1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Qualifying on: July 26, 2022, 06:22:10 PM
Sheriff managed to surprise everyone last season, but so far can't do anything in the qualifying round. I thought that after last year's triumph they would have no problem getting into this season's Champions League. Also from today's matches, I consider Dinamo Zagreb to be a good contender to win. I think they will beat Shkupi.
1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUSD or USDT? Which stablecoin is safer? on: July 26, 2022, 01:14:57 PM
I think these stabelcoins are equally safe, if you can call it that. USDT belongs to Bitfinex, BUSD belongs to Binance. So all these tokens are owned by exchanges, and if something happens to them, these stablecoins could crash. But personally I still trust USDT, for me it is time tested.
1843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Russian Premier League 2022/23 Season on: July 26, 2022, 09:53:56 AM
An excelent beginning for cska moscow team, they started the season with two home wins scoring five goals and conceiding none they seem to be playing well at home now we will have to see them when they play away and after few rounds we can judge if they can compete for the title.
It's only the start of the season, but CSKA have still got off to a good start. But Dynamo, Spartak and Zenit have also shown good football, although they haven't won their first two games, but they haven't lost either. However, these teams are always at the top of the standings, so the battle for the lead between them will continue throughout the season.
1844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 25, 2022, 05:13:56 PM
Just over 5 months to go until the end of the year and bitcoin hasn't even risen to at least 25k after such a big drop. If one imagines that from current positions it should do x5 in 5 months, I certainly don't believe it. Of course there has to be a bounce, because there is no such thing as a permanent drop, but it certainly won't be 100k.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casino Trends For 2022 on: July 25, 2022, 04:43:51 PM
Let me just add you that the resurgence of online casinos might be due to the pandemic. Everyone is at home and those gamblers wanted to continue so they go online and play and that's why the sudden downturn as far as numbers of gamblers going to traditional land base casinos.

But as we go back to normal, casinos are going back live now, I'm going to land base casino's at the start of the year and the last time I check, the numbers seem to be back. It's just a matter of preference now, whether gamblers who play online will go back to their favorite land base casinos because of the ambience, or play at the comfort of their home.
But I must say that even the pandemic has become the new normal, online casinos has gained more huge  success these days as gamblers are enjoying playing at the expense of their homes. While some of the people go back to land based casinos to gamble because there’s always a different ambience when you play seeing your opponents, I believe a lot are still gambling online because they also find it more enjoyable and convenient that way.
Online casinos became popular even before the pandemic. I think it's because of government bans, and internet technology is developing very fast. If the places you used to go to have been closed in your city, now you can easily gamble from the comfort of your own home. The atmosphere is certainly not the same as it was in reality, but the meaning hasn't changed.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 25, 2022, 07:38:08 AM
England and Sweden play tomorrow. In my opinion, both teams have roughly the same chances, but I still prefer England. Although the Swedes have had much stronger teams in the group than England, and they have won them all. It will be interesting to see if they can beat England too.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 24, 2022, 09:38:51 AM

Yeah.. their squad for 1998 was one of the strongest they ever sent to the FIFA World Cups. But still they failed to win the trophy and finished up in the second place (France won the cup that time, thanks to the goals from Zinedine Zidane and Emmanuel Petit). They won the title in 2002, and that squad had players including Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos, Kaká and Edílson. Anyway, there is no point in comparing with the squads form two decades earlier. Even this time, Brazil is having really good players such as Neymar, Richarlison, Gabriel Jesus and Philippe Coutinho.

Though Brazil has players like Neymar but I don't think there squad is as strong as they were in 1998 and 2002. EU teams like Germany, Netherlands are more stronger then Brazil. Brazil is favorite in every worldcup but for last few years there performance has dropped significantly.
The squad  Brazil used to have back then was one of the strongest squad,  I don't still think if Germany is still stronger than Brazil.  Brazil has always kept that good record of having good performance in every world cup. Apart from Neymar their still good players in Brazil who ate still the strength of the team.
Who is the stronger of the two can only be shown by their match. I also think that Brazil are very well prepared for this championship, but judging by their shameful loss in the other World Cup, which incidentally was held in Brazil, they definitely need revenge. By the way, no one expected Germany to defeat Brazil with a huge score.
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: POSSIBLE THINGS TO HELP US TO WIN AT CRYPTO CASINOS on: July 24, 2022, 05:54:09 AM
I don't know any strategy on how to win at the slots, much less a large sum. These machines aren't made to win money, they're made for entertainment. While playing, it may happen that you win some amount of money to give the feeling that you can win, but in the end all the money will be lost. But you'll have a good time if you enjoy playing slots.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 23, 2022, 10:14:00 AM
I think Lazio played very poorly last season and if they want to buy an almost old player, it won't add to their comfort level. Marcelo is not a Ronaldo or even Ibrahimovic level player. It's not a player of that high calibre, although with the national team and Real Madrid he has achieved victories. But this time his transition looks like a relegation because of his age.

