Christ.

Go to work, and come home to see that the dev took Panda behind the courthouse and put a bullet through the back of its head, Mao-style. PANDA is at 21, and here I am, sitting on 17k of them. Guess I'll mine some doge until the next thing comes along.

PANDA is still more profitable than any other coin as someones propping it up at 0.00000020 or so.
But it does suck that it dropped so much Sad

Really more profitable than pts or ultracoin?
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 21, 2014, 12:05:12 AM

another article much in favor of the 750Ti and cudaminer,  with a side by side comparison of entire mining rig solutions (nVidia vs AMD)

You're on a roll!!!

Now go make it hash at 1.5x the speed Cheesy

We can invite you to Argentina, free of charge, and join our mining syndicate...get a cut out of our nvidia farms, what do you say Christian? :p mwahaha
1163  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CraPE v0.3 beta - Boot from USB - Win8 PE Based Mining OS on: February 20, 2014, 09:38:30 PM
FYI I don't think it's possible to run anything past V.6 of Team Viewer in WinPE...and Team Viewer is even more annoying in this situation because they always want you to update.

Gotcha! Thanks a lot...I'll experiment with this and send a tip your way.
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 20, 2014, 09:37:08 PM
I'm mining both yac and pts... Cheesy

Nice results, looking forward to higher clocks. Why no h81 btc pro with risers and 6 750tis?
1165  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CraPE v0.3 beta - Boot from USB - Win8 PE Based Mining OS on: February 20, 2014, 08:11:48 PM

Thanks!!!

Quick question, can you help me out and make a winpe like this one with teamviewer pre installed as well as Nvidia drivers and cudaminer 2014-02-04 release?

I'd send you a generous tip if you do so. Same with the one you just uploaded, is there an easy way to run teamviewer with it?
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 20, 2014, 08:09:40 PM
What clocks are you running? Cheesy

I bet you can do better with some more time and of course, after Mr Buchner improves cudaminer for Maxwell cards. (looking forward to that!)

Well stock on my card is 1189 base / 1268 boost and upped that by 36.
Memory stock is 5400 and I upped that by 516... And this morning I had it up to 660 or so...

Nice, looking forward to getting one.

Can I ask what your setup is? CPU, Ram, Windows version etc?

Sure

Intel Core i7-3930K (OC'ed to ~4.7Ghz) Water cooled (H100)
32GB Ram Corsair DDR3-2133
Windows 8 64-bit
Corsair HX1050 power supply

+1 C 2 for scrypt and please try higher L values. 3 and 4 and maybe higher and auto tuning would net you more than 4khs (I hope) :p

thanks!
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Consolidated Litecoin Mining Guide for 5xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx GPUs on: February 20, 2014, 02:16:34 AM
I have 2x Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB (Hawaii PRO) and a XFX Black Edition 1250W 80+ Gold.

I'm thinking of buying 2x Gigabyte R9 280X Dual-X 3GB and put in the same miner.

How will this work W-wise and what would the config .bat look like in cgminer 3.7.2?

This is a proper conf file for sgminer 4.1.0, it lets you run one and two gpu thread devices in the same instance and is faster than cgminer, use it:

{
"pools" : [
   {
      "name" : "Wafflepool",
         "url" : "stratum+tcp://useast.wafflepool.com:3333",
         "user" : "13jFjtuKoCfSd3bkLJQJg7EoBXWmebvA8x",
         "pass" : "x",
         "pool-priority" : "0"
   },
{
         "name" : "middlecoin",
         "url" : "stratum+tcp://useast.middlecoin.com:3333",
         "user" : "13jFjtuKoCfSd3bkLJQJg7EoBXWmebvA8x",
         "pass" : "x",
         "pool-priority" : "1"
   },
}

],
"intensity" : "20,20,13,13",
"worksize" : "256",
"lookup-gap" : "2,2,2,2",
"thread-concurrency" : "32768,32768,8192,8192",
"temp-cutoff" : "99,99,99,99",
"temp-overheat" : "95,95,95,95",
"temp-target" : "90,90,90,90",
"gpu-engine" : "0-1000,0-1000,0-1000,0-1000",
"gpu-memclock" : "1375,1375,1500,1500",
"auto-gpu" : "true",
"gpu-vddc" : "1.15,1.15,1.15,1.15",
"gpu-fan" : "85-100,85-100,85-100,85-100",
"gpu-powertune" : "20,20,20,20",
"expiry" : "1",
"failover-only" : true,
"log" : "5",
"queue" : "0",
"scan-time" : "1",
"gpu-threads" : "1,1,2,2"
}

This setup will run at 1100w gpu wise plus 100w-150w of ram/hdd/cpu/board, without undervolting (if the gpus are voltage locked)
To use it you have to create a txt file and name it sgminer.conf, then edit it and paste this inside and save. Then just run the sgminer.exe file to start mining using the conf.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best Hash/Watt GPU Setup, Undervolting on: February 20, 2014, 01:42:11 AM
Hi. I am about to drop some cash on a small setup. I was going to get the Sapphire R9 290X Tri-X OC which is about £448 in the UK. Since I am relatively poor I need something that is going to get me a good hash rate with lowest power use. Enough to still be profitable on stuff like Doge etc.

