1861  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: April 03, 2022, 01:49:59 PM
When a world war happens, the amount of damage it causes to humanity varies, therefore we can expect significant effects on Bitcoin. In the event of a world war, some governments will use bitcoin as a payment option. I'm just assuming that if a world war occurs, people will find methods to exist without money, because what's the use of investing money if you can't cash it out during a chaotic scenario.
Bitcoin is now acceptable anywhere in the world, even if the government will intervene, they would think of banning it but the other part of the world would not do that because some countries have already legalized bitcoin.
1862  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: April 01, 2022, 07:52:29 PM
This is certainly getting better for making bitcoin stronger, it has been proven that bitcoins continue to be valuable because the number of users continues to grow, the latest data shows that users in africa are up more than 2500% and this will keep the market moving and this year's price could reach $100 k.
Are we sure we need a help from this country? I mean this country supposed to be our enemy for now because of what they did to Ukraine and even without their help btc is already strong. We have enough users and if those users work together (not selling btc but continue buying) for some time, btc will become more stronger.

If not Russia we still have Ukraine that will also adopt bitcoin. I think they are only returning the favor, this can be their way of saying thanks for the btc and crypto donations that they got last time. For russia, they only use btc for their own good. They think they can partially escape the sanction if they will use btc.

It's not really the help that what we are talking about here, Russia would adopt bitcoin because of the sanction that is imposed on them, with that, it means demand for bitcoin and it will result in a good price. However, there are some negative aspects as well that are pointed out by OP, but not seeing it as serious one as it is not possible to kill the entire community just to defeat one country economically.
1863  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What have been your crypto trading experience on: April 01, 2022, 02:37:31 PM
Over some time, I have tried to understand and take advantage of the many possibilities in cryptocurrency trading this emerging venture has helped many to reach their goals. What is the most valuable experience that has been a guide for your cryptocurrency trading?
1. I'd learn that trading isn't for everyone
2. I'd learn that patience is the key to succeed in trading
3. I'd learn to accept losses
4. And lastly, Decision-making

Perhaps, I don't really have a good experience in trading, I was about to quit after losing money but then, I realize this is all gonna happen and If I quit, it gives me no chance to take it back.

Scammers will always triggering new trend, after end of hype they will shift to triggering other trend. After defi, metaverse is another trendy platform where People are keep victim by scammers cause people invest to multiple their capital without looking potentialities. But when good Metaverse project suffer to fillfill their roadmap, when how people expect that new shitcoin could succesful in this field!
That was not the thing I saw with these metaverses, not also for the NFT projects as some of them are worth to invest. Coz if that you think was right, nobody will invest these crypto project but somehow, people had seen it different from yours. We can't hide the fact that some of them are profitable.

We never say it was going to fail, not this time. Like ICO projects, some went dead but some also survive, metaverse will likely it looks the same.

Do you tell your friends about your crypto earnings and trading strategy?
Does it really need to tell them? That might possible if they will ask then but for as long as they don't bother to ask me, I'd rather keep quiet and keep it secret.

Sometimes it's hard to keep it to myself, but at the same time, I don't want to share my trading lifehacks.

Not was hard for me, I may call myself selfish for not telling others but I think it was not an issue, sometimes we have to be silent especially when it talks about money. For security reasons, we have sometimes not bulgar to anyone around us, not unless if they belong to your family.
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 01, 2022, 11:41:56 AM
On the contrary, I don't think that Ugas will be the aggressor here, Spence will not let that. If he pushes forward, Spence will play defense of course but will try to go inside, just like in the Danny Garcia fight. In short, he will beat on you on your own game. That's why it's hard to put a decent strategy for Ugas because Spence will going to counter him in every move. We will see who will crack first here, specially in the first 6 rounds as Spence might have a ring rust and this could be the perfect opportunity for Ugas.

My thinking is another way around. Ugas won't keep that being not aggressive since he needs to make more points and make sure he will own most of the rounds. He is aware that if he just keeps on safety, he won't win against the judge's favorite Spence. It's already expected that while Ugas will come to Spence, obviously Spence will play defense and will not go close-to-close unless a good opening will be seen for a clean punch.

