1% naming fee seems reasonable. I'll PM my addy later on.  Wink

Does the chart below show cumulative transactions over time or daily transactions? I'm assuming it is a running total.

Approaching 4 Million SDT! Plenty available when the doors open for business.

what's left from those 70 000 000 will be burnt.

When? And why it was not already done?

Hold on. I'll send you the burn address in a second.  Wink
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap.com - Market Cap Rankings of All Cryptocurrencies! on: September 25, 2015, 04:34:37 PM
Would it be possible to add shapeshift market to coinmarketcap?

I would be interested to see where shapeshift instant exchanger stacks up here:

http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/

Shapeshift api docs:

https://shapeshift.io/site/api

Their API calls don't include volume.  Lips sealed

Why the dumps ?

Unsure. I'm assuming it's related to the slight increase with BTC and LTC as the week's gone on.
I don't mind, I'm happy coins are available this low, makes my weekend  Cool
187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is anyone pre-ordering 21 Inc's device? on: September 23, 2015, 10:15:25 PM
can you pay them in bitcoin? no? that's the answer. also, I think this device is overpriced

That's the weirdest part about 21's project: it can only be bought on Amazon, who don't even accept BTC.

For a mainstream audience, this is positive. But they won't shell out $400 to get nearly nothing in return.

I think it's a smart business move on their end. Most people still don't know/understand bitcoin. So they pitch the "First Bitcoin Computer" to a wide audience on Amazon and make it easy to pay. I'd venture that 95% of folks that see it aren't comparing it to a Bitcoin Miner that is always associated with ROI. Most shoppers never shop for electronics with the ROI mentality.

So then it just becomes a sales pitch to the un-informed but curious shopper. And it's a good pitch for those outside the dome. Backed by respected VCs. Something that can just be plugged in and generates "money" when it's on. Brilliant!

This will sell like hotcakes and make investors loads of money. It's not geared to the 5% of us in the bitcoin dome, it's for all the other suckers buyers out there that want an easy money tree that doesn't need water. Who cares if it will never grow past a blip in the dirt.

Blazin8888 is certainly making his rounds. I don't own any SDC, but I do own BTS. The members there are asking him to be banned for being a douche. He was telling everybody he was going to invest 250BTC when the price was rising. Now he says it will crash below 1k? Total douche!

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,16894.1050.html

Good luck.

I believe he actually owns only .250BTC IF THAT. But everyone is richer on the interwebz!  Cool

We these be burned at the end of the crowdsale alongside unsold BitCrystals?  Cool
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNOFFICIAL] VNL | Vanillacoin 0.3.2 | DarkPP/MinerPP/CoinPP | ZeroTime BETA! on: August 28, 2015, 07:05:31 PM

Can you submit coins here with different codebases? Seems this will link it to BTC... or?

They won't add it until the proper rights are attributed to the proper authors. Meaning bitcoin code needs to be attributed in the "made from scratch" vanilla code.

"Vanillacoin was engineered from the ground up and is designed to be innovative and forward-thinking." Taken from the Vanillacoin website and that is 100% accurate. Also the routing and how the network behaves is totally different.

Well if the website is 100% accurate then mapofcoins will start a new genesis with VNL being a standalone (alongside BTC, BCN, NXT & XRP).

It will not link to BTC.

We should see gold, silver, and bitcoin prices rising as fiat currencies fall.

This bitcoin dip is part of a market cycle combined with the bitcoin fork fud. Too much opportunity for traders to short Bitcoin right now so the bears are having a field day. I expect a reversal in September.

Agreed. Silver prices are under $15 ?? Definitely time to buy more.

A very good forex trader on twitter is calling $8 silver and $777 gold target buy zones.

Very interesting. Thanks for the tip. Maybe I'll start accumulating on the way down.

Last recession I bought (10) silver 10.oz around $12/ea and sold for over $30. Easy money in recession.
I believe Gold fell to 800 or so around the same time. 2008-2009

7 year cycle is upon us. The toilet paper fiat printing business is a fools game.

On http://bitcrystals.github.io/ under SoG Player Grades you list the following:
Quote
Satoshi card
1x (Limited to 50 first)
And that is shared between the Gold and Black Player rewards.

At this point in the crowdsale:
Are the Satoshi cards already all claimed?
If yes, what is the replacement card?
Maybe you could clarify which "limited" cards are still available for the packages remaining?
If I buy 33k BitCrystals today and earn Lifetime Gold Memebership what exactly am I getting as perks?

Shweeeet, thanks. Are there any websites that accept SDC as a form of payment? Like precious metals companies or something?

Currently I know of no companies that accept SDC as a payment method.

You can however use services like www.ShapeShift.io to swiftly do payments to stores that accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies Smiley

Like Kewde said, ShapeShift has ShadowCash in their arsenal. ShapeShift also has a partnership with https://purse.io/ which allows you to buy stuff on Amazon and other big places. Plus there is https://www.coinpayments.net/ which also has ShadowCash in their arsenal and allows you to use your coins most online places like Purse.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [OFFICIAL ANN] Vanillacoin, because it's not a clone. on: August 14, 2015, 07:26:17 PM
Will fpga be the final advancement in vanilla mining?

If it succeeds, ASIC is the end game.

ASICs are not planned though.  VNL marketcap would have to be in the hundreds of millions in less than 2 years for a third party to manufacture ASICs for VNL.

FPGAs are just working prototypes of future ASIC chip miners. Anything could happen and the marketcap won't dictate the development, adoption will.

Upon further investigation and help from a friend it seems the tutorial in the OP is for a v1 RPi. I've been trying this on a v2 RPi with the quad core. So instead I'll try the Native Build of Qt 5.4.1 on a Raspberry Pi http://wiki.qt.io/Native_Build_of_Qt_5.4.1_on_a_Raspberry_Pi
