1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: October 13, 2022, 11:43:29 PM
What favorites do you have guys ? Especially after what we saw in Last chance qualifiers yesterday. I would still chose EG because I've always been a fan of them and on 2nd place , it must be Secret as no wonder why they have the nickname Secretober....because they don't lose in October.
I'm with the crowd shouting and cheering for PSG.LGD taking the aegis for this year. But it's interesting to see new faces on this year's TI.

Whoever takes the aegis for this year, they'll gain much respect from everyone not just from the fans but also from the fans that they'll beat.

Prize pool is lower than last year and the others and that's because of the pandemic and everyone has grown up thinking that it's a waste of money to spend on games.  Cheesy
I dont believe that it was because of the pandemic. You could really see the influx of funds or the one who had bought bp when it opened and then suddenly slows down.
Why? because the treasures and other perks is never been worth or something boring compared into previous TI's where BP purchase is worth basing up on the items
and treasures that you could get which is something that you couldnt see today. There's a part 2 of it though and lets see if they would be applying something interesting
for the prize pool to shoot up even more.Main event is fast approaching and everyone is really excited for that.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Split the prize or Reroll? on: October 13, 2022, 11:02:39 PM
Let's say you join a give away with other user and both have to select a number between 1 and 10, you go for 7 while he goes for 9. The winning number is 8.

If the prize is 0.1BTC what would you do? Split the prize and walk away with 0.05 or Reroll to gamble for the full prize?

I'll go for rerolling since you have nothing to lose here it's a giveaway, what you're going to lose, you did not spend a dime here and there should be one winner, but it's different if I've spent to be in this, I will be preferring to split the prize but since it's free rerolling is a good option but its good if the promoter should be the one to laid out the rules if there should be one winner or there should be a reroll.
Yes, there's nothing to lose and if you dont able to get the prize then you would really be just simply move on and find another one or would simply make out deposit but there are people
who are really that too emotional or something that easy to be touched up on various situations which they cant really accept if they do lost or not being chosen but to consider
that everything was free then it isnt really just right that you would really get angry on it.People who are lucky are the ones would be chosen when it comes to giveaways or
bonuses or raffles or something in related.
1743  Other / Off-topic / Re: WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE, YOU DON'T NEED. on: October 13, 2022, 09:57:35 PM
I came around a post that reminded me of this very topic "WHAT YOU DON'T HAVE, YOU DON'T NEED and this very phrase was instilled long ago in me when I was still in school and upon a close research, I've also noticed that one of the greatest weakness of the youth is contentment and desperation.

I really think that if we have a society with more of contented citizens and youth, then the world could be a better place. Wats your take ?
The world would never be a better place to live in but of course it always differs on someones perception and experiences on their current living but on general sense then it wont really be that simple on attaining or
acquiring it.If we do speak about contentment and desperation then you could really expect something like this on a world that really strives and being competent on making our lives more better.
We do always aim and hope on whats the best. This is why dont make yourself get fall behind the line and thats why i dont really see this to be a negative thing most of the time.
You are living on a world which competition is high and if you dont do something then you would really be striving and wont able to get on what you do like to have.
1744  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is the performance of gambling tokens compare to other altcoins and btc on: October 13, 2022, 08:43:16 PM
I think other tokens that are designed for market volatility erform better than gambling tokens since most gambling tokens are up just to play games on the casino, but we also have some casinos took that are performing well in the market.
If we do talk about utility then it would be just common sense on where these coins are used which we know that gambling based tokens are just solely good to be used on certain platforms and theres no other
than that this is why it is really understandable on which one is really worth for you to invest on but there are people who do really make out considerations on buying these tokens for the sake of showing support
on the site.Well its their right and its their money then just let them be but if we do speak about performance and potential then it would really be that clear as day on which one does have
the potential or the chance for it to rise up in the future which i would be sticking with top altcoins and of course with Bitcoin.
1745  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you considering time span? on: October 12, 2022, 11:59:16 PM
Let's say we already have everything when we open a trade, we already have a stop loss order, target price order or initial take profit price order, etc.