Should I go for this card or a 280x/290 (brands and models please)? 2 perhaps if cheap enough? I am also getting a 1000w brand name PSU so that needs to be taken into account too.

I will probably be buying tomorrow so need an answer ASAP.

Thanks.

I'd reccomend a yacoin mining setup, using 4-6 Radeon R7 240 4GB cards in a Z87 G45 board paired with 8gb of ram, a 500w good quality psu and a celeron g1820.

Said setup draws 200w from the psu and pulls off 16kh/s mining yac: http://explorer.yacoin.org/static/calc.htm

Stupid Bitcasa, hold on I'll try to fix it

Thanks! Cheesy
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 19, 2014, 09:16:16 PM
Guys, is it possible to make some kind of auto-switching on aonther pool if another one is dead?
I can't find it in readme(

Not yet...should be in a newer release, along with proper maxwell support and cuda 6, without degrading older cards perf. (or so said Christian) :p
1173  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CraPE v0.3 beta - Boot from USB - Win8 PE Based Mining OS on: February 19, 2014, 06:51:24 PM
You do...downloading now. Thanks!!! Will tip you if it works well.

EDIT: damn, same...404 Sad
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 19, 2014, 06:30:20 PM
http://scrypt.cc?ref=baars

If you guys didn't know about this website, scrypt cloud mining...
The khash price for know is I think expensive... but could be interesting one day...

Some website, already selling the gtx 750 Ti at higher price than 170.... dammit !

I'm getting a boatload at 173... Sad
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 19, 2014, 04:39:30 PM
Damn it... Bought 3 with a portion of my Bitcoin haul from the Maxcoin launch...  Cry

EDIT: And today I become a Tittiecoin MILLIONAIRE!!  Grin
That only makes 500000 ladies... Cheesy

lol

I want 4 750tis for my main rig...I'd love if you could do at least 2 way sli with them, but not possible Sad

I'm gonna tweak one of these soon, a friend's getting one and letting me remote into his rig for proper tuning (not like those guys from the site Christian posted at did...no lookup gap lol)
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: February 19, 2014, 12:07:31 AM
Which mobo do you use for 4x r7 240? Are you using extenders x1 to x16 or mobo with 4 x x16 pcie? I want to setup yacoin mining rig so I'm not sure which way is cheaper. Smiley

I use my main pc, which had an i7 3820 for yacoin cpu mining :p

X79-UD3 + i7 3820 + 2x4gb samsung 1600mhz cl11 + 850w psu (super overkill)

I'd reccomend a z87x-oc or asrock oc formula for 4 well spaced slots, no need for risers. Cards are single slot but not sure if the cooler fits without a slot in between, mine are spaced.
1177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: February 18, 2014, 11:11:33 PM
Indeed...all those crappy clones trade for way more, like CPR, or YBC, ZCC...now UTC.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 18, 2014, 11:10:19 PM
Thanks! I'll give it a shot asap...
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 18, 2014, 06:55:23 PM
Damn, I need to get 4 of these asap Cheesy

Someone test proper yacoin settings with high -L and core oc please!!!
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][YAC] YACoin ongoing development on: February 18, 2014, 02:59:28 AM

I'll give it a shot...the XFX cooler looks way better. Max clocks on that one?
Also, do you know if they make a 4gb variant?

Thanks Cheesy

EDIT: Beave you're the man... 2.12kh/s, much better now :p

Surprising! You are welcome. I'm getting 2.35kh/s on the XFX now but only 2.04 for the U--share rate. I have 1100 on the gpu clock and 1050 on the memory clock.

As far as I know, Sapphire is the only one who makes the 4GB as far as I know.

Ah, interesting...well, these are dirt cheap, not half bad. The xfx one seems like it can clock higher with the better cooler.
I'll test the GT 640 4GB with cudaminer soon as well...and then the new GTX 750 and 750ti cards.
Looking forward to that.

Tip incoming!

Thank you. It will be interesting to see how well those cards do. Seems to be a lot of options out there. And it is still profitable with the CPU!

Back on Cryptsy--finally!

Ah, good news! Cheesy

I mine on my i7 too...0.87kh/s
