1681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With a booming on 2017 and difficult time on 2018, will Bitcoin recover on 2019? on: December 28, 2018, 05:30:03 AM
in my own view, 2019 will be better than 2018. there will further increase in the use of blockchain. However, the price might not pump greatly as it was in 2017 but we shall see some major pump which might be temporary.
1682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning 200 bitcoins stolen from electrum users via malicious update on: December 28, 2018, 05:25:24 AM
Electrum wallet has always been targeted by hackers for a long time. Almost every year we hear news like this. The same thing happened last year. I believe it is high time people start downloading sensitive wallet from official websites and not anywhere. For God sake, crypto wallet is not a crack wallet that we can look and download from any source.
1683  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker stole my funds from blockchain on: December 28, 2018, 05:13:55 AM
this is why I always advise people to make sure they install malwarebyte on their laptop. No matter how stealthy the threat, it will be discovered if truly you account is hacked. I could remember I use to get verification mail before login to my account when I was using blockchain web wallet. How come you are not notify

1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen if miners stop mining bitcoin? on: December 23, 2018, 09:16:54 AM
The whole system will collapse.

But that will not happen unless bitcoin's price drops down to 100$ or smth like that. As long as mining is profitable, people will be mining bitcoins.
But the profitability is what is the problem. From what I have heard, the miners are shutting down because mining BTC is becoming unprofitable for them and if this continue to happen then the system might collapse.
1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Believe The Trading Volumes On Most Exchanges on: December 23, 2018, 08:49:20 AM
I have noticed this most especially in many of the new trading platforms. probably they are doing that to attract more people to the platform.
Not on the new only. As I saw in the investigation recently it happens on the all big exchanges exclude binance and bitfinex. Watch on the order list. Do you think many orders with 1-2 tokens are real? No doubt it's a bot
This is really sad. even all those exchange that naturally people will think they are very transparent and fair. all this make me even begin to think there maybe more to this in term of shady business these numerous exchanges might be into. money laundering etc.

Why is 1xbit not included. I have couples of them I have tested by non of them have bet types past 1xbit. I have been using them for more than 1 year now and I have not for ones have problem with withdrawal. I think they are also great and they deserve to be on the list. I do not like betcoin. the site to me is not that friendly. High CPU which cause browser to freeze

1xbit is owned by 1xbet which many people have problems with. I cannot in good faith recommend anyone register there. There are lot of complaints on SBR. (1) (2)

It's *probably* fine if you play small and don't win, but you'll likely have issues with high amounts and winning.
I checked and I can see numerous complains about the bookmarker. I have cashout big from them before. all my previous winning is less than 0.1 BTC and my highest cashout has been 0.065 BTC. I will keep eyes crossed about your recommendations. Almost all sportsbooks are having problem with payment in one way or the other but when complain is getting too much then it means the sportbook is not good.

1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Influence of bounty on: December 22, 2018, 03:20:34 PM
I do not think anybody will dispute the fact that ICO can be successful without bounty because we have seen so many like that currently and in the past but reason why most ICO choose bounty is because to them, it is most cost effective and the most reliable way to reach crypto investors. it is not only common people that invest in ICO. Even some bounty hunters also invest.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon launches blockchain product on: December 22, 2018, 03:16:09 PM
Cryptocurrency have continue to witness huge development in term of the usage of the technology which is the blockchain. There is no doubt that this will continue even next year. We all actually need this as this will further strengthen crypto but it might not rise faster as we all want to see. We need to be patient
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves will replace ethereum on: December 22, 2018, 03:10:55 PM
Its being long we have heard of any update from waves platform. If there will be a new development then it will be great and maybe Ethereum blockchain can rest a bit while many people focus more on the wave platform. All the same this is a good news coming at the right time.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FOAM protocol on: December 22, 2018, 03:08:48 PM
Well we have heard interesting project in the past that fail to deliver so let them start first before we continue to rate them
1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: December 22, 2018, 03:06:18 PM
ICO might be good in term of proposal but they might not get actual amount needed to further the project and ones such ICO give huge discount for investors and also allocate huge amount of token for bounty, Such ICO can get dump when listed. The moral of the study is to keep your mouth where it is safe. many project allocated huge bonuses and discount for token and ones they realize they will not be able to comply with this. they will start having problem with hunters and investors.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does KYC gives you ? on: December 22, 2018, 03:01:28 PM
Some ICO are based in country that require them to do KYC for their investors and customers in order them to comply with rules and regulations that guide the financial establishment. In other way round, some ICO deliberately do it to deprive hunters their token. Such ICO will not say anything concerning this but ones they finish the project, they will come out with KYC plan for Hunters e.g JINBI
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: December 22, 2018, 02:54:12 PM
If you are using myetherwallet, your need to use password will be nil! You really do not need password to unlock your wallet with mew since your coin is not saved on any server, mew only give you access to interact with  ethereum blockchain, your password is onpy needed to rap your private key of which you can decide not yo use password!
I use the password and keystore file. I believe that this method is the safest because no one can get my file. even if someone knows my password, he will not be able to enter the wallet without a file
the keystore is very safe but you should kept your private key to explore other options. your account is encrypted so you need password which you have set. probably you need to continuing try guessing your password
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyEtherWallet Password on: December 22, 2018, 02:51:00 PM
I forgot my MyEtherWallet password. I don't see "forgot password" in MyEtherWallet website. Is this means that I can't change my password anymore? Anyone have suggestions about this matter? Kindly share it to me please. Thanks!

There is no password.

When you created wallet on Myetherwallet you got your keys, you probably save them to your PC.
Because you have used them at least once to check your balance?

So the question you must ask yourself did you ever opened your wallet after initial creation, if not there is a good chance that you never downloaded your keys in the first place.

you are giving wrong information. depending on how the account holder want to access MEW. if he is using keystore, He will need to further input the password which he has set for the account and this is what he is asking for here. i do not think you can retrieve your password but if you know the private key you can explore other options
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If ICO Fails, Then what happen next? on: December 22, 2018, 02:36:23 PM
Now most ICOs currently fail to reach the softcap, this is because there are many live ICOs that make the competition very tight, and if the ICO fails they usually refund money to investors.
I do not think it is competition but rather decrease in rate at which investors are contributing to ICO. Many investors do not want to invest in crypto compare to early 2017 due to high volatility rate and increase in rate of scam
