1721  Economy / Gambling / Re: The History Of Gambling. on: October 03, 2022, 11:41:54 PM

I had a friend that used to be an introvert, he doesn't join us in conversations but it doesn't mean that he doesn't enjoy the conversations. When we discuss odds and betting he will keep mute and other of my friends were not happy at that as they see him pretending to be a Saint. Whenever we have winnings we will announce and go drinking with part of the money. Unknown to us that our introvert friend bets online and wins big.
He called me one day and showed to be, I was very shocked and then I kept it to myself without letting the other of my friends know. Online gambling can actually save you alot and including privacy.
Online gambling gives the privacy than any other form of gambling. This happens everywhere and I too have done it. Not as a saint, but I used to give advice to stay within the limits. The funny part, the same day my loss will be higher than the one I give advice. As they don't know I was into gambling they take it good. If they know about my gambling activity, surely they'll have a negative thought on me.
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: Electricity bills worth 500,000 euros: a hotel chain closes down in Italy. on: October 03, 2022, 11:35:34 PM
The increase in the electricity charges were due to the oil price increase. Most of the western nations have been experiencing it. In our country for political reasons the price hasn't been increased for a long providing subsidies and now after a long the price have been increased. If this has been increased over the years in a gradual way, this couldn't have affected much.

The need for renewable energy have come and countries have begun to focus much on it than depending on oil.

After the huge 2-1 road win to Southampton $20 Everton Cash Drop was availed with the total drop limit of $25000. This time the wager requirement is low, $2500 wagered in the last 7 days and I missed it even though I fulfilled all requirements. How many of you got lucky to claim the bonus.
1724  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation in Germany hits double digits for the first time since WWII on: October 02, 2022, 11:59:20 PM
More sad story about Inflation, top nations are battling the current global inflation now imagine what a third world country is going through right now.
Germany is part of the countries in Europe that have experienced a good economy for a long time, I have always had much respect for the leadership of the country and how policy are made by the government. So if it had gotten to the stage in the country inflation crises then its a matter of time before more policies are made to tackle it. I would love to see a country that tackles inflation without making life more difficult for its citizens. Probably with the global economic meltdown and inflation taking over leaders would look into a more digital currency approach.
World's grown nations experiencing the worst, what'll be the situation of the third world countries. More third world countries on the edge. Situations same as that we encountered with Sri Lanka can happen. From the covid-19 the country seems to experience its hard days as majority of its economy is dependent over the automobile industry. Germany's workers shortage is also considered as a major reason for the economic situation.
1725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen If Bitcoin got stabled ? on: October 02, 2022, 11:55:41 PM
Possible outcomes if Bitcoin turns to be stable

  • Look for some alternatives for investment
  • The interest over bitcoin will reduce
  • Real-time usage on stores will increase
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 02, 2022, 11:51:31 PM

Mens tennis is currently much better and we can see the future there,so many good young players even with Alcaraz above everyone currently someone will show up. While women tennis dosent look promising at all . Swiatek looks currently like she will dominated for years to come with no actual competition

