1841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: November 04, 2022, 11:43:36 PM
I am not one of them so it is not everyone  Grin

I love Buying but for the most? I kept Holding and very rare to trade(day trade if that is what i mean) because I am not good in TA and in giving lot of time on this.

I may called to be a HODLER? because this is much better and easy as I have extra funds to risk each time.
These type of "everyone" topics makes me laugh too. I mean it’s obvious that we are not going to see everyone doing the same thing over and over again. Some people do it, and some people don't, I am not a big trader neither. I like holding for long term as well because it gives me ease of mind to know that I am going to make a profit eventually and I have to do absolutely nothing for it.

Not many people can understand that, or see the possibility in that, but that’s the reality. Just buy, hold, and get rich, it's literally that simple. Some people buy, see it go down, sell, and miss out when it goes even higher, and that’s their problem, if they waited, they would have profited.
We all have different niche on how to earn in crypto. Trader or passive holder can both earn on each of their way. It's just that it depends on how you will execute the method you prefer. Not every time you can achieve that just buy, hold and get rich mindset you have. We have different cases and even if you don't sell there still has a chance that your token or project you are holding might not go up or be abandon on the process. Trading is the same, You all should be aware that not all technical analysis work all the time, It just increase the chance and will give you a clue when or will it go pump and dump. Fundamentals is one factor. This is why traders has different TA and also different perspective on the market.
1842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin to be used for micropayments on Twitter? on: November 04, 2022, 11:00:53 PM
As he suggested some hours ago to charge $8 per month from verified users. These $8 can be in DOGE coin. Or may be in other way.(but I think it can be in DOGE coin).

As we know in the past many news we listened. Like:

Elon is supporting Doge Coin.
Elon is Pro Doge.

Like many you will find on internet.
Here is CNN news now not $20 Twitter will charge $8.
https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/01/tech/musk-twitter-verification-price/index.html

Probably. But I don't think people would be willing to pay $8 (either in Fiat or DOGE) just to get verified on Twitter. It would be a waste of time and money, in my opinion. The social media platform needs better ideas to help attract as much people into it as possible. Dogecoin could benefit a lot in terms of mainstream adoption if there are a lot of users on Twitter, though. That is if Elon Musk decides to add it as a micropayments tool.

But I don't think he will dare to do it, as it will bring the attention of the regulators. They will come up with the excuse that Mr. Musk is patronizing money laundering and tax evasion by adopting DOGE into the platform without complying with KYC/AML. The only way this would work is by letting only verified users to use DOGE on Twitter. All of this is speculation, anyways. Let's give Mr. Musk some time to see what he will do with DOGE. Just my thoughts Grin
Paying $8 monthly for that blue check is not a problem for other people since I'm sure it would be considered as luxury or somehow another trust layer for the twitter community given that there are existing blue check accounts are being used by scammers and trolls. Paying blue check will instantly weed out most of those blue check verified trolls and scammers. As far as I know, the only ones can avail the blue check mark are ones who are fully verified in the past which means  they are KYCed and somehow submit their ID to the platform. If ever DOGE is accepted as a payment method, We surely will see a price bump on DOGE.
1843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Instagram supports Polygon for NFT use. on: November 04, 2022, 10:43:44 PM
Today, Instagram announced that it will take advantage of the Polygon network so that users can create, buy and sell their own NFTs.
https://twitter.com/instagram/status/1588232880244695041

It shows the trend of the Meta platform to deal more smoothly with blockchain applications, including the use of NFT tokens, and why not relying on a payment system using tokens on the same network. The news also indicates that Meta will not delay adding support for the network on Facebook and the rest of its applications. I think Meta has given up the idea of creating her own network and has just used the Polygon network.

Polygon is a leading network that earns the trust of users due to its security and ease of use, which prompted many platforms to adopt it. It is also considered a leading network for NFT users due to the ease of launching businesses for very low fees compared to its counterparts on the Ethereum network. I expect to witness more demand in the coming period, which will certainly contribute to raising the price.

