I have also read later on that Mercedes have brought a new front wing to this race weekend. It might be a good improvement for them to increase the grip more. Because this was the main issue for Mercedes in the Austrian GP last week. We should be seeing improved lap times technically but let's see.
So I was wrong and McLaren is very very strong and starts directly behind Max Verstappen, in an interview Marko himself said he was surprised and had not expected McLaren, but he expects Mercedes and Ferrari to be stronger and is happy to take the buffer McLaren. Mercedes may have tested a little too much and not managed to get the fast lap together, let's see how the new parts work in the long run today. McLaren kept their promise for Silverstone race and the fact that even Piastri who had not been in good form recently was in 3rd place while Norris in 2nd place means that the upgrades truly have worked out. I think it will be difficult for both of the McLaren drivers to be on the podium today but surely Lando with his experience can manage to be at least 3rd while for people blaming Perez me included,he for all of us has a good opportunity to repay us all as we bet on him to be on the top 3 and we make some nice amount of money  . |

Onve again Perez failed to reach Q3 - already 5th time in a row. This time he didn't even managed to get out from Q1. It's not acceptable. Despite it he still have good chances to fight for podium like he did week ago.
Nice to see both Mclaren in Top 3, especially Piastri - I think that not many saw such outcome coming.
Perez should resign himself after such bad performances in a row now,I guess he must have some family problems or personal psychological problems as I cannot explain it otherwise.He is not at such shameful level of performance honestly and I think he is feeling a lot of pressure which is affecting him negatively as his team mate wins constantly,he has as a minimum to change cars,I would love a direct exchange with him and Hamilton or him and Leclerc,the seasons would be much more competitive but I know this is highly unlikely. As for McLaren I imagined Lando would be somewhat at high level but never imagined for 2nd while for Piastri it is his best ever result since he joined F1 and McLaren this year. |

It is not looking possible as at Ferrari they have extended with Sainz and it is a matter of time that Leclerc will extend too if he has already not done so.I would agree with that change though,Hamilton needs to get out of Mercedes and try to win the title,the 8th title but the best team to do it is to go to the one who put Hamilton in F1 the first time,McLaren,speaking of put both drivers in the top three during this qualifier of today and it showed that they truly kept their promise that said in Silverstone you will see a completely new car,I believe they can even further upgrade the car and its performance and once they get hold of it,having a winning car,Lewis should be part of that in the end of his career. |

I guess we can both agree he doesn't have a title winning mentality, and I don't that's what Chelsea is looking but we'll see, I guess. We won't be playing many games next season, so I expect Poch to take advantage of this and make the top4, and if he doesn't, with the quality of players we have at the club, it will be a failure, putting even more pressure on him, as you mentioned. I know they aren't same position but they are connected since they are both English and PL clubs must have them. Poch is a good manager, I just hope Boehly will listen to him and not do stuff his way. I think Poch has already the full trust of Boehly and he will let Poch choose what players see fit,I have not seen any interference so far from him and Poch has been able to conduct his coaching normally.Poch also said that he has a clear idea which players he needs and with such statement I believe he leave no room to Boehly to spend in "vain" again. Jus checked the odds for NBA summer league and I am shocked how bad they are.

Yea, I have read a forum thread on this subject a while ago and I also started to compare the odds between different casinos and it was quite clear that there are some skimming going on... even if it is negligible to some people. (1% to %10) If you are a professional gambler, you will look for the casino with the better odds, so things like this will turn people away from Stake, if they look much deeper into the differences in the odds that are provided. I do not care.... The homeless problem has gotten so much worse since the pandemic. It’s gotten close to home no matter where you live. They’re being provided with free food and encouraged to stay in cities on sidewalks. I’m really not even sure how this problem can be solved. The government seems to be happy with the current situation.
Unfortunately the government is the problem not only of US but of all world.They promise us all kind of sh*t to get our votes and when they do so they do not give the slightest f*ck what is happening with the normal citizens let alone the homeless who for them provide nothing as they do not pay any tax like us normal citizens do by taxing our wages.The fact that the major of L.A has made her utmost priority to house at least 17.000 of them in motels is a good desire more than a reality as these people will do more harm to themselves and motels rather than benefits,it is normal from such people with vices and other things because life has made them so,so we are still at point 0 of our trip. |

It depends on the amount more than the healthy mindset which of course I fully agree with.Let me make you an example from the different lottery we have here,national lotteries,we have both of them running from private companies who are watched by state entities and the people who win the small amount lottery like 25.000-45.000 dollars I have never seen anyone of them going broke for the simple fact that they buy max 1-10 tickets while for the huge lottery which can go up to 700.000 dollars depending on sales I have seen many people claiming that they will do this and that and in fact they all lost it in different casinos,these people most of the time go broke because of not having that healthy mindset.So in the end it depends on the healthy mindset but also on the won amount.

At the end the only one that knows the full story is the OP, as we will need to know more than what we can read there to know if they actually have a problem.
As it is possible they are just the kind of gambler which can afford those kind of high bets without too much of a problem and losing that money does not strain their finances, so as long as they have the money they spend gambling under control then we cannot say they have any problem at all.