I can't consider Spence has ring rust since it's just about 15 months ago to his last fight but his medical condition last August might affect his actual performance in the ring. I also read some comments about their fellow boxers that Spence is not as dangerous as before.

I like how we are sharing analysis. Let's just continue.

Maybe he will look for more opportunity to have his bread and butter, which is countering if Spence is going inside? Just by the look of this fight, it's really hard to predict the outcome as there are a lot of scenarios that can played around. Maybe 1-3 rounds it will be Ugas who are taking over, and then Spence comes back in the middle round. And make it's a good fight in the championship round. Let's see what scenario are going to happen, Ugas defense against Spence becoming the aggressor later.

If he could cut the distance, then that strategy would be effective. However, this is not Pacman, it's Spence who has a longer reach than him and is a little bit taller, so that strategy cannot be effective in the fight, therefore, he has to go with a toe to toe fight since Spence has a better boxing skills than him IMO.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 01, 2022, 11:23:12 AM
Naoya Inoue vs Nonito Donaire is going to be a legendary fight. I see Nonito probably losing the fight. Inoue is really determined and you can tell Inoue takes his training seriously. He does not treat boxxing as anything other than a competitive sport. Inoue has even received high praise from the boxing star, Mike Tyson. I can definitely see a bright future for him.

On the other hand, we see Nonito more treating boxxing as a social pageant.

Naoya is going to wipe the floor with poor Nonito.

Do you even follow Nonito Donaire's journey? You are a total BS and don't know anything. Don't include us in that seeing Donaire as a social pageant. Maybe you only know Naoya Inoue because he is a Japanese monster and most popular.

Can you elaborate on what you meant as Donaire treating boxing as a social pageant? I'm not siding with Donaire nor I'm a fan of him but if you can't support your statement, I don't know what to say.

It's like putting disgrace to what he did on Inoue and redeeming himself after that with a couple of wins against Oubaali snatching the WBC Bantamweight title and defending it against a young and prime Reymart Gaballo. He won both by TKO in just the 4th round at 39 years old.

Where's the social pageant and being poor Donaire there?

Its common to see here this kind of opinion about boxers since they are entitled to do that for the sake of discussion and maybe he is pertaining to the drama between Casimero and him. Just ignore them by clicking the ignore button to avoid seeing post like that. I’m not a fan of Donaire too but he is indeed a good boxer with a solid track record. Inoue is just famous for his 3 titled belt but that doesn't Donaire mean can’t beat him on a rematch since Donaire analyze already how Inoue moves face to face inside the ring. In my opinion Inoue has the upper hand on this match base on there previous matches.

Donaire's dream is to be an undisputed champion, if he could beat Inoue, he could set a fight with Casimero next and retire being an undisputed champion. I am excited to see the strategy of Donaire on how he would counter the aggressiveness of Inoue, he almost got him in the first round but Inoue was too conditioned, so he needs to do something that would help him beat the beast.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the sign of bull market start on: April 01, 2022, 11:02:31 AM
Lately, bitcoin has been fluctuating around $44k-$46k trying to break the resistance by pulling above $50k. I won't say this is a sign of we entering the bull season due to the recent price correlation. If Bitcoin manages to surpass $50k just take it that bull season has begun.
All altcoins fall under bitcoin to survive. If bitcoin increases in price, they join.

Even if bitcoin will break that resistance and will be trading at $50k, I wouldn't still be too confident that it will result to a bull run situation. I've seen that scenario many times already, and a bull trap is real when the market is still in correction stage, and I believe it's still too early for the next bull run.
1869  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 31, 2022, 10:30:31 PM
According to my analysis, technical analysis of BTC has started to show its growth, maybe it will test the resistance level at 50K first before continuing or breaking above 50K. Fundamentally BTC is also starting to be positive.
We're moving down at this moment, we're turning back to $45k quiet to see the resistance didn't yet get the rising momentum and just it moves in sideways again.