My question is do you consider closing your trade if those orders didn't trigger for some time?

Because for example, the trade you opened becomes sideways or stable, and no pumps or dumps happened that triggered your orders, so for some time, your trade is still open.

So, do you have a limit for your trades? Like 1 day, week, etc? If nothing happens, are you closing those trades manually?

Obviously, everybody is dead on a long enough time line.

Nobody can afford to wait forever.

If you are waiting for a certain price and you are cool with waiting more than a year, then it don't make much sense to keep your coins on an exchange. You can certainly keep your coins in your cold wallet and wait there for your price target, send coins and execute.

Keeping coins on the exchange for long periods of time has its own risks. I don't recommend it.
Even myself wont really be that patient on waiting for long time, specially if i do saw some good entry point or situation then i would immediately close those positions that i do have remained opened
and would really be putting or making those positions whatever the situation might be.You could eventually make more profits on doing active trades rather than making yourself that
longing or waiting for too long and believing and just depending on market breakeven or recovery. Its not really worth and you are just basically wasting too much time.
Overall it would be depending on you because each person does have their own goals and targets in mind.
1746  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you visit the casino while travelling? on: October 12, 2022, 10:59:28 PM
Offline casinos have some really good amenities so why not? I don't see any issue as long as you have the money to enjoy the place and you don't fear catching a virus from interacting with people. Maybe I'll drop by one of the famous places one of these days to treat myself. I'm pretty sure it will be fun hehe.
Main question would really be money, right? If you do have the money then you can do whatever you do want and if you do have interest on visiting other places then you would definitely be considering on
visiting these places for the sake of different ambiance. If you are a person which does have the money then you wouldnt really be that afraid on accessing or going into place which you do prefer to go to.
Unlike into those who had just been earning enough for living or just right for them to live on then you would really be dont bother yourself on visiting on place which is really that
costly.Lets accept the fact that these places arent for those who cant spend up much money.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: October 12, 2022, 10:47:06 PM
It looks like Elon Musk is going to proceed with the $44B deal to buy Twitter as he has originally planned. The recent news of Elon Musk changing its mind again had a short pump in DOGE's price. If the deal goes through, that would mean Elon Musk will become the new owner of one of the world's most popular social media platforms. Knowing that the billionaire is a huge fan of Dogecoin, it's possible he will integrate the cryptocurrency into the platform for micropayments (micro-tipping).

I'm wondering what effect will this have into DOGE's price if successfully implemented? Will DOGE be able to finally get past $1 per coin? Or will it never happen? Also, I fail to see how DOGE would be used massively on Twitter when the cryptocurrency doesn't have enough transaction capacity to serve millions of users around the world. There's no LN or on-chain scaling solution yet, so developers are going to have to work on something if they want DOGE to be widely adopted worldwide. What are your thoughts? Huh
Elon Musk is a very mysterious person indeed. He slowly but became more popular. Currently, all of his thoughts are good news for cryptocurrencies as a whole.A few days ago we heard that Elon Max had bought the Twitter platform. And from that company currently offered Doge CoinCoin he will make micro payments. If it is successful, Doge will increase the price. But it is not sure whether it will reach within one dollar.
Reaching $1 is impossible considering the overall supply of DOGE then this is something that is really too far off.Dont make yourself expectations to be that too distant so that you wont really be that
hoping or expecting that much.Elon is already popular and famous considering this man is one of the richest man globally which it is really just normal that he is really known.
He had been doing things which would really make out some good advertisement indirectly into his owned companies and now he's been involved with crypto and attaching out
his investment into it which do really creates even more buzz which i do see that its really a win-win situation for him.
1748  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1 - The copycat epidemic within crypto casinos. on: October 12, 2022, 09:58:13 PM
When the new things come,we expected the new idea was launched. But some gambling website was relaunched with old idea and tactics. When it was found to be scam,it will be co related to the old scam projects. So it should be deep think and analysis before the usage of new websites. Many county people involved in the gambling website. For that reason the crypto currency played wide role in new way of casino and gambling websites.

