1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: November 11, 2022, 08:21:18 PM

Cadiz may not be a big problem for Real Madrid, should not. Real Madrid's dominance is exactly here in the match, but 1 goal is still worrying because if this turns out this will change the result. We really know how Real Madrid sometimes makes some surprises and it is very unpredictable. But this time, I really expect to get a good surprise so that we can see Real Madrid's position is not really far from Barcelona. WHatever happens, Real Madrid must always have full point, if they make some mistakes by losing points or getting drawn, thiswill be really worrying.
I also felt the same concern while watching the Real Madrid vs Cadiz match. but Real madrid's dominance throughout the game has brought quite satisfactory results. and a 2-1 win I don't think is too bad. so the difference in points between Barcelona and Real Madrid is now only 2 points apart. Barcelona is still at the top of the table. but with not much difference in points. then Real Madrid can still have a great chance to seize the top of the standings.

I really think Real Madrid could have scored more in this match. They have missed some really easy chances in this match. But so did Cadiz. Both of them missed easy chances. And I think Cadiz was a wee bit unlucky as well because they got denied by the crossbar once. Even the Real Madrid goalkeeper would have said that he had it covered, but I have my doubts.

Ultimately, I cannot say that this one was an easy win for Real Madrid. Even in the 92nd-minute Cadiz had a good chance which they missed. But Real Madrid got the full three points. That's what they needed to stay close to Barcelona. Now Real Madrid cannot make any mistakes. Barcelona has a 2-point advantage over Real Madrid right now.

If this question was asked 13 years ago people will show you lots of ways to earn bitcoins without investing money like from faucets, playing games, or typing...but with the value of bitcoin as it is today, earning free bitcoins is almost non-existent.

Nowadays, there are still some ways to earn bitcoin without investing by fiat but in return you have to invest your time and effort, nothing is completely free. Try to learn about airdrop, testnet, AMA event, learn to ean from exchanges...where you can earn some altcoin and from there you can convert to bitcoin.
1783  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin deposit problem on: November 11, 2022, 04:05:28 AM
What are you waiting for?
Why you don't move to other exchange if they are not responding?

If you curious to use kucoin so I will recommend go to another exchange and deposit funds from you bank to that exchange.

And than transfer that funds from that exchange to your kucoin exchange account.

This way seems faster, try to use binance or coinbase, whichever exchange is supported in your country. Deposit through those exchanges and then you can transfer all your crypto assets to kucoin if you still don't want to leave kucoin. But in my opinion, OP, you should give up on Kucoin if their service is really that bad because if you later have bigger problems with your property that they don't solve or guide you poorly then you're in trouble.

LOL... for India, the panauti continues even after firing Virat Kohli from the captain post. Rohit Sharma proved to be equally unlucky. But the manner they surrendered today was unbelievable. England completely destroyed them. BTW, Rohit was partly responsible for today's defeat. It was a very flat track and any target under 180 would have been easy for England. And then comes Rohit, who scores 27 runs from a total of 28 balls. At least he could have scored a bit quicker. In the end Hardick Pandya hit some big boundaries, but India couldn't get anywhere near 180.
First of all the pitch will help the batsmen and runs can be scored easily which was easily guessed by the type of pitch. Batting at a strike rate of less than 100 on such a pitch is very shameful for me. And when you see it from an experienced batsman like Rohit Sharma, it's nothing but silly. I would say that when India scored only 62 runs in the first 10 overs, the match went out of India's control. Rohit and Kohli's stupid batting was the main reason for India's defeat. Secondly, I found India's bowlers helpless today. Every bowler gave a lot of runs today.

The way England played in this match, even 180 wouldn’t have been enough. The only way for India to win this match was to get at least 200. But I have to say another thing. From the middle of the super 12, I was saying that the team which was batting second was being able to win easily. Again that is what happened in this match as well. And not only in this match. In both semifinals that is exactly what happened. So, I really think that whichever team wins the toss should take bowling first no matter what.

Humiliation for India.
1786  Economy / Economics / Re: Can our work be turned into a full-time investment? on: November 10, 2022, 12:29:09 PM
Under the current situation, many companies are facing bankruptcy or layoffs at any time, and we do not know what we will face tomorrow.
Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency? If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
Do you have better advice for work?

