1721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a unwanted child, people wants to hold fiat on: September 19, 2014, 09:14:17 AM
Bitcoin ecosystm is not building up overnight. The merchants are lacking tipping points to keep bitcoin payment. They have to pay bills with fiat. The big mining farms have to cash out some portion of bitcoin to pay electricity, rent, upgrading cost etc. Even the price drops down a lot, they have to dump their holding. When the time comes, every individuals will be happy to keep bitcoin and pay bitcoin for all the expenses. I hope it will be soon.

比特币协议和区块链 以数字的方式来让人们来信赖他,以及带转账的匿名,便宜的费用,这不都是实实在在的带给人们的功能吗?这不算价值,那算什么?

1728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Reddit Could Use Bitcoin to Become a Decentralized Media Platform on: September 18, 2014, 03:31:56 AM
doubt it will succeed. The content creators are incentivised by the tips before publishing their contents. Scammers may arise to get donations from innocents, which will affect the reputation of Reddit.

All of the investments carry some level of risk, including bank deposit. I support such kind of investment earning BTC interests, unless you can control you risk and tolerate losing all your investment.

1736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and recurring transactions: How to solve pay up front? on: September 06, 2014, 04:36:14 AM
Quote
Proving you have funds to another party.  You'd like to commission a painting, but to ensure you aren't screwed over, you don't want to pay 50% up front. What methods could be used to place your bitcoin in escrow so that the other party would know it was there and available for them to retrieve? This one may almost definitely require a third party, but I am open to ideas.
I think muti signature can solve this problem. A feature in my mind can be created like a contract, which you put the whole amount of BTC in the contract address. The other party feel comfortable to see fund is there. After the party finishes the job, then you sign the contract with your private key then the fund will be released to the other party.
1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin To the Moon, A Global Strategy on: September 03, 2014, 11:20:13 AM
Bitcoin is merely a speculating tool now.
It will stay on earth without the support from local goverment.
Government's support is critical to the success of BTC. It needs to little regulations to make sure the BTC related start up company and merchants, who accept BTC payment, accomply with the law.
1738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Could Make ATM Skimmers a Thing of the Past on: September 03, 2014, 09:22:56 AM
I think BTC is easy to find ways to avoid such kind of scam comparing with the ATM. It is decentralised and anonymous.
