No, it was something you could purchase separately.
Could you ask if he opted in for the MPP?
1722  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 21, 2014, 11:26:06 PM
Oh, wait a minute. (Lightbulb)

Could it be they are going around the customers with the MPP agreement?

Did Batch 2 get an MPP [included]?
1723  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 21, 2014, 11:15:41 PM
so, they are officially shipping now?
So far...no....?

If you are a Batch 1 customer AND paid with USD then, yes.
If you are a Batch 1 customer AND paid with BTC then, no.
If you are a 'backorder' (Batch 2?) AND paid with BTC or USD then, yes.

HashFast feel free to correct me if I am wrong on any points. Oh wait, you are being silent about everything.
1724  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: January 21, 2014, 07:03:48 PM
So, hashfast has sent no shipping news? Niether informed anyone of what the ETA for there machine is?
I have way too much invested in this obvious scam, I feel stupid and could have invested my money much better then this, to add insult to injury I've paid for shares in a GB, one with USD and one with BTC. The one unit we purchased in BTC I paid USD for my shares  and the one we bought off someone else who paid in USD I paid in BTC now the GB organizer wants to pay me back in USD for all my shares be we will have to litigate against HF to get our money back.
BTW the GB organizer should make about 10k USD off this deal if they win

Lesson, trust nobody and believe nothing....

Anyone interested in buying my shares PM me Smiley

Vacated their CES booth due to pitchfork attacks.

I'd say they're communicating quite well.

Hell, the only thing left for them to do is ship out all their orders from the US Post Office in Locust, North Carolina.
Tell me the story behind the red?

My quasi-humorous post stems from the following:

Rumor goes that they manned it for the first day only and they left on the second day. The guys next to that booth were aware that HF has a "a lof of angry customers", so that could be the case for them deciding to leave.
<< -- Feigns ignorance.

@ PG

Why, oh why in the world would they be afraid of confronting their own customers? Did they not complete on their end of the contract? (A refund or a Baby Jet)?

Hmmm, one wonders....
1725  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: public record, case 13LA09619 won against BFL on: January 21, 2014, 06:58:15 PM
Nothings changed. They haven't overturned the case against them after almost a month.

Strike while the iron is hot.

I've hashed it and i will release the file once that this is all over so that you will either be surprised or have a good laugh at me Wink
What is your definition of this being "all over?"
My money back, a correct compensation, or a penal proceeding starting against them as individuals.

I guess that "everyone" received this:

Quote
Dear Davide,

We wanted to confirm with you that you received the refund check that we sent you last week.  If you did not receive it, please let me know at your earliest opportunity at [refunds@hashfast.com].  If you believe you received a refund check in error, please contact us and do not cash it.

We have been asked by a few refund check recipients if they will receive additional amounts.  To be clear, please take notice: THE CHECK YOU RECEIVED CONSTITUTES PAYMENT IN FULL AND FINAL SATISFACTION OF ALL OBLIGATIONS OF HASHFAST TO YOU.  CASHING OR OTHERWISE OBTAINING PAYMENT OF THIS CHECK WILL CONSTITUTE AN AGREEMENT ON YOUR PART THAT HASHFAST HAS SATISFIED ALL OF ITS OBLIGATIONS TO YOU, AND WILL CONSTITUTE A WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL FURTHER CLAIMS THAT YOU HAVE OR MAY HAVE AGAINST HASHFAST, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIM THAT HASHFAST OWES YOU A GREATER REFUND, A DIFFERENT REFUND, AND/OR ANY OTHER AMOUNTS, WHETHER DUE BECAUSE OF SHIPPING DELAYS, EXCHANGE RATES, OR FOR ANY OTHER REASON.

