841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: June 17, 2023, 08:26:14 PM
Let me clear first! This is "Pepverse", another memecoin different from original pepecoin! Aww i don't really like any memecoin specially pepe was able to draw my attention due to its hype everywhere but pepe lost around 50% of its value within a month and still going below! What does it indicate? It indicates pepe will go more below with time as hype will less with time. So can't think about pepe related  another project perverse.
I think it is pretty expected if you are on crypto for a while now. As soon as the project loss its hype, it will go down in value like a slope. This is why I don't like shitcoins or memecoins because there aren't a thing that is backing their tokens like some utility that will make people still want to buy it. As soon as people realize that it's not profitable anymore, they will sell and never look at it again. Majority of memecoins and shitcoins are just a money grabbers machine and a dispossable token.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shouts - The best possible Twitter alternative? on: June 17, 2023, 07:36:24 PM
Have you heard of Shouts - Decentralized social network?

Recently appeared, looking way more powerfull than Mastadon, Bluesky or any other.

Check it out and tell me what you think: https://shouts.social
If you are this project representative, I recommend that you create another trend that can be qualified as announcement thread since you are obviously doing this to promote your project.

I have saw so many social media type project but I haven't seen one that really succeed or made people use their platform constantly. Most of them are old simply copycats of our current social media which doesn't really make people become interested since a established social media is always available.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why haven't anyone created a crypto currency name Merit yet? on: June 17, 2023, 06:47:20 PM
I think it's not a good name for a project that has a real goal in their plans. The person who decide to create a real project absolutely has a name in mind on what kind of project name that the world will be known with their project goals but unfortunately no one would choose the name merit as a name knowing that merit is a name that you will think of something else after being mentioned. Unlike shitcoins, real projects thinks their name carefully and do have meanings on how they ended up with that name. We should wait for the day that someone will create a meaningful project that carries the name merit.
844  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Meron Na Bang Naka Apply Dito At Is It Worth It on: June 17, 2023, 06:20:15 PM
Siguro for me hindi ito worth it for me unless may specific goals or target ako na magawa within this organization. Membership fee is no biggie pero hindi ako mag sspend ng ganung amount para lang matawag na member nito. Maybe you can gain connections since bigating tao yung mga kasama mo sa organization but yeah maybe not for me. Ano ba mga benefits as a member of this organization aside from possible connections?
845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 17, 2023, 05:48:38 PM
We can talk about gambling in general as a significant income. Still, we can talk about professional poker players and sports bettors since in these two some people win most of the time, they have good knowledge about the games themselves, good reading/analytic skills, and a nice bankroll for playing. In these two some people can make something more, but even that will always depend on luck as well... we all have bad days and red streaks. But some people know how to chill and take a break, or even better to say some people have good self-control and some goal they follow.

Professional poker players and the pros that OP mentioned who can make a living out of his game. We saw different poker tournaments and some of them waste hundreds of thousands when they fold. But the loss of one is also the gain of the other.  Some of them even reach up to millions just to bluff. Them doing all these must be a success.

For me, I could say I'm still having success though I'm not a big spender in sports betting, I'm able to get around on my own in sports.

Those professional gamblers know how the mechanics of poker works and they absolutely know that bluffing is a very risky mechanic that only works on doing high stake plays like betting millions or all in. The higher your bet are shows how confident you are on your card and they know that everything they do is being calculated by their oponents. Bluffing don't work everytime especially if you keeps doing it everytime and you had a bust on bluffing. Them doing this knows how things will go if their bluff gets successful. It's also an ego thing if you defeat someone with a bluff and rising your ego with that risky move can be considered a success for someone especially if you defeated a remarkable player.
846  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 16, 2023, 08:56:21 PM
If my information is leaked, there's only two casinos to blame.

But how far can we go in terms of legal action against them?

These casinos are operating in different countries, so it's challenging on our side since there are no specific ways to sue them for leaking our information.
It is sad that I personally don't know what to do and might have no plans in sueing them knowing that it will be a waste of my time and I don't have that much funds to fight against a casino that has a really big budget. The only thing I will do is to just declared that I'm a victim and hope someone will do the initiative for the victims. I'm positive that there are laws that covers an leakage indicident but it will be a though fight and the accuser need to spend a hefty amount of money to fight them.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Join Pi Network and be a part of the crypto revolution on: June 16, 2023, 08:16:52 PM
It has been year since the pi network was introduced but the coin still has no value. With the huge amount of people mining pi since it was introduced, the supply would mostly be around a hundred million to a billion so don't expect that a single unit of it would be the likes of bitcoin and ethereum.