Some analyzes link this update to the changes that One Mask will make on Twitter in the context of the competition to bring the largest number of users by adding qualitative features to the way the applications are used.
So they decided to use polygon blockchain for their NFT feature. I was a little expecting these to the social media platforms and I'm mostly anticipating on Instagram and twitter since they are giants in social media space aside from facebook. Polygon for me is a great choice and I do expect for them to add multiple blockchains in the future and of course their own network, Diem or Libra? Since it was develop by Meta. I guess Instagram could possibly have a new marketplace feature for NFT LOL.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you watching Online Gambling Streams? Short survey and discussion on: November 04, 2022, 10:11:02 PM
can other platform possible for the survey? since streaming with Twitch are no longer possible for a gambler.
As I remember I watched some streams before and i find it interesting though I didn't spend much time on that since I know they are just being part of the promotions of that site but some streamers seems more legit. Interesting as well to see the result of the survey, it's good if you summarize it using the given data and highlights.
I believe yes, It would be possible given that streamers don't only stream at twitch for their gambling content. Well I'm the same, I'm also not fond of watching streamers play all night though I occasionally watch them when I stumbled to them whenever I'm seeking for entertainment but I don't really come and search for them. I've watched drake streams and I'm entertained because on how too many people are watching with me and the comment was bombarded.

edit: I just answered the survey. There are too many questions and questions are a bit long, I suggest to shorten it since there will be a chance that the survey participant might not answer the whole survey given that it is too long.
1845  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1x฿it.com - Most Competitive Sports฿ook & Casino | ฿est Odds & Wagering Options on: November 04, 2022, 09:42:37 PM
1XBIT IS A SCAM BOOKIE

They took the money that I had in my account.
From one day to the next, and for no reason, my withdrawals have been restricted. I had 1400€ inside, I contacted by chat and email, and suddenly they tell me that I have violated the terms and conditions (w.t.f!? Of course I didn't violate anything, I was just betting normally and obviously winning,
You don't need to violate any rules for your funds to be confiscated in 1xbit casino, because i wonder what the hell will you be doing with a casino like this, despite all the numerous scam accusations this casino has ever recorded and you still went further to gamble here. I am very sorry my friend, because your money is already gone for good. Because this is what happens to people who fail to do research about a casino before depositing that just happened to you. So next time, endeavour to always DYOR

1XBIT is still at it, although it took 10 months before this thread gets an update coming from a newbie who got scammed I'm sure there are still people they scammed every time but never get a chance to post here and prefer to post somewhere or have just accepted the fact that they can get their money anymore, but we should not make a mistake that 1XBIT will chance their way they will continue to scam until some authorities stop them from existing.
It's sad that if you deposited in this casino, You can be considered as a loser even you still havent play their casino. I believe that this is one of the multiple threads of 1xbit and there is that one thread that get post updated by members on what's going on in 1xbit. I believe that there are so much awareness about 1xbit here in this forum, If you ever search 1xbit over the internet. There will be a couple of bitcointalk 1xbit scam thread that will be included to your search. Though not everyone is searching about the credibility of the casino especially if they are newbies.
1846  Economy / Gambling / Re: Black Friday fever: do you wait for extra bonuses from casinos? on: November 03, 2022, 11:54:25 PM
I know these things would be available but honestly I'm not expecting too much. I'm still getting what my money's worth each week, and if they activated those bonus then that's great. However if it will be unlocked behind huge wagering requirements (like they usually do) then I guess other people can still try for it, but certainly not me. Deposit bonuses are completely welcome though - make my $20 worth $40 is something I wouldn't pass on Grin
Huge wagering requirements are expected  Tongue Given that these casino don't want to get abused, It is more like the same as welcome bonuses that need a certain amount of wager to be activated. Though if there will be a Black Friday bonus, I', sure that it would be sweet for those regular gamblers since they are playing regularly without minding not receiving bonus but on that day the wager requirements for that bonus will be an easy peasy for them. The one who will struggle for sure are the one who just gamble for the sake of the Black Friday alluring bonus.
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most BTC you've spent on something? on: November 03, 2022, 11:29:14 PM
Back then 2017 during the bull market , The biggest purchased with crypto I have is buying a decent car for myself. I spent around 9k usd for a car, It was my dream car and I'm happy I purchased it using the bitcoins and altcoins I earned. Though It was a financial mistake I did since I can't support the maintenance and most of my assets were drained because of it and the bear market of course. I'm happy I bought that much valuable with crypto I earned also sad that I liquidated my assets just because of that liability. I learned on a hard way and I never repeat that mistake again, Last bull market I only purchased assets that generate me more income.
1848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling winner identity on: November 03, 2022, 11:16:42 PM
In my country we have a charity sweepstake which when someone won, The winner information is hidden from the public given that the winner might be targeted by bad person also I believe that it is being recorded since the government is running the sweepstake lotto and I'm sure that the data privacy and secrecy is one of their responsibilities.

