1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: April 22, 2020, 04:00:12 PM
Yep, grammatical errors used to be one of the ways to dictate a scam, because they are usually careless in their spellings or they are just dumb. But that’s not the case this time around, scammers now take their time to create their project lol, and they make it look more professional as possible as it could.

I have seen a lot of scam projects that people fell for recently, and I noticed that they all looked perfect enough to deceive people. As for the other points you have listed, they are all perfect and can really help people to dictate when they are working on a scam project. People really needs to be wise these days and avoid these scammers. It can be heart-breaking to spend time and a lot of effort working on a particular project only to end up being scammed. So it’s better to find out early and quit.
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best project for investing in 2020? on: April 22, 2020, 02:09:14 PM
Tron is a good cryptocurrency to consider. The platform has been growing and they made an acquisition of Steemit and BitTorrent, and despite the challenges they have had with these, I still believe that they are one of the best options for anyone to consider. You already have Bitcoin, another cryptocurrency you shouldn’t neglect is Ethereum. It’s the second biggest cryptocurrency in the world, and most of the times it’s a good choice for any investor.

Another good cryptocurrency to invest your money in this 2020 is DASH. A blog once hinted that Dash might still benefit , despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, because people might start adopting it for transaction. I am not sure about that, because I have always expected people to adopt Bitcoin and no other cryptocurrencies.
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is your expectation still high on the halving on: April 22, 2020, 12:41:23 PM
We have a lot of expectations in the halving in fact our expectations are very high before this pandemic especially those new in the market and the first time to experience halving, now is your expectation still high in the coming halving even if we are in the middle of a pandemic.
Right from time my expectation has not been high. I’ve been cool about this halving, and I am not really much expecting any bull run to happen. The way I usually see it, there might just be a bit of an increase and the price might stay at a stable rate quite for some months before the bull run will start.

I have been here before the 2016 halving and the halving that took place in 2017; I joined this is community in 2014. If it’s going to be the same thing that’s going to happen now, then we shouldn’t be too excited, because there are still more months to go before anything bull run, unless it’s going to be a different case this time around which is what I want.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 21, 2020, 06:49:23 PM
Yeah no insurance for this covid-19.. But Australia trying their best for this Aus vs Ind series and not ruling out any possible window with even empty grounds.

Good article about CA current situation.

CA will explore creative solutions to stage India series

Well... I trust CA when they say that they'll explore creative options. Anything is welcome, with the exception of "virtual" BS... I can't just tolerate all these virtual stuff going on these days. Cricket Australia was the first board to use stadiums with retractable roof for international cricket matches (please correct me in case I am wrong). So I guess we can expect something similar and innovative this time as well.
I guess there is nothing going to be innovative as they have already tried playing behind closed doors. It means cricket Australia may host India without admitting any audience into stadium. Already they did this for the match against New Zealand just before the covid19 outbreak started. So, I guess they do not need to think hard if India will be agreeing to play behind the closed doors.

Before that, Sri Lanka may host IPL by May month if BCCI agrees to host this 2020 edition of IPL behind the doors but in Sri Lanka. I guess BCCI must be studying such a possibilities as news agencies confirm about Sri Lanka's proposal to host IPL this year.

Casinos could still make a loss as well, just because it has a house edge doesn't mean that they will always profit forever and never lose any money, there is a reason why some casinos go bankrupt as well.

If we were talking about unlimited amount of money to cover for all the losses any casino would make a profit in a long enough period however casinos do not have unlimited amount of money neither, most of them start this investment option because of that because thousands of people getting together to bankroll the casino is something quite important for the future profits of it.

