1741  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice for new users regarding CLOUD MINING on: November 24, 2014, 04:24:56 AM
This seems like a good thread to post my genesis vs gaw comparisons. I signed up with both of them 4-5 days ago around the same time. I bought a 2 MH with Genesis and a 1 MH with GAW to compare them before I spent some real money. Genesis is giving me around 8 cents a day and ive got a total of 40 cents from them in this time. I expected this.

GAW has been far worse. FAR WORSE. in the 4-5 days I have been with them I have 2 cents total. Not only that but the fees from GAW are eating away ALL of my profits. check these GAW payouts

BTC Payout
    0.00020793 BTC
Maintenance Fee
    -0.00020792 BTC

That is a huge problem. fees are taking the profits. I did not signup for that and I dont expect GAW to get any better. While genesis payments have decreased a tad they are still way better. I have not tried any other cloud mining companies yet. I was going to try a few more but after my experience with GAW i just dont know.

I'm still here.  Been busy with life.  I'll update the OP when I get a chance, but the main point of the thread was to serve as a warning rather than an advertisement for various cloud sites.  Anybody who has interest in buying these services is probably reading the last couple of pages of the thread anyways.
It is smart to start very small to see how much you can get. Cheap Ghs, safe company and low maintenance fees is the winning combination but if the company is well established you will get higher prices

That is why you gotta try www.cloudmining.website (0.001 BTC/Ghs), www.cloudminer.io (0.0014 BTC/Ghs), www.hashie.io (4.59 USD/Ghs) etc. where u can actually have some profit.

Lower price with higher risks sometimes means a better chance to ROI. Cloudminer is very new but going strong; hashie is interesting if the price of BTC rises

I'm not sure whether OP checks this thread anymore. I think, these new 3 are to be included in OP's list...

Well there we have it ladies and gentleman the person who started this post has checked in. I do see they did not say anything just kinda posted so we would see them here. I have not checked the 1st page to see if they updated the list of good cloud mining sites and the ones weeded out to be scams
1742  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 24, 2014, 03:12:58 AM
so if i read last few post correct then, if btc is lets say at like $600 for example. Does this mean we would be getting dividend payouts of like .00001300 per GHS or am i assuming wrong. Once again i am makin up number not saying will be that on the dot lol so please dont cook me alive saying my math is of or blah blah blah haha  Grin

No.  Bitcoin value on has an effect on the maintenance fee as that is converted from dollars to bitcoin and subtracted by the earnings.  The earnings are calculated as follows:

The payout rate before fee subtraction is 25 / (difficulty * 4.295) BTC per unit per second.  <--no dollars in calculaltion

P.S. I won't "cook you alive" about your math but your spell check is off too.

LOL well thank you for advice/ input appreciate it. The spelling will never be good or proper will be good about 85% of time i say as english is my second language and i dont do translate service.

Now I'm interested in the phrase "cook me alive".  How do you say it in your native language; it certainly isn't something we use in the English language.

lol i would say "jodas la vida fuera de mí con preguntas "

-snip-

Hello
here are mine  for a gen1 plus 60GH amhash (could not find a more detailled  view )

Type   payout
Amount   0.02012224
Time   2014-11-23 00:00:36
Earnings   0.03713804
Electricity   0.01701580
Hashpower (GH)   2976.03

Do u mean that u have got 0.02012224BTC from 2976.03Ghs in 24 hour ? That is effectively 54.18% of the theoretical yield 0.03713806BTC...

That's correct .

if that is correct and i will take your word for it that it is until someone says otherwise with proof. I will say it is pretty much in line with other service i use hashnest.com i think as of time me writting this was at 52.75% pay after the fees. I would like to see fees below 25% on all services if possible but need stronger btc i guess
1745  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 24, 2014, 12:35:58 AM
buy s2, it is the same umisso
how are s2 same as umisoo? i thought if anything closest thing to umisoo was going to be the s3 at best. Unless you are referring to the s2 being the same to umisoo in the price comparison cause i really cant see it being the same when it comes to maintanance fees i figure s2 would be higher. I still am waiting for hashnest to offer cloud scrypt mining would be awsome. Smiley

LOL well then i leave for a few hours to get some beers and come back to full shit storm. I can sense the productivity and love on a next level haha. Well i do hope if there is actual reason for negative stuff please do say why before i drop btc into this would be helpful as i am poor person. thanks again
1748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advice for new users regarding CLOUD MINING on: November 22, 2014, 07:37:14 PM
Nobody has mentioned AMHash yet.

