1801  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather see steady growth in Bitcoin or strong upward spikes instead? on: March 04, 2018, 08:37:39 PM
I would like to see a steady growth in the price of bitcoin and i really like the range bound price range we are seeing now, because you can just buy when the market is down and sell when it reaches a resistance point and then again we would see a correction, how cool that kind of market would be  Cheesy I would like to see a gradual growth in the price rather than spikes but i wont mind these spikes too.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ~BTC in Medical Industry on: March 04, 2018, 08:16:09 PM
Is it possible someday that Medical Hospitals accept BTC as a payment for Hospital bills and other fees??
It all depends upon choices they make,if anyone wanted to accept bitcoin, they can and now the transaction charges have come down and so expect many retailers start accepting bitcoin now and may be in the future some hospitals or clinics will start accepting bitcoin ,it is a matter of time we will see major companies accepting it once again.
1803  Economy / Economics / Re: Bill Gates says crypto-currencies cause deaths on: March 04, 2018, 07:50:26 PM
Crypto-currencies are killing people in a "fairly direct way", Microsoft founder Bill Gates has said.
He was referring to the way digital currencies like Bitcoin are used to buy drugs like synthetic opioid fentanyl.
In an "ask me anything" session on news website Reddit, he said that the anonymity of digital currencies meant they were linked to terrorist funding and money laundering.
Some criticised him, saying he was ill-informed about the technology.
The news looks like ,bitcoin is the only way to purchase these drugs and fund terrorism ,it is just a plot to undermine the real use of technology,i am not sure Gates would make these claims as he was really positive with one of his earlier interviews a few years back, there might be people dealing illegal things with it but fiat money is used most of the time if you are going to blame a currency. 1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 222: Cyborg vs Kunitskaya Prediction and Info Thread on: March 04, 2018, 07:15:41 PM
It was a crazy fight card with five split decision victories which is a record in a single event, the judging are awful as every state has their own set of rules and regulations, they need to set things and make a single MMA rule world wide rather than different rules on judging the fight, the sport has grown a lot a still we are confused with different rules, the biggest upset was Alexander Hernandez knocking Beneil Dariush in his first UFC fight.
1805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do countries and banks keep dumping on Cryptocurrency? on: March 03, 2018, 09:13:02 PM
@ OP i understand that you are new to crypto currency trading and the market trend just changed from the free flowing growing market to an unstable market when you started trading, these things happen and it will change at a later stage,we will have regulations but no one is going to ban bitcoin, the market will move according to the news and that is nothing new, just hold on to your coins.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 03, 2018, 08:25:08 PM
This is where NZ are still behind when compared to other top teams in the world . They have good team with talented players but fail to win easy matches and they often win close ones . It was an interesting contest though Smiley
It was a really close match, the pitch was really difficult to bat on and England just pulled off a good win in the end ,even with Williamson on the crease till the last over, they could not pull off the victory as Woakes bowled a pretty good last over and Moin Ali made the difference by taking three wickets and the run of Santner made the difference.
1807  Economy / Economics / Re: Vitalik Buterin sold himself on: February 26, 2018, 11:59:44 PM
Ok, how come the creator of one of the main cryptocurrencies had the idea to suggest us to invest in traditional assets?
Which also means he is telling us to keep all our money in a government-controlled bank, while the main purpose of crypto is to save us from the gov robbery and banks.
Somebody tell me how much did they pay him to say that insane sentence.
If he's not out of his mind, they threaten him to death ?
To be frank that is his opinion and you have to understand that everyone can have their own opinion. He does not believe that his invention could create the future,he is just trying out his luck and reap their benefits as long at it goes and see from there  Cheesy .I am not too sure about the context of the speech, either way i am not into crypto currency to have the best investment platform, but to be part of the innovative one. 1808  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: February 26, 2018, 10:03:20 PM
There are coins that made people millionaires and i can understand that,it is the beginning and there will be new coins that keep coming up and may be give the opportunity to make money, any thing is possible when it comes to a new market and if you are willing to risk, you might get lucky, you missed some train does not mean that you missed all the trains.   Tongue  Cheesy
1809  Economy / Speculation / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back to 6000? should i sell now? on: February 26, 2018, 09:49:08 PM
Actually, everything can be, because Bitcoin has never been characterized by a stable coin. But I can say one thing, that this year already some exchangers showed the results of the price of 6 500 dollars. But if this figure returns again and the price goes down, Bitcoin's trust will be completely lost.
Everyone knows that the price of bitcoin is not stable and is volatile ,the chances of prices going below $6000 depends upon the market sentiment around the world and if that happens you cannot do anything nor you can predict about it,that does not mean that people will loose trust in bitcoin, with time the price will recover,we have seen that in the past and that will happen in the future too. 1810  Economy / Economics / Re: The effects of Samsung getting into ASIC mining on: February 26, 2018, 09:37:22 PM
There is a monopoly at hands when it comes to bitcoin mining ASIC and bitmain is ruling that with iron fist for a very long time ,killing its competition and controlling the price of the hardware and nearly doubling their profit by increasing the margin by a long way and with Samsung concentrating their efforts on creating good miners,it is going to be a healthy battle rather than one monopoly ruling the entire mining industry.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 26, 2018, 09:21:56 PM
Overall it is a good series for India as they won the ODI and T20 series and this helps them for the forthcoming tri series between INDIA - Lanka & Bangladesh.  Also beating SA in their home ground advantage is a very big thing for the Indians to boost their confidence and will makes them the favorites for upcoming series.