I don't know how long you've been in the market and what experience you have, but I wouldn't recommend looking at crypto investing as a full-time job. Cryptocurrencies are risky, whether it is a bear market or a bull market, there is no guarantee that you will always win in the market.
If you have crypto knowledge and skills, you can apply for jobs in startups or blockchain companies, that would be a good idea. Never think that investing in bitcoin or becoming a day trader will replace your main job.
Crisis and unemployment are happening everywhere, if you are still an employee of the company, try to give your best instead of thinking that there will be a better place for you right now.

Perhaps people are scared but it is difficult to give up completely with centralized exchanges because they provide us with a lot of services and facilities that DEXs do not yet provide. Investors who put money in CEX are not holding but they are day traders, P2P traders...CEX is a tool, a place for them to make profits in the market.
If people were scared and wanted to stay away from centralized exchanges, maybe they did it when Mt.gox crashed, the crash of Mt.gox is much bigger than what FTX caused.

Some of the fans have blasted the ICC for it's poorly organized qualification structure for the 2024 T20 World Cup.

https://twitter.com/BdJcricket/status/1589216546651803651

Netherlands managed to finish within the top-8, which means that they qualify directly to the next edition. It also means that Two slots from Europe qualifier are most likely to be taken up by Ireland and Scotland. The controversy is with the EAP qualifier. One dedicated slot is provided to them and there is simply no competition for PNG. Apart from PNG, the next highest ranked team is Vanuatu at rank of 45. Also in Africa two slots are likely to be taken up by Zimbabwe and Namibia, leaving no place for other teams like Kenya. For the Americas slot, Canada has it easy. However, just two slots are allotted to Asia, and there is a lot of competition there.

Is the system of increasing slot numbers absolutely impossible or irrelevant?

Really think that there should be more teams playing in the World Cup. It was a great job from the Netherlands to finish so high in the top eight. I hope people can understand as well as I see that there is not much actual competition going on outside Asia to play for the World Cup. And that is really concerning for the ICC.

Outside of Asia, only a few countries actually play cricket regularly. I wonder why ICC does not make the group stage a lot wider with all the smaller countries like Kenya, Namibia, and others so that those countries also have a chance to show their potential.
1789  Economy / Economics / Re: Always ask bargain for prices never pay full specially now on: November 09, 2022, 09:00:02 AM
If I go to McDonalds and try to ask for a discount, they will first offer me an alternative (hamburger instead of bigmac), but then will simply say "next" and cancel my order. Try to bargain in supermarket. Even though store chain buy everything in bulk and giving you a discount wont make any significant different on their income, they wont give you a special price.

You know that your proposal can work in both directions? If you bargain everywhere, get ready that one day your boss will give a discount to his customer, but the difference in price will be reflected in your lower salary.

I did bargain asking and few other my friends and it worked becouse so many people allready did they had no way to refuse at the coffe i got 50 cent cheaper of coffe.
All together we got 3$ saved that 3$ Will be invested in btc.

You can bargain at the flea market and it's worth doing because the outdoor vendors often charge very high prices if we don't bargain, we might end up spending more than its actual price. But in the supermarket you can't bargain with them, the product is already listed and the price is fixed.

You feel you have difficulty in life due to the crisis, you should save and not spend on unnecessary things, if you want to save investment then you don't need to drink coffee and save maximum to invest bitcoin, than bargain to save a small amount that you deem worthy. Everything goes up in price because of the crisis and no one wants this to happen, don't think only for yourself but not for others.

Life is full of surprises so always prepare yourself a plan b. Let's remember that we try to work, try to earn a lot of money for what, is it for the family? I am a married person and what I am holding, I have told my wife and mother even though both still do not understand what bitcoin is. They say it's unnecessary because they don't want to think bad things but I think it's really necessary because I don't want to waste my efforts all these years.
I find it quite surprising to see that many people do not trust their family members, refuse to share with their loved ones, are afraid of people stealing their property. I see that if we are already husband and wife, as brothers, but do not trust each other, a lot of money doesn't mean anything.