However, I was still very much positive about the market and I don't have to consider this correction could make everyone going to panic. I'd consider this as an accumulation phase as it really possible that after this correction huge pumps can be happening next. We have to anticipate the market before it was going too late.
1870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the sign of bull market start on: March 31, 2022, 09:59:12 PM
The most significant sign in the market that we can say was already in the Bullrun state when prices are consistently going high. https://www.gfinityesports.com/cryptocurrency/crypto-bull-run-what-does-it-mean-and-when-is-the-next-bull-market/

By looking at the market chart we can just see that majority of the coins/token's prices are rising like what happened last year. However, we never know when it comes to most of the time people got surprised especially those who have never often checked the market and their investments.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: March 31, 2022, 06:25:35 AM

Its exciting to watch a match when both fighters are knockout artist. We can already see someone could just fall any moment.

Since Innoue once defeated Donaire , I guess its easy to say he can do it again. The monster really proved himself to be the tough one, he nearly crushed the ribs of Donaire in the previous fight.  It encourages a fighter when he sees the people around the ring cheers for him, it might be a long shot for Donaire for this will be held in Japan.

Most probably Inoue will win the fight, however, looking at the previous fight of Donaire, we can also say that he is back and could do the same knockout to Inoue if Inoue will not be careful. Donaire still has good timing in boxing, his counter punch is solid and could put an opponent on the canvas, so seeing a knockdown from Donaire is already enough for me.

If Inoue will take the fight lightly and forget about Donaire's KO punching capabilities.

The last fight between them was dominated by Inoue in the last few rounds, but there are some solid conversions from
Donaire, it's just so happen that Inoue have solid chin and just ignores those solid punches.

We don't know if that will be the same case once this fight happen, Donaire is back, and he won his last fight with solid
strategy, if he can adjust and enhance it more, his winning chance is still possible.

But it will still be Inoue who will be the favorite.
Of course, there's no debate on who will be the favorite or the underdog of the fight as it's pretty obvious which fighter would be the favorite or the underdog.

I still trust Donaire here but I won't expect a lot as we all know he is getting old and Inoue is not an easy opponent.
The last time they fought, Inoue made the right adjustment and I have a feeling he can do it again if Donaire will start strong.

May the best man wins, this is a fight between two champions, so it's not easy to predict.

He has a good chance, but if the odds are not attractive, I wouldn't put my bet on him.

Maybe if bookies would offer at least 3.00 odds, then I might think of taking Donaire to win, and also try to bet on the KO per range or rounds, since we all know that Donaire could KO anyone.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 31, 2022, 05:33:37 AM

For Tagoe it could be a great surprise that he can win, in fact it is a great advantage that Tagoe can take advantage of in the fight, although it is not the idea and it would be a somewhat dirty strategy, I hope that they only limit themselves to giving a fight based on sports .

The mental problem has been existing for quite a while for Garcia. He rest for a while to solve that problem, and now on his come back, I'm sure that problem is already gone, or it that still remains at least he knows how to manage himself since he already submitted himself for healing.

I expect a more dangerous Ryan Garcia after a layoff in boxing to focus on solving his problem.
1873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Past The $40,000 Barrier Again? on: March 30, 2022, 10:41:31 PM
We are surpassing $45k and are currently at $47k (upon checking on the CMC). Seeing these huge changes makes me think that we are moving back again to $50k. I expected this 2nd quarter could be bullish and as keeping on the current momentum, even reaching $60k is quite possible the next target.

However, we still need not expect more. Fluctuations can be very possible and we have to get ready for them, sometimes we have to do an exit plan.
1874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a newbie choose a better stable coin on: March 30, 2022, 10:07:32 PM
I'm looking forward to store some stable coin for future investment, maybe probably when a harder bearish market takes place to buy coins for lesser price but I can't seem to figure with stable coin can make me have a good night sleep at night with zero worries, USDT? BUSD?
BUSD is usually I used in trading and is the best option to hold during a bear market. In most exchanges, this is even still accepted and listed. I'm doing this for many years and experienced no problem using it as the price never changed. But is some suggestions from experts, it was the best idea to split your funds into BUSD and USDT.