It's ASICMiners cloud mining service so you can be sure it's not a ponzi.
1 Gh/s costs < 1.2mBTC
Maintenance fee of $0.00163 per Gh/s per day.
Contracts can be traded on Havelock.

yeah i am trying out amhash1 on havelock got me a few small ghs just to get my feet wet. I think it is by far the best similarity to cex.io trading platform i can think of and i really like cex.io trading platform and how they show you like hash rate on ghash pool. Maybe havelock will do that show live hash rate just for information. Does anyone know if havelock offers scrypt mining contracts?
1749  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 22, 2014, 07:31:59 PM
i got to say seeing fee at 52% maint when the btc price is $355 is a bit better than what it was before they made the fee changes. I wonder that the fees will be at if btc is like $450 or $500. In any case i really wish they would finish the umisoo sell so they can open market up so we can buy and trade between users
1750  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Hashie.co - Cloud Mining from 0.0012 BTC / GH | NEW: AMHash | FREE 10 GH on: November 22, 2014, 07:27:23 PM
i have not seen problem with my hashie payment but then again i still only have the 10 free GHS. I want to make sure they paying out good and waiting for other people to post on the experiences before i drop my btc in.
1751  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 22, 2014, 07:25:48 PM
You receive dividends every single day,but they have obviously a problem to pay in time on saturdays,no problems on other days.
SO this is my 2nd Saturday with havelock investments on the amhash1 shares. I find it weird they have a problem on Saturdays and like you said no problems on other days. I wonder if mayber they just hung over from Friday night party life lol. In any case come on guys fix the weekend pay issues and also please ADD TEXT SMS 2FA for people like me who dont have windows phones pr androids or iphones to get apps would be good.
1752  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 21, 2014, 10:00:55 PM
New dividend payout is 0.00000784. Lower day by day. Any idea why?

Beside the exchange rate affecting the maintenance fee, that's how mining works. If you had 1 GH/s and the network hash rate was 100 Gh/s you would have 1% of the network hash rate. Around 3600 BTC are mined each day, so if you controlled 1% of the network you would receive 1% of that 3600 BTC. Now if the network increased to 200 GH/s you would only control 0.5% of the network hash rate and would receive 0.5% of the 3600 BTC.

So, if the network hash rate increases, your payout decreases.

Interestingly, it appears the hash rate is dropping.  Difficulty is at 40.3B and while there is still 12 days before the next revision, if it happened today it would drop to 37.1B.  Yesterday the estimate was 38B.  Not sure what is going on, and it can certainly change, but this is the first time I have seen such a drop.  Even in an estimate.
I think i have seen a drop before of 17% or 16% i really do not recall when it was. I am a old man lol so memory not so good but it was a few years ago. I really would not mind a little drop in dificulty rise for one cycle hell even for two cycles. Maybe people are shutting down minners for xmas lights so house dont burn down Tongue
1753  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 21, 2014, 08:12:49 PM
Did the new fee structure hit yet?

2014-11-21 00:06:19    -0.0083698    1.0695362  BTC    Mining    Maintenance Fee: AntminerS2
2014-11-21 00:06:19    +0.0115744    1.0779061  BTC    Mining    Earnings: AntminerS2

That means I only had a profit of 30% meanwhile it should be more along the lines of 50%.

they lowered the fees only for UMISO hardware if i understood right...
If i understood correctly i thought the fees was lowered was for all products. If this is not correct can someone please confirm, i seen the price drop but then again i only have UMISO hashing so i cant speak for other products. I would not see why they only lower fees for one product and not the other maybe they trying to sell all umisoo so they can open market for us Smiley
1754  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: November 21, 2014, 04:55:38 AM
i really dont know what the difficulty rise will be in the future. I really dont remember where i had seen it sometime earlier in the day. I seen a website that had prediction based off current data and showed next rise in 13 days to be at 4.7%. Once again i dont recall the site or even if they was legit or just spitting random numbers

If bitcoin stays at US$350, the AMHash mining contract will end when the Network hashing rate hits 750 Ph/s - it would be nice to have a crystal ball so we know when that will be.

time to get the speed to go down lol, hope bitcoin goes back up after the holidays. I was happy when it was flirting with $400 price range. I think it needs to go up in price or difficulty will come to stand still maybe discouraging new people from Joining since wont be worth their time or money

Why are you being so defensive bitcoinnoisseur?