It's like stories when someone finds a cache of jewels, and there will always be stories like that, it's normal, because there are those who do not trust anyone. In general, we want to create wealth in order to live life in abundance, so we need to distribute it in such a way that we don’t have to pass on a very large fortune to the next generation (just kidding). You need to trust, otherwise it can turn into a paranoid life...

It is not necessary to pass on wealth to the next generation because if they know we have assets to save, they often rely on it without effort. I am following that lifestyle because I myself have not inherited any of my father's assets and I am confident that I can earn more like my father did. But really if in life we don't trust anyone then we will be lonely all our life and can say that we will never succeed, money lost can be regained but family love can never be bought with money.

Could you believe that I've been thinking of this subject ever since I first read it and has been bothering me? Anything could happen to anyone at any time, most people are not prepared, and there could be an accident and instant medical conditions like cardiac arrest that could lead to death. But are they prepared? No, so their wallet is gone as well.
same here mate , this is why I already let my Wife and my Mother about my assets at least when pandemic comes hard to our lives .

Now that I have something in my health ? My mother and Wife will have the full authority of my assets once bad things happens unexpectedly .

we have worked hard from our assets so we are the only one that will decide where this to be settled when were gone.

decide now mate because we cannot withhold our life even if how bad we wanted.

This is the problem we face with trust issue. I think we should allowed one of our siblings know about our coin because nobody knows when he or she we die. The trusted one should have access to our wallet when we are alive incase of necessity.
if we are not married then yes it may better or at least our parents? but if we are already has family then it is our wife and children.

Life is full of surprises so always prepare yourself a plan b. Let's remember that we try to work, try to earn a lot of money for what, is it for the family? My son's 4th birthday is a week away and I've been thinking about this idea as well.
Actually, I opened a savings account for him when he was 2 years old but the current savings I have for him is gold, not fiat or Bitcoin.
Although they are not much since I don't save often, I just save them for him whenever I have a little extra in my pocket.

And I came up with the idea of saving in Bitcoins when he and I were making Bitcoin pumpkins, I discussed with my wife a few days ago, I decided to save more for him but this time it's Bitcoin.
I am a Bitcoin investor but I like both gold and Bitcoin and I want to diversify his savings because if I just save gold everything will be fine but wont be able to give him a decent amount of money when he grows up so I will add one more option which is Bitcoin.

I'm asking a friend of mine to buy a hardware wallet to start saving but it probably won't make it in time for his birthday, as it takes up to 30 days to ship to my area.
He seems very interested in my physical Bitcoins. I don't know if he grew up as passionate about Bitcoin as I was but now I want to do something that ties him to Bitcoin.

He takes it out to play every day.

1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: November 07, 2022, 09:28:50 PM
Messi just had a small injury, but he is definitely playing in this world cup.
Leo Messi will remain in treatment for an inflamed Achilles tendon as a precautionary measure. He will resume training next week.
We are just over 2 weeks away from the start of the World Cup, and the players going to Qatar will have to start managing their physical condition, so that injuries don't get in the way.
Probably Messi started training, but maybe he won't do 90 minutes again, in the next games, just in case.

I also agree, and I also do not think that he’s going to play for 90 minutes because he will be saving himself for the World Cup. He would surely not like to have any type of injury before the World Cup. For him, right now, he is looking forward to the World Cup more than anything else. And we all know how highly Messi values the World Cup at this moment in time. After all, that is the only thing he does not have on his list of trophies.

