1621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and How Do you watch live boxing and MMA matches on: May 13, 2023, 06:53:28 AM

Easy to watch and find friends who are also watching the match when you are on facebook, I Once tried sharing the streaming link and found my friends also watching and good to see the, comment to live stream.  They are also betting as well but on other platform.

Although I can see bookies have live streaming services, its no fun when it loads slow.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Satoshi? on: May 12, 2023, 06:09:30 PM

This is a minor issue, Satoshi wouldn't come out all because of this since it had happened before and then gone as well.
If he is alive, he wouldn't mind either whether people use other cryptocurrencies. He knows there will be altcoins since he was part of it when the Codes are posted as open source. Anyone can copy the code and release something else after.

Making BTC more anonymous I think can be done with another project on top of BTC. Taproot has it.
1623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much does Bitcoin affect other cryptocurrency? on: May 12, 2023, 05:33:06 PM

All other coins and tokens that are listed on the exchanges are pegged to BTC.  Almost all altcoins can be traded against BTC which is why it has the biggest volume and dominance in the market.

All other altcoins are priced in satoshis so when BTC is dumped the value of those altcoins also falls.
What happens in a way though is that altcoins' buy orders are filled.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto VS Fiat Online Gambling as per Google trends on: May 12, 2023, 05:06:19 PM
Seem odd to see someone who will really be searching those terms on Google as most of the time, beginners will normally just search poker or strategies to win. Whatever the reason for someone to search "crypto gambling" has no intention to play on online casino but just researching. And is the search term "USD gambling"

None of those search terms spark a trend but most probably gambling in fiat still wins the volume compared to people using crypto.

1625  Economy / Gambling / Re: BCGame Affiliate Program Issues on: May 12, 2023, 03:24:58 AM

I have tried having a dialogue with the people associated with this but I haven't received as much as a reply back. They're not even willing to talk. What they have done could be legal but this is still a huge red flag for people to stay away, after all what kind of site slashes it's affiliate rates without any announcement and then refuse to speak with one of its biggest affiliate.

I don't know if there could be legal action for it since most of the policies they made are subject to change. There have been incidents like this to affiliate marketers who are not related to crypto or casino and it's the same thing that happened.

The most tedious part of this is you have to take down or edit the articles you have made to promote them. It's worse when you have a domain that is closely related to BCgame. Anyway, you have warned people already.
1626  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin is not rising soon!. on: May 12, 2023, 02:25:04 AM
It's getting cheaper already. Last time I tried 10 minutes priority for 10USD. It used to be 24$ a week ago.

the price of bitcoin is currently experiencing a decline and of course there are many reasons and maybe it could also be because
high btc transaction fees that discourage people from buying btc. so indeed for now btc is being faced with a tough ordeal and in my opinion btc will definitely take quite a long time to recover, and I hope the price of btc goes up quickly, and hopefully btc transaction fees quickly return to normal and become cheap.

The market is very unpredictable. For a moment we get to have a green candle and hours later it's already red presenting us lower lows.

But I think we are about to bounce again sooner to go more than $31K. Just my hunch as I see the 4hr chart getting ready to move up and there is the news about the regulation hearing moving forward.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: May 12, 2023, 02:06:35 AM
This is just the basics, but anyone should be aware of it:

Budget: set it BEFORE you start gambling and stick to it.
Have a break from time to time, it is important to let your brain stop and consider.
Avoid drugs / drink as much as possible, they will make you loose some control innevitably.
Seek help if you feel you are no longer in control. Make a phone call to a friend or go out and speak with someone.

Anything else anyone can think of? Like... read this post before gambling? Tongue
What I did is? Letting my Wife handle all our funds and just allow Her to give me my weekly budget to gamble , in that way I managed to maintain my spending amount and only that I need to decide when to stand while winning .
nowadays I have learn my ways and yes she do not need to give me my allowance for gambling because I understand how much i need to gamble and also I know when to stand from table.
this partnership will surely let you just enjoy and never regret your gambling activities.

    - The Only problem is if you are still single and no one to let you managed your money , better to have strict rules and focused mind or else never engaged in gambling forever.
     - because no matter what? you will always lose and that is the reality and the saddest part is if you will turn addicted .

never be like this lol

You have a very considerate wife. While some of us are not telling our wives we gamble online, you get to have a budget. You definitely had chosen a great wife.

Whether married or not, however, one will still have to manage his funds to live so in order to just keep it that way a person should just bear in mind the bills to pay and food on the table. When he is responsible enough, I think he will not go deep into gambling.

1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sending bank statement for verification on: May 12, 2023, 01:33:07 AM

From the casino's perspective as well is that they may be suspecting OP of doing something illegal which is why they are asking for KYC and bank statements. This must be a Bitcoin casino with a fiat option.

