How is it trumped up charges? You yourself admitted in this thread you were paid money for project that you now don't intend to finish? Disregard for a moment the whole recent scam story. I come online and see that the developer of one project I invested in has said, among others, that "NXT is essentially worthless", and accuses the Nxt community of being a guild of thieves. Of course, the market value of the project totally sinks. What would you do? Most likely the same a lot of us did, which is simply wait for a statement or an explanation. The questions are very simple. - Why do you think that NXT is "essentially worthless"? - Does your opinion imply that AutoDAC is not going to be developed, at least with yourself in the lead? - If so, what are you going to do with the +1M NXT you received for its development? Can you please answer these questions to the people who invested and was following the project? there were a number of confusing components to this whole thing, intentionally created that was(not by me, I was enthusiastic about the idea). I have offered to work anything out with anyone who 1) can identify themselves as an actual person 2) can credibly claim they were cheated. important points: 1) I was not the issuer of this asset. I was not the fundraiser.2) I have never sold a single share of NXTautoDAC3) I did not agree with the asset description and made it clear to the asset issuerI did begin to suspect that the price of NXTautoDAC was being churned/faked. I have no way of knowing. The only right thing to do is to offer to work with anyone who is a real person who might have been involved in this. So far one person came forward with a claim to 2400 nxt. Fact is I have no real liabilities here either on an ethical or legal basis. James is primarily responsible for this. Most of these claims being made against me are false and the reason why they are emerging is because I'm being critical of NXT. Why is James not being criticized? NXT is realy just another SCAM coin. Just read their newsletter: http://nxter.org/nxt-newsletter-13/there is nothing going on in that community ... just 50 BIG stakeholders trying to scam noobs. If you look at his posts on nxtforum, he was increasingly adversarial to the community in the last few weeks. By issuing a single transaction that says "At height X lock all nxts spent for creation of currency Y and issue Z coins". 2. How does the locking work?
All "burned" NXTs r locked until newly created coins not destroyed. If u destroy 7% of the supply then u get 7% of the locked NXT to ur account. 3. You can take-out NXT from the locked account (by burning NXT) but can you also later put in NXT and get more of that currency.
Only take-out, u can't inflate the supply by locking more nxts. 4. Will this be integrated with the Asset Exchange (will there be a forex to trade between the different currencies)?
All transaction types that use NXT can be used with such "subcurrencies", but transaction fee will paid in NXT anyway. 5. Who will make this? Are you building this Come-from-Beyond?

I'm skeptical about it. Just do not like 100% premined and distributed coins.
There is no mining in Nxt. It is Proof of Stake, everyone and anyone had 60 days to express an interest , ask questions and join in an open unmoderated thread hosted on this forum. Only 103 did come forward and only 73 actually claimed their stake. |

No, NXT supply will stay the same, NXTs can only be destroyed when they are sent ot the Genesis account, new NXTs cannot be created. It is a reasonable start. Value is based on what people think it will be worth in the future. Nxt's value rose on the the launch of the fastest asset exchange in crypto. Multisig-gateway for decentralised crypto-crypto trading was moved to mainnet yesterday ahead of launch (the first subatomic transactions have already taken place) and Nxt's Turing Complete Automated Transactions going into final use case testing before integration into the core. They are the main three for me, all will be released and functional in less than 2 months. Also Digital Goods Store, Physical Goods Store (NxtTorrent), Alias Transfer and others if they are your kind of thing. |
