1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 19, 2013, 05:21:09 AM
Hi there guys Cheesy

I finally got a cpu upgrade in the form of an i7 3820 which I run at 4.4ghz.
What are the best settings for the avx 7.1 miner?

Couldn't find up to date specific settings...
Thanks in advance!

EDIT: well, look what happens when running it.

Isn't that vulnerable to the inherent security issues android phones suffer from?

Been running on an 8 core opteron for almost 4 days:

Balance 0.479320 XPM
Unconfirmed: 0.372963 XPM

Disappointing.

VPS or a cpu you own? Vps providers are lying with their specs me thinks.

1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CLR][POOL] Two pools: PPS 2% and PPLNS 0% on: August 09, 2013, 08:22:32 AM
its giving me now 53 Mh/s per card... im using CLR gui miner 0.2.3 version... the latest beta is crashing on my pc.
cant able to work the reaper correctly on my miner..
thanks

0.2.4 crashes? Haven't tried it myself since reaper works fine here...170mh/s with a single 7970 at 1175mhz.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CLR][POOL] Two pools: PPS 2% and PPLNS 0% on: August 09, 2013, 03:19:22 AM
thanks for your reply.. But i think my cards can only function on 256 and 8192 values respectively.. its giving me a low rate of 838 Kh/s on each card.

What miner?

If you have 7970s, you should be at 100mh/s or more.
1609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CLR][POOL] Two pools: PPS 2% and PPLNS 0% on: August 09, 2013, 01:17:19 AM
Hi,

Can you share what are your settings to achieve that speed for 7970?

Thanks Wink

You should be using reaper, or use these settings:

Thread concurrency 16384
Worksize 256
1610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [CLR][POOL] CopperLark - mining profit more than on BTC and LTC mining on: August 09, 2013, 01:14:09 AM
any good settings for Radeon 7970?
Streamings:?
Worksize:?

Thanks

Reaper doesn't work like that...and it's 50% faster at least.

Aggression 24
gpu threads 2

That's about it.

UPDATE 2013-08-08
clMinerGUI (v. 0.2.4-beta) - added support GetWork and now you can mining by using a reaper.exe [and cgminer.exe - coming soon] - faster x4

https://copperlark.com/forum/index.php?topic=421.0

That's great Smiley

Nice man, I'll keep an eye on your progress...ypool doesn't seem fair at all, really shady pool.

I'm reinstalling my system soon, should be able to improve performance noticeably.

Guys, can you point me to a technical analysis site or soft for other coins and exchanges? I tried cryptfolio for ltc/btc trading and it worked great for me.

http://coinmarketcap.com/
maybe

Nope, not that...I need to apply technical indicators like simple moving average, stuff like that, to the data generated by the exchange sites API keys.

Google translate is not working here, can't keep up with the copperlark forum, I need the upbit translation :p

Did DD improve on this further? Last I saw reaper still had an edge.

Thanks, I have my stuff, need to install win again and I'll post back with results.

Looking forward to new pool soft, I'd gladly donate.
1619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Pool Software on: August 07, 2013, 02:30:17 PM
I'll keep an eye on this thread...I feel ypool is scamming people with it's strange mechanics.

I have 3 machines of about the same performance mining XPM. I have pointed one at Ypool and left two mining solo. 3 days passed, solo miners have found one block each (difficulty ~9, that's ~11 XPM per block). The 3rd machine at Ypool has only made ~2 XPM. Either they're very inefficient or you guess what.

Yeah, I'll solo mine once I install my i7 3820+x79-ud3.
What wallet? hp9?

Hi folks!
What about a new version?
V6 - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1189851/jhPrimeminer-GMP-v6.zip
Changes:
1. Initial Auto tuning related to L1 cache size. It takes about 4 min after the minder was started. For some configurations can double the seeped.
2. Keyboard shortcuts for those that likes to play with the numbers.
3. Round sieve percentage - Similar feature that was introduced in mikaelh's hp8 primecoin client. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255782.0
Basically the parameter sets how much time is spent in the sieve and how much time is spent on checking the candidates produced by the sieve.

Enjoy.

Edit: Both the miner and the mpir.dll Compiled with AVX flag - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1189851/jhPrimeminer-GMP-v6-AVX.zip

x2 slowdown compared to v4 on all my Opterons running Ubuntu Sad
Will you upload the source to github? Maybe I have to compile it with /favor:AMD64

Really, slower than v4? Maybe it's setting related?