However when a casino has limited bankroll, and some whale comes in and plays the max constantly and ends up winning a lot, it sets you back, just as you start to earn small by small like expected, another whale could come in and destroy it, few of these in a row and casino will run out of money to pay before they could actually profit.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the first reason why fraud projects are increasingly rampant? on: April 20, 2020, 09:25:22 PM
I always complain about ICO projects not just because of rewards? but because of the increasingly rampant project fraud!

on the other hand the first reason why we find it difficult to know about fraud projects or not, because almost most ICO projects look real !!
and this is very unexpected, that there is a site that offers services to create an ICO project complete with ERC20 Tokens!
with only $ 50 a person can make millions of dollars from the results of fraudulent projects HuhHuhHuh

https://www.fiverr.com/wedowo/create-your-ico-website-and-erc20-token

imagine if this continues, then the rich will increasingly become rich !! scamers
I guess you may create an ERC20 token even for just $10 as someone offered dead cheaper coding in our services board if I remember correctly. I guess, just having a new ERC tokens will not be enough to kick off a project and to scam this community in the name of ICO. They must be needing lots of other set up to show us like a highly legit project.

It means I guess just spending 50 will not be enough to launch a scammy ICO in my opinion. Also, when the cost required to run an ICO increases then the chances for new ICOs for scam intentions may get reduced somehowe right?
1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which projects do you hold? Which ones do you believe in? on: April 20, 2020, 05:25:43 PM
When you are making investments by believing into someone's project and their promises about future developments, why not invest into a company's stock in your country instead, because when you deal in stock there are plenty of chances for not getting scammed (making profits will be possible only we are sure about not choosing a scammy thing) as they may have a real business unlike how most alcoins/tokens doing in this crypto space.

ICOs had changes crypto space just like stock investments/trading. But, I guess it would be much better to invest only on bitcoins rather than investing ICOs based coins. If you look for ICO's big promises of enormous profits then investing in stocks could be a btte options rather than struggling in crypto spaces.
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we are not having more sites like freebitco.in[unique cases of freebitco.in] on: April 20, 2020, 04:18:42 PM
Well, while some casinos offer you nothing even if you lose all your money, there are some platforms out there that let you at least have a little fun with free faucet claims. Using the earnings to entertain your customers even more is a smart tactic to make your customers deposit even more.
Yes, this could be the reason why freebitco.in is surviving for years along with their unique features. They allow us to claim faucets even our balance is not yet emptied. It means you may keep on playing with them even with additional money to keep going if you are profitably gambling which is not at all possible with most other crypto casino. When you are supporting your gamblers with unique ideas then obviously they will keep depositing which could be leading to huge success after years.

I don't think Satoshi is/was behind any of the existing platforms.. it just doesn't look to me like Satoshi had much of a financial interest when he created cryptocurrencies. He launched BTC and just let it grow like a little child. Smiley
But, looking out the site's statistics, anyone will doubt about Satoshi's contribution on such business. Because, with still running faucet feature of this site makes why they are doing that unless otherwise it is not about spreading bitcoin awareness to new people but also for attracting gamblers.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some casino gambling tips. on: April 20, 2020, 03:42:05 PM
I think you are right but some people can be in a desperate situation where they have lost their jobs and once they wait to start a new they think to play as a last resort.I was one of them in the beginning of the isolation and played slots thinking if I hit the jackpot I can solve all of my financial problems. There are many in this situation and who think the same.I don’t blame them.
That is basically a wrong mindset,

Instead of saving your money, you even played slot but I don't blame you because you have your own decisions to make. Also, it is normal for everyone to think of an easy way to earn even knowing that it is very risky.
If you go for studying why people are gambling, almost 99% of gamblers are dreaming about solving their financial problem overnight. Only when they look for easy solution for their financial problems, they are choosing gambling. That must be really pathetic situation because instead of solving their financial problems they are losing their previous savings as well. It means they're making their situation more worst than before.

The basic gambling tip which have been emphasized to all of us for years is, do not gamble for making profits. If you remember this then you will never try gambling for the reason of solving your financial crisis. I also agree that must be a wrong mindset for getting into gambling.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 20, 2020, 03:05:59 PM
Basically, martingale strategy is all about recovering our losses which will be possible only when we double the betting. So, if you hit profits then you must move on to test your luck again. If you  hit losses then you should work on recovering your losses. So, it makes sense to double the betting after losses and sticking with same bet after profits.
This must be one of the best explanation about what is martingale strategy. I just want to add a little more from what I have observed with this strategy. If you notice, almost all the strategies are working on eliminating losses but making profit is just based on our skill or luck factors.

