1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your average bet per game? on: July 18, 2016, 02:31:56 PM
Do you bet big like 1 BTC in hope to win 50 BTC with a huge risk or do you do small bets?

Bet big to win big? Or bet small over a long time to be safer?

i have always preferred the second option which is making smaller bets but with an average chance of win/lose something like 50%. this way i am only taking a smaller risk and with a smaller amount but i can still continue making bets in case i lose anything.

because in case i make a big bet and lose that is going to be a big chunk of bankroll gone which not only makes me sad but also it will take away my ability to continue making bets.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Losing Passwords & Wallets... on: July 18, 2016, 02:25:39 PM
people have been losing their passwords for as long as passwords exist, and it is neither limited to bitcoin nor limited to internet.

why do you think most of the people use passwords like "123", "abcd", or their brithdays? because they lose/forget their passwords all the time. whether it is the password to open their physical lock or it is for their bitcoin wallet.

creating tutorials never change anything in this case.
1803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How easy is it to shut down Bitcoin? on: July 18, 2016, 02:22:36 PM
if for any reason Chinese government decided to shut down all the mining farms and they went down, there is still >40% hashrate remaining from other places in the world that can support mining until those shut down mining farms migrate to another place and start their business all over again. so there only will be a temporary problem with hashrate and nothing else.
1804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does Bitcoin price now will be Stable or it will sti go up??? on: July 17, 2016, 02:52:29 PM
Hi guys i want to get your thoughs about bitcoins price for this month or even in future, do you think bitcoins will stable for this succeeding months? Or it will surge up to the top?.

Because i really wondering what will happen now since halving is done.

bitcoin needs to grow a lot bigger and become a lot more popular to reach the stability you are looking for, that is what the mass adoption stage will bring to bitcoin.

but since we are far from that day, price will still remain volatile and the current stable price is temporary. so soon price will start going up again after whales decided they have accumulated enough BTC
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The higher roller . on: July 17, 2016, 02:40:52 PM
Who do you think are the higher rollers...

Gamblers online at bitcoin casinos.
or
Gamblers that play at physical casinos ?

Finally, why do you think that physical casinos attract more or less people (excluding the fact that bitcoin is not mainstream)

it is obviously the gamblers who play at real physical casinos. you can always see a lot of big whales with a lot of money playing there in games like poker and stuff like that and have fun.

besides online gambling is a new concept that has not yet grown that big, and looking at high rollers in casinos i don't think those numbers are even big compared to real casinos.
1806  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Statistics on the growth of bitcoin? on: July 17, 2016, 02:37:07 PM
why is everybody just giving links to trading related charts and information, OP is asking about number of people using bitcoin and knowing about it, all those above links is only showing how much bitcoin is being traded and that only changes with price volatility!

for number of people using, you need to ask people like this that shows how many Brits know about bitcoin or this one or this article about 100 million user may help you get your answer.
1807  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin would currently be the worlds 5th most expensive stock on: July 17, 2016, 02:29:06 PM
According to https://financesonline.com/top-10-most-expensive-stocks-in-the-world-from-chipotle-to-berkshire-hathaway/ and many others if bitcoin was a stock it would come under the 5th most expensive at current prices.

Surely its just a matter of time before investors see the potential in bitcoin and we could end up at no1 on that list. What are your thoughts, and could bitcopin ever be shared on the stock exchange to compete with these top trading stocks?

this is very interesting to me to see all these stocks and price of bitcoin in comparison with them. because i always have this big question in my mind about why bitcoin is not so much bigger than the current situation. i mean it is so much better than all those stocks in the list and it has been improving over the years. so i don't get why not?!
1808  Economy / Speculation / Re: About Halving??? on: July 16, 2016, 01:23:34 PM
Halving just means reward per block will be halved from current 25 bitcoin per block to 12.5 bitcoin to rewards. And there is lot more speculation that bitcoin price will pumped because supply will be limited but we don't have to forget about there is already good supply of bitcoin currently circulating, only production rate of new bitcoin is halved. Price can go either down or up, hard to predict.

Anybody saying a price rise is guaranteed is lying, but it's very likely the price will rise over the next year. A big whale could crash the price by dumping tens of thousands of coins, although it's not probable if waiting for a rise would get a better price.

a whale is not a brainless human. a whale is someone with a lot of money and a lot of experience in investment and in bitcoin market who has been investing in bitcoin to make a big profit.

so do you really think what you said is even possible?!

although they do temporary dumps in small sizes to create temporary panic in order to buy more cheap coins at the bottom but they will never dump tens of thousands of coins, you should be an idiot to do that!
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Playing poker is a gambling activity? on: July 16, 2016, 01:16:13 PM
i play poker many times.
but didn't involved money in this game.so it's just a game for me.

Are you playing on other place than online casino, maybe you are playing with free-rolls tournaments so there you can play the poker without taking risk of money, poker is favorite game of gambling so that I think so playing poker is gambling.

Free roll tournaments are the best, you have fun for free and make a small profit so nice. Playing poker is not gambling entirely. You have a certain level of control over the outcome unlike gambling where you have none.

Sure there's a certain level of control, but in the end whether you lose or not is defined by your luck.

