1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did anybody already pay with bitcoin in the Microsoft Store? on: December 20, 2014, 03:39:47 AM
Did microsoft say they are going to keep a portion of the BTC they get from sales? I hope microsoft didn't cause the crash from $350 to $310.

I don't think any of these companies that accept Bitcoin hold onto them for any period of time. Easier to liquidate

1709  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in freefall... Too bad for those people who bought over 100$! hahaha on: December 19, 2014, 03:53:08 AM
Soon the great btc tulip mania is over  Smiley Bitcoin going under 100$ and never going back up where it was  Smiley
Leaving believers to believe, traders, investors and corporations moving on  Smiley

Under $100? Why so pessimistic?

Nothing to indicate prices will be going that low

1710  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea threatens "merciless" response over Seth Rogen film on: December 19, 2014, 02:38:15 AM
I fully believe that Kim Jong-Un and his family have been a murderous catastrophe for the North Korean people, but it doesn't help that most of the attention it receives from the international community is made-up stories (the haircut, the flamethrower executions, feeding uncle to dogs etc.) that allow us to see the whole country as a slapstick, madcap bit of Bond villainy rather than the deliberate throttling of tens of millions of people.

Completely true at least in the US

I thought the movie looked kind of stupid before but now that is has been banned I'm going to have to torrent it when it leaks.
1711  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ShipItBuddy Scammer on: December 19, 2014, 12:44:26 AM

1713  Other / Meta / Re: Forum 250 Btc theft, what's being done about it? Inside job? on: December 18, 2014, 06:02:31 AM
the guy is dead, leave him alone ... please stop posting such idiotic things and think with at least 2 neurons before.
i knew the guy, he was romanian like me, we was keeping in touch , he was very sick ... let him rest in peace please ...

First of all , I don't think this is theft. That being said, it seems strange to me that he didn't take steps to transfer the coins to someone else after he got sick. I'm not sure how he died, but if people like you knew he was very sick beforehand, it seems a bit irresponsible to have made no plans for what unfortunately ended up happening.

Agreed. Does not look like theft since coins haven't been moved/sold. Just strange to know that you might die from your illness and not take the steps to ensure responsibilities are taken care of.  I guess if you are that sick you could give two shits about the coins, be in denial about how serious the illness is, or created a plan to leave it for the family. Either way shitty, shitty situation.
1714  Economy / Gambling / Re: GetLuckyPoker.com on: December 18, 2014, 05:39:15 AM
You're right to be very cautious.  We still have so much work to do on our site its crazy.  If you make an account please do it through the website.  We haven't gotten that working yet on html5.

We just finishd putting together our affiliates program http://getluckypoker.offerit.com/   25% rakeback.

We also have an HTML5 client located at http://148.251.50.113/html5/

Our owners Mike "the grinder" Mizrachi and Mike Mattusow aren't known to be con artiststs or thieves.

Was skeptical of this information but seems to be true.

"Get Lucky Poker will offer a full downloadable client for Windows machines but will also be available in an HTML5 browser form for OSX and mobile users."

Congrats to you buddy! I have never had any luck with BJ  Wink

I wonder if it is possible to use the counting cards techniques they always talk about in movies and all at on-line casinos.

You can't really count in online casinos. They are continuous shuffle and don't know # of decks