All These threads have been stating is that in any postings about GAW that come from these mythical media companies that will be doing stories on them, the fixation of the level of formal educational honor's given?  Not the most effective or useful arguement to make on it.   There are Plenty of better arguements.    The arguement can be made, but the target audience, there is going to be a % of people that resonates with someone when they are being critiqued on their educational level.   Thus not very effective propoganda.

I don't look at records, I get to listen to my wife complain about people who can't figure out basic requirements and call when information is readily and freely available in multiple ways and forms.   So my wife isn't legally causing issues, though I love how you want to try and make it an issue of law.    So cute!  My wife?  Yes, she has a degree, and I'm happy for her.   Degree's are not bad things, they are just not holy writ nor should they be treated as such.    Eventually, she will make more then me because of it, I hope, and then maybe I can enjoy life as a kept man!  It would be nice.

I already said that examples to the contrary are in the minority, so why are you so fixated on this irrationally Bit?  Seriously.   Step back, read all the threads again, and break out of the OCD trance of rejecting any statement that doesn't fit your internal narrative of being attacked by me.

I made logical statements based on what I know. You turned it into an "Education isn't important" discussion for all the other completely irrelevant things you listed. I'm done.
sometimes people can do good things in life without have 1 or 2 8 year diplomas. Book smarts add to the knowledge you get from street smarts its not all bad and some thing you learn by yourself. I got a friend who has a big mechanic shop in California and dude just finished 9th grade. All the knowledge he got was from watching his dad work on cars during spare time. Then again going to college does not mean you will be top game i know 1st hand people who have graduated 6 / 8 year degree from good ivy colleges. Three of them are flipping burgers for last 2 years. To finish off if Having a piece of paper is that important then i for one hope Josh has like 5 dr degree cause i would hate to think someone who did not even go to high school milked millions of dollars for who knows how many people

The piece of paper is worthless just like a marriage license. An education or a marriage is only worth what you put in. Sure many bullshit degrees are basically handed out to students that just paid and showed up to class but at least they did that much. I hate to tell you but there's no such thing as street smarts. That's an oxymoron. If you're on the streets, you're not smart. Trust me that i learned that directly from the mouths of people that made hundreds of thousands on and in the streets. It's a no win proposition. Finally as a few have noticed here, I NEVER said you can't be intelligent nor did I say you can't be successful without a college education. I do feel though that you can not ever be successful without a proper education. Granted proper is a loose term BUT a proper education can be taught by anyone in any subject be it auto-mechanics or mechanical engineering. There is SO much to learn and the more you know, the more you know you don't know. I agree that the American Educational system is failing but to not partake in it because of that and think that you'll be better off is nothing less than foolish. Education and knowledge are still the very thing that can set you free no matter who you are or where you are and it is something everyone should strive for.
AMEN i can agree with 90% of that. I recall last year when my kids teacher who was in 2nd grade called me to a teacher / parent chat to let me know i need to lay off my kid. I guess my kid told them i was forcing them to learn how to count money without a phone and making them learn to multiply. Sometimes i wish i can send my kids to kids in like japan, i love my country i have gave 6 years to military. Just the education is going down hill hard core. Ok back to Daddy Josh now lol

what on earth are you talking about " abuse " they need to lower the sell fees period. It is hard to abuse something where you cant even do anything till you buy something lets look at the following.

i want to say hi in chat ....   You must purchase a miner before you can talk in chat. Buy a miner here

i want to take btc out from free miner ..........

In order to withdraw, you must own at least one purchased miner. Purchase a miner here.

The minimum withdraw amount is 0.0012 BTC. A 0.0002 BTC fee will be subtracted from the amount.

Huh  so please tell me where is there room to exploit them lol if they make you buy anything before they give you anything. That would be like me going to a shoe store and telling them the buy one get one offer is up for abuse. Look at the suit company jos a bank they always have like buy 1 get 2 or 3 free
1759  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 20, 2014, 08:06:15 PM
well i got another payout and seems to still be with the new fee structure i do like this wish it was not so much but i understand they convert btc to fiat for the costs they have. I was wondering if hashnest will ever offer scrypt cloud mining as well this is something i am looking to expand to other areas for the little portfolio i have lol  Wink

So i am just wondering about something with hashie. Will they also offer scrypt based cloud mining or are they ever planning to implement it and time in the future to their services offered? I am trying to find another form to diversify scrypt cloud mining with something at good price and not price rape and good reputation with low fees.  Cool
