1761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Negative in Value? on: April 30, 2020, 01:19:20 PM
I do not know if I am right or wrong about this, but from what I understood, the reason why the price of oil turned negative is because there is no one buying them. The sellers are even begging the buyers and paying them to buy oil. So in this kind of situation, for sure there is going to be a negative price. But in the case of bitcoin, I don't see that as something that's possible.

For Bitcoin to even drop to dollar, I think everyone that's into it and investing in it will have to quit from it, and that includes the exchanges. I can't even imagine such a thing happening. Bitcoin can't and won't drop to a negative price and that's it.
1762  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin is made for times like these why is everyone selling at a time like.. on: April 30, 2020, 12:00:50 PM
If bitcoin is made for times like these why is everyone selling at a time like this?
China quarantined fiat FFS.
This tells me 100% BTC is only a financial purpose and not a practical purpose overall.

Just venting a little. This selloff is nuts.
Even if everyone did sell their coins, that’s not enough reasons for you to quit. There are times when the price of Bitcoin will fall, or haven’t you heard that the price of Bitcoin is driven by demand and supply?

This is a pandemic, and there is no stock or asset that was able to stand firm at this time. Gold was able to stay a bit stable, but there was a time it fell from over $50,000 plus to around $40,000 or so, and it quickly got back up. Bitcoin did the same, after it fell down to $3800, it still got back up to $5,000 and now it has gotten to $8,800. Tell me which other asset has been able to recover as much as it did?
1763  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining: Halving will destroy the half of us. on: April 30, 2020, 11:01:16 AM
Sadly it is the truth. Small miners will have to quit from mining when the halving is done and they are receiving small amount of block rewards. The only way they will be able to pass through this is if the price of bitcoin should increase immediately after the halving, then the rewards they get will be enough for them.

But the way I see it, the price is not going to increase immediately after the Halving and I’m saying this based on my experience with the other halving that took place, the price doesn’t go up immediately, it takes time and move up slowly, unless things are going to be different this time around.
1764  Economy / Economics / Re: How can the corona virus end Faster and economy reopen on: April 29, 2020, 07:09:23 PM
You do have a really good question here, how we can end the Coronavirus fast? First I would like to say that the world is not yet sure where the Coronavirus is coming, although a lot of people have tagged it an infection from bats, or pangolins and other animals, but they are still not sure where it came from. You don’t even have any proof that it was created and released by a group of people. Some conspiracy theories were that the virus was created by the Chinese, they do have some points that are convincing, but these are just theories and they can’t really prove it 100% yet.

Some countries like New Zealand have controlled the spread of corona which means there is no new cases for them. So, literally corona pandemic had come to an end for them. Investor may see that as a good symptoms as other countries may copy all the measurements of lockdown to prevent new cases. So, Economy may reopen at any time!
1765  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: April 29, 2020, 06:27:21 PM
I like the second point you made here. Import and export has not been efficient, and a lot of people will be forced to focus on locally made products, and homeowner businesses that were being neglected will start gaining interest and making much sales.

Another good thing is that in countries where the leaders has neglected their health care system, they will start building it quickly to be able to take care of those infected, because if they don’t do that, then they are definitely going to lose a lot of people. In places where the air used to be polluted, the air is now free from pollutants, and not just air, including water. For sure, everything that has happened has its sides.
1766  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the best crypto exchange? on: April 29, 2020, 04:50:49 PM
Binance is definitely up there especially with its new wave of market domination. However, Coinbase is still a viable option, though my preferred exchange is Kraken. I suppose people stick to what they've experienced and its hard to change the force of habit, especially, when there's no need to.
Binance is by far the best of the bunch but I also respect others opinion on exchanges as long as they do not work with scammy or shady ones which I warn them about. Think about it there is right now a system where people keep shilling about their own exchanges a lot, they pay affiliate money to people who can invite others, and they pay a quite good sum from the trading fee as well. You could very well be your own exchange without doing anything, where does the exchange make money from?

Trading fee's mainly and when an affiliate invites someone in, their job is basically over and there is no more responsibility, just collecting profits all the time. So, I understand all the shilling yet I think there is like 5 to 10 places that I respect, you can use any of them, aside from that things start to go sour a bit.
1767  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New trader looking to profit from the crypto market on: April 29, 2020, 03:09:36 PM
Copy trading can be profitable only when you are able to copy a well-tested trader for free of cost. I guess no platform is providing it free right now. Sometimes, the profits you are making may not cover the subscription fees of copy-trading feature.

Also I read platforms are running their own accounts and advertising them as a highly successful traders to attract other traders for copy-trading subscriptions. Platforms must be generating two way of revenues by doing this; 1. Copy-trade subscription fee 2.Commissions on each trade.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happend..... on: April 29, 2020, 10:05:40 AM
Yep, this was not Satoshi's plans for Bitcoin, if you take time to read how he described the cryptocurrency. Over the years a lot of people have defined Bitcoin in a way that's different from what was said at the beginning. The first description was that it's simply a payment method, but nowadays people are seeing it as an investment or something else and some are saying that it's a safe haven.