India has played really well and the way in which they won the limited over tournament was astonishing,is India playing really well and can beat anyone in the world or South Africa was playing badly in the shorter format,i would like to see India play England and Australia at this time rather than Sri lanka and Bangladesh, with the performance they had they can easily defeat both those teams.
1812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: February 26, 2018, 08:35:55 PM
And it will remain so for a long time.
No government, no parties can effectively ban it and put their hand on it. They would have to ban internet first. Not likely.
That would be the end of free world we know.
The factors you are implying is not going to happen,so do not worry about that, but are you telling that you are living in a free world,i really differ that, you and your activities are linked for ever,do you really doubt that, you internet provider or your smart phone will give your entire details if any government wants to snoop into your activities ,so the good old free world is gone,a long time back. 1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting in bitcoin is legal or illegal? on: February 26, 2018, 07:33:15 PM
If you are worrying about the law regarding betting online with bitcoin, let me tell you this, most countries does not have any rules regarding online gambling in the first place and not many countries are aware of bitcoin based gambling and more over some of the top countries are trying to put some rules and regulations but one thing is sure they cannot monitor everything whether you are gambling or not with bitcoin,so do not worry about that. 1814  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: February 26, 2018, 07:02:27 PM
Do you think that Bitcoin has become too slow to compete with the relatively quick alt coins out there? Is it realty competitive to have a slow community rather than a centralised decision making in development?

In other words, does the community effect of decentralisation enough to counterbalance the difficult decision making processes?
You might notice that other coins are moving faster and can be used now,one thing you have to understand is,if there is a user base like bitcoin, then those coins wont move either, just check the movement after the activation of segwit is taking place and the transaction charges are lower now and the speed is improving,so no more complaints for me here.
1815  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: February 25, 2018, 09:54:45 PM
After 5 years I think a lot about Bitcoin first, I think Bitcoin will be a very surprising increase then I think Bitcoin will become a inter-country accepted currency and after that big increase I think that it will remain stuck in the currency for years. So 5 years later Bitcoin reached the summit I believe even the summit can pass.
I just stumble upon this post,it was funny in the beginning, but i really could not understand the rest of the post, what do you mean by inter country accepted, did you mean the merchants accepting it,yes it might happen when they are deemed to be moved in without much hurdle and with less transaction fees,i did not understand the summit thing, you could have explained the summit thing better.  Tongue
1816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women in the cryptocurrency industry on: February 25, 2018, 09:42:02 PM
Every so often I run into an article that talks about how few women are involved in this industry compared to men. My suspicion is that there are more women involved than anyone realizes; they're just not putting their gender front and center.
I am not happy to see a gender war when it comes to crypto currency,if anyone is interested then they are more than welcome, irrespective of gender caste what every it may be,i cannot understand why anyone could bring a distinction on who is using and so on. There might be a lot of women or they might not be,who cares ,at the end of it,everyone is welcome here.
1817  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bistler block accounts without presenting evidence,They are stealing the money o on: February 24, 2018, 11:19:21 PM
I addressed them, they told that I would provide them all ip addresses from which I came into game.I told them that I have no such information ,they said it was not their problem and that I'd contacted my Internet provider. After that, I never have Affairs with them, they've stolen more than a million of Satos .That was over a year ago. I created this topic because these players very much .Yes, they used the tap ,but it is not prohibited . Many have lost 2-3 million Satos .I believe that the casino has no right to block the account. If you think the player has broken the rules then give him back his money ,and only after that block .And they block money, demand to provide them information which plaer does not have .
Is this the way you come up with a scam accusation against a site, what were you doing for the past one year and what made you to tell this to the world all of a sudden.  Cheesy I have not heard about people loosing satoshis before  ,do you really think that a site with reputation will spoil everything for a tiny drop of coins. If you can tell your user name as the support team asked,do provide that,if not i do think you are asking for a negative rep for false accusation.
1818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins' pullback is over! on: February 24, 2018, 10:31:24 PM
Instead of using flat numbers like $500 etc. it would be much better if everyone invests a percentage of their income/savings.
Personally, I would without hesitation suggest putting 5%-20% of your fiat money into Bitcoin - you can't go wrong with that amount.
Even if something will go wrong - your investment is still diversified enough - so it won't be a total failure.
I used to invest some money into bitcoin every month and i used to have a good time gambling too,but once the price of bitcoin crossed $2k ,it is really a hard task on my part to use it as an investment, because the transaction charges were the biggest hurdle earlier, but things are coming back to normal and i do expect the price of bitcoin to recover, but there are other coins which gives you a higher return and i will convert that back to bitcoin in the long term.  Wink
1819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have the fees gone down? on: February 24, 2018, 09:54:12 PM
I just transferred about 1 BTC to a wallet and the fee was something like 20 cents. Is that right? I recall having fees of $25 back in December for the same amount. I'm using Segwit by the way.
That is true ,the transaction charges have come down considerably and even if you are not using segwit the charges are lower now,it looks like the old days are coming back, the age when there was no charges basically and i really hope that things go like this in the future too,if so we will be having more support from users for the ease of use and the options to spend in different places.
1820  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN fall less than 9K USD! on: February 24, 2018, 09:31:35 PM
And it looks like you do not understand anything apparently. Roll Eyes

The value has dropped to $9420 closer to going below $9k as projected by the thread that you are replying to.
The OP is not predicting the exact price or charts,he was just talking about the price during Feb 1 which went well below $9 k and recovered and if you look at the current market situation, the price of bitcoin recovered after the dump and now we are yet having a bit of a correction after a good movement,i am not exactly sure why the market is going down, but i am sure it will recover .