As a gambler, it is expected of you to carryout your own research before choosing a particular casino so that your money will not be in stake and this also applies to those always in search for the newly launched casinos whereby they can have the experience of something new, but this has to be considered provided that such casino newly launched is from reputable operators that has past history and records on their outstanding  performances with other casinos before time.
When you do see something new that launched in the market then it would really be just normal that you should make out some research so that you wont really be ending up on being scammed.
You would eventually noticed if theres something off or not really that right towards that new casino. You could always test out with some small amounts and dont directly make out huge
deposits so that you wont really be that ending up on being wrecked in case things turns out to be messy. Its not really something surprising that everything would really be having
its other version or being copied. There's always those people who would be looking into those current popular and hoping to get on the same recognition via copying.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk is one of the keys to be 100k$ per Bitcoin? on: October 12, 2022, 07:59:19 PM
No, Elon Musk is not the key to bitcoin hitting $100K in the future. Elon could have invested in bitcoin, support it, or whatever he wanted, but he wasn't a custodian of around $100K ATH. Elon had created hype in the bitcoin market before by adopting it for Tesla, but in the end Tesla no longer accepted bitcoin as a means of payment causing the price to down.

But I don't know, if Elon Musk really wants to support bitcoin then of course he won't sell more of his holdings for profit. He repeatedly stated he didn't sell everything, but who knows.

It would always boils down on the entire community and not just on a single entity.Musks might be a billionaire but doesnt mean that he could really push up the price upto 100k.You should consider the overall
cap of Bitcoin and he cant really just pour all of his money on just tending to make the market going into that level. It wouldnt really be that enough. Also, people arent already that confident
on trusting on what Elon would be potentially be saying. We've seen on how this dude did really make a mess back in the past.I dont know if he would still make significant
words which people would really be believing on him after all the things he had done.
1750  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 11, 2022, 11:43:53 PM
I find it extremely important. Extremely to the point that if there was no casino that wouldn't allow me to play without KYC, I'd stop gambling.

Anonymity is everything because I don't want my personal data to get stolen, sold, or otherwise leaked. I don't want random people to know that I use cryptocurrencies. To me all my activities are private, which is why I use crypto, don't post my real name or address online and write on a somewhat anonymous forum Tongue
Since we arent that addicted and we do really give out importance about anonymity then we can just simply stop on point and never gamble if ever you've been asked out for some KYC.
We are here on this market on which we do really give importance on being anonymous on the time we do play. Some people wont mind about those stuffs or doesnt give out importance
but majority of us do really matter about KYC-less platforms which there are some that do exist today. We could really have lots of choices or options.
Dont stick on something that would really be exposing your personal information, it isnt really that worth on something that connects about leisure.
1751  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: October 11, 2022, 09:46:50 PM
Those who persist in such misconceptions lose most of the time. It should be sold if it is 15-20 percent more than your invested amount. I have seen many people who got double their invested money and held on to it and in turn lost a lot of money. One should never be greedy in cryptocurrency. Despite of having profit, greed also leads to loss of money which is very painful.
It’s not good to focus on many project since some have already proven to go away after they succeeded. There are plenty of ICO projects in the past that been successful but end up to be a scam or have issues whenever the market is in bear and not able to recover. It’s better to invest in BTC and some top altcoin than to waste time in projects that didn’t guarantee to last longer. So whenever there is a hype in a new project and experience already some profit better get it while we can and don’t be trap in that coin. Sell as long as we can get profit then just buy back once it recovers.
investing in bitcoin for the long term as well as the short term is equally profitable. buy BTC for the short term sell when it doubles and buy again at a low price. and buying BTC for the long term regardless of the doubling in price will not sell unless they reach their desired target. i call it not greedy but it really is a way of long term investment.
and talking about greed leading to money loss, to me that would never happen for a long term investment in bitcoin. look at the bitcoin price journey from the past to the present it has never betrayed its investors unlike other coins which are just hit and run

There are people who in particular keep some altcoins, I don't know, maybe because they like them, because they love technology and for them it represents something much more than apparent money, and that's respectable, in fact when Bitcoin was created there were many enthusiasts who they are like that and even like that, obviously there are many who are millionaires and who see bitcoin that way, I think that is one of the things that most impresses me that people have, that there are still many like that, however I think that now everything has gone because of market speculation, since there is a lot of money there and now the world is very interested in continuing to have money and money.

