Hi, my PC with wallet crashed. Luckily I had my wallet.dat backed up in the cloud. Now I have downloaded the Qt client again, but when I try to replace my back-up .dat file for the newly downloaded wallet.dat and run the Qt-client, the client autoinstalls a new wallet.dat.
How can I import my backed-up wallet.dat file with all my coins correctly?
Not sure its any help but the way I did it was to close the Qt client. Rename the wallet backup wallet.dat Go to appdata/roaming/EverGreenCoin Replace the existing wallet.dat file And start the Qt client. I cant see if you renamed your backup wallet.dat. If not I think thats whats wrong but to be honest I am still quite new at this. Ah! Great stuff! Yes indeed I renamed by back-up wallet but changed it back to wallet.dat. Now when I ran Qt it took the back-up dat file and I can see my coins! I will send you 500 EGC as a thank you if you give me your address  This project has such a helpful and strong community. I regret having to inform the EverGreenCoin community that the strato launch has had to be moved again. There was issues with the approval process. Gabi anticipates the new launch date will be between the 16th and 22nd of May.
Hope that is the last delay. All people want to see if EGC is a real coin with future. At the moment egc is only like ever other coin nothing special. No solar miner and no green projects untill now. I really think its time for EGC to show the world we are here !! Yes, we hope third try may be a charm. Gabi ran up against mother nature in the first delay and now run up against bureaucracy in the second delay, neither of which has kept him down. Make no mistake, he will persist. As will we with the solar miner. No one said any of our goals would be easy, only that they would be worth it. |

Ok my wallet broke it just would not sync I tried many restarts,,,,, in the end I renamed the wallet.dat file and deleted everything else and downloaded the blockchain again that worked fine and the new wallet synced ok ,,,, now when I put my old wallet .dat file back the wallet starts syncs ok but the balance is wrong [not enough coin showing] I have looked at the transactions and I see the missing amount being put in the wallet [not long ago] and there is no transactions showing this amount leaving the wallet since the day it was put in So I don't understand where the missing coins are ?? cheers Edit I just looked at my wallet address here http://158.69.205.238:3001/ and it shows the correct balance Hi semajjames, don't be alarmed. This can happen when wallet.dat files are switched around and there is an easy fix. From the debug console (Help -> Debug window, then select the console tab) enter "repairwallet" at the bottom and press enter. The wallet will reconcile. I hope this helps and I believe it will. hi all ... as of tonight ( or today in other parts of the world ) - another two seeds have been added to collection of static seednodes via the granitecoin.com network ... ive been well enough today to get some of the work done - and now its complete - with the sync finally done a few minutes ago on ALL the nodes ( a refresh sync ) ... this means a total of 5 FULL seednodes supporting the egc network are on our network - and happily running / serving the egc network ... this should mean less issues to the sync and availability of the blockchain to the network - with less strain on the network ... ive also added the nodes to the dns as well as a pull request for the addition of the nodes in the core code to be hardcoded in the next version of the wallet ... so for the wallets that require nodes added to the config files they are the ones below - otherwise if you have the latest version of the wallet - nothing more needs to be added to the evergreencoin.conf file ... addnode=egc-seed1.granitecoin.com

When will Stratosphere launch start? I thought 4th or 5th ?
I am waiting to hear from Gabi if the authorities gave him clearance for today. If weather conditions are not favorable, they may deny him permission to launch. In that event, launch will have to be rescheduled again. I will of course relay any information I receive as soon as I receive it. |

Good news! YOBIT has fixed EGC wallet. My transactions has completed too. Also the price has synced/adjusted between exchanges now. Nice of YOBIT to fix it. But they could have said they were working at it .. last week. Nevertheless! NICE PRICE  Thank you for sharing the good news! |

Pump on Yobit now but beware, wallet still under maintenance.
It will crash hard when/if yobit fixes wallet. (price adjusting between exchanges) assuming someone with EGC pumping EGC and try to sell to fomo buyers so he/she can get rid of his dead EGC position on Yobit. (Yobit never ever never fixes wallet issues). Really? Wow.. well, then YOBIT should be removed from the ANN and warned against. We dont want people to buy "disconnected" coins which they cant use. C'mon YOBIT.. this is lame. I will remove from the OP until the time comes that they address the situation. |

I just submitted a Support Ticket on www.Yobit.net regarding a pending deposit into my EGC wallet, encouraging them that I intend to trade there  Port Thank you. Hopefully they will see enough demand to give the matter attention soon. |

No, the solar miner is not, nor ever was, just hype. Yes it will be costly to produce but myself and the team are willing to absorb that cost to bring it to truition. The immediate focuses are on the strato project and helping Gabi for it to go off without hitch and of course, dealing with exchanges and other issues effecting the community. Please bear in mind we are a vey small team with many of our own personal, professional, and employment obligations. |