Of course, this may be safe since he said the casino is reputable. No matter how safe it may sound, it is also revealing his data to them which could also be leaked somewhere.
1629  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting into the hands of Web3 users|can we design DEX for sports beting? on: May 11, 2023, 03:35:22 PM
This kind of discussion should be posted on your ANN thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5450576.msg62165818#msg6216581. because the topic is just circulating on your casino use case. Creating a separate thead to promote your casino is not allowed because this can be considered as duplicate topic. You should be cautious on doing this kind of thread or else the moderator might punish you for violating the rules.

If you want to create a discussion on a particular topic. Make sure that it didn't mention your services such as promoting it because doing this will just advertise your casino instead of a discussion. You free to do all of this on your own ANN
thread. Your project is nice btw. Lock this thread or edit your content if you want to continue.

He could edit this to make sure it won't look like it's another ANN thread in the gambling forum.  In the Ann thread also there is another user there who is probably a rep as well of this casino named Ubetsports01 replying to inquiries.

Looks very interesting platform actually,  decentralized platform with no centralized bookie is something new. There are just a few sports on the websites though. Most of them seem Coming Soon yet.
1630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Results of U.S. debt default on: May 11, 2023, 05:18:43 AM

QE will be good for the crypto but then they might not like it as well. And it will result in people not trusting USD. They do have options like raising the debt ceiling or just cut spending.

Recession will come like 2008 and cycle again. It will keep going and will have another recession in the next decades.  The fact that it keeps coming back, there is no real solution to this.
1631  Economy / Gambling / Re: BCGame Affiliate Program Issues on: May 11, 2023, 04:19:21 AM
Contact OP here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088875.0
That is the official thread they have in bitcointalk but in that thread, you can find their channels where you might wanna try as well to connect with them. Here is the telegram https://t.me/joinchat/L5YyYla7--Arsls3DgAgdw

If it doesn't work still. You may have to tell your referrals about that 10% already and then move on to another casino affiliate. You've made thousands though, seem worth the time you did. Let me ask, is you giving 10% legal according to their policy?
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: May 11, 2023, 02:12:23 AM
Joe Biden is already officially running, perhaps you missed his announcement.
Also, one of the strong points about Trump is that he is a natural negotiator, he managed to prove it while dealing with Mexican diplomacy (according to him) and also trying to deal the the leader of North Korea, but it would take him more than being a good negotiator to stop the invasion against Ukraine. Putin would likely ask for concessions and perhaps part of the captured territory to be officially recognized as part of Russia. I do not know what Trump would do in that case.

The Ukrainian government would not accept such terms.

The Ukrainian government will accept whatever their masters tell them. But I don't think that there will be any ceasefire attempts before the "spring offensive". Ukraine claims that they have readied an army of more than 1 million people, and in a few months they will be able to retake all the lost territory (including the Crimean peninsula). There will be no settlement before everyone gets to know who gets the upper hand in this offensive. If Russia manages to hold off the offensive, then in all probability they will get the occupied areas as a concession. If that doesn't happen, then the settlement will be done as per the terms of the NATO.

That will be a hard part for Putin to take. He is not the kind that will just accept what NATO is saying. As long as Putin has the back of China, this will be settled in a war between China vs the US also. This has been preprogrammed when you see the news all over the world despite China brokering the peace negotiation, NATO says no and gives no solution.

The next election might not even happen, election days could become a 3rd world country chaos since Trump is being stamped out. He has the upper hand but he will be subdued and may cause divide.
1633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chinese coins pump coming? on: May 11, 2023, 01:42:47 AM
Cryptocurrency is a global market there's always a huge gain for every crypto that's the needed fundamental concept, utility, potential, and use case needed by the investors. There's nothing about a Chinese or American coin pump.
Although, the Chinese may want to create some hype through their false analysis just like they used to do then with NEO but the effect will only last for some time.

There is truth to that Hongkong opening its gate for cryptocurrency adoption though, it could be a catalyst from the East to make the bull run for crypto which might just be the first in history where the bull run will be led by the Eastern countries.

The only project that I have seen with so much exposure is the Vechain. But the one with much potential is the FIlecoin. It's a bit worrisome to invest though because right now it's only BTC that has higher price fluctuation.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 11, 2023, 12:33:20 AM
It's only going to get bigger and bigger too..I mean we are just touching the very TIP of the online gambling industry.  Here in the United States laws around gambling have become much more relaxed, especially in states like my own, Illinois, where gambling has been legalized across the board..however even here for many online casinos you have to initially set up your account using the casinos IP address.  Then you can bet anywhere, but must set up the account at the casino to start.  Before long this will no longer be a requirement for casinos across the country, which will only had to this explosion.  Then the rest of the world will follow the western world before long as follow suit...again, just the tip is where we are right now.

With everything going digital, yes it's gonna get bigger. When our government launched the digital wallet for our local currency, local casinos are also launching their version of online casinos. After months of it, we already heard people lost their fortune over online gambling.