Well, none of them are wrong about it, Bitcoin can be an investment, but some people are now trying to misuse it. There are those who are looking for opportunities to pump and dump in the market, although that's now something difficult for anyone to achieve.
1769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Day when Big Bang theory gave Bitcoins a free commercial on: April 29, 2020, 09:20:44 AM
Cryptocurrency and Blockchain is like a normal thing that everyone has to know now. Lots of classes are now teaching about cryptocurrency to people and there are also some videos where I have seen them reference cryptocurrency. Like in the February 2016 movie, Deadpool, a Bitcoin sticker can be seen at one side of the bar. Marvel referenced it in one of their comics, Hunt for Wolverine. If you watch the Family Guy, there was a place Lois said to Peter that they really have to figure out something for the family since their savings money is getting smaller and smaller, then Peter said Bitcoin!

So, cryptocurrency is becoming like a normal thing these days. Blockchain is also one of the most needed skills, and nobody will know about Blockchain without knowing cryptocurrency.
1770  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Store of Value on: April 29, 2020, 08:47:45 AM
You're saying the truth. Most people who are complaining about Bitcoin are not considering the long term price. They are only looking at the short term movement, and I do understand their reactions are based on when they started investing their money and started experiencing loss. Anyone that invests in cryptocurrency at a rate that is low, and HODL it for a long term, they will be able to make profit.

Right from the beginning, if you check the all time chart, you will notice that the lowest in every year is usually higher than the lowest for the past years just like you have explained, but people are not looking into that.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your loss at an acceptable level on: April 28, 2020, 04:57:42 PM
I have not seen a trader that do not lose sometimes, i may be new to the forum but been learning before now. it has nothing to do with sentiments but traders have to learn to accept trades the way it is, without attributing loss to any factors; as it leads to more rekts.

Always accept the market as it is without blaming any factors.
Always dyor too
I am not understanding your point about traders not attributing loses to any factor Huh? There are factors that makes the market to either fall or increase.

So, when you’re trading you have to pay attention to all these factors that can lead to the price going to one direction or the other, that way you will know what you’re doing exactly. And if you happen to lose your money while trading, there is nothing wrong with trying to figure out what resulted in the loss you encountered while trading. That’s the only you will be able to learn and try to avoid such mess in the future. I don’t know for you though, but I think this is what’s right that every traders must do.
1772  Economy / Economics / Re: What N America and Europe need to start on now! on: April 28, 2020, 03:11:03 PM
For me, I would say that the op has a really good idea here. The world seems to be relying on China for almost everything.
A lot of things I buy these are usually made in China, like seriously, it should be like that. We shouldn’t be relying on just one country for everything we want to do, we ourselves should also producing most of these things we need, especially in the area of pharmaceuticals.

It is going to be painful but we have to do it. Ever since this Coronavirus started spreading, China has been dominating in sales of all things health related. If other countries were producing these things by themselves, they wouldn’t have to rely on China to do it for them.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making Cov-19 as excuses on: April 27, 2020, 07:48:54 PM
In an individual effort I would totally understand that some people may not really believe, that is understandable, however there is a fact that if you look at it generally, like ALL projects, there must be some that got affected. Maybe it is not something huge, maybe it is not big of a deal for some people, however at the end of the day if there is a project that got affected by it, we could be understanding of it.

This is not individual, these people might be basically all scammers, or maybe they are telling the truth, I wouldn't know, I am talking about in general and saying corona is actually a decent reason for projects to come to a halt, there are so many companies in the world that are not working right now, so it is only normal for projects to stop as well.
1774  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♦🎮🎲💹 NITROGEN SPORTS | Simulated Games, Poker, Casino, and more! ♦🎮🎲💹 on: April 27, 2020, 07:07:55 PM
I’ve also bet some esports the last month that I couldn’t find the source with the result and had to trust Nitrogen that they graded it correctly. Did they? I hope so, but maybe they didn’t.

Maybe you shouldn't bet on anything you can find just because there is nothing else to bet on Smiley .
Who bets on random (or even simulated) esports anyway.
People now bet on basketball leagues in Tajikistan, random table tennis events in Russia with players nobody ever heard of and so on and so on. This is crazy.
This lockdown brings down the degen in all the players I think. Thats why I stopped betting now.
THis is pure gambling with no statistics before the game, no reliable sources and so on. Look at the toher guy complaining. He bet on table tennis saying he bet on the 2nd game (that was cancelled). I am 100% sure there was NEVER a 2nd game, they never play the same guy back to back within 30 minutes. Its the misinformation that made him lose.

About your baseball game thats another story, obviously its been graded wrong (if the result I found is right).
When did you suddenly became so well versed in table tennis? I have never watched a single one aside from some funny youtube videos of the sport, but I am also not playing on games that I can't even google and find the result of. Seriously what games google doesn't have the results for?