Thank you,

Customer Support

I got this from wikipedia

Quote
In Sweden and Finland, meteorologists use a definition for the seasons based on the temperature. Spring begins when the daily averaged temperature permanently rises above 0°C, summer begins when the temperature permanently rises above +10°C, summer ends when the temperature permanently falls below +10°C and winter begins when the temperature permanently falls below 0°C. "Permanently" here means that the daily averaged temperature has remained above or below the limit for seven consecutive days. This implies two things: first, the seasons do not begin at fixed dates but must be determined by observation and are known only after the fact; and second, a new season begins at different dates in different parts of the country.

so it would be entirely possible to have a different summer dates to the US

Wow! If this definition isn't restricted to meteorologists that makes for quite some fuzzy timetables.
It is confined to reality.

People are the ones who made up time tables which may or may not match up with actual [sustained] weather patterns.

If you have traveled the world, especially in the airforce, it should be pretty apparent. Considering our BFL friends' attitude, he was probably down below servicing toilets to notice the change.

You mean discounting the fact that Hashfast is less late than KnC is at the moment?  KnC promised summer delivery and didn't ship until the middle of October.

you realize right Sweden summer is at a different time of year then USA right.

Hum, solstices and equinoxes happen at the same time everywhere and mark the start of the same season for every place in the same hemisphere... Last time I looked the USA and Sweden were both north of the equator. Did one of them happen to travel to the south?
Thats why it was a brisk 20 degrees in Fukushima Japan on March 11, 2011 and it was called Winter locally.

Yet in the USA it was a warm 70 to 85.

You didn't realize it was still winter over there....until you heard all of the reports of people "freezing" due to all their Japanese reactors going offline in the middle of pretty cold weather. That and the radioactive steam that was pluming out of the newly destroyed structures causing radioactive snow.

As an impartial observer in this situation,

If asked, he might be willing to try to talk to the Hashfast management, if only to try to get them to communicate with their buyers. He has a much better chance of doing so than any of you. I know it's not how these things normally work, but both companies and Hashfast's customers could stand to gain from a bit of pragmatism.

How about it, Josh?

Bugger that, at no point now or in the future should BFL talk to Scamfast.
Last thing we need is josh to infect castro with his mystical pony land ideas
If its going to be anyone it should be KNC. if you love em or hate em least they got rigs out the door without to much delay

@ Bick

Can you post that thread where you collect all the BFL product failures and complaints from customers?

It would be helpful if people could see that info directly from the customers themselves.

1734  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 600 GH Bitcoin Mining Card The Monarch BPU 600 C on: January 20, 2014, 06:21:35 AM
The other 49k simply lost BTC or ended up with a financial brick (not made of gold).

It's true that not everyone complains. Not everyone goes online to file a complaint. Most of it is done through emails that the company regularly does not respond to for weeks or even months...sometimes never.

Don't believe it?

Go read their forums:

https://forums.butterflylabs.com/post-sales-customer-service/

-------------------------

As for the reason why you don't see even more complaints. The people who run BFL forums have placed very restrictive controls on how people sign up. Even up to moderating many newbie post(s) until they are sure people won't post something negative about the company. Therefore there is a lot of posts that simply never show up.

For a company that has well over 50,000 customers....you'd assume there would be more traffic.

Sign up, and see how they review your posts before you can actually post it and have it committed live. Even folks with legitimate claims and anger can't post. I think someone even mentioned that they also restrict PM's between members. Unsure if that is actually true. But it wouldn't surprise me if so(or anyone).

What you see is just the tip of the iceberg.

If you are looking for an ASIC miner...look at another company and be successful at mining. Ask members what they think is a good mining company to buy hardware from. And most importantly how long it will take you to receive the miner in your hands. In that respect, don't believe a single thing BFL tells you.
1735  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: -- Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: January 20, 2014, 06:05:07 AM
Wow,
It's amazing, but he is literally trying to fool people with a psychological game.

Just linking to the BFL run forums should be enough to dispel any BS he can even begin to type.

Those are paying customers, flip through the pages and you'll see what people think as actual customers.

