The truth is that you do not need college level of education to be successful person. It is a common misconception, majority of people think that diploma of reputable university will grant you money and success. While it may be true it is not always the case. I've seen many idiots and losers with high level of education in my life I also seen some clever and wise people with only grade school finished.
tl;dr It is absolutely irrelevant and not meaningful what is your level of education. If you can do something right, you are good with it, you have ideas and can make them real it is all you need to be successful.
In my day job I get to see credit/income information from people in all professions. Most people would be shocked if they really knew which category of people earn/acquire the most wealth. If you did know you would encourage your children to learn a trade and start their own business. You certainly would not advise them to earn a Liberal Arts degree and take on $100,000+ in debt. Not to jump into the middle of this "discussion" but the current college system in the US is horribly broken in my opinion. We send way too many kids to College. "Liberal Arts degree" Well there's your problem

That is exactly my point. People nowadays think that if you have something less that college degree you are loser. And that is completely wrong logic. There are too many people with college education and people are just more and more stupid because of a downgraded level of education for masses. People need to stop and think do we really need another college major or we need someone with skill in his hands. tl;dr Just don't judge others by their level of education.

You guys are taking this out of context and this has gone on for too long. No one has judged him simply by his education. It is part of an overall lack of credibility of his skills, education, and experience. I'm not sure why this has gone astray and people seem to be defending their own inadequacies at this point. It's simply a matter of fact that having a degree/advanced degree increases your earning potential and ability to learn/adapt to your environment. It's indisputable if you look at the numbers - It just is.

Alright, if we're done solving education, healthcare, immigration, and climate change issues, maybe we can move on to more important matters, such as double-boost-dipping, bathing, and walking our Primes. There is a new Legendary for special contributors: https://hashtalk.org/topic/19001And I'd like to remind again of this good list of questions, now expanded: https://hashtalk.org/topic/18620This will be interesting to watch. The CEO posted something cryptic there, not sure if that means he's going to answer or what: I will give this about an other hire, then I will run through these questions

I have updated the OP a little bit - replaced Hashcoin with PayCoin, and adjusted some numbers that were clarified in the latest white paper draft. I'll do another review next week to clean up and replace some of the links that may have become outdated. Hopefully there will be some "media" news and/or new WP update by that time too.

And sometimes people with too many degrees are regarded as a loser too. HashCoin ICO Media Tour...(update) Hey Everyone: Happy Monday. I want to give you all first notice that I will be heading to New York City this week to interview about the biggest ICO in history. So far on the schedule are CNN and Fortune Magazine, with many more to come. It's going to be a big week, not just for HashCoin, but for the entire industry... and coverage is only going to go up from here. Best of all, very soon we will be finally revealing the real name of the coin. Can't wait! Let's make history, folks. Hash On, Josh/CEO Update: All interviews are done (CCN, WSJ, Fortune Magazine, Venture). They do not tell us specific dates and times (for whatever reason) so now we wait. I should know they day it goes out. Personally, I think the first one will be the WSJ. We will definitely see some Monday GAW_CEO posted 3 days ago , last edited by GAW_CEO He doesn't even know when the interviews will be printed BUT he should know they day it goes out. Everyone will know absolutely the day it goes out. How come you only should know? Also you think the first one will be the WSJ and we will definitely see some Monday? What is that based on as you just told us "They do not tell us specific dates and times (for whatever reason)"? So was it CNN or CCN? I believe there is a slight difference, one being a major TV news channel, the other - probably cryptocoinsnews.com, an ad site for some inexplicable reason having "news" in its name. The articles could also be sponsored on WSJ, meaning it isn't official content.

Why are you being so defensive bitcoinnoisseur?
All These threads have been stating is that in any postings about GAW that come from these mythical media companies that will be doing stories on them, the fixation of the level of formal educational honor's given? Not the most effective or useful arguement to make on it. There are Plenty of better arguements. The arguement can be made, but the target audience, there is going to be a % of people that resonates with someone when they are being critiqued on their educational level. Thus not very effective propoganda.
I don't look at records, I get to listen to my wife complain about people who can't figure out basic requirements and call when information is readily and freely available in multiple ways and forms. So my wife isn't legally causing issues, though I love how you want to try and make it an issue of law. So cute! My wife? Yes, she has a degree, and I'm happy for her. Degree's are not bad things, they are just not holy writ nor should they be treated as such. Eventually, she will make more then me because of it, I hope, and then maybe I can enjoy life as a kept man! It would be nice.
I already said that examples to the contrary are in the minority, so why are you so fixated on this irrationally Bit? Seriously. Step back, read all the threads again, and break out of the OCD trance of rejecting any statement that doesn't fit your internal narrative of being attacked by me.
I made logical statements based on what I know. You turned it into an "Education isn't important" discussion for all the other completely irrelevant things you listed. I'm done. sometimes people can do good things in life without have 1 or 2 8 year diplomas. Book smarts add to the knowledge you get from street smarts its not all bad and some thing you learn by yourself. I got a friend who has a big mechanic shop in California and dude just finished 9th grade. All the knowledge he got was from watching his dad work on cars during spare time. Then again going to college does not mean you will be top game i know 1st hand people who have graduated 6 / 8 year degree from good ivy colleges. Three of them are flipping burgers for last 2 years. To finish off if Having a piece of paper is that important then i for one hope Josh has like 5 dr degree cause i would hate to think someone who did not even go to high school milked millions of dollars for who knows how many people

