Keep using the Bible to justify whatever...hope one day you realize this is plain wrong.

Not for now Charles...cpu only mining via wallet at launch. Should be fairly interesting, I have high hopes in this and eMunies/Microcash.

OP, your literal interpretation of the Bible is disgusting...you're full of it, ignore me if you wish, but you're promoting sin.

Great pool! It has good speed and accurate yac/day estimates.

I'm back on YAC again. Mining with a 7970 - HIS Turbo iceQ X2 3 GB. I'm getting 259. Once trick if you want to squeeze your CPU as well. If I set the affinity of cgminer (with priority high) to one core and the affinity of the other cores to the cpu miner - I can continue to pull 259 off of the GPU as well as pull hash off of the CPU. With litecoin - I can't do this. My card runs cooler on YAC as well.
Glad I'm not the only one doing this. I found I can run 6 threads on my 8350 which nets about 40 kh and I can run 3 on my athlon II x3 > unlocked to x4 @ 18-19 kh both with stock cooling, slight overclock. Exactly! That's what I wanna do...waiting for my new 4770k to get here (ordered parts)

I was wondering if a 6gb card would enable future yacing? if that was the case I think it would be worth it to those who were capable of continuing to mine yac considering the diff will drop greatly when gpu's exit the scene.
good point. I was thinking to this point, can we use the crossfire cable to achieve sharing of memory among the GPUs. If it's possible, can give us a few more months to GPU mine yacoin. Any expert opinions? Well linking them together would probably be hard since they are designed to run memory in parallel vs series when in crossfire but there are 6gb versions available such as the Sapphire vapor x 7970 6gb here:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202005 Exactly, ram doesn't add up in xfire, but mirrors. A 6gb 7970 would do the trick I guess, but they are WICKED expensive. (for now) I want 6gb 8970s :p

Dam, that's crazy! Send me your rigs

At full speed scrypt pulls 760w from my wall, 610w for yac using latest version.
ezo
That's actually great man! I pay 0.03usd kWh but even then, every saving is good news.

I noticed that my temperatures when mining yac are much lower than my temps when mining other scrypt coins which makes me believe that electricity usage is lower. Has anyone measured their power usage and found a difference?
I noticed the same thing, must be the lower intensity...if temps are lower, consumption must be lower too...unless ambient temps changed or fan speed.

I doubt you can even mine without a radeon using this...not sure though. dui bu qi

Has anyone tried this with Haswell's AVX2?
I know the nfactor has destroyed these numbers, but I am still curious if AVX2 would make a difference
I'd love to see that...my next cpu will be a 4770k. I guess someone would have to create a new avx2 optimized miner, right?

This version is my attempt to optimize the Keccak code as much as possible. 128-bit vector operations are used where possible. Unfortunately the core operations of Keccak are still 64-bit because Keccak is annoying. Speedup is pretty minor. My 7790 goes from 108 khash/s to 112 khash/s. This version doesn't use the vstore* functions and should work with very old compilers (not tested though). scrypt-chacha-v7.clhttps://mega.co.nz/#!RldG2YpD!DVbjR1A8tAFBPDBHTz7_WVN0S6o3hRQwWjOFrEBD0RU Epic man, you work so hard on this...I'll try it out and post back with results. Currently running at 223kh/s with my 7970. you should be able to get more out of your 7970.. im getting 260kh/s out of my 7950s right now Thing is I only have 2gb of system memory, that severely limits me...should change in a week or so (getting some upgrades)

Those are the settings I use to run it, nothing left out. I do have 8 gigs of system ram cause it's cheap. I leave s, q and e alone. Half the time the pool communications crap out, so it's a problem on their end...
Oh and it's Win7.
Thanks man, I guess it's my ram holding me back. Same for scrypt in general, everything BUT sha256 which nets me 750kh/s No sweat... what do you use for sha256? I seem to do better for scrypt than sha256... Diablo kernel, and oc the crap out of my 7970: 1250mhz core and 1.19v and 75% fan on my Gigabyte 7970 WF3 OC. (non-ghz, old revision) -g 1 -i 14 Kinda pointless, but well...not doing it anymore but I did have the fastest 7950 and 7970 for sha256 out of the guys I know.