Maybe another two or three years he can certainly still play in Serie A. Physically indeed he has begun to diminish but his experience will help Lazio, if this transfer is true. Lazio certainly need him to improve his strengths and certainly play in Europe. He just keeps trying to keep his physical strength so he can continue to have a regular place at Lazio. He has played alongside Madrid for almost 15 years. Of course he has had many titles with madrid.
My point was that most likely his quality of play no longer fit Real Madrid and he was transferred to Lazio. For him personally it could be seen as a relegation - leaving the best club in Europe or even the world. It happens to all star players. In Serie A, another good example of such a player is Frank Ribery. Only Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed his status so far.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 22, 2022, 03:36:42 PM
Lazio have officially begin to negotiate with Marcelo and Sari really wants to get him to Rome. Also the rumors are they offered him a 3 years contract as that is nuts as he is already 34 but I have a feeling that he can still play at top level even when he's turning 37. I do hope Marcelo comes to Lazio as this team will fight for Europe spots again this year of Serie A.
Even though he is old, Marcelo's power is still very high considering the way he plays and contributes to the team. Yes he still deserves to play in a team at the top level, his ability is unquestionable. He will give something to the team he is strengthening I'm sure of that. His experience will be felt for the team.

1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu's future on: July 21, 2022, 06:40:00 PM
I don't know what the future holds for this coin, but it doesn't even have its own blockchain, like DOGE. Shiba ranks very high in market capitalisation, while representing nothing at all. It doesn't make sense, but there must be big market players behind it, otherwise there is no explanation.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 21, 2022, 10:55:40 AM
Today, the neighbouring countries Germany and Austria meet. There's probably no doubt that Germany will win this game and Austria won't be able to score. Judging by the way Germany has played in previous games against strong teams, Austria has no chance today. I'm sure Germany will make it to the next round.
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Profitable are Gambling Bots? on: July 20, 2022, 06:50:11 PM
personally I think bots take all the fun away from gambling.
You are correct mate. The purpose of gambling to me is to have fun and for entertainment. But if someone or something does the gambling for you, the fun and entertainment is therefore eliminated. It is not worth it, it can only worth it if you are using gambling as a business or for investment, you won't care about the fun or entertainment but the money that comes with it. By this then it is justifiable to depend on bots only if it works.
True, if the bots know how to work on gambling sites. And as we know, when some algorithms are changed by the casino, the bots may not work properly. To be honest, I have tried trading bots on the exchange, and very often encountered frequent setup problems due to market manipulation. I think it looks about the same in casinos.
1854  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was $17.5K the low? on: July 20, 2022, 04:11:04 PM
Today bitcoin has reached 24k, which is about 40% of the expected bottom at 17.5k. Unless a reversal back to the bottom happens at these levels, we can say that 17.5k was indeed the bottom. But I wouldn't be too quick to buy now, it's too easy to buy for all those wishing to buy at those prices. There is a chance that the bottom will be tested again.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 20, 2022, 09:28:28 AM
I knew of one case where 2 lower division clubs in Georgia were caught for match-fixing. These clubs were fined only $3k each. That's all the punishment. At the same time no one knows how much money they were able to earn through dishonest means. Therefore, such games will occur often, because the punishment is too weak.

Strange punishment. Probably this case remained at the "local" level because any sports federation would have issued a tougher punishment for the clubs that were caught on fixed games. Maybe it was some kind of scandal without direct evidence, so the clubs were fined on some formal pretext, but the underlying crime was not proven. However, it is obvious that the smaller the level of competition, the more chaos, corruption and dirty deeds.
Yes, two clubs were relegated from the second division to the lowest division, the fine was only $3k and some players received personal fines, but the amounts there are even smaller, something like $800. They say they could face criminal liability, but I don't believe that. Eventually this will be forgotten and everything will go back to normal.

1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: July 19, 2022, 05:57:15 PM
I think XRP has a good future. There is a reason why it is at the top of coinmarketcap. I think that once the SEC case is heard by the court and the story is successfully resolved, we will see a good pump for XRP. Especially since the price is at the bottom like all other coins right now.
1858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Mt. Gox coins affect Bitcoin’s price in August? on: July 18, 2022, 03:25:14 PM
Usually rumours about Mt Gox have adversely affected the market, but these are just rumours. If bitcoins do get distributed to previous owners, they will not necessarily sell them. Especially I don't think such amount will be distributed in several transactions. Most likely this process will be done in parts and will last for a long time. Therefore it seems to me that all this will not affect the market much.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can change of environment have an effect on gambling addiction. on: July 18, 2022, 10:31:46 AM
If we live in times when the internet isn't available then it is impossible to develop a gambling disorder because there is no factor to affect that since you nullified the possibility of outside factors affecting the subject.  But we are in a world where everything is almost done online, this bridges the gap between an individual and the gambling casinos.  If the subject has access to gambling casinos online and plays then there is a chance that the subject will develop gambling problems because he is now actively involving himself in gambling activities online.

I think you are forgetting something, that gambling existed before the creation of the internet, gambling culture is developing all over the world with different backgrounds, I think from a long time ago there are many people who are addicted to traditional gambling. So I don't think the problem is with technology or the internet. maybe if you say something like : that the current development of the internet is contributing to a bad influence on gambling addiction. I will agree.

I think what he meant was that it's impossible to change environments nowadays because the internet is used everywhere, and if you have a gambling addiction, even if you're alone at home you can still go to any casino site and continue gambling without any problems. You can't disagree with that - the internet or the smartphone develops new habits.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Russian Premier League 2022/23 Season on: July 18, 2022, 06:56:03 AM
Zenit in the Russian Premier League is like PSG in France, they have no equal, there are no other title contenders. But on the other hand no one knows what awaits Russian football after Russia's exclusion from all international tournaments. It is possible that the quality of the game will badly deteriorate.