As for those who are already concerned about Lionel Messi's injury, I think you should know that it is nothing serious.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 07, 2022, 09:19:06 PM
As I understand it, Messi has nothing serious, otherwise all the media would have been trumpeting that he might miss the World Cup. By the way, PSG will be very lucky if Messi misses the games with Bayern - he has a lot of experience in losing to them  Grin
I'm more interested in Mbappe's situation - it will be interesting to see his reaction when PSG get knocked out by Bayern (I hope) and he leaves the tournament again in the 1/8 finals.
In the first round, Bayern Munich battled Inter Milan and Barcelona from the top of the table to qualify for the knockout round. And their opponent in this round is PSG. This is going to be the most important and competitive match of the knockout round. Manchester City, Bayern Munich and PSG are considered to be the favorites for this season's title.
I will put PSG team ahead in this match. The main reason for this is that Messi is in very good form right now. And if Messi, Neymar and Mbappe can maintain such consistency, it will not be difficult for them to break down Bayern Munich's defence. However, there is a possibility of players getting injured in the World Cup. I'd definitely bet PSG to win this match unless the players suffer horrendous injuries.
In my opinion, Messi does not show anything special this season (but compared to the disastrous last season, he certainly performs better). Neymar, in my opinion, performs more brigtly and this is reflected in his statistics. But in general, PSG remains not a star team, but a team of stars, so such a standard of team play as Bayern for me will be a favorite in this confrontation.

In my opinion, Lionel Messi is just saving himself for the World Cup. There is no reason for him to play for PSG and jeopardize his World Cup. It will be better for him if he takes an adequate amount of rest and gets himself ready for the World Cup which is very near. PSG has a lot of good players and having Lionel Messi of a level is not going to be too much of a problem for them.

Mbappe's ego won't diminish even if PSG are knocked out of the Champions League very early. But I think this time it is not going to be very easy to beat PSG. They are currently playing well. I think they actually have a good chance of beating Bayern Munich.

BREAKING:Southampton have decided to sack Ralph Hasenhuttl.
(Source: The Athletic UK)
I know that many English clubs will begin to sack their coaches especially as Emry just arrived Aston Villa and got an immediate result.
EPL is full of competition this season and it is also full of surprises. No one is safe.
Its actually kinda fair considering that Southampton hasnt been getting any significant result ever since Ralph took over. His managerial win rate with Southampton is only at 34% and the best position that Southampton ever got was 11th, ever since that their position has been at the bottom with close call to the relegation zone for the last few season

Throughout the English Premier League, I think that the level of competition is really high. As a result, it is quite obvious that a number of coaches will be dismissed from their positions. It is because the performance of a few teams is not up to the mark.

It is quite understandable why Ralph Hasenhuttl has been sacked from his position. It was not possible for him to improve Southampton's performance as a result of his leadership. At this moment, I think that the teams below that are also not safe at this moment, as well. In any case, not their coaches at least.

Congratulations to Pakistan team for a five wicket win against Bangladesh.  This was a huge and amazing opportunity for Pakistan.  The equation was such that if the Netherlands team could beat South Africa then Pakistan and Bangladesh would be a possibility later.  From that prospect today, Pakistan and Bangladesh both teams entered the field with the intention of winning.  Bangladesh cricket team won the toss and decided to bat first.  When he came down to bat, he made a good run in the beginning but could not set up a good score as a target later on.  Bangladesh cricket team managed to score only 127 runs in 20 overs.  Pakistan was put under a lot of pressure first when they came down to bat with a target of 128 runs.  But in the end, Pakistan was able to overcome that pressure.  Pakistan secured victory by 5 wickets with 11 balls in hand.  This victory ensured Pakistan's place in the semi-finals.  Congratulations to Pakistan for securing a semi-final ticket.  But we expect better performance from Pakistan.
Today's match was a match that the team that wins will be guaranteed to play in the semi-finals. Under these difficult conditions, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat. He managed to score 127 runs by losing 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. But I think this 127 runs was never enough to win. But Pakistan didn't miss any opportunity here as they took the field and won by five wickets. and confirm the semi-final game. Congratulations to Pakistan Cricket Team. Of course we want better game gifts later.

First of all, Bangladesh shouldn’t have made a bad attempt of getting runs on the board after choosing to bat first. I know that the decision of Shakib Al Hasan was really fucking dumb by the umpire. If that guy had a fucking brain he wouldn’t have given that out. It was as clear as fucking daylight. If Shakib Al Hasan was there for Bangladesh, I think the score could have been different.
I really think that these types of decisions were made just because ICC wants to see India versus Pakistan match to generate revenue. Grin

Obviously, congratulations to Pakistan, because regardless of any decision made by any umpire, they have played well and proved that they are worthy of playing in the semifinals.