The Most Rare Legendary Hashlet - "Paycoin Origin" https://hashtalk.org/topic/19001/the-most-rare-legendary-hashlet-paycoin-originHere's a pretty little digital doodad that does nothing but mine our own worthless hashpoints and isn't worth anymore than any other prime because making a pretty picture of a digital do nothing doodad doesn't make it worth any more than every other one. But since you're my favorite little disciples and you suck the GAW god the very best only you 19 get one and everyone else can look up to you and learn from you how to suck me the best and maybe one day they'll get their very own digital do nothing doodad.

An education or a marriage is only worth what you put in. Sure many bullshit degrees are basically handed out to students that just paid and showed up to class but at least they did that much. I hate to tell you but there's no such thing as street smarts. That's an oxymoron. If you're on the streets, you're not smart. Trust me that i learned that directly from the mouths of people that made hundreds of thousands on and in the streets. It's a no win proposition. Finally as a few have noticed here, I NEVER said you can't be intelligent nor did I say you can't be successful without a college education. I do feel though that you can not ever be successful without a proper education. Granted proper is a loose term BUT a proper education can be taught by anyone in any subject be it auto-mechanics or mechanical engineering. There is SO much to learn and the more you know, the more you know you don't know. I agree that the American Educational system is failing but to not partake in it because of that and think that you'll be better off is nothing less than foolish. Education and knowledge are still the very thing that can set you free no matter who you are or where you are and it is something everyone should strive for.

I recall last year when my kids teacher who was in 2nd grade called me to a teacher / parent chat to let me know i need to lay off my kid. I guess my kid told them i was forcing them to learn how to count money without a phone and making them learn to multiply. Sometimes i wish i can send my kids to kids in like japan, i love my country i have gave 6 years to military. Just the education is going down hill hard core. Ok back to Daddy Josh now lol

Education and knowledge are still the very thing that can set you free no matter who you are or where you are and it is something everyone should strive for. Disclaimer: I am a post-secondary mathematics instructor at a US institution by day and crypto hobbyist by night, and hold several degrees myself. I agree wholeheartedly with others calling you out, that education, including the piece of paper sitting in the desk drawer of my office that shows I toiled for many years, is incredibly broken in the United States, and that it is a weak argument to say that statistically people are more successful because they have a piece of paper showing they showed up to classes and thought hard enough to make the professor think they knew the material, or at least satisfied the point requirements of the professors grading scales. Certainly they start off at better pay on average because HR departments value degrees, and there are good things you can get from a post-secondary education, whether four-year, six-year or eight-year level, that are not easily available otherwise, I will agree with you on that. On the other hand, judging someone's ability based on a lack of education is, in my opinion, a very lacking argument. The number of students that make it through a degree today make it worth almost nothing. You may have seen the ideal in knowledge and pursued it in your education, but there is a huge amount of value to a self-made person. Arguing that in general someone is incapable because they don't have an education is moot, in my opinion. I would argue that someone is robbed of free-thought, creativity and motivation because they did get a degree. The argument that education statistically correlates to success is neither valid nor strong. I see a hundred people without degrees who don't amount to anything for every one of those who amount to something but have no formal degree. I am, after all, a professor. May I make the assumption that you, like me, became less educated, motivated and creative by attending a university?

To finish off if Having a piece of paper is that important then i for one hope Josh has like 5 dr degree cause i would hate to think someone who did not even go to high school milked millions of dollars for who knows how many people The piece of paper is worthless just like a marriage license. You may make no such assumption whatsoever and I'm actually disgusted that you would even suggest that. I feel really sorry for you that you got such a shitty education. You have zero proof that "education statistically correlates to success is neither valid nor strong." I implore you to provide me with any. And for the last time I NEVER judged anyone on their lack of education. This is exactly what I said that has you all in a delusional frenzy: His arrogance suggests he really does believe he is above so many people while he has no formal education beyond high-school. That's if he ever even graduated high-school. I don't know if that's been confirmed or not. I am not saying you can't be intelligent or successful without a high-school or college degree but the odds are stacked very high against you. I can tell for sure he never excelled in any English classes. I will stand wholeheartedly by what I said later that if you do not believe the highlighted statement above, which is not just my statement but is a statement of the overwhelming majority of at least the US, that you are either a liar, delusional or extremely uneducated. I do not think you're lying to me and you are educated therefore you must be delusional.