No amount of bluffing or skill is gonna win you any money if you constantly get low cards, luck plays a very important role in poker.

yeah you can call all these games whatever you like, you can call them gambling or you can call them money making machine.
but at the end of the day they are all following the same rule, and that is the rule of luck and it doesn't matter how skilled you are there will always be someone else more skilled than you which will beat you.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is possible to memorized the flow of dice results? on: July 16, 2016, 01:11:02 PM
Im just curious if any one of you already try to follow the flow and make it memorized or expect what will happen next, ijust noticed that there's a possibility that the "house" / system can detect you strategy that you are using especially martingale.

as long as the dice site you are playing at is not scamming you and as long as it is provably fair (which you can check it by the way) there is no way they can do any shenanigans and predict/change the result of your rolls.
although this is the feeling that we all get when we lose, we all want to blame someone else for our losses.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why fool yourself ? on: July 16, 2016, 01:01:06 PM
Why do people fool themselves when they gamble ? I hear many people many times say you should roll lots of 98% or 90% or whatever odds on dice.

That's a bad idea and way less profitable so why do people fool themselves into thinking its better to bet low odds.

Of you roll 50% or 5 rolls at 90% some people will tell you to do the 90% one. The chance is the same actually. You actually lose half your profit rolling at 90%

5rolls of 90% = 50% profit.

1 roll at 50% = 100% profit.

Ita basic maths people....

you forgot the most important point in all this:
this is gambling
so it doesn't matter which odds you choose, you should always go with the one that you feel good about and feel lucky. because it is all about luck.
people sometimes say bet on 90% because in case you get lucky and win early on, you can gain a lot of profit this way easily.
1812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Sell BTC anonymously on: July 16, 2016, 12:55:21 PM
Hello all. Can anyone advice me how to get rid of bitcoins anonymously? I know that there are markets, and I want to sell BTC but not to my bank account, but anonymously. Thank you

it depends on where you live. but the method is in short as follows:
1) find a person around you or living near so he can meet up face to face with you. you can find such person on localbitcoins.com or on any social media that is related to bitcoin like here or /r/bitcoin
2) arrange a meeting and go there with bitcoin on your phone wallet.
3) you send the bitcoin to him and he pays you back in cash.

step 0) important thing is to read that news about the guy who was rubbed at gunpoint in New York wanting to sell bitcoin face to face so you can avoid his mistakes.
1813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Currency Wars: Governments Hoarding BTC on: July 16, 2016, 12:49:13 PM
this sounds more like a conspiracy theory and an scary one for that matter if it ever happens, which i hope not.

also i have to say i doubt if it ever happens because if it happens and it becomes clear that governments are hoarding bitcoin then bitcoin can no longer be decentralized and people will leave to another project. so that would be the death of that country's government.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Games Are So Much Fun on: July 13, 2016, 08:05:49 AM
I am getting the hang of them more and more, and it's so hard not to bet everything away, LOL! My fav is freebitco.in though. Gosh... I have 20k sat there from the faucet, and all I want to do is use it all for betting, ha!

I am not addicted; the 20k is still there, but wow... I have an itch to scratch for sure.

i agree, i also love dice games and whatever i do i see myself coming back to playing dice games again. it is just too easy to play and i can even play it on my phone when i am stuck in traffic or on the bus or something.

but i don't like freebitco.in and i don't know why i keep seeing it pop up today on the forum. i think you should try some real dice sites to have the full experience of dice games not just a faucet full of advertisement.
1815  Other / Archival / Re: how to earn bitcoin fast? on: July 13, 2016, 08:01:04 AM
we want to  know how fast you earn 1 bitcoin? so that a newbie like me can learn more about bitcoin  and gives us encouragement to pursue bitcoin Grin

options you have:
1) [the most important one]: stop being lazy and start searching there is a lot of similar topics
2) sell something you don't need on the internet and take bitcoin in return. it can be digital or physical good.
3) start doing a job to earn bitcoin if you have any skills offer them as a freelancer and get paid in bitcoin
4) get a job in real world and earn real $$$ and then if you still like to "learn more about bitcoin" you can buy bitcoin with your $$$ that you have earned.
* and remember bitcoin is just like money nobody is going to give it to you for free!
1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you know BTC price will go down or up within a day? on: July 13, 2016, 07:55:24 AM
Since BTC price is important when it comes to trading, how do we know whether its price if going to slightly drop or go up a bit within the day?
I feel like I need to learn this while i get to now be trading altcoins regularly.

you are practically asking us to teach you technical analysis and all other things related to trading. but that would require a long course with at least a hundred pages of reading material so that you can understand how you can speculate that.

and in the end after learning all that you have to learn that all you learned so far have exceptions that can't be defined by any rules!
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: July 13, 2016, 07:51:23 AM
this is how gambling works it is a game of risk, you take a risk and sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. and when there is a house edge you have to know that so you change your strategy accordingly.

but what i don't get here is that why did you deposit on FreeBitCo.in it is a faucet! if you want to deposit in dice sites do it on a legit dice site that also has a better autobet experience and also a good provably fair system.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High bet amounts or low bet amounts? What is your style? on: July 13, 2016, 07:48:17 AM
it really depends on the type of game that i am playing. for example in betting on sports i tend to make bigger bets but also when i am playing games like Dice i change the amount a lot so i both make small and big bets.

i make small bets when i want to set in on auto bet and use martingale method, but i use bigger bets when i do it by hand and make the bets myself.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to make a gambling site? on: July 13, 2016, 07:40:52 AM
i don't think it is a good idea to start a big gambling site if you are new to this, maybe you should start from a smaller thing like making a testing site and then move from there.

also you can hire people who have experience to help you with this but that would require you to invest a bigger amount of money.
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto trading or gambling on: July 11, 2016, 11:49:38 AM
they can both be as bad as each other and you can lose the same amount in both if you don't know what you are doing in any of them. for example investing in ICOs is a bad idea because you end up losing most of the time because they scam you.

so as long as you have no experience and no strategy in either of them you can end up losing all your funds.