Its not always on making profits or money.Sounds weird or odd? There are indeed people who do really hold a particular coin just to show up some support on its tech or utility.
They dont really mind nor think about its value as long they've been holding it, then that what matter the most.Well, its our money then its our full rights on what we should gonna do about it,
or things that we bought.Majority of people on here would really be going after for profits and this is where it do differs since there are ones who do prefer on long term
and there are ones who do prefer on doing in shorter terms.
1752  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 11, 2022, 08:51:55 PM
Cash back will the option likely to be used by the gamblers. The gamblers had a habit of playing till the cash will be loss out.But this done by the person who lost huge money again and again. They can’t use the bonus without the deposit of the money. So most of the gambling people including myself, will look into the percentage of cash back on based on the first deposit made by them on register to website.
If you are a certain gambler who do really keeps coming back and do really have that huge budget or allocation of funds then you would definitely be going after into that cashback/rakeback.
Bonuses arent really giving out that kind of interest for most people considering that we are really that aware when it comes into its roll over or wagering requirements.
This is why its not really something that is really that interesting for most gamblers to take.I do agree on what others been saying about both things could be acquired
and its not really that something that you could choose one of them if its really that been offered by a certain platform.
1753  Economy / Economics / Re: Retailers make more profit than wholesalers during inflation. on: October 11, 2022, 07:59:20 PM
Is it that as long as you are selling essential commodities, inflation doesn't affects your business instead you make more profit.

I feel like companies are using the rising inflation as an excuse to increase prices more than necessary and making things worse. Especially companies that sell essential commodities are aware that consumers can't stay away and have to keep buying no matter what the prices. The politicians keep talking about economy downturns and that things will get worse, yet many companies have strong revenues and pay their employees big bonuses. I wish the government would keep an closer eye that companies don't increase their prices too quickly. Every price raise that is not necessary except to make higher profits will increase the inflation even more. Once the overall inflation is above 10%, the government should step in. Otherwise we face the risk of a downward spiral.
Companies will always try to pass additional costs to the end consumer, this is just how it is, however I agree with you that with the excuse of the high inflation some businesses are raising their prices even more than what it is necessary to cover their additional costs, but there is nothing we can do, and if governments try to solve this then they will just make it worse as they always do, so the only thing we can do as customers is to identify the businesses which are employing those tactics and then never buy from them ever again.
Its always been like this and as a consumer then there's nothing we can do but to deal with those high prices if there's nowhere you could eventually go.If the herd or the community would be sticking out on a said retailers or even going into those wholesalers then for sure they cant really still avoid those high prices. There might be differences but we know that wholesalers cant really just provide out on small quantity incase you would be buying up something.Speaking about profitability in between these two wont really be that such a high issue or something that we could talk on.They are making money no matter what angle they would
make. Its up into some system or ways on how they would really be playing out those prices whether it is really just right or too much, there's nothing we can do.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 10, 2022, 11:50:47 PM
You made me to make some small research just Know since I was not familiar with the phrase"bug bounties". It is not compulsory that gambling websites must test run their sites for bug bounties. Bug bounties are hacking experts who check the security of the site. As for me it might not be safe unless the the bug bounties expert is a trusted friend or well Known person. If not you site will be prone to another hacking system. OP have you heard any gambling site has be attacked or hacked by hackers. As for I have not heard. Gambling websites have not done that because they have not experienced hacked and also their site maintaining personal are okay with the security aspect of the sites even though they didn't use bug bounties, they used another tools to do that job.
The list of popular casinos on the forum has a high security system so we have never heard of any of the top casino lists on the forum being hacked, but several other casinos have been hacked so to anticipate before the hack occurs they ensure high security by opening the bug bounty program to the public, so the test results of the bounty bug report will be immediately handled to prevent from hacking.
Casinos must not come here to create bounty for people to try there luck to see how they can hack a casino which I see like a not good way to keep the security of a casino to a high standards. There are various ways to do that which can be very strict without any bounty. Many of the casinos I know have insurance that cam protect them in case of hack or attack from hackers.
You cant really say that because there are new casinos which do really like to test out if there is someone in the community could able to make out some bypass of their security. It wasnt really that a bad idea, and also
they would really be just putting small amounts into their hotwallet just in case if someone do really able to make some exploits or simply could hold off that withdrawal process. So its safe to say that they could
really strenghten up their security if someone do able to successfully go into a hole. Its true on what mots people been saying here that rather than on running a bounty, it would be better if they would simply
hire specialist on security and that should really be in one go but of course it would be depending on owners budget if he could really afford on running one.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When You Heard About Bitcoin For the First Time? on: October 10, 2022, 10:32:50 PM
I know guys it's silly question but I was wondering that wether how people got in to bot oinnand other cryptocurrency.
My case is that in 2017 I heard in news that Bitcoin that is a digital cryptocurrency Crossed real gold for the First time. At that time it's price was above 1000 dollars. And that git me interested and I want to know more about crypto and now I am here and I making post 😁