Usually when you write the name of the game and the date, they give you the result, it might be as little as it gets but I can follow up on the Sunday league of brighton or 9th league in UK from the standings to top goal scorers, or any other game, I can basically just google them and see it, don't know why you would be forced to trust nitrogen for the grading, there has to be some form of official website of that game that has the official result, if nothing else works just go to the league website.
1775  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: April 27, 2020, 05:00:57 PM
Having less number of bets but higher wagered amount is absolutely better than having millions or even billions bet but the wagered amount is low.
We can't know that number at all, it is a secret to us and usually not shared unless a casino is an investment casino in which case investors do know what is going on. All casinos like to share the bet number and not wagered number because that is a secret, so all we can compare the casinos with is the number of bets done, and right now windice is going high as much as some other huge names, which I don't know the amount wagered so I can't talk about that but it shows the number of bets is reaching the best of the best.

If we had some other data that we could compare, we would compare them but they are not sharing any of those information with us. There is still a bit to move to be at the top, but for a place with just one year or so existence it is great.
1776  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 27, 2020, 04:10:18 PM
I don't think its bad that FortuneJack is charging a withdraw fee, I am actually surprised that they didn't introduce it in 2017-2018 when the fees were crazy high for transactions. I remember back then I think FJ paid like $50 per withdraw and I felt bad that they were losing so much money due to fees back then.

Now the fees are more fair, especially on the bitcoin network. Out of all the bitcoin services and exchanges that I use, they and Gemini are the only ones that DON'T charge for withdraw fees. Everything else out there has been charging for withdraw for years.

Even Poloniex back in the <$1000 days still charged a fixed fee of 0.00010000 Sats per withdraw even when the network was pretty much empty. They could of waived the fee but they charged it anyways.
When the price of bitcoin was lower I could understand the poloniex 0.0001 bitcoin, because it didn't worth anything at all. However that was back in the day, we need to scale, and what I mean is if bitcoin price reaches to 50k will we still have the same withdrawal fee? When price reaches 100k will the transaction fee be the same? A million dollars? There needs to be a scaling option in general. Hell the price seems to be high enough right now that we need to make it lower and lower.

Segwit helped a lot, LN will be amazing work, but in the end we need to adopt all of them very commonly so that we could make these transactions very cheap, if we do not start using segwit and lightning network very commonly, we are going to keep paying more for the fee.
1777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 1 JAN 2021 BTC WILL HIT 100K$ on: April 26, 2020, 04:42:45 PM
There is no argumentation, this is basically someone having a "feeling" about something and creating a topic about it, there could never be any data to back something like this up neither, I mean any person who knows bitcoin knows that bitcoin can do anything at any time and there is no way to know it beforehand.

Definitely there are some people who do TA very well and there are a lot of times they turn out right as well, those are veteran traders who know what they are doing, but even the most experienced trader does make mistakes time to time and that is why they never speak with guarantee, only the brokers do that and that is because they get commissions. So, it could be 1k or 10k or 100k or 1m, there will never be a way to know that from now, all of them could equally happen.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $160, after a +11% gainer in the last 24 hours on: April 26, 2020, 09:37:40 AM
Honestly it is not only bitcoin price that it is following, I would have understand if it was only doing these increases because bitcoin was increasing but look at the charts, ethereum went up in bitcoin price as well. This means when bitcoin price of ethereum is staying same and bitcoin price in dollars increases, ethereum increases as well, however when bitcoin price of ethereum increases AND bitcoin price in dollar increases at the same time, that is double the profit.

This is the reason of the sudden increase of ethereum, it is a good coincidence or something calculated I don't know but in the end both of them increasing at the same time rarely ever happens, which is why I do not think there is any secret reasoning behind the increase, it is obvious.
1779  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will 2020 be bearish as well? on: April 26, 2020, 08:50:08 AM
We are not bearish at all and we should be right now that is the weird part. Think about it, so many people are at home and they are not making any money, so where does this money comes from? Starting from bitcoin to at the bottom all coins are increasing for the past day for example, where did that money came from?

I do not understand how we are bullish right now but I am quite happy about it, I rather see coins go up than down and that is obvious but I would like to see coins stay strong on horrible periods as well which is the real test. Right now bitcoins year to date is better than any other major market out there, so that means during a pandemic crisis that hurt the world, all markets were doing bad but crypto was doing good, this will get heard eventually and help us in the long run.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 26, 2020, 08:02:02 AM
I have already started buying again, I bought under 6k once, and right now I am waiting a bit more because I think it is too high right now for me to buy, however if price goes under 6k once again I will buy again, I do not have too much money left, a little bit only, but in 1.5 months or so at the start of June I will have some more money coming in from somewhere, if the price goes under at early June I will buy so much more (compared to my previous one) and that way I will be capable of waiting with a decent amount.

If the price goes above something huge, like 10-12k then I will start selling all of my coins, that little purchase under 6k and selling over 10k would allow me to pay ALL my debts and even leave me enough to save aside a bit as well, I am planning on using that for PS5 when it comes out Cheesy.