This is probably the last World Cup T-20 for Shakib Al Hasan. And it was sad to see how this match turned out for him.
1797  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 06, 2022, 03:39:39 AM
~~
I guess this varies from country to country as some countries had already experienced a ton of inflation for the past years, yet the minimum wage has not been changed ever since to cope up with all the price increases that happened. It is not always the government's fault however there are some where they are such as on my country. If in any case, they won't be able to change or increase the wages of workers, then they should focus on controlling and minimizing the effect of inflation on the country.

Increasing the minimum wage may not always be the best choice but at least make it proportional to the workload given to each and every worker. Some companies set minimum wage on their job, but it isn't proportional to the workload assigned to it.

It is not proportional in your eyes but it is proportional to the business owner. You have to understand that in order to keep your business afloat, a business needs to consider a thousand different factors, not just worrying about employee pay.

If an employee is in trouble, the company can help them, but when the company is in trouble, on the verge of bankruptcy, will any employee accept that he will work to support the company, such as For example, he will work for 1 to 2 months without pay to help the company overcome difficulties. I bet you they will run away immediately when they hear the company is in trouble so the company must always make the right calculation to keep their business afloat.

It is really difficult to come up with a complete solution for your business and your employees, if the company does not meet your needs and you are confident that you deserve more than you are getting. You should find a better company instead of blaming them.
1798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 05, 2022, 02:00:22 PM
An important victory for Darmstadt. They are now undefeated for 14 games and showing that they want to and are able to move up. But unfortunately for Hannover the game was already over after 30 minutes. But they showed a great job in the defence after the red card. They can build on that.

Actually, the match was supposed to be over for Hannover after the red card, but they have shown great resilience in this match and also the penalty save was a great mental boost for them.

But eventually, they were not able to win. I do think that the goalkeeper should have done better because that is a type of goal any goalkeeper would not want to concede. And they were actually doing very well defensively. Had that not gone in I think the match could have actually ended in a draw even though it was very close fight from the 30th minute of the match.
1799  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: November 05, 2022, 12:43:13 PM
Moral education is the key to stopping corruption, currently many countries make departments or institutions to control corruption, but the cost for these institutions is very large and the result is that corruption is not reduced, but if the state has a long -term plan, it must be taught from an early age.

In my opinion, there will be no effective way to prevent corruption. Today, corruption in schools is bigger than any other profession, achievement disease...even the principal and teachers are corrupt, who will teach the children?

Corruption only stops when everyone has a dream life, which means that society will be equal, no longer distinguish between rich and poor, no longer compete with each other, and have full amenities for everyone...but this will never happen, so corruption never goes away.
1800  Economy / Economics / Re: Is long-term employee retention a losing battle? on: November 05, 2022, 12:34:14 PM
Being an employee is unavoidable especially if you're trying to put food in the table for your family, or even for yourself, and greedy companies take this as an advantage making their employees taken for granted while gaining only stress, depression, and other emotional sickness.

As an employee, you will always be under a lot of pressure even being seen as exploitative but it is inevitable and should not be blamed entirely on the government or the company. Instead, use it as a motivation to help yourself find a way to overcome yourself, the more difficult it is, the more you have to fight if you want to have a better life. Successful people or our bosses, to get to where they are today, they have had to go through hundreds of such hardships. If it's society, don't expect justice, if you want to get rid of it, try harder.

Most of the wealthy people are greedy, who wants more money by giving a lot of work loads on their employees with their lower than minimum wage. I think the first one should act is the Government, for the company owners to change this very awful behavior since the beginning. Government should increase the minimum wage because we're in the era where everything is expensive.

Increase of minimum wage is not the solution. If you keep increasing minimum wage it only will lead into more inflation. The government need to have a strategic plan to build more industries so that there will be choice of work to choose from and people who are skilled and qualified will be properly enumerated and won't have need to keep jumping from one job to the other and get under paid.

Exactly, commodity prices increase and if the government raises wages to balance people's living standards, it will cause faster inflation. That's why many blame the government for not taking any decision to force companies to raise wages for workers.