We have different cultures and I believe that this man is a Chinese or somehow live on South east Asia which has the culture of raising their child right even after they are 18. To the winner who won 30million in this post, I like his reasoning though I think he should allocate something for his child and wife that the support funds will be claimable in a certain time or year and reveal that he won the lottery. I'm sure it will be hard for the family to chew that they struggle for years when they can take the easy road but I'm sure they will understand the reasoning of the winner given that they learn very valuable knowledge when they aren't that rich.
1849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Web 3.0 have a future? on: November 03, 2022, 10:36:28 PM
Do you still think Web 3.0 have a future even though smart contract platforms are becoming less-decentralized? Will crypto projects have to pay a heavy price to obtain decentralization when governments are as aggressive as ever towards crypto/Blockchain tech?
It's more about decentralizing the web and we all know that many people supports decentralization. It is different to the usual web that we now which are centralized and had a lot of restrictions. Plus web 3 is too early so there are more innovations that can come on their way which can attract more users.

Many cryptos are still decentralized up to this date but it was only the eth that have transferred to pos last time which makes the coin more centralized. Governments continues to give pressure in the form of regulations but I think only the platforms are affected with this e.g crypto exchanges and gambling sites but not totally the coin itself.
It's true that it is too early, I don't expect transitioning from centralized to decentralized becoming so easy. Projects are starting to realize the flaws and obstacle of becoming decentralized and see the less-decentralized way to become their safe haven for now until they found a way to become fully decentralized again. I've remember those fully decentralized exchange before and I know there are such disadvantage that's why people stop using it but I'm sure in the future there will be a decentralized exchange again. It's just that the way they implement it has flaws.
1850  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: [MMORPG]Ni no Kuni NFT? on: November 02, 2022, 05:23:20 PM
Panong masira yung buhay mo? Medyo di ko gets, Nalugi ka ba interms of investment or masyadong naubos yung oras mo kakalaro at nasayang efforts mo?
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This days you can't predict what will make you vulnerable to hack, I need answer on: November 02, 2022, 04:38:28 PM
It is never a shame to ask a question even if your rank is high, I regularly use google if I have questions about crypto or on things I forgot to do. I'm sure that there aren't anyone here knows everything about cryptocurrency or how other new applications work. I know that you are just being careful with scammers, The important thing you need to do when researching is to verify the information that you found out. There are several credible website out there and there are also the company website which is metamask on your case that offers the tutorial to how to add Polygon. There are many trusted members here but I suggest to just copy straight from metamask website itself, Just Be careful of the clone websites though it is easy to know if the website you are browsing is legit.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They want your money by all means possible on: November 02, 2022, 04:13:22 PM
How is this a problem? What if they are already well known and they are fully aware of that, that is why they stop doing promotions for a while to spread their names more evenly. I think what you really mean there is if the project stop on developing and improving. That will looks suspicious as an investor.

If you notice that, then it can be a good sign to move away from the other active projects before it's too late. Project that can survive a couple of dumps or bears doesn't mean they are still a great project to invest in. There are lots of them but they aren't really that profitable. This is why many of us are looking forward to a new coin because their hypes are still fresh. We only need to be careful though.
Sometimes a project may use a lull in development for the purpose of manipulation. Holders will see that the project has lost its former activity and may decide to sell their tokens because of this, and after the team collects most of the tokens, work at the project will continue and the price of the token will grow very well. But if the project has gone through several cycles but still has not achieved any significant result, then most likely you should not expect great results from it.
This can potentially happen but there are times that projects lost their activity and it happens mostly during bear market. We can see a lot of project that has stopped producing their products and it is one of the signs that a project is a scam because they might ran away since there are no activities on their project. Project investors lose trust of course but yeah it's a matter of trust if you really believe on the team and project you invest to. If there are suspicious things happening on the project like losing activities and dumping token values, I simply do a investigation and research about their whale investors and other VC if they have sold their tokens, They have most likely the best intel about the project. If they sold It means something bad is about to happen.
1853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Litecoin a forgotten cryptocurrency? on: November 02, 2022, 03:46:05 PM
I don't think Litecoin is a forgotten currency given that there are still miners mining it. Litecoin sustained it's top spot on CMC for a long time that's why I think it's still a good token that will last even more longer. I remember the days that Litecoin is one of the coins that traders are loving to trade since as far as I remember it has many pairs in the market. Litecoin is use as a payment by online merchants along side with bitcoin and ethereum. Litecoin hasn't received that much hyped compared to other coins that overtaken it though I still believe that litecoin will stay in the market.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: November 02, 2022, 01:00:06 AM
What amazes me, is that there are still people who believe in faucets. We all know where free cheese is, but still spend time claiming faucets. How much could a faucet bring? Even with 24/7 claiming. A dollar per month or a year? Using multiple accounts for such think is not wise, as VPN cost more. Faucets were profitable maybe only in 2015-2017. In 2022 every faucet is a waste of time. Bonus hunting is different, but still a waste of time. Requirements for bonus are usually hard to achieve and while achieving them, chances of loosing money are higher than during usual gambling imo.