Well, talking about worries? No, you don't need it as these stable coins are safe and less moving. Even holding for 10 years is guaranteed safe, unless if you are careless with your account.
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] George Kambosos vs Devin Haney - Undisputed Lightweight Title - June 5 on: March 30, 2022, 01:47:26 PM
Great fight for this year, of course, Haney will be listed as the favorite but I like Kambasos because he has a heart of a real warrior. I'm pretty sure that he will not back down, he would do the same damage as he did against Teofimo Lopez and we will again see an upset here.

This is a big challenge for Haney, he should not underestimate Kambasos who are coming from a big win.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 30, 2022, 11:54:08 AM
Milwaukee vs Philadelphia... what are your thoughts on this game?

76ers at -1.5 at home.
Both of them lose their previous game, but the 76ers here are the healthier team.
Do you think they can beat the defending champ?
And that day-to-day status of Giannis makes you think he might miss a game if they want to rest him. I'll tail the pick as I think they can defeat them if both Harden and Embiid will play well again. 76ers -2.5

76ers could not beat the Bucks in that game, they were up early but Bucks had a good run in the 4th quarter. Sorry to us, we lose our bet as we were thinking the home team could handle the visiting team. It was an entertaining game by the way, but 76ers does not know how to close out a game.

Moving forward, I got the Heat +4 tomorrow.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 30, 2022, 11:17:29 AM
It's difficult to tell if that is a goaltending or not when a shot is that close to the rim. IMO, it's clean as Giannis reacted fast after Embiid jumped. That was actually too fast, it's kind of scary. Instincts.  Grin
But it got me thinking, the ball downward flight is their basis to call it but how about for small guys using underhand layups without using the backboard?
They should make a new rule about it when a player shoots near the basket. Officials have missed a lot of goaltending cases and they won't even check it anymore. This could be a good learning point.
Yes, Giannis athleticism is displayed again, we have seen him blocking shots at crucial time so this is no surprised. Maybe Embiid is really on a hurry to make that shot, so maybe instead of a follow up, he could have dunk it to tie the score.

But it you look closely, it is a clean block (at least that's how I see it). Tough loss of the Sixers at home, and Heat getting the top spot again.

It's a clean block, No doubt on that call by the refs since it was reviewed multiple times. Its only crucial block that’s why many disagree on that call because they are in favor with Sixers. I enjoy watching the game same with Clippers Vs Jazz that both action pack games that end up to come back on the last quarter of the game. I bet +6.5 on Bucks so I was worried during that block because it might result into OT that might be in favor to sixers because Giannis is already exhausted.

It was a good game, both teams are exchanging 3 point shots in the last minutes of the game, the goal tending and then overturned the call, which was big for the 76ers. However, we can already tell that the Bucks are dictating the tempo, they make some good plays and therefore they deserve that win.

1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: March 29, 2022, 01:25:13 PM

Overall, Grizzlies are a great team this season but playoffs will be a bit different and knowing that most of the players in the team don't have that much experience in the playoffs I think it might affect their whole performance as a team.

Let's see how they will play.

I have a feeling that this team will be a surprise in the West.
The way they are playing now, you can tell they have good chemistry and consistency, so a team that is underrated, would certainly give a big problem to the old and experienced teams.
1880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is a centralized SCAM and will drop to $30 again on: March 28, 2022, 11:18:46 PM
Why do people go in ETH now or trust ETH now when the secret to success was to buy ETH at $0.25 or $10?

When now you are better off going in projects that are like early eth for example koinos which the devs work relentlessy on daily as you can see on github but its still so cheap as eth was day1 so this is a chance to make $100k from $100 while eth is not only making the rich richer

The price of ethereum will not drop to $30 if there are still many projects that use the ETH network.
More than 5 years I waited for the price to drop and the lowest price of ethereum in 2018 was under $100 and I waited for the price to drop below $50 but it never came
Ethereum is one of the most valuable coins in the crypto market. Thinking it drops back to $100 is not possible anymore, unless the market collapse. But for as long as ETH had still in high demand and the networks is working, of course, it was impossible. I bet OP is wrong and his stance is out of reality coz I still see the benefits of having ETH as an investment besides, this is not a shitcoins that we could really think will become devaluated.