This is because if you are able to recover the losses somehow then you can keep making profits. This is how exactly martingale strategy is working. So, doubling the betting after a loss is really a good decision. If you do not recover losses immediately then how you could focus on making profits. I just believe martingale strategy must be one of the greatest invention of mankind but unfortunately it is not working in this crypto gambling world.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 19, 2020, 06:40:23 PM
Unfortunately, it is not only about money or test kits available to them neither, sometimes it is more about infrastructure as well. Let's say test kits are free wherever they are made, and could be sent, or better yet we all know how test kits could be produced and shared with the underdeveloped nations, they do not have the facilities to make them or even if somehow they get their hands on some free ones they do not have any sort of number of hospitals or places enough to get thousands of people per day and get them all tested, which is why this is not just about money.

You can have all the money in the whole world, you can have all the tests available, literally one test per person (hell two if you want to make sure) and if you do not have the infrastructure for it, you won't be able to test too much per day.
1812  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 19, 2020, 05:43:23 PM
China literally has 20+ trillion in bonds and other stuff, so I doubt they would be really affected as much as you might imagine, they do have enough investments all around the world that would basically make sure that they would never get crushed unless they do something stupid. They would basically buy anything they want in exchange of the debts they are owed and that way they could continue to operate for a long long time at which period we would basically all be over corona anyway so it is unlikely that another wave could do anything to corona.

I hope that they do get a bit of economical crash in the long run because I do not like their government but the sad thing is, if the nation loses some money the rich will continue to live the same, poor will get more poor, that is the sad part.
1813  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 19, 2020, 03:54:06 PM
Why do people think that China will be doing alright after all of this is over? Do you not realize that demand for Chinese products literally dropped down because of this virus?

I know for a fact that if you put some items into a container for weeks on and with a cargo and send it to another nation, by the time it comes to the new nation virus can't survive there, yet for some reason all the Chinese products in my nation is at clearance for like 70% discount and still staying there, you would think on a period when everyone is lacking funding and nobody really has money or even not sure about their job, you would see the products with 70% discount would go off the shelves right? All the other ones who are not on discount is constantly finishing, yet the Chinese products with 70% discount stands still.
1814  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: April 19, 2020, 03:25:50 PM
I think we are looking at cheaper and cheaper in the future. Think about it, why was it hard for the internet companies to actually provide it? One of the reasons was sending something to outer space and honestly that used to cost so much money that companies that were so HUGE would still have doubts over it, nowadays it is getting cheaper and cheaper. I can literally send something for as low as 100k, of course it is like a toy car sized thing but I can, so its getting cheaper.

All of those routers have to come from somewhere, and eventually we will basically have cheaper and cheaper computers that are better and better, think about it, 20 years ago the computers we have right now wouldn't even be possible to think about and in 20 years these computers will be old story, which means routers will get a lot better as well. So when we are talking about everything that makes internet possible getting cheaper, why would itself be any more expensive?
1815  Economy / Economics / Re: China will rule world as economy king after crisis end? on: April 18, 2020, 05:51:56 PM
As we see everyday many people are dying every day in Europe and America and their economy is going down every day and economy specialties are guessing that the USA will lose his position as economy king and china will take over and we are already seeing that china economy didn't drop much and there already making money in this crisis.
Well, we are not 100% sure about this. But there have been some theories that China have planned this for a long time and were the cause of it. I am not sure if what people are saying is the truth, but I have seen a lot of people that are saying this on Twitter. And I also saw news on Twitter that the Chinese were buying up lots of companies in Italy, does anyone know whether this is true or not?

