Давно уж жду свои кровные 0.02776069 BTC. Курочка по зёрнышку клюёт... )

Да хоть заапайте - дорого. Все, кто хотел, давно уже заказали с сайта самих Bitmain... Таможню проходят "на ура", что называется...

Has anyone else tried this antMiner_S320150109.bin?

hence mining in itself is not profitable for a long run
Even if it is - this is only at current bitcoin price in fiat money.

Can I buy several controller boards seperately, just to have some spare parts for S5 owners here in Russia?
your s3 has a TON of hwe.. it might be worth a repaste. plus i dont see your difficulty..
update to the 12/19 firmware and see how that works..
if the difficulty is low on the s3 the shares will be low..
Oh, come on!.. According to this formula: HW / (diffA + diffR + HW) * 100 he has very few HW error rate. 0.00035% if I counted correctly.

As its a custom firmware, there is always a chance it can brick and then you'll have to send your controller in to be reflashed.
It is very "convenient" for final consumers. Why don't Bitmain issue a technique of reflashing the controller at home in case of any failures?

Well I just might give in and buy an S2 off amazon... Yes or no?
No. Since we don't know about any kind of upgrade kit for S2s - no. It is very inefficient in sense of power - here is another "no". Take S5 instead.

Now is too late. I'm going to sleep. Maybe tomorrow...
p.s. can it brick my S5?
I can ping the host "stratum.triplemining.com", but it's status in my S5 is "Dead" no matter whether I try to mine there with my old worker or with worker that has just been created... What's wrong?..

You'll excuse me for leaving you... Now wait for the block, this pool will find it soon. It is always like this.

I know this post is old, I am new to overlocking too.
...does anyone have a guide to how to best overclock these miners? Do I just turn the frequency up? What is the safest level to do so?
I have. You can look at my S5 overclocking results and see that there is no sence to rise the frequency above 400.

What offer to put that ram heatsink?? Will have more speed?
We'll see. ) It's just to improve reliability of hashing boards. But may be it will also give us less temperatures since more heat will be dissipated...

is this what happens when it reaches 80 C or does this mean that it went above 80 C? The unit still turns on and I can see that I have it set to turn off if it reaches 80 C, but it doesnt look like it did The unit powers on and I can get to it via the network but it wont hash - I figured it out when I took the sides off and found the burned board. I dont have any thermal events on my other miners. Ooohh, that's why I'm about to glue a little radiators exactly on all of those capacitors (since they are marked as C12, C25 and so on whan you look at PCB). I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

Exactly. Tomorrow there will be already one week of my "pissing away", and I'll move my S5 to another pool.
Please give us a kind of statistics. At least like at kano.is - the list of the workers/accounts with their speed.
p.s. Pool's speed is 0 Gh again...