The coin still doesn't have any value? I thought there are rumors of people selling their coin and they were even making mockery of people like us who have not been minting it.
Actually there are some news which was made by pi network promoters to hype the coin just make look real, infact they mentioned some stores that accept pi token in exchange of goods meanwhile all the gimmick is just to portray the pi network in a positive light, I knew some close friends who mined the coin with the hope of exchanging it with USDT after summiting  and performanced their KYC unfortunately the coin hasn't gotten any value yet and some of these colleagues had "locked up"  their coin just like Stalking cryptocurrency for a period of some years aiming of earning more coin whose value is currently worthless.
This happened before. Do you remember TBC? The coin that increases its value everyday without cutting the supply. It happened that Pi is doing the same that are convincing merchants to accept Pi as a payment method for their products. There are testimonies too just like TBC. There are many peoepl who are waiting and hoping to see their Pi coin to be sellable on the market but I don't think it will be possible that everyone can sell theirs. Majority of the Pi fans wants to sell and I'm sure that the liquidity will be swiped instantly if there's a miracle that it will be listed on a DEX. I'm pertaining to those Pi who are being mined and earned.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High gas fee for sending token is still a problem on: June 16, 2023, 07:35:58 PM
~snip~dominating in the market but come in mind that we do have BEP20 which is on binance chain which fees are way too cheap but surprisingly there are still having that huge demand on most tokens sitting on erc20.

Yes, its been a main problem on erc20 on having that huge gas fees on transferring token and this is why most of shit coins or meme coins being created is mostly on binance chain.
You would eventually be able to see and compare it out specially on checking out those DEXe's. Making up some small amount transactions is never been that worth
on which it would really be just that eaten by the gas fees and this is why there are lots of people who had been hating up on making tx on eth chain.

BEP20 is also quite cheap but try to use the MATIC (POLYGON) chain, it will be cheaper and even very cheap. I quite often use the MATIC chain for some trading on Dex or to make withdrawals from some exchanges or do arbitration using the cheaper MATIC chain. Besides that, chains like TRX can also be another option for cheaper withdrawals compared to having to use an ERC20 chain, which we already know will be very expensive.
only in certain cases I use ERC20.
You know most of the coin didn’t deployed in Matic chain so it’s a main problem we can't use it and missed this opportunity. But i see now there are so many coins implemented in BSC network, so this is alternative way to sell tokens with low gas fees instead of ETH Network.Same thing in Tron network, a very few coins are deployed, so there are no way to use it without USDT Tether.
Even with a very high gas fees, developers still choose to deploy on ethereum knowing that there are a demand on that blockchain. As an investor,, I don't find it helpful knowing that we all gonna suffer from ridiculous gas prices. Developers should consider blockchain that offer  cheap gas fees. I don't know the technical side of things on how they deploy a token on ethereum but fundentally, ethereum is a strong project and even many project had tried and achieve to outperform ethereum, People still choose erc20.
849  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 16, 2023, 01:01:16 PM

Just make sure that you are just using small amount of capital, it's very likely to submit verification
when you have huge amount of money to withdraw.

That's typically the scenario with most gambling sites. Some sites don't require Know Your Customer (KYC) verification initially, but once you start winning significant amounts, they may trigger the KYC process. Currently, most of the gambling sites I play on do not require KYC. However, I have familiarized myself with the information in case they do require it. You are correct that we should not invest a large amount of capital as it could be compromised if we fail to meet the KYC requirements.
if casinos declared that they will collect KYC, this doesnt mean that they will collect it early on. It is a nice thing that there are casino that only collect KYC when there are rediculous amount of money that is being taken out from their casino or if there are unusual activity on the account. Many gamblers are spared from doing KYC even if it is required. I myself only submitted a KYC on a separate casino twice even though I play on different casino. If my information is leaked, there's only two casinos to blame.
850  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: June 15, 2023, 04:32:53 PM
~
Those incidents are often happen in some of non reputed casino. Which is not known unless revealed. Most of the time this type of intention happens in casinos that plan to scam. Reputed casino don't take much time after submit KYC. Either they will approve it or reject. When casinos deserve that 30 times the profit will be withdrawn they exploit that issue. But in this perspective there is no reason to call their fault even though their motives were not honest. Should not gamble on any trustless site.
Im not defending casinos, but the scene's not as one-dimensional. Not every house is playing dirty, surely

