1861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My old officemate become millionaire on investing on Bitcoin on: July 16, 2022, 07:19:33 PM
That's what I call an office colleague - he helped a guy get rich! Cheesy But your story could be one of those where people lose a lot of money because of other people's advice about investing. I'm curious to know if the others you taught to use stock exchanges had any sad experiences? Sometimes I hear success stories too, but not many tell how many failure stories.
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are governance tokens (UNI, COMP) a good long-term investment? on: July 16, 2022, 07:19:35 AM
MKR turned out to be a very good investment if you bought it a few years ago, when Defi did not yet exist as an everyday technology. But MKR has proven itself very well. As for UNI and COMP, only history can show the success of these projects, although I have no doubt that UNI will or probably already has become a proven project too.  The distribution of their tokens already speaks volumes.
1863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin price important? on: July 16, 2022, 06:34:20 AM
Everything about Bitcoin is important, but the price at any moment is more important for profit sake, because despite the fact that it's used for fast, easy and decentralized transaction, the price is needed for profit making since it has a volatile nature whose value goes up and down with respect to the US dollar
If you only look at the advantages of Bitcoin, then the price and value of Bitcoin itself should be placed on the first point because that is the part that you consider very important. I sometimes place the issue of price and value on Bitcoin itself on the second point, because for the first I place on the subject of Blockchain which has been successfully built and run very well so that the benefits felt by many people are very clear.

Because without that and a good concept, I don't think any product will be interested and won't have a good value and price in the market.
I think a lot of people are not telling the truth when it comes to technology and blockchain. Especially because not only bitcoin has a blockchain, but other coins too. It's just that it was created first. Absolutely everyone is only interested in the value of bitcoin, only a few people need the technology, and a little more people use the technology in their daily lives.
1864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: July 15, 2022, 07:13:03 PM
It must be very uncomfortable to have a 50% deposit reduction now. So I am more than sure that almost all those who bought bitcoin before the collapse are regretting their purchases. It's elementary mentally pressure, because you could buy a lot more coins now. And now you have to wait for who knows how long to make a profit.
It really feels regretting at first but I've to feel better now as I already accept that this really comes. We can't direct the market where it goes and probably commences not to dump after we buy. But the situation comes mostly in opposite direction and usually, we got mess especially if we don't undergo into market research. This is a very common and the usual thing that happened with newbies, and that is why they mostly complain about their losses which in fact it was their fault.

It is very important for us to give focus on the market chart before buying and tried to listen to other's opinions in order to avoid missing out.
It seems to me that following the opinion of others for your own profit can be a fatal mistake in investing. For example, many just listened to others talking about the bottom at 30k and ended up splitting the deposit twice. You have to rely on your own experience and not someone else's. Or think about the fact that it may be better not to risk money.
1865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin scenario crashing to $20.000 - $23.000 on: July 15, 2022, 05:20:37 PM
Today the price is up about 2% but still around $19k, hopefully it will return to $23k tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, and the next target is July can return to $40k, nothing is impossible because rising tens of percent has happened and often happens in a day.

Don't get ahead of your self mate, $40k is unlikely, we are still in the bear market, and this recent spike could not be sustain then we will go back below $20k again. We even reaches as high as almost $22k if I'm not mistaken last week and yet it did go down again. And which means that speculators are playing the market, and whenever they see a good chance to sell and make a profit they will do it. So I'm expecting the same here, if we ever reaches $22k this week, I'm expecting another sell-off. So this might be another trap being set to us by manipulators so just be careful and just expect the worst this year.
I would say that 40k is not a big big leap from here. People think that getting 2x is a big deal, but in crypto it’s not. I agree that it will not happen in July, but if it were to happen, 15 days is more than enough to double bitcoins price. You'll see, when the price goes 2x, it will happen very fairly quickly, not now but it will happen fairly quickly.

Hence, I do not see it as a big trouble, I see this as an inevitable thing that we are waiting for. For all these, I am not selling my coins, I am just holding them and I think it will go up very much. So much so that, if I hold it for another 3 cycles like this, I will be able to retire as a rich person.
Except that no one gives any guarantee that these cycles will be repeated further, since they have been repeated 3 times. This does not mean that such repetitions will last on a regular basis. In any case, I would not rely on bitcoin as a carefree retirement. Cheesy It seems to me that at any moment the same story could happen to cryptocurrencies as it once happened to dot.coms. Surprisingly by the way, back then Michael Saylor went bankrupt.
1866  Economy / Speculation / Re: copytrading and futures on: July 15, 2022, 07:28:24 AM
I think you will lose your 50 euros very quickly if you do this sort of thing. It reminds me of trading on Twitter signals, which always ends in losing your deposit. You should try to trade using your own strategy. It's better to lose money yourself but try to find your own way than to lose it by following someone else.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 14, 2022, 07:14:30 PM
France probably has no serious rivals in this competition. There is a feeling that they will be European Champions. Although I'm not much interested in women's football, I think France could make a strong showing at the upcoming World Cup. 5 shots in 15 minutes of the first half and one goal scored is a good result.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 14, 2022, 04:32:43 PM
Surprisingly, Italy started losing to Iceland early on in the match. I don't understand how one of the best footballing nations started to play so badly. They should be fighting for first place with France in this group, but they lose to Iceland and are in last place in the group. Of course the game is not over yet, but the results are sad.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 14, 2022, 11:10:11 AM
Should be an interesting match between France and Belgium. France are clear favourites, but I think Belgium can give them a hard time. But I'm more surprised by the failure in Italian football. Both the men's team and the women's team are showing very poor results. It will be interesting to see how Iceland perform.