If he is here trying to pull the wool over people eyes, that means he is trying to secure new newbies who don't know anything about them.
1736  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: -- Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: January 20, 2014, 05:23:44 AM
The bigger conundrum is that there are [probably] no types of customers that like BFL. Even if you are dumb enough to pay for a Monarch..you'll still be discontent. You will not recieve it on time. It will probably not match the original specs and underperform. It will probably break a day or a week into using it (countless reports).

So what kind of customer does BFL want?

The employees probably love BFL...wait....nevermind, some of them apparently post on reddit and call the company....less than desirable.

Shit....who's left? The principles of the company probably love the money....probably hate their own customers though.
1737  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: -- Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: January 20, 2014, 05:13:30 AM
Dummies are welcome at BFL.

Intelligent rational individuals, will of course, be repelled by logic, facts and intelligent decision making.

Gbx, you are too intelligent to come into his inner circle. You need to accept their lies first, then you may enter "the fold".

============================

When Inaba tells you his company is less than a month late on their deliveries....

A) You should believe this Bullshit. Then make a payment for a sparkling Monarch.

B) Investigate if this is true.

C) Investigate and then call him out on his bullshit, publicly, in front of everyone.

D) Go to the BFL forums and see all the amazing reviews people are purported to have with "everything that is" BFL. (Bring your dowsing rod if you are still unsure)

1738  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: -- Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: January 20, 2014, 05:07:42 AM

I'm sorry if you've missed it before when I've clearly stated it, but if you are running away because of my posts, that is good.

You are not the type of customer we want.

We want customers capable of rationally assessing a situation and being able to extract the truth from the lies.
Modified for readability.

In other words, you can become a customer IF when he tells you a lie, you can't determine the truth.

Or inversely

You can't become a customer if when he tells you a lie, you can determine the truth [of the matter].

Assume everything he tells you is a lie, then work you way from there. Determine what is true, where he is lying, then you will know if you want to purchase from him (or his company).

If you are running away because of my posts, you are not in that category and we do not want you as a customer.
You will require way too much hand holding and attention, eventually costing more to keep you as a customer though your unrealistic expectations and unreasonable requests than you generate in revenue.
We highly encourage you to seek out our competition and inflict yourself upon them at your earliest opportunity.

Modified for readability.
1739  Economy / Services / Re: Butter Bot!: New Bitstamp, BTC-E, and MtGox EMA Trading Platform on: January 20, 2014, 03:42:48 AM
@ Pablo

You once mentioned that ButterBot takes about 160 or 165 SMA samples to generate the first EMA value. I have tried various amounts but never seem to be able to replicate the exact same EMA values as butterbot.

Could you ask around about this?

I am compiling a Month to Month Minute accurate excel sheet to distribute on the forum so we can run various kinds of math against the past. But so far I am having a hard time replicating the ButterBot EMA samples. (I'd like it to match the real butter rather than be an approximation).
1740  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: -- Butterfly Labs New 600GH "Mining Card" - RED FLAGS?!?! on: January 19, 2014, 08:52:29 PM
HAHAHA!! Josh honorable??? That is a good one.

That whole charge back thing was great a few months ago.
For those that don't know.

BFL customers went after the company through the executive office at PayPal.
PayPal customers apparently charged back their refunds after BFL refused to give them one in emails.
PayPal customers got their hands on at least a quarter of a million dollars. Maybe up to several multiples of that.
The best speculation we have to date, is probably that BFL's PayPal Merchant account was seized and frozen.
Most funds that were successfully returned likely came from the (purported) frozen account and it's remaining funds.

Frankly, BFL no longer maintains the ability to charge credit cards through PayPal or it's website.

Some would say, that in an effort to stem the discontent. BFL offered 65nm ASIC customers the chance to upgrade their undelivered orders to a 28nm "pre-order" product called "Monarch".

The Monarch product is now 3 months behind schedule.
The previous 65nm product was 1 year+ delayed in bulk shipments.
