1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold Rush Is Over As Investors Get Bored Of Cryptocurrency on: October 11, 2014, 10:51:03 AM
The title is not appropriately related to the meaning of the article, lopsiding to negative. Actually the article is neutral. It is also talking about the popularity or benefits of bitcoin.
1684  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Bitcoin’s Price Really Matter Right Now? on: October 10, 2014, 03:24:52 PM
Yes, it matters for the mining farms runned for the profit from cashing out the mined bitcoin. They have a lot of overheads such as electricity, upgrade, rent, staff salary etc deducted from the cash through converting bitcoin, the amount of which largely relies on the bitcoin conversion rate. They must be covered , furthermore extra profits are needed to satisfy the shareholders to carry on the mining business.
1685  Economy / Economics / Re: Mainstream merchant adoption leads do declining Bitcoin price? on: October 10, 2014, 03:07:03 PM
At the moment it is true. But when bitcoin goes to mainstream, bitcoin price is stable and anti-inflation. No matter the merchants or the holders tend to keep bitcoin. Many products are priced as bitcoin. More merchants adoption means the price is increasing.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's next after Bitcoin? on: October 09, 2014, 11:19:46 AM

I do not really beleive that bitcoin has realized its full potention yet , do you agree ?
totally agree. Its adoption rate is low,the number of applications is not much, ecosystem is on the process of building to be perfect.
1687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this real? on: October 09, 2014, 11:10:22 AM
I know this is fake but is it even possible? A bug in a account?
Oups! I see that this email contains wrong deposit address.
The right address is... Wait... Give me a minute to start my client... Yes! OK! I am ready! Write down...
The correct address is 1ENnzep2ivWYqXjAodTueiZscT6kunAyYs
LOL. Maybe some greedy newbies would send 0.01, small enough to check its validity. If fail, they only lose some changes. If lucky, they may earn a good fortune.
1688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nobel prize for Satoshi Nakamoto! on: October 08, 2014, 11:45:04 AM
The five Nobel Prizes are awarded for outstanding contributions in the fields of physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature, and work for peace. Bitcoin is not an outstanding contribution in any of those fields, and therefore Satoshi does not deserve a Nobel Prize.
When the Nobel Prize Fund was created, there was no cryptocurrency yet. So it doesn't fall into any category of Nobel Prise awarding. If bitcoin serves the interests of Nobel Prize, the foundation should consider to add this category.
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Businesses get $25,000 fine for using Bitcoin, $2507 fine for gov officials on: October 08, 2014, 11:29:21 AM
Curious which country is releasing such tough regulation to bitcoin, which is trying to kill bitcoin. I don't think the USA will follow.

1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a pool hides the blocks found? on: October 07, 2014, 11:12:18 AM
I don't think the pools can manipulate the block generation. Once the block is generated, the reward of bitcoin will go to the pool's address and be broadcasted to the whole network. I know one type of scam pool, who never release the reward to miners.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you notice the silence about this bitcoin crash in Mainstream media! on: October 06, 2014, 03:51:10 PM
Bitcoin is just the game of minority and doesn't worth their reporting for it.
1694  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank ATM fees are going up on: October 06, 2014, 01:12:55 PM
I don't think it will be easy for them to arbitrarily increase the fees. Many customers are price sensative and would opt to other bank offering low fees. The gov is regulating the banking industry and pushing them to eliminate unfair charges.
1695  Economy / Economics / Re: Reasons to HODL! on: October 05, 2014, 05:46:02 AM
It's ecosystem is at the progress of becoming mature. Bitcoin startups attract many venture capitals to invest specific projects to offer useful application in our daily lifes. Such coinbase, bitpay as bitcoin payment processor are providing accepting bitcoin payment solution for merchants. Circle provides bitcoin bank service for global customers.
1696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the price is keep going down? on: October 05, 2014, 05:28:46 AM
More merchants accept bitcoin payment, more bitcoins are converted to fiat once bitcoin payment is made.
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accept Credit Card, get paid in Bitcoin on: October 04, 2014, 03:02:10 PM
Impossible at the moment. The bitcoin price is too volatile at the moment and most of the mechants accepting bitcoin payment will convert the bitcoin payment to fiat right away to keep the fiat profit.
1698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most of FUD creators are newbies! Whats their plan? on: October 04, 2014, 01:31:33 PM

1699  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / Re: 有没有人关注openbazaar? on: October 03, 2014, 03:18:47 PM
https://openbazaar.org/ 很有前途的应用, 不过需要翻墙,对我们太不公平了
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just throwing this out there. on: October 03, 2014, 01:06:00 PM
When the official version Open Bazaar come out, it will hit the market. The first e-commence system is implementing decentralized concept paying by bitcoin. It will save a lot of fees for the buyers and sellers. Every one who know about cryptocurrency will rush to try their service.