Swiatek is currently the best on the women side but I don't think she will be able to dominate the field in a similar way that like Serena Williams did. There are some young and upcoming players (i.e. Raducanu) and on the women side always a lot more surprises happen in grandslams than on the men side.
I don't think so too, especially in women's tennis, it's somehow really hard for one or two players to maintain the spot on top of the leader board and dominate most tournaments they participate in, Serena Williams was an exception, I doubt Swiatek can do as good as Serena.
Men sports is obviously much better than women - that is true
But some of the women tennis stars have made their name because they came so far. Like only one tennis player Sania Mirza has made her mark in the tennis history.
But then again I agree men's sport is always better
Sania Mirza is the one to bring tennis to limelight in India and throughout her career she is the No.1 Indian Tennis player and during the peak of her career in 2007 she managed to reach 27th World rank and no other women players from India is able to reach it. There are more young players, and we should also think the difference in competence between the year 2007 and 2022.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing and the casino business. on: October 02, 2022, 11:43:56 PM
The thing is, it's not easy to invest in these entities unless you have millions to use as a capital for investment. They'd probably focus more on the big fishes to keep on funding their platform rather than small timers like us to give them a steady stream of funding. While on paper, with these numbers included, it is a no-brainer to invest on these platforms, in practice (especially crypto gambling platforms) your investment can only last for a few months before it gets used up by the casino as a payout for their winners.
This is probably why investing in casinos is only for rich men in the country because it’s only them that they can fund sufficiently and will become sustainable after a long duration. Of course, big capital, huge returns. The reason why these big fishes continue to become richer and prosper, because there are definitely huge profits waiting for them in casinos investments. The thing which, regular investors won’t be hard to achieve because they don’t have sufficient funds for casinos investments.
Agreed, casino investment is much for the rich than the common people. There'll be ways, but to explore and making an investment is risky. Investment on Casinos will be always profiting. Maybe there'll be small difference between the monthly gains. Some of our firms too have investment opportunity for everyone, but the profit in terms of interest is very low.
1728  Other / Off-topic / Re: R.I.P Asian Football World : Indonesia on: October 02, 2022, 11:39:17 PM
I wonder which policy will prevail regarding the use of tear gas or what FIFA refers to as "crowd control gas"? This isn't the first time Indonesian police used such method to disperse a large and violent crowds. I'd assume they are legally allowed to do so if the situation escalated to a riot.
This have turned to be a riot, but police could've controlled it in a better way. Also there is a need of change in the stadium architecture, because in most of the ground the pathways were very narrow and something unexpected leads into massive disaster. It is big mistake that the police fired tear gas and the death is out of the stampede.

1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Happy 62nd independence to all Nigeria Bitcoiners on: October 01, 2022, 07:33:00 AM
Happy Independence Day to all the Nigerian Bitcointalk users. The country have got independence from the colonial masters, but the people of Nigeria weren't enjoying the real independence. From the source it is astonishing to see 27% of the population into cryptocurrency usage. In all aspects slowly cryptocurrency usage is bringing freedom to the people who are getting used to it. For now the country needs freedom from the corruption, and the same can be made possible through blockchain technology. Hope the country with lot of resources grow good.
1731  Economy / Gambling / Re: Odds like 1xbet on: October 01, 2022, 07:17:22 AM
Once after experiencing a block from the parent platform, why don't you find something that is more trusted. Again you've made your games into the parent child, more than that what you've mentioned is the clone. To get support from those platforms is a tedious task. Atleast by then onwards keep your gambling activities on trusted sites. Almost every platform have the similar odds and all that sites you've mentioned weren't part of the trusted list with cryptocurrency acceptance.

I also play in trustable sites but I miss 1xbet odds, I wish some trusted sites add same odds to their website so all users who have been blocked from 1xbet can play without any issue.
Here is the odds comparison between 1xbet and a trusted platform. What is the difference, very minor difference is there between the odds. So, for mere variation don't get into risking on platforms in which you've experienced some awful situation.

These kind of cryptocurrency acceptance as payment is getting all around. The acceptance of bitcoin as payment from different such companies surely help with the increasing real-time usage of bitcoin and also lets people know about bitcoin. Same time it is to be noted, very few companies get into direct acceptance of cryptocurrency without a support provider like Bit2Me, and such change need to happen for the more effective adoption of bitcoin.
1734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 01, 2022, 05:35:59 AM
Here it is about the wealthy father who have allowed his son to enjoy what he have earned. Parenting needs to show the kids what is right and what is wrong. Some feel gambling to be entertaining, because they've got money to have fun. But the same doesn't suit all levels of people. Look at the thread Woman Abandons 4-year-old Child In Gambling Shop As Collateral After Huge Losses which is kind of an addiction that the rich ones won't experience because money isn't a concern.
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 01, 2022, 04:15:22 AM
I watched today's match completely, I am totally disappointed, I thought Pakistan can do better, Pakistan's batting was very good, but Pakistan's bowlers bowled very badly. It is really a shame for Pakistan. England batsmen were able to play the Pakistani bowlers very easily, they had no confusion to play the Pakistani bowlers. England batsmen played well. England played very well so England deserved to win today's match England batsmen gave a very good performance, Pakistan scored 169 for 6 in 20 overs and set England a target of 170 runs. England achieved the target by two wickets in 16 overs.