remembering the past when I first got to know Bitcoin around 2014, and even then I didn't know this forum, at that time I only focused on getting Bitcoin from various faucets, such as freebit, moonbit, and many others.  if I'm not mistaken when I found out Bitcoin coincided with the emergence of Altcoin Litecoin.  I was desperate because I couldn't earn anything from cryptocurrencies because I only focused on dice games, faucets and didn't try to trade or invest so I decided to quit and focus on other work.  and until now my knowledge in this industry is still in the learning stage because there are always other activities so I can't focus fully
All of those days, the thing in our mind is on how to spend up those coins and make out direct conversions whenever we do earn or get those coins and without even minding about holding.
If i do remember and count all of those coins that i do have then i might be that millionaire as of this moment but well it is really just a pain on remembering those things that you had missed out in the past.
Hearing new things will really be making those mistakes which is really that very common. If i had really just accumulate Bitcoin and other altcoins which are top altcoins now then
i might have a different financial status as of this point.Hearing things on first time will really mind boggled you if on what it is but for those who do see up some potential are the
ones who had been rewarded.
1756  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is the performance of gambling tokens compare to other altcoins and btc on: October 10, 2022, 09:59:38 PM
I can see that few gambling websites have their own tokens, is it advisable to invest money in such tokens? Also how is the performance compared to other coins and BTC? Do these tokens follow BTC movement like other tokens? Football club tokens surges when an upcoming big match is around the corner what about gambling tokens. ??
Read up the 1st comment on this thread which it would really be a good thread for your to look upon since its been discussing about gambling based tokens. Its up to you whether you would really be considering on investing with these tokens or not. When we do talk about performance then this is something we could really say that it would be always varying with the demand.Usually these tokens doesnt really correlate with
Bitcoins price or overall market trend.Checking out chart histories of the current existing  casino tokens which they arent really that on a good condition or position if we do talk about value.
Its up to someones choice which if they could really bare out that certain risk or not.
1757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it best to have a personal trading strategy? on: October 10, 2022, 09:23:52 PM
Consistency is important whether you have a personal strategy or you're just copying the strategy of others. Once you're set and you're doing it, just be consistent and keep doing it until there's an error and it's no longer working.
But if it's working, keep on hustling with that strategy that you've been using, and don't change anything until it's not effective anymore to you. That's the key to making yourself profitable with whatever strategy that you do when you trade. You'll learn a lot of it more when you're doing it and gain more experiences.
from experience it will teach us many things, we can understand mistakes that should not be made, by honing skills continuously and learning from experience, then we will automatically be able to find trading strategies that can make us enjoy when trading. not everyone can do something like this, because most of them are not able to go through the learning process that will lead us to consistent profit
In the long run, that's the result of being experienced. You'll get the knowledge that you haven't got when you're still a newbie in trading. That will sort out things on how it happened and what you can do to avoid it from not happening.
The learning you'll get based on the process of trading will make you a better trader, as you formulate a strategy or someone's strategy being used and it's working, that's what matters with all of it. Because even if some are trying to apply what they know as a strategy, it's just not enough and there's the reality that trading might not be for them.
Experience would be the best teacher on which you would really be definitely able to acquire up these things on the time that you do continue on engaging with trading. Its not bad on looking on others analysis or ways
because you are really that accumulating for you to apply into your own analysis. Its always been okay on being independent rather than on making yourself be that depending on others methods.
You would really be finding out for yourself on how sensible on having your own strategy and you could really create your own analysis which you can depend or rely on.
Most noobs wouldnt really be considering on doing this initially but instead they would really be having that copy trading.
1758  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: October 08, 2022, 09:45:04 PM
Pretty sure it is wasting time activity if we do not like it but there are thousands of people who like to watch it for some reasons.
Some people watch it because there will be giveaway by the streamer and some other watch it because they purely like to watch it.
I myself do not like to watch live stream (any content) but I do like to watch some clips of nice winning from the streamers (I dont care whether they use real money or not).
In this case, Drake is an official ambassador of Stake so if Twitch will ban him then I believe there will be communication between Stake and Drake to find the best alternative streaming platform.
Eddie said today in his stream that Drake will make a new stream soon, in the coming weeks. It will be after the 18th october because if it was in the 10 coming days it would be already scheduled on a specific date. So it will be necessarily outside Twitch. Eddie didn't say where it will be, but we can assume it will be on Dlive, since it seems to be his favorite stream platform.
It would really be one of the list.