Yes, there are sketchy joints exploiting gamers. But, remember theres a fair share of straight-shooting houses practicing diligent KYC. They dont trick you when you hit it big.

To claim casinos use fake IDs only during fat payouts is harsh, isnt it? Isn't that a broad brush? The golden rule: bet wisely, stick to reputable joints. Not all are out to fleece you, agreed?

There are some gambling houses which are very honest and reputed ones. They will never deceive you  or try to steal your winnings no matter how big you win a bet or a game. However there are times that we see that people raise concerns even on those trusted sites that they have scam some gamblers.

Here we need to closely look into the case by case basis. Sometimes the gambler himself lost in gambling and they wrongly accused the gambling site to be at fault.
Competition on casino industry is very thight and there's a chance that there are other casino who are hiring people or themselves to do a black propaganda to reputable casinos. This is to gain more traction to their own casino. This is why each scam cases needs to be verified and looked into especially those who are accusing with a high amount. Reputable casino spent so much on building their casino reputation snd won't deceive people with small amounts. Though even how much the casino reputation are, there are still chances that they might turn into a scam casino. Weve seen some reputated casino got a real scam issues in this forum before.
851  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling addiction causes ear deafness? on: June 15, 2023, 03:49:44 PM
Because of the subject topic, I thought for a moment on how gambling cause a ear deafness LOL. I litterally thought it can cause real harm physically. But yeah, majority of the addicts don't care about things and don't listen to people advices until they are on a very deep trouble because of gambling. It's rare to see an addict to stop doing gambling just because they are told to stop. Even with realizations, there still an urge to do gambling if you are an addict. Those who stop instantly suffered from withdrawal and they just continued to play after trying it one more time.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you invest in a project that might take years to outshine the market?? on: June 15, 2023, 03:28:07 PM
If it would surely bloom them what's the rush?
If it could steadily grow and secure it's place in the future then I don't really care if it would take years as long as the project would survive and grow.
Bitcoin took years to grow so don't expect that alt coin could do it in just a short spam of time.

Bitcoin does not have a team that oversees its development and promotion, so the comparison in this case is not correct. Altcoin can make a rapid growth in a short period of time. For example, the same PEPE managed to do that, or SHIB. Bitcoin took about 8 years to make a million percent profit, altcoins took less than a year to do so. Altcoins grow much faster than bitcoin, but they also lose their value at exactly the same rate.
This is true. The value of altcoin can grow exponentially for a very short amount of time and lose it's value at same time. There are only few percentage of altcoin that really retained their value over the years of existing. This is people who is really eager in getting profit only target altcoin investments as it grows fast and massive. This is why I don't invest on altcoins that has a low current value after having a very high all time high on it's peak. The chance of them gaining back their prime is a very small chance. Majority of altcoins are pretty disposable.
853  Local / Pilipinas / Re: T-Shirt Business For Bitcoin Adoption Profitable Ba on: June 15, 2023, 02:25:07 PM
Times like this: little to no demand
Bull markets: HEAVY demand

Pero why stick to bitcoin only? Go print whatever the current trend is.