And the thing that people often forget is the opportunity cost. The two signings were quite right, which was carried out by PSG, especially in getting these two players, PSG did not spend money because of the player's status as a free transfer player. Rain is expected for one week at least as far as I see from the weather report. It looks like we can have some extra fun with rain in the race. Honestly this is one of the tracks that I like to watch under dry conditions. Because most of the impressive attacks on this track have been made while it has been dry. But rain can still make races more interesting no matter what track it is.
Maybe this is an opportunity to take advantage of for Mercedes as well. If they get prepared for these conditions well they can turn it into an advantage and at least one of their drivers can make it to podium. That driver would most probably be Hamilton. He was on podium in the previous British GP but Verstappen had serious difficulties and couldn't finish in a proper place. Now Hamilton's job will be extra difficult unless Verstappen has a problematic weekend.
It will be quite interesting to be able to watch the race in rainy conditions, especially since several teams have shown their best performance in the previous FP. What's more, I see that in this race Williams managed to show their best side and show that their team is still worthy of competing with top teams like RBR, Ferrari and Mercedes. With the rainy conditions, I want to see how Williams' strategy is to be able to maintain their performance, if they can really maintain their performance, this will be a very exciting race to watch. Driving well into the rain is not something that the team does,it is 100% driver skill that makes a difference especially for teams like Williams who under normal conditions they do not perform like many of us expect them to perform. It is a good thing that the rain will be present during this race as some drivers may find it faster than others that specific track conditions have changed and they can make a game changing move for the race,also the rain can make sure more cars finish out of the track and all of this leads to a better race to watch. |

Mercedes absolutely need to bring some solid upgrade to Silverstone. Because this is the most important race for them in the calendar. A win is very difficult to get maybe but their maint target would be to be on podium at least. Carrying both Mercedes drivers to podium would be just a dream for them as long as the other teams don't mess up things that much. Toto Wolff gave an interview together with Domenicali recently by the way. He emphasized how skillful driver Hamilton is and said that they owe the 8th title to him.
However in the circumstances winning that title is too difficult for Hamilton I'm afraid. He will need to be more patient to have a chance in the future maybe. 2026 season could be a chance maybe depending on the changes to be made then.
In 2026 Hamilton will be 41 if I remember correctly and that age would be a great achievement if he can win a title,it is like Alonso is today and sure Alonso the best overtake of his career he did it in the damage of Hamilton during one of the races of this season so age is not a determining factor. Mercedes will have a huge difficulty bringing both cars to the podium in the race of tomorrow but to clear any doubt I may have I will wait for the official qualifying to finish and see their performance,if it is not good then I am going to place a bet on Mercedes both cars out of top 3 and even out of top 6 I will try. |

Napol had good performances in Serie A and one good reason for these results he got was mostly because of bad and unstable performances from other teams, also Napoli said the champions league because they didn't have Osimhen helping their team like they had before. That's why I don't even expect to see him achieve anything in the next champions league with their new coach.
Napoli were actually the victim of being inexperienced in the Champions League. Otherwise they had such a great potential to do much better than that. The group stage went really amazing for them in fact. They even destroyed Liverpool in one of the matches. But after the group stage they started to stumble. When they faced Milan they technically seemed stronger generally. But Milan were a way more experienced team than them in their history of Champions League adventures.  Even though Napoli seemed dominant in their matches Milan still made it. In short Napoli have gained some experience now and it is up to Rudi Garcia's management to be successful here again. By the way I still call it a success for Napoli about what they did here last season. Of course Napoli had a great success last season by winning the Serie A but the management had already won it by a big margin when they faced Milan in Champions League and between these games they even lost 0-4 to Milan at home in Serie A which angered the management to the maximum level.That is why it was asked to stop collaborating with Spalletti for the upcoming season and some new manager,in this case Rudy Garcia has a lot of burden on his shoulders,which is not to win again the Serie A as that is always an objective in stronger teams in Serie A but to also go further and not to be humiliated like they were in the dual elimination games against Milan. |

I'm looking into using my gpus as stable, remotely controlled source of heat, so what setups most stable do you find? I do autolycos/eth/etc/zilhash on amd. whats up with 1080ti/nvidia? is phoenix still the most stable + vs hash output on dagger-hashimoto /(ethash) what else is there worth engaging with? any interesting chains?
I think there is T-rex miner a specific miner with a huge stability for Nvidia cards,don't know if they still support 1080 ti but 1.5 years from now I was mining with it and it fully supported this card.With anything mentioned there,it all looks gloomy now for miners,no option from what you pointed out is profitable especially with a card which consumes quite a lot of energy,near 200 watt at best performance but it can go much higher depending on the algo you mine.And no I don't know any venture that you can try,I also have Nvidia cards and I have put them all in Nicehash to mine and be paid in Bitcoin,if you don't like they have a built in converter to many coins,so that is what I do now but no,no profitable coins or chains around so far. |
