I think I was lucky to put my picks 18 minutes before the qualifying started this time as I misjudged the starting time of official qualifying which was 19 PM in Europe time and I thought it was 20 PM,so lucky 2 EBP points and one for the pole of Verstappen,it is always nice to start the race with 3 points already in your pocket  . Even Max was managing the tyres. When he pushed he was gaining half of a second per lap. IF nothing happens there will be no competition for the win. I doubt nothing will happen considering the weather conditions were not stable at all yesterday and I doubt that have changed in less than 24 hours.So I am expecting a good race which hopefully will start and not risk to see a SPA of 2021 which happened only 2 laps and the race was considered done after the fans waited there for more than six hours to see that race and that was a big disappointment for them,I hope this will not happen here. Yet I am hoping some light rain to medium rain accompanies the race,the whole race would be wonderful as this would make us see which driver is the best under such conditions and maybe we will see another different winner for this race. |

I might make risky choices in the last 3 weeks for this reason. For example for pole position.

Verstappen won the race which wasn't a surprise. However Norris' pace really impressed me. His start was also effective. These all make think about what he can do in the race tomorrow. If he keeps up this pace he can be one of the biggest candidates for podium. Perez and Hamilton changed roles about performance as well. I wasn't expecting that after watching the recent races. As I told you sprint race here was fun, one of the best tracks for it.
I'm annoyed by this f1 when drivers can't push due tyres managment.
The sprint race prepares us to see a really nice race tomorrow based on the starting grid of the qualifying of yesterday.I only hope that no bullshit of enter before this lap in pit stop is mandatory is in this track as it would be catastrophic in the loss of spectacle if we have it here.The sprint kept us all "breathless" in the final stages where Ricciardo and Piastri hold back real good against their opponents.Norris did also a great race and during 24 laps the gap was only 3.5 seconds to the leader which in the race of tomorrow with a good strategy it can be overcome. |

It was a show of force in tonight main game of Bundesliga between Bayern vs Dortmund where Dortmund clearly lacked the power to answer back to the super aggressive Bayern Munchen way of play which made them win a very important game against a direct opponent.As such I consider Dortmund quite out of the title fight for the moment and so I do also for Leipzig which is shown a huge lack of consistency in their results.
The only team I saw playing entertaining football and winning game after game is Leverkussen which Bayern Munchen could not win at the direct game that was played in Bayern home,this makes me think that they are the only team capable of fighting for the title this year.

I keep going from bad to worse but not that I have ever done good in the pool in these years that I have participated except last year where I won a small prize,double the entry fee and with that I paid this entry free,so as long as I am playing free I can't complain much,I just cannot predict draws,the Sheffield United game was the biggest surprise which is a win after so many lost games for them and I am happy for them although I lost points in the pool.

Hoffenheim has lost only three our of their nine games so far this season, and they have lost twice at home to dortmund, they are currently at the sixth position with eighteen points on the league table, they could be considered average and shouldn't be underestimated.

Strange qualifying session now in Brazil.Leclerc said it best,I have never experienced something like this race in my entire career he said,it looked like it was raining but in fact there was no rain at all referring to the track being extremely slid and Verstappen was once again able to grab a Pole Position although he did not made the fastest lap in this last Q3 session.
In Q2 Lando Norris did 1.10.0 while Verstappen won the Pole with a 1.10.727 and he said it himself that it would be very tight and the cars are very close in this track.I think the surprise are Aston Martin with Lance Stroll in P3 and Alonso in P4 after many races screwing up looks like they have fixed a couple of things.

Things are still well for Atletico Madrid in Group E now maybe. But I think their start is still not convincing enough. Because Atletico Madrid started this season quite impressively. They are doing great in the La Liga. I would like to see the same performance in the Champions League also. They normally have a group which they can finish as leader.
But first the draw against Lazio by a last minute goal and later a draw against Celtic away prevented them from making a stronger start. They could have won against Celtic too actually but that red card pushed them to keep the score instead.
However next time I believe Atletico Madrid will be victorious against Celtic home. This would be important three points for Atletico Madrid before playing the remaining toughest games in the group.
