1641  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lottery project - say what you think on: August 19, 2016, 02:29:17 PM
lottery games have never been successful around here because of a couple of big reasons (this is my opinion only):
1) the trust: obvious reason
2) the amount you can win
3) the chance of winning that amount.

explaining 2&3) when you buy a lottery ticket in real life you have the chance of winning a very big amount of money, and that is enough to motivate a lot of people to buy the ticket for a cheap price. but when your chance of winning a tiny amount of jackpot is small it is lose/lose situation for you.

1) I give details about the fair in the site.
2) The amount depends in players. More players = less chance, higher prize. Less players = More chance, lower prize. Lower prize will be the double of Bitcoins bet.
3) Idem.
4) Perfect number.

you design is so bad, i suggest you rethink that ASAP, or nobody will ever trust your site enough. also if you want to earn money you have to spend some money in the first stages always. so try and spend some money and buy a decent domain with a hosting plan instead of using a free hosting like what you have done here.

1642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price hovering around 570-580. Is it a good move to buy? on: August 19, 2016, 02:26:55 PM
People were saying back then that they are going to buy when prices drop below $600.

you have to see when the drop happens and buy at that time, which means you should have bought at lower than $550 when it first happened the first day of the drop.

Quote
Now that that's happened, is it still a good idea to buy?

well ,it is always risky to buy bitcoin and you never know when the price is going to go up or fall down.
but for long term investment it is a good idea to buy bitcoin and holding it for a couple of years.

Quote
Did you buy?

yes, at the very bottom.

Quote
Are you planning to buy?

no because i bought what i wanted back when price was $200 and all of you were crying about the death of bitcoin Cheesy
and also i have bought so much more in every dip and sold in case of sudden rise and bought back and transferred all to my cold storage.
1643  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: August 19, 2016, 02:20:25 PM
if i ever am in desperate need of money, then i go into my emergency funds and withdraw some from my bank and use it.

and if that was not enough i would sell something like one of my investments, like bitcoin, gold, stocks, or any other thing depending on how much money i need.

and as a last resort i will go to a bank and take out a loan, but i really hate to do this. and since i have never done it i want to continue this way until the rest of my life.
1644  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: August 19, 2016, 02:16:17 PM
My strategy in gambling are very simple. I will set an amount that enough to have fun. Im put small amount to bet so i can have more try. When im won, im taking some rest then gamble again. When my earnings is enough, i stop gambling and gamble again on the other day. When the amount that i set loss, i stop and try again on the other day. I do gamble for fun and also to have profit.

i think every strategy can be good enough if you can stick to it till the end and not go out of the rules you set for yourself.
for example if you set a rule that you only make small bets then you should never make any big bet ever. this way you can eliminate emotions from you gambling decisions so that you can have a better chance of winning.
1645  Economy / Gambling / Re: monthly best gambling site!!! (august edition) on: August 19, 2016, 02:11:27 PM
from the current available list of gambling sites i choose crypto-games.net because of the option of gambling with multiple altcoins only.

also i have come to like http://satoshigames.io/ ever since i started using it, and i think you should add this to the list too.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting VS Online Casino VS Bitcoin Dice VS Lottery ? on: August 19, 2016, 02:04:18 PM
According to you , which one of these is the best way to gamble..?

it is a bit hard for me to choose between Dice games and Sports betting because i like both of these games and they are two different thing that you can play at any time as you wish.

but i can tell you what is the worse choice: it is lottery. it never turns out to be legit and is never handled properly.
1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: August 19, 2016, 01:59:57 PM
Think about what you're doing here: You're asking random people on the internet where to put your money. ...

actually i think asking other people for advice is a good thing, because it is like brainstorming and also it is a good way of using other people's experiences.
but you have to be careful about the replies you get. there is always bad suggestions along with good ones. so you have to consider all bad until proven otherwise.
1648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use custodial wallet services? on: August 18, 2016, 04:44:04 PM
Like Coinbase. It's like paypal for bitcoin, they can block your account at any time or just vanish into thin air.

it is simple: coinbase or any other service like it is newbie friendly.

you just sign up there and you can buy/sell/hold/spend/receive bitcoin all in one place without even knowing what bitcoin is, and how it works.

and since people are lazy, they choose these wallets. in comparison bitcoin core is a big pain in the ass for them because you have to download the whole blockchain (70-80GB) and it takes a very long time and you need to understand what bitcoin is how to send a transaction, how to secure your wallet.