I agree with you that using faucet in 2022 is a futile exercise. I would rather spend this time to improve their skills, which in the future can contribute to higher earnings.

If I was a casino owner I definitely wouldn't run faucet on my platform, because in my opinion it mostly attracts audience with money problems.

In my opinion a deposit bonus is more beneficial for the casino.
I may be doing the same, It is more wise to gather some skills than spending time doing faucets but it will be the same case for abusers. Abusers are wise, There's a high chance that they are doing multi accounting on those casino that has a faucet system and might be using bots to claim those faucets for an easy way to abuse the casino. It really attracts people with money problems but those people are primarily their target since those people can't control themselves and has a high possibility of just depositing and enjoy doing gambling. But if they were exploited hard time, It would be a different scenario and the casino might have the intent to block those who are winning from faucet on more than they expected.
1855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - History repeating itself on: November 01, 2022, 04:59:22 PM
Well yes, Doge have been here for a long time and still supported by the community. Elon is the one who make the price jump and I am speculating that even if Elon Musk take out his support to Doge, Doge will just suffer for a temporary price dump and will continue to exist because of the OG in the community. Certainly, Doge will take a toll by having it's CMC spot low given that Elon Must believers sold their Doge but I think that Doge will still exist on atleast top 50 of CMC. Remember that Doge is a meme coin but even if it is a meme coin, Doge is on top of the game.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🎵 What kind of music do you listen when you gamble? 🎶🎧 on: November 01, 2022, 04:32:38 PM
When I do gambling, I usually play jazz music and lofi music or any music that is a bit relaxing and I put it on a low volume if I intend to focus on the game just like a background music. I also turn off SFX and background music of the casino when I'm playing of course except live tables. There is sometime that when I'm feeling that All-in felling, I play metal core music, ghostmane tracks and suicideboys track. I usually play my music on youtube since I have a running subscription to them and all of the music that I am playing is available to them. I'm personally affected with the genre of music that I am playing on my daily life not just on gambling that's why I always have my IEM on me always.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: November 01, 2022, 03:56:33 PM
This is correct. Some land based casinos have some areas specifically for entertainment purposes. There's even a spot for restaurants and food. And many more...

I wonder if guys who go to physical casinos and start drinking alcohol how do they manage to stay focused on the game? besides alcohol in certain casinos there are women with little clothes, these women with little clothes are employees of the casino, will the guys who are going to play in the casino seeing these women with little clothes be able to concentrate on the game? as I've never been to a physical casino I can't get answers to these two questions

I am not regular at physical casinos but I do visit sometimes and play. I don't mind having a drink when I am only playing at those slot machines and some games that are purely for luck. Poker players and strategy games are most likely the ones to avoid drinking because they might lose their concentration.

I haven't been to a casino with very sexy women. I wonder how it feels to be in a casino like that. But probably it won't bother me much since I know in advance that I cannot take them out anyways. Cheesy
Same I don't come to a physical casino very often. I do play blackjack as my go to when I go to a physical casino, I also don't intend to win big since I go there to just relax and just sipping a small amount of alcohol won't do much to me so yes I sometimes go there to get my own relaxation. I don't know but I haven't seen much sexy woman on the casino that I am playing, or those girls that has little clothes in them. Do you guys think it's normal to a physical casino that don't have much girls in it? If there are some sexy girls I'm sure that it will be a head turner for gamblers and somehow lose focus to the game they are playing.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: November 01, 2022, 03:38:15 PM
Right. They should retain the LCQ as it seems very competitive and we've seen how far the qualified teams from there. I also hope that there will be some changes like the defending champions already have the secured slot for the next TI.

