Been thinking for a while cause I only have 1 app that I use to track updates about altcoins and prices can you recommend other applications?
The only app you really need to keep track of you portfolios price and any other coins you want to keep an eye on is blockfolio. It ticks all the boxes and i think its even got a news section so you can see all the latest posts from cointelegraph and coindesk. Do you need more than that?? +1 for blockfolio. I use both the app and the web version and i am a happy camper. However, if you are looking for something else, i also suggest using altcoinpocket. The user interface is really simple and it supports not only the popular coins but even small and minor erc20 tokens as well. Both apps are good, I like altcoinpocket more cause it have erc20 tokens, I like to follow new icos price. Couple days ago I saw this topic https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2417335.0, interesting coinmarket telegram bot, looks nice I checked it. I think that OP should be satisfied with this answers, and he will find out which one is more suitable for him. |

Year ago I would say when ever I can, but this year made me to think about holding some of the coins in a save place for future. Now I use them occasionally, when I make something I put on a side one part and with other part I gamble a bit or I invest in some new ico, or in some old and stable altcoin. I bought couple netflix accounts here, game on steam, I plan to do that again, and that is how I use bitcoins.

There are many different strategies for trading, some of them are riskier then others. The most safest profit in 10 years will be for the people who just buy bitcoins with cash, or earn them and hold them for 10 years. Every trading and trying to make more bitcoins is a risk, more or less, and if you are ready to take the risks , try it!
Bitcoin is expensive now, every investment in bitcoin now will be safe investment but I don`t know how much price can rise in 10 years, maybe x10. I am saying that some other altcoins can make the same and much more in next 10 years, we should pay attention on them while they very cheap.

Bitcoin is constantly surprising us with price rising, personally I didn't expect bitcoin to recover so fast and make new all times high now in november. What to say about price in a month from now when we can't predict price in a week. Market is going wild and demand is very high maybe more then we all think here. New players are in the famegameand if price continues to rise with this speed I think we will see bitcoin price over 10.000$ before new year.

My thought is that we are going to be at 9.000$ in a blink of an eye, bitcoin is unstoppable and this few forks contributed to this price rise, even thou I`m not sure that their attention was to push bitcoin more, or to make it weaker. I saw that drama is created by people who are like you, and for people like you are drama will never end! In addition to everything,ICO coins are associated with ethereum,many ICOs are lounching per week and millions of dollars go into this market and the value of ethereum olso continious to rise because of ICOs platform is on this alt coin and they are doing transfers by eth in it.The price is determined by how useful is it,we all know that what is possible with smart contracts and the potential of it.so i think it will be 1000$ or maybe more.
Their connection with icos is what will boost demand for ethereum. I use it for myetherwallet, I`m trying to buy more eth as I can to have it before price grows up. I will need it in any case, my wallet will not work without it so better to have it now then later. Ethereum is useful now, and in future I expect even more usage. Price can grow to 1.000$ and with rise in last couple days ethereum is at 450$ when I checked hour ago. Ethereum was stable for a long time around 300$, it was time to start rising, and I think many of us expected this rise. Buy ethereum while is still cheap, is my message to others. |

Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.
Anything can be used in crimes as long as people wanted it to be used in crimes, that doesnt exempt bitcoin or anything. Bitcoin has lots of help that it could offer to people, but some people are using it in the wrong way, and we cant blame that on bitcoin or the other cryptocurrencies, its people who does it not the coins. OP made a short brief about connections between bitcoin and crime. I agree with most things he said, people weren't aware of Google, face book, internet before, and internet is the place full with many opportunities. We can talk about it for days, but its a fact that people do that not the bitcoin, internet, Google, bitcoin. All this things should be here to help us in our lives, but some people use it for their own illegal purposes. Law enforcement agencies will be able to handle new crimes, they are working on that. They need to be ready for new times, and sure they are searching for ways how to control people who use crypto currencies for illegal things. Everything is important, look of the site, whitepaper, who is behind the project, and in the end product must be perfect. What ico wish to accomplish with their token, what they wish to do with it. I participated in few presales cause I saw some potential in icos I chose, that means I think in the future they can find their place and worth much more then they worth now with discount in presales. Well to me noting will make me invest in today ICOs, because they are all scam.
Most of them will be, there is no question about it! Recent one was `Confido`, headlines are Cryptocurrency Confido disappears with $375,000 from an ICO, and nobody can find the founders. Be careful, no one say its easy to invest in tokens that worth cent`s now and wait year or two to take out some high profit, risk and gain, or watch others how they do it! |

Few days ago a friend asked me this questions. But i cannot understanding that how to i give him answer. At last i said him that, bitcoin is an online currency. Only this currency used in online marketplaces. It is not possible to use it in offline marketplace like offline currency.
But what is your best answer of this question?
Bitcoin cannot be used as a offline currency as it has not been designed that way at the first place. Also, it has to be legalized all over the world or in a country to be used offline as we use our currencies. Dependency table exist for a long time, many things in this world depends from other things. Bitcoin depends from internet, internet from electricity, electricity from power plant and so on. There is one important thing why we can`t use bitcoins in offline mode, if you use it like that tell me how will miner take that transaction and include it in next block? It must be online and it must run trough miners who confirm that transaction is valid, and like that he protects the network. |

How do we know they havent already? I've read some great conspiracy theories about the funding behind bitcoin core and how they have been slowly trying to destroy it. I wish i could find the articles to share, rather interesting.
Conspiracy theories, there is no end of them. I read many things, but what is real truth? Bitcoin is getting stronger in spite of all this theories, predictions of near end, and other rumors. Who can predict what will happen with banks and bitcoins in the future. Banks exist for centuries, doing the same thing. They control money and like that they control governments and people around the world. Until now they didn't have decent opponent, and times are changed. Their time is over and new time will come, where will be their place in the future? With money they have they can do many things, one of them is creating their own digital currencies, or entering in bitcoin and taking over the control. Who knows what is in their brains, what they talk and do are two different things. If they are going down I would like to see that in my lifetime, that is all! |

I was so nervous that when bitcoin price dropped to 6000$ I was scared to loose more and withdrew my coins only to regret later that it became 8000$.
Please help me with your advice /opinion.
Think about it alone, why you didn`t wait? There are two big reasons for that, one is you didn`t have trust in bitcoin second you are not patient man. With this two things nobody can`t help you, you need to do it alone. You need to learn that and practice that, and believe me nobody here can`t tell you exactly time when to sell or buy, I know that you wish that, but that`s impossible. Practice your skills alone and you will be much happier in your life, relay on yourself more then on others! |

BCH is highly frowned upon because of their hostility, unprofessionalism, and overall untrustworthiness. It seems the people behind it, Roger Ver and Jihan Wu, wanted to control and profit from bitcoin too much that they made their own coin, bitcoin cash. It is hard to unsee how greedy they are. Just look at how bitmain operates.
In fact, these days I am beginning to see BCH as more of a centralized coin than a decentralized currency. The huge levels of manipulation by the owners are just insane and that shows a high level of unprofessionalism. Who would not hate that really ? I really see that fork as something that was never necessary in the first place as and more of an attack than a mean for a better way to do things. The level of greed these guys are operating on is just becoming annoying. Yesterday here on forum I saw something https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2422562.msg24801967#msg24801967, can this be truth that China will alow bitcoin cash mining and ban bitcoin mining? If that is true then Wu and Ver are doing this in collision with Chinese government, or I see some bad connection?