1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is TRON dead? on: July 14, 2022, 06:57:37 AM
So far TRON is the most popular blockchain for USDT transactions. so I think they are doing well. Although there have already been some attacks on their USDD algorithm stablecoin, but that too ended well. In terms of some projects on TRX blockchain, probably yes, you could say the project didn't go as well as ETH or BNB.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Gambling companies can get more uses to deposit. on: July 13, 2022, 07:17:55 PM
It seems to me that psychologically anyone is greedy. So whenever there is something free, or even small bonuses, there are always a lot of people who want to take advantage of freebies. That's why almost all betting sites or online casinos offer freebets or deposit bonuses. I think this is the best marketing to attract new users. And what currency a gambler uses probably doesn't matter when there is a wide choice of currencies and it's easy to convert.
1873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: July 13, 2022, 05:56:40 PM
Over the last few days, many altcoins have risen well in value. What's most interesting is that these are the low cap coins. If the money flow model is to be believed, then the next stage will be mid-cap coins, then top altcoins. Either this is all a trap because bitcoin is not rising. But still if you weren't afraid to buy altcoins, you could make money now.
1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 13, 2022, 11:21:02 AM
Messi will be playing his best for this world cup as it's probably going to his last opportunity to grab this cup for Argentina.
A similar story appears with Cristiano Ronaldo, for Portugal.
Both are excellent players but both have failed to win the world cup for their country. This is their chance.
A Portugal Argentina final would be incredible.
There is no doubt both legendary players are capable of doing challenging things for their countries but for me still both are not going to win this world cup because we need a perfect team unit to win this mega event and both are having serious flaws in their teams which are not going to help them for having any better chance.
I never thought final could be happened between these two teams because of me most chances Portugal is not going to reach into last four and Argentina can reach but with most chances for few European teams because they are having much better squads and depth in their teams, so they can do much better than them as well.

We all know that a Portugal versus Argentina final is not going to happen. There are many better teams like France, Croatia, Germany, England, and a few others that seem to be very successful. So among all these teams, a final between Argentina and Portugal seems to be really not realistic. But it would be awesome to see a final like that.
For me, it would not have been a realistic final if I had heard that Iceland and Northern Macedonia would play. And Argentina and Portugal are the top teams considered by many to be favourites, so it can't be ruled out that they will make the final. Although I agree that there are many other contenders as well.
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 13, 2022, 09:56:44 AM
Strange that Spain didn't manage to score. In my opinion, the match was even, but the German team got lucky and won the match. If you look at the stats of the game, it's on Spain's side, they had more attacks and the same number of shots on goal. But the realisation of these shots is zero.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 12, 2022, 06:13:09 PM
Germany and Spain won their opening games convincingly, scoring 4 goals each - a big score - without leaving Finland or Denmark a chance. I think it will be a draw today, but there are bound to be goals from both teams. But I don't think tonight will be anything like England's last game.
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why I won't be buying top altcoins in this bear market on: July 12, 2022, 05:42:17 PM
Historically, altcoins have grown stronger than bitcoin after another bear season. For example in 2018 ETH could easily be bought for $100 and even now it is worth 10 times that. But buying altcoins is always a gamble. But it seems to me that now is a good time to buy for perspective.
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum’s failure to close above $1.3K on: July 12, 2022, 11:55:28 AM
It seems to me that the situation with Ethereum is controversial. On the one hand, there will soon be a major update and a switch to a different algorithm, if it is not postponed again at a later date. On the other hand, blocked ETH that people have been freezing in smart contracts may come onto the market. And they bought it at a price much cheaper than it's worth now.
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 12, 2022, 08:20:39 AM
Of course I had no doubt from the start that England would beat Norway, but to beat them by such a huge score is just unbelievable. Perhaps the English have decided to show that they are favourites in the World Cup for a reason, and that they have a great footballing team, even the women.
1880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Women's Euro 2022 on: July 11, 2022, 07:06:43 PM
I had no doubt Austria would win, although I am no expert on women's football. I am more oriented towards the men's national teams. Usually, the countries that play good football always have good youth and women's teams. Let's see how England play against Norway. So far, Norway have had more attempts to get their attacks started.