I would not say that Pakistan's batsmen performed very well. Babar Azam was unbeaten on 87 runs. Besides, Iftikhar Ahmed scored 31 runs. Moreover, none of Pakistan's batsmen could play well. Pakistan could have easily collected 185-190. The pitch was not bowling-friendly.
The performance of Pakshikhani bowlers was very bad. England's two openers had more than 200 strikes on the night. Phil Salt scored 88 runs off 41 balls. Pakistani bowlers gave 50 runs in the first 3 overs. After 3 overs it was pretty clear that Pakistan was going to lose the match.
However the seven match series had turned more interesting with the win of England. Yeah, the team is dependent on few players and their fail completely stops the scoring of the team. From the bowling end, one who bowled well weren't able to keep the form. Dahani and Jamal had a whooping economy of 16.5 and 15 runs per over which needs to be lowered.

This is the extreme of gambling addiction. These kind of stories can be seen on movies in which two persons love a girl, but the girl loves the hero. The other one keep on disturbing the girl and to end this they'll make some fights or games where collateral is the girl. If Hero wins the girl belongs to him or else Hero need to leave her. These kind of movie scenes to a reason for such kind of act from the Women who have addicted keeping his son as collateral.

Siraj replaces Bumrah for last two South Africa T20Is

I am not sure this was the right decision. He last played against Srilanka this year in February and he is better in the Test matche & ODI. They could have opted for other bowlers. I also think that it would be better to continue with the same bowlers that India had in the first T20 for the rest of the series.

Source
It seems like the team doesn't want to end up more players getting injured. Maybe thats the reason why Siraj is given opportunity for the last two T20's. Based on the performance after few months of gap might get him shortlisted for the World Cup squad in the place of Bumrah.
1738  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: September 29, 2022, 11:47:02 PM
We break above weekly average on BTC today, its failed to do so on every other attempt previously in the last few weeks.    Holding a good average like that can lead to gains reversing prior loss, even if only short term that can amount to as much as a 20% gain very nice trade for most assets and worth watching.
I think 19.2k trading above and holding this for the next 24hr into close of the week should lead to out size gains over the usual back and forth.
As you've predicted the price made a good move above 19.2k, and the following day the price went high around $20300 which is a good move. The market is still around $19.5k which seems to be fair. For now we're heading towards the month end. So, how the market gonna turn??
1739  Economy / Economics / Re: Flood causing economics crises on: September 29, 2022, 11:41:03 PM

We have faced something like that, and even though we are still facing the troubles of those days, we at least managed to survive it as humanity. Pandemic caused lockdowns and staying at home, but people who had to leave their homes for work reasons did so with care, and even though millions died around the world, we have seen humanity survive.

This means that flood, earthquake, pandemic, epidemic, or whatever else the world could throw at us, we could survive it as humanity. The only difference is being ready versus not ready, if you are not ready like we weren't for pandemic, then we are going to face inflations and recessions and many other economical problems.
Last two year were disaster in every way - there were  sickness and deaths and war and floods and famine and hunger
I don't know what these warlords are doing to world - enough damage has already been made. THe world need healing and that too on urgent bases
Almost every part of the world have experienced some difficulty. To overcome the same it needs time, and the healing won't happen in a short. One by one hit the world, pandemic made a global impact. Even now covid-19 crisis is going around. Further the same caused people loss jobs and lifestyle difficulties. Later the food shortage out of war. The oil price hike that landed in the price increase of each and everything. Now floods in many part of the world is making big damage to the economy. However the work from home keeps the economy to some level without much lag.
1740  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: September 29, 2022, 09:30:03 AM
If the ruling government is good enough to fulfill all the requirements of the common people, then I'll follow what is being enforced by the government and change my mind for sure. This won't happen with most of the governments and that makes me gamble as my wish. Governments get the revenue from the taxation, but the same tax isn't used for the people in the right way. Majority of the funds go into the pockets of politicians.