I guess this has been suggested long time ago but Valve didn't obliged. Now that TI has ended, is anyone have the calls or rumors with the roster change of different teams?

T1 has already started with the departure of Xepher and Kuku. Liquid as well with the retirement of Matu. That's the only thing that's been confirmed by now. Reddit Dota doesn't seem to have any solid info yet regarding rumor transfers and roster changes so we'll see about that. One team I want to change for the better is Nigma. They should really remove Kuro as an active player and put him in a coach position or something. He doesn't seem to be keeping up with the times, not unlike Puppey who proved to us that he's still a worthy player even after playing for over a decade. Kuro might have been a good drafter in the past but with the recent games they are playing, it's best if Mind_control or someone else takes the place of a captain instead of him.
For Nigma, I think Kuro should just move from being a player and captain into coaching his boys. That's way better and get better talents that are young that shall bring them the aegis while coaching them.

Another one that has already have shown interest to play for other opportunities is Tims. His contract with Boom Esports is about to end and they're on negotiation for his extension but he's more interested to join other teams as it's looks like that and said he's willing to relocate.
In the time that Tims ends his contract with Boom esports I hope that the next team who will sign him will also sign Kuku to join their team since Kuku is now open for contract since also his contract with t1 has now ended. I miss seeing all Filipino team on tournaments and it would be history if it would be on T1. I have reminiscence of the underdog upset which TNC beat OG on ti6 before making OG dropped from the TI. I would really like to see Tims and Kuku playing on the same team and home for the next TI.
1859  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: November 01, 2022, 02:32:04 PM
3 years ago I opened an account on Cloudbet, I made a deposit of about 0.29BTC, I played on the account and reached 0.92BTC. After that I could not log into the account. I wrote to support, and they replied that the account was frozen and that they would contact me via email. After that they stopped responding to my email. Every 2-3 months I send them an email, but no one answers, now I have decided to put an end to the fraudsters. I sent them documents for verification, my ID, selfie with ID, proof of address, but nothing. Can you give me some guidance on where to report this case. I have a lot of evidence and screenshots.
I think you are doing duplicate post about your cloudbet issue. I believe I've seen other post about their cloudbet issues just like on your story. As far as I know it is resolved because it makes a lot of tension and traction here in this forum and also cloudbet account was active that time. From what I am seeing, cloudbet OP or any other representative where not active here anymore from what I am seeing from their profile. Let's hope that someone who has a direct contact from this forum to cloudbet will help you with your case. I also suggest to post other necessary documents and screenshots about your case like the gambling history, chats, emails and other proofs that you think will help you resolve your case. Goodluck! Btw please post all other documents on your thread on scam accusation since most of the cases are being resolve in that board.
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Tips and Tricks to Find Better Bounties on: October 31, 2022, 07:11:03 PM
Any Suggestions / Tips to find and narrow down some good bounties ? pro tips  Grin. and one more thing. how to find out the bounty campaign from another user's signature

many thanks!!
Look for their road map, ask for their future plans and know if the team behind it is legit because most of the time, they are not real and a scam project only. Go to bounty section, you see a lot of good campaign there but remember that there’s no guarantee profit in bounty, you can try to participate on signature campaign that pays in BTC, also on a project with escrow they are guaranteed.

Can you tell me what hot bounty campaign is going on?, I think the bounty campaign is dead because the ICO is no more. Today potential projects they no longer use bounty campaigns as a means of marketing, it is not effective. Currently, most bounty campaigns are junk and non-potential projects, so they can't raise capital from VCs, so they force them to look for free forms of marketing.
Bounty campaigns are there to serve as a promotion to the project. Even if ICO method is not being widely use today compared before, There are some new bounty project who are surviving even without VC help, A Project team who are really serious about the project will do a thing to accumulate some funds to the community to continue their development. Though I agree to you that the majority of bounty project doesn't really have a potential if you see deep through it.

We all can agree that today a bounty campaign that offers reward with value is better than a bounty project that offer their own token reward that commonly don't have any value.