Thats one manifestation that online gambling is really getting bigger and there is no sign of it going slow while influencers promote casinos as well.

this is really also a problem as it will attract more newbies to gamble that is why there are a lot of people that educating other people by teaching them the risk towards gambler and other are having free consultation or mental support through online to those who are addicted to gambling. I hope that you government will also like have program for those addicted to gambling and not just focusing to on regulating those casinos

If you look carefully at the rapid development of gambling and the scant development of assistance to gamblers, their rehabilitation, as well as preventive measures aimed at explaining the principles of gambling to schoolchildren and students, you can conclude that the governments of many countries just pretend to care about the population. In reality they care only about taxes coming into the treasury and the laws which they adopt in most cases are aimed not at protection of the unprotected population, but at their own benefit.
This is actually situational because there are really places on the world or countries which had been banning all forms of gambling or simply been prohibited.

United Arab Emirates
Brunei
Cambodia
North Korea
Japan
Singapore
....
https://www.lawyer-monthly.com/2018/02/10-countries-where-gambling-is-completely-illegal/

Dont know if this one is on both physical or online betting but for  sure there are countries which both banned  these things. Gambling industry
isnt the only source on where they could be able to extract out that TAX but well its not shocking into those places on where
they do heavily rely on this industry considering on how much money could really be generated into this  matter.

It's somehow just publicity that these countries still have gambling as far as I know. Even China which bans gambling sets up a place for gamblers like Las Vegas. Cambodia has a lot of casinos and so is Singapore. What can be illegal today may not be illegal in a few decades.

They are doing this because they know people will still gamble in hiding. There is always a big guy somewhat above the law who will make money out of gambling. The government will be happy to accommodate them and tax the activity. And with online gambling, they can't stop it.
1635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: May 10, 2023, 05:20:54 PM
wow the odds are out on stake.com

https://stake.com/sports/boxing/international/international-matchups/43587054-nghitumbwa-fillipus-casimero-john-riel

It's strange that Casimero has an odd of @1.31 normally this odd value tends to be a trap, if Casimero had an odd of @1.10 I would be convinced that he would win this fight without any difficulties, but now that I see this odd then it means that the bookmakers are still not convinced that casimir will get an easy victory in this fight, probably the risk of him losing is medium in practice, but also betting on a fight like this and with odds of @1.31 doesn't seem to be viable, even that he wins the profit would not pay off unless one adds this fight to a multibet bet but that too would be very risky

anyway if Casimero loses in this fight then Nghitumbwa will become very famous and will start to attract a lot of attention in the Boxing world so this fight is more important for Nghitumbwa than a victory here he will climb many steps on the ladder of fame and will also feel more confident that he can beat more international fighters, however in case he loses here in a humiliating way he will be a joke, people even before he fights laugh at him and don't see him winning this fight, so if he loses everyone will he'll laugh a lot, of course he'll feel bad but it's a risk he took the moment he agreed to fight

3.4 for Nghitumbwa, which he has a slim chance but if luck favors him, he will indeed make a loud noise humiliating a top dog.  His next fight will be more challenging as well. He'll need more luck from his supporters.

Proving himself against the rest on top will be more challenging for a fighter who hasn't even tested fighting abroad. But who knows, almost all his fights ended in a KO.
1636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin will become stable currency? on: May 10, 2023, 04:12:34 PM

There is no fun when BTC is stable. If you are looking for stable currency, there are stablecoins available already. That's the one you need.

You can do a lot with stablecoins, especially in the defi platform. And you can simply trade BTC with stablecoin as you can take advantage of its price instability. It's the way it is since the time the crypto market opened.
1637  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bhutan Kingdom is looking for Mining partners to expand their project on: May 10, 2023, 03:37:06 PM

It's said that they are already mining using hydroelectricity but they are still looking for partners. It could be that building another hydroelectric power plant solely for mining is what they will propose.

If it helps for their economic independence, why not. It's strategic for the country to go into BTC mining after all they can provide green energy. Anything that can give an opportunity to make use of their waters will be good.
1638  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you Spending Money the Wrong Way in Pursuit of Happiness? on: May 10, 2023, 02:21:24 AM

In today's world, you really can't say money can't buy happiness because you can't be happy when your stomach growls. It only means money helps you being happy.

But I think there is no wrong way of spending your money unless you didn't share what you bought with someone you love. Be it your significant other or family members. You will not regret the money you spend when you shared it with them.

1640  Economy / Gambling / Re: blizz.io blatant scammers stay away on: May 10, 2023, 02:00:38 AM

they are unreasonable not to give any proof they want to appropriate the money i deposited in the amount i won total 2,200$

There is no accusation against them so far but yours only. Maybe they are really that good and you really have cheated otherwise they won't just do this with just $2,200.

But yep you may try that askgamblers suggested above. That's one way to do it for you to be heard since they already stated it's final. They seem to be confident in their decision and there could be truth to what they are saying. Sorry for your loss.