besides not everybody is aware of the dangers of using these web wallets, they see a pretty website and pretty promises of security and they believe them until they get hacked like bitfinex and poof all the money is gone.
1649  Economy / Speculation / Re: Kim Dotcom Predict 2000$ per Bitcoin ??!! on: August 18, 2016, 04:39:09 PM
kim dotcoms tweets are mostly hyping up the project he is planning on releasing next year and he is mostly advertising that. but also what he is advertising is not a crappy thing, it can actually be a revolution in file sharing and earning money through it. so it is possible to help the bitcoin price rise too.
1650  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Investment sites for Btc on: August 18, 2016, 04:35:09 PM
....
There is a new exchange that gives 24% Apr. I just forgot the name if I find it again I'll update this post. Other investments to look into will definitely be altcoin mining and pos staking. I've been pretty interested in it lately and there a few altcoins I recommend. 1337 , poke , orbit , token , scan , and truck coin. You might not agree with everything but you will fond at least one coin you believe in. Also yes as you have said you can invest in casinos which is a good idea too. Just remember to diversity.

i think that you are talking about liqui exchange that has started working recently. they are not yet out of beta stage as far as i know.

besides i don't think investing in an exchange site is such a good idea with all these exchange hacks that are happening with them.
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-Sport Prediction , share your prediction here on: August 18, 2016, 04:29:14 PM
My picks for today dota 2 matches.
WG.Unity vs Trust, best of 2. I think this match ended with draw.
Mski vs Mongolz, best of 3. I pick Mski to win on this match and i predict 2-1 or 2-0 win for mski.

i feel dumb when watching dota2 now, i have been away from the dota2 scene for a while now and now that i am back and i am watching some of the games i am confused about what is happening and who is who, there are many new players and many things have changed including the new meta.

trust me youll catch up in no time just know that wings liquid and EG are on their game and OG are on the verge of breaking up according to rumours :O

yeah, i have been catching up with the teams and since i know most of the teams and their players it wasn't as hard as i thought it would be. but i am still confused about the new meta and i think it need to watch some more games to catch up with that too.
only if i had more time Cheesy

.....
Lol, i know what you feel man. Every patch always have their own meta and this meta is the best so far. A great news for dota players is 2 new hero will release soon.

you made me super excited.
do you know what those new heros are?
i have been waiting for them to release PitLord forever.
1652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETC / ETH dead on: August 18, 2016, 04:25:36 PM
Etherum Classic have around 8% from all crypto market, so this is very good. Second place after Bitcoin, so I think it will stay in the crypto market at least 2 - 3 years. To make profit, you must buy ETH Classic at right time and sale it also at right time.  Grin

If the Ethereum Classic can survive in the next two months, it could be very good investment for the longer term.

that is irrelevant i think.
Ethereum Classic will surely survive in the next two months and more and will surely see some pumps to the moon and dumps back down but that doesn't make it a good investment for long term since ethereum is not good in first place to begin with!
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do any people gamble under the age of 18? on: August 18, 2016, 04:18:23 PM
Yes, in fact, with CS:GO before skin gambling was banned by Valve. It happened more often than people thought it did, and there are plenty of them that have won or lost lots of money. I knew kids who were only around 14 years old who had made nearly 5000 dollars from 25$ by going all in on green on a roulette twice, and ones who had lost more than a thousand. It's a serious problem and I'm glad Valve have partially solved the problem, but there are still loopholes that those sites are using such as 'tokens'.

how did they ban skin gambling, i am not so familiar with how cs:go skins work but if they are anything like any other steam items they can be gambled still, although it is a little harder. and sadly this opens up the gambling doors to many minors who are younger than 18 and potentially can ruin them.
1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good coins to accumulate and hold relatively long to mid term on: August 18, 2016, 04:12:21 PM
i agree on ETH and ETC coins. ETH can go down but it may also come back up but that only makes it super risky to invest in.
and about ETC, i have a feeling that this is the bottom for this coin and from here the price will only go up.

another coin that i have under my observation while i accumulate some is Lisk which has held its price up for a long time over a stable price.

in my opinion moneypot is one of the best options for investing in a gambling related business with bitcoin, mostly because of the size of it and the number of sites that are using it.

but on the other hand, i have not seen a good return from moneypot in the recent past (short term) this may change in long term though.
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving bitcoin a new name on: August 18, 2016, 04:00:10 PM
there is not much we can do about bitcoin's reputation. you can only try to inform others about the scams and try to spread the good word about bitcoin and try to tell other people that bitcoin is not as bad as they have been told all these years by the banks and government.

i suggest you change the subject from bitcoin name to bitcoin reputation, "name" is misleading.
1658  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BITSLER VS PRIMEDICE ? Which more fair ? Which you win more ? on: August 17, 2016, 01:45:38 PM
Simple Question BITSLER VS PRIMEDICE ?
Which more fair ? Which you win more ? Which more fast ?
Can you share your thoughts?

you can not measure fairness of these sites because being fair is not a scale, they are either fair or not and there is no middle ground. if you see anything shady from any site even if they have been fair then they lose that fairness.
as for my thoughts i prefer primedice because they seem more famous than the other one that i have heard their name once or twice.
1659  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 17, 2016, 01:39:07 PM
the best way of saving money is investing it something with a relatively stable price. for example buying gold, real estate,... and many other things that makes it so you don't have access to your money in form of fiat soit would be difficult to spend it but yet easy if you need it for an emergency as selling things like gold is easy and fast.