YouTube Gaming.
Facebook Gaming.
Periscope.
Smashcast.
UStream.
Mixer.
Mirrativ.
DLive.
YouNow
Caffeine

When it comes to Twitch alternative. If they do made out some announcements
then for sure they had find another place for those streams.
1759  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Online casino/gambling projects on: October 08, 2022, 08:59:09 PM
I am starting to have this crazy interest in crypto gambling projects like online casinos and stuff but I want to ask, this utility have been around for years but is there any old project that live this long and still functions?

Also what are the things that kills such project because even one or two survived for long I don't see many alive till now, they fail easily or turn scam later.
What kills a certain old reputable gambling site or platform?

1. Withdrawal issues
2. Shady results or simply talks about fairness
3. Altering their terms and conditions

As long on anything that do really touch up trust issues or simply breaking one of the most important thing then this is where bad impression starts.
Community is really that highly reactive when it comes to this manner. If they do saw somethings off or not usual then expect on what
would be the upcoming words or sentiments to be thrown out.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: THE ARMOR : New crypto crash game. on: October 08, 2022, 08:29:49 PM
I don't know if you are the owner of that casino but too be honest it's a bad way to introduce a casino on this forum. If you are trying to promote or gather gamblers here, I'm sure on the way you introduce, no one will have the guts to play given that it's a new site, there's not much information and there's are other casino on competition on crash game. Though I like the design of the casino, it's pretty cool.
^There should be an announcement thread and this is not an appropriate way of introducing a casino, it is good if OP will come back and make an official announcement thread for this. Because here in the forum, it is a battle of the competition, marketing should be the priority in order to compete with others and can lure many gamblers to visit your site and stay. However, regarding the website interface, it is good and user's friendly, I hope soon your company name will be popular here in the forum.
If you do look on the post history of OP which he had said that he wasnt a paid promotor or even part of the team, but just simply a player who do really make big money or profit on this site. This is why he do
really make up some share up into this forum but it seems that it is really that on shady on just giving out some site links and basing up on the design and overall impression which i cant really that
trust off this site directly. He wont really be coming back since he had just posted this one for some share up.ANN threads shouldnt really be looking like this from the start.
Its true that we do have a tough and fierce competition when it comes gambling world or business which it wont really be that good on a particular owner on introducing on this way.