Though risky kasi expected na sobrang baba ng demand pero the upper side is marerecognize ng future buyer soon na ilang taon na kayo as a tshirt business and plus points yun in buying your brand. Madami ding possible crypto shirt ideas like current trends and market sitation memes. Naka depende sainyo on how can you handle the risk na wala munang kikitain.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recommend me altcoin to DCA till halving on: June 14, 2023, 02:47:31 PM
I saw this thread before and read some post on what are their own shills to DCA and I noticed some of the tokens that are shilled and I'm actually doing a DCA with that coin right now. Probably hold out on doing DCA till I can because I believe on that token and I don't want to sell at loss. Let's all wait for the bull market and just chill out on this kind of market scenario. But yeah still doing DCA on bitcoin, never been scared on buying bitcoin lol.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT OR MEMES on: June 14, 2023, 02:06:13 PM
Both of it got their own trend recently and where are they today? I don't like hype driven asset as it gradually falls down in value after the hype was gone. Worst thing is, both of these doesn't have real utility which makes their holders want to abandon them after seeing a falling value. There are developers who tried giving these assets their own utility but it failed as it is not as good as a proper altcoin. We can see more about this hype driven coins in the future.
856  Local / Pilipinas / Re: T-Shirt Business For Bitcoin Adoption Profitable Ba on: June 14, 2023, 01:29:39 PM
857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Confident Are you With Altcoin In This Time on: June 14, 2023, 01:05:20 PM
I feel confident about the current condition of the crypto market, I think 2023 will be much better than 2022, especially bitcoin, bitcoin has experienced a significant increase compared to last year, hopefully this will have an impact on altcoins too

hopefully what you expect will happen, because I also believe that 2023 is a good start for cryptocurrency before the bull run occurs (possibly 2024, at the time of Bitcoin halving), so now is the right time for us to buy Bitcoin or altcoin to be used as an investment before the market increase again, so if a bull run occurs at the end of 2023 or early 2024, then of course we will already be making a profit from investing in cryptocurrency at this time.
We speculate all the time but my best guess is 6 months after halving, we can experience some small bull runs. I based my speculation on the past bull run and to be honest expecting it as early as 2023 is not that possible if we aim for a bull market since the bear market just arrived. This is why real hodlers don't care that much on what's currently happening on bitcoin just like me since I have a high hope that late 2024 to 2025 will be the months of harvest. This is just my speculation and I wonder if anyone agrees with me?
I guess the small bull runs that you mentioned just gonna occur at the rumours of halving instead of at the halving event itself.
pretty much the trend about halving is that the rumours influence the market better than when the event actually occurring.
it can be observed from past halving, though the bullrun isn't that significant either so I guess it's right just calling these small series of bullruns that gonna be occurring.
after all, the real bullrun is still nowhere to be seen, right now the condition is really uncertain.
Yes. After having small bull run, it could create a trend line which could spark the real bull market. But yeah it's still an upward movement but it's not the bull run. We should be ready for it. In this current time, it is thr time that we should bag some coins that we think we can gain profits from. I personally started to accumulate some coins that I believe has a future in the bull market even if it's not on the trend. I believe that we are near half way through of the market cycle. I'm not letting this chance go away.

Yep, Last bull market is gamit na gamit ko yung gcash account ko sa pag cashout ng pera at wala akong naging problema in terms of cash out. What I mean is p2p selling kasi wala pang crypto feature that time yung gcash. Hopefully magamit ko din yung MAYA ko next bull market as a way para makapag cash out ng pera.

Ngayon marami na tayong options para mag cash in and cash out ng crypto. Let's hope na hindi isa isahin ng gobyerno natin ishut down yung mga platforms nato like SEC is currently doing on Binance right now.
860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy or hard to quit? on: June 12, 2023, 11:48:53 AM
Can you quit gambling if you make a life changing money and never go back to gambling?

I asked this because those who made some money through gambling near me always go back to gamble and they end up losing everything they once made through gambling.

Is it fine to say that people should not go back into gambling once they made high amount of money? Because the chance of losing that money again is very high, even if they don't use all the money to gamble at once, gambling can take it all back in time.

Have you ever won a high amount of money from gambling and managed to not lose them all back to gambling? And to date, you are still gambling?
Ohh yes, I've been an addict before and I've experienced a downfall. Now I can consider myself as a normal gambler that can control myself and is pretty organized in using my funds. I follow my budget strictly and I can stop playing anytime I want now, in-short, I'm not an addict anymore. If I won money that can change my life and could possibly make me comfortable for the rest of my life, I would probably stop doing gambling since I've been doing it for years now and there are games that I like so much before that it makes me boring now.

There will be people who won't or can't quit gambling since they haven't experienced it to the fullest but me, I've already been there and I don't want to waste the chance of quitting.
