I emailed mintpal.

Is there anyway to check if someone voted on ecoinfund? I want to know so I can start a giveaway to get people to vote.

Maybe a screen shot before a and after voting?

I feel like that might be a lot of effort for the user, especially since we need ~900 votes and I don't see 900 people flocking in immediately. I'm not putting this off though, I want to CGB onto that exchange.

123 votes, we are second in line to be added! Keep voting guys!

Miffman, how about good old fashioned trust then? I will donate to your giveaway effort. Those that receive will have a vested interest in CGB growth so I think most will be honest. But I am a trusting person by nature.

Hey i want to start voting but i don't see CGB in that list?

This should help:

Ok thanks, i started voting at allcrypt and will make it a daily event Smiley
Will also take a loot at that other exchanges!
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptogenic Bullion to incorporate a built in exchange into the blockchain? on: February 28, 2014, 04:26:14 PM
A hidden exchange inside the blockchain? What does that mean?

1626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People actually thought bitcoin was dead because of MtGox? on: February 26, 2014, 03:41:04 PM
Yep people get scared easily today

Big exchange like Gox falling down is a big thing. 744,000 BTC stolen is also a very big thing. Who says this can't happen again with one of the other big exchanges?
1627  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2014-02-04] Homeless Man Begs for Bitcoin Donations on: February 26, 2014, 03:38:59 PM
He probably succeeds because he is the first one so he gets attention. After all the homeless people discover this they will get nothing anymore.
1628  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The very essence of BTC got hurt on: February 26, 2014, 03:27:13 PM
After this Gox debacle, how many BTC of all the BTC in existence have at some point been stolen from its previous owners?

I think 10 - 20% of all bitcoin economy are stolen coins.

Something to think about for all those idealistic people who see bitcoin as ultimate freedom, and the people who downplay the current events as "growing pains". And more of these events may follow.

"We", the bitcoin community, are in some way all money launderers and traders in stolen goods.

Talking about the essence of Bitcoin...

26/2 update

February 26th 2014

Dear MtGox Customers,

As there is a lot of speculation regarding MtGox and its future, I would like to use this opportunity to reassure everyone that I am still in Japan, and working very hard with the support of different parties to find a solution to our recent issues.

Furthermore I would like to kindly ask that people refrain from asking questions to our staff: they have been instructed not to give any response or information. Please visit this page for further announcements and updates.

Sincerely,
Mark Karpeles

Dear MtGox Customers,

In the event of recent news reports and the potential repercussions on MtGox's operations and the market, a decision was taken to close all transactions for the time being in order to protect the site and our users. We will be closely monitoring the situation and will react accordingly.

Best regards,
MtGox Team

It's not much, I know. But it's something...

1633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gox getting aquired? Lets start a theoretical auction - How much is gox worth? on: February 25, 2014, 10:40:58 AM
What would the possible buyer pay for? Reputation and all the customers are gone. What else there is worth money that Mt. Gox has?

Customers aren't gone. A lot of them are still there... held hostage in Gox  Roll Eyes
1634  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why are people defending MTGox? on: February 25, 2014, 09:25:39 AM
Is it me or is MtGOX down?  Huh

I think it's you.

I'm logged right now. Gox just re-enabled bitcoin withdrawals. Didn't you get the memo? I'm withdrawing bitcoins as we speak.

 Lips sealed

Stop making fun of the situation. Many people lost a lot of money. I can feel their pains.
MtGox is still giving blank page. Android app seems to be able to pull some info. According to app, Trading volume is "zero."

I also lost some money on this, € 400. Not much, I know, but still. Me making a joke doesn't mean I like this situation, and I'm not one of those guys who wishes everyone to lose their money. Hope everyone gets it back eventually.

edit: And let's not forget it's not sure the money and BTC are really lost. Nothing is sure yet at this moment!

This sudden big crash just hours before the Gox announcement must mean someone knows something we don't.

Ahmed is the first and one that coded ABE (Ahmed Bodi Explorer) - blockexplorer, that uses everywhere.
I think when return to cryptsy will be, the price first 24-72 hours will be dumped alot. Then will return to 100-120+.

Good buying opportunity for us then  Cool