There are lots of things that have been said about this and if you look at everything that has happened, it makes it seem like they have planned the Coronavirus pandemic and released it to bring down the world economy and grow theirs. I wouldn't like to believe that tho'.
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Experts On Bitcoin on: April 18, 2020, 04:52:10 PM
Yup, Bitcoin is really good as an investment if you have plans to invest in it for a long term. Another thing is that it's always good to know when you should invest, because if you invest in the wrong time, you might still be losing money after holding it for a long term; you can imagine those that invested their money around 2018 when the price of Bitcoin crashed to a low price. Till now a lot of those people have not been able to recover the money they lost in Bitcoin.

So, it's good to make proper plans, and know that situations such as what we have seen this year, can happen any time, though I don't pray for it to happen again.
1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is why bitcoin is unique. on: April 18, 2020, 04:23:15 PM
Transfer of more than 1 billion, US dollars, and a commission of 0.7 cents.

Which bank will allow you to do as well?
That is why bitcoin is a great creation.

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/b36bced99cc459506ad2b3af6990920b12f6dc84f9c7ed0dd2c3703f94a4b692
That shows the level of freedom that Bitcoin can give you. With the use of Bitcoin you are able to do whatever amount of transaction you want to do and not have any problem with anybody. But, try using other payment methods and you will start getting serious questions on why you're sending such an amount, the next thing you're filling a paperwork. That's if you will ever be able to carry out that amount of transaction at once. So, Bitcoin gives you a lot of freedom, though some people tend to misuse the freedom they are given.

I guess when we make use of lightening network and segwit kinds of development everywhere by more number of people then fees required for such big transactions may come lower to be considered like 0%. Those such days are not far away, expect them to experience in real soon.
1818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: April 18, 2020, 03:31:43 PM
Seriously, I have tried to imagine this in some different ways to see whether it would be possible, but the way I see it, it would be difficult to achieve. But anyway, nothing is impossible, you just have to believe that it is possible to do whatever it is and then work hard towards it.

Cryptocurrency addresses are always a very long combination of numbers and letters. Even if it was possible to input a touch and read feature into these cryptocurrency wallet apps, I am wondering how these people will be doing all that, like copying the address of the receiver and then pasting and sending and stuff. Let's just wait until then.
1819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to keep life savings more secured on: April 17, 2020, 08:17:29 AM
This is about coinomi wallet, I came across few posts on this forum saying they lose coins in coinomi wallet, some said coinomi wallet team insert a backdoor in the wallet to steal people's fund, how true is this?

Second question is, can you get me the list of open source wallet since coinomi wallet is closed source? What about trust wallet is it truly an open source wallet? Thanks
Yup, I do have the Trust wallet app and it works perfectly for me. Mobile wallets have been the main thing I make use of, and that's because I am fond of my mobile device and hardly make use of my desktop.

I started making use of Blockchain, one thing I like about their wallet is that every single minute I want to receive payment I am able to generate a new address and I can also backup my funds using the twelve phrase backup. Next is the interface, it's very simple, unlike the wallets that are crowded and ugly.

I installed Coinomi and Mycelium wallets, but u never used them because I never liked them. I chose Trust Wallet, it's very much better than other open wallets. I saved Bitcoin in it and backed it with the 12 word backup phrase and uninstalled the wallet for some months, and when I installed it back and entered my backup phrase, the same amount of BTC I stored showed up.
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Best Cryptocurrency Wallets on: April 17, 2020, 07:29:24 AM
Your list is very good, but I don't think there are some very good wallets that you have not added here, especially in the mobile wallets section. Jaxx wallet might be good, but I wouldn't say it's better than most wallets I have used. Last time I used the Jaxx wallet, it was very bad and was always slow in loading. It's a good wallet, but not to my taste, not even the design.

I would say that Trust wallet is a better wallet than Jaxx, and apart from Trust Wallet, we have Blockchain, Coinbase mobile wallet, Xapo and BitPay. I prefer these ones more than the Jaxx wallet you have mentioned. Other ones you have mentioned for Hardware, Desktop and Online are good.
