921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | POSTPONED on: March 31, 2023, 08:42:35 AM
But in this case, Inoue and his camp doesn't want to do that, or at least Inoue going through the pain of fighting because it's not going to be very good and his performance might be hindered by it, hence we might suffer his first career loss.

That's the risk of coming back prematurely. If Inoue loses, it could hurt his future and diminish his value. As the current top-ranked boxer, losing to a champion who is not as popular could be a huge setback. Inoue needs to be smart about his return and not force things. He should ensure that he is 100% ready before making a comeback. Pride is insignificant if it results in an unexpected outcome. At the end of the day, boxing is a business, and a boxer's value is crucial.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 31, 2023, 05:55:59 AM

Nuggets vs Pelicans too; I'm not tossing any money either way, but there is speculation of Jokic not suiting up for tonight, that void can't be filled and as such, I might lean a bit more towards New Orleans Pelicans.

Since he didn't play, the line movement has been quite volatile. I believe this will lead to an easy win for the Pelicans, as they are in desperate need of a win. The home team has already secured the number 1 spot in the West, so there's no need for them to push too hard. This game may be a relatively relaxed affair, providing the Pelicans with an opportunity to improve their ranking.

You're right, it was the Pelicans who won the game, and it wasn't even close. In fact, the Nuggets recorded their lowest score of the season with only 88 points, which is significantly lower than their average. This shows that the Pelicans' defense was very effective in limiting the Nuggets' scoring opportunities.

I had a feeling that would be the outcome, and because of it, I had a decent win on this game. CJ McCollum's outside shooting and Ingram's mid-range shooting were crucial factors that helped the Pelicans secure the victory. They controlled the game and even held a lead of as much as 19 points. Although the Nuggets made a bit of a comeback, the Pelicans started another run in the fourth quarter that left the Nuggets with no chance to catch up.

I saw that coming, of course! but then Denver Nuggets lost every single quarter of the game, so it was a complete disaster for them, even if Jokic wasn't available for the game, Nuggets should at least be competitive, they looked very lost from the 1st Quarter, I understand there isn't much to lose for Denver Nuggets but that was an utter shit show from them, so much for me staying up late to watch the game.

Boston Celtics also blew out the Milwaukee Bucks tonight.

Ironically, it was Celtics losing to the Washington wizards awfully yesterday, and Milwaukee Bucks running rampage against Indiana Pacers and all their starters did really good numbers, Giannis with a triple double and Jrue Holiday with whooping 50+ points, but today they were humbled and brought back to earth with an efficient defense. Both the Bucks and Denver Nuggets loss tonight were the worse either team have succumbed to so far this entire season.
It's difficult to trust the games of teams that have already secured a playoff spot, as they may choose to play more conservatively to avoid injuries. The Nuggets might have taken this approach in their game against the Pelicans, resulting in the Pelicans dominating the game and not allowing the Nuggets to mount a comeback.

This was a good opportunity for those who analyze the games well, such as the Nuggets game where the spread opened at -7.5 but stayed at -1.5, indicating a shift in the expected outcome.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 31, 2023, 05:23:23 AM
However, it's time to move on and focus on the upcoming fight. Hopefully, Nghitumbwa won't take any tips from Akaho.

What kind of tip are you referring to? To become the best actor? Just kidding!

On a more serious note, we can't be sure if Nghitumbwa has the skills to match Casimero's, but I'm hoping that this fight will at least be entertaining. There are rumors that the fight will be held in the Philippines, which would make it a significant event for Filipino fans.
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying cheap is best formula on: March 30, 2023, 04:33:52 AM
Buying cheap is obviously the formula to gain profit and value, not just in bitcoin but in everything in the market. The question is, how cheap is cheap to you? How confident are you to catch the dip? The best way to do this is thru cost averaging. After years of experience in trading and investing, I realized that it is mission impossible to catch the dippest and the highest prices. So we should be more contented with every gain we have no matter the amount.

I am into DCA on bitcoin and so far so good. And if ever it will go down just like last year, it doesn't matter because I can buy cheaper and it helps my purchase cost a little lower.

There is no way we can ascertain the lowest or highest. I remember in December 2018 when bitcoin went down to 4000$ then there were news that bitcoin may go down to 1000$ or even to zero. But we all saw Bitcoin making a strong comeback few years after. Month back bitcoin was at 16k and we listen news every now and then that bitcoin may go down to 10k. Having said that it's  best to set a target and start buying as soon as you see that price.
Check out this website to see how much profit you can earn if you adopt DCA strategy https://dcabtc.com/
Well, at least using this strategy "buy during the dip" even without the target price, you are still safe. Because we know that we can't predict the market and have no way to know when it drops but considering the thing about buying in every dip, I was certain that it works fine. And it now matters to us if we will buy or wait for the next drop but I was sure that strategy works so well.
Anyways, DCA is known to everyone - in fact, I applied this even during the market. The most important is that we know what we are doing and are consistent on it.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH the King of Altcoins ? on: March 29, 2023, 09:58:51 PM
It still is one of the king of altcoins for now, but people already tired I would say for the ridiculously high fee for every transaction make even when ETH changed from PoW to PoS where people have been anticipated for long time. It does make sense for them to change the choice and most likely people think BNB is the king of altcoin for now where it's almost does the same purpose. But still, ETH is one of the pioneer there for the smart contract  thingy.
Tired of what? Though we can say that fees make some people hate Ethereum, yet still a lot of users keep using this despite the huge fees that they pay to move their coins. And this will never affect the trust of ETH and we know that this coin had contributed a lot to the crypto market until today which it means that it deserves to be at the top among altcoins.
XRP had once surpassed ETH before but it never stay long. Now people are saying BNB, is only a joke and pure speculation as this coin is still far when compared to Ethereum.

I've found out that a good plan must be coming from us, not from others.
Honestly, many people had already joined groups like this but guess what, instead they learn more but unfortunately, they get nothing other n than falling into bad calls because someone has made their decisions.

Okay, not I say this group is a scam but you must prove it either as many groups like these are scammers and the are collecting money from innocent and greedy people.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 29, 2023, 09:42:56 AM
It appears that the odds for a Ginebra ML win are a trap, as they are struggling to find their rhythm and are not hitting their shots. While SMB is not leading by a huge margin, I predict that this series will be 2-1 after this game. However, I don't believe there will be a Game 5. If SMB wins here, then it's likely that Ginebra will finish the series in four games.
There's a reason for the celebration today as Ginebra managed to complete a sweep against SMB with a massive comeback win. The team's never-say-die attitude was evident in this game, and there will be no tomorrow for SMB. Ginebra can now rest early, thanks to the excellent comeback win they just achieved. Congratulations to the bettors who had faith in Ginebra and did not listened into the trap thing as the result confirmed that it's not.
They have made it to the finals once again, and there will be no sister team this time as Ginebra has swept SMB. Coach Gallent must have realized that they cannot be a championship team without JMF, and the organization must have learned that letting go of Arwind Santos and Cabagnot was not a wise decision. In fact, SMB began to struggle after these two starters were traded.

The match-up between TNT and SMB is expected to be exciting, but for that to happen, TNT must win Game 2 to avoid a do-or-die situation.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 3) on: March 29, 2023, 05:30:07 AM

This is Casimero's first fight this year, so he will need to start strong if he hopes to secure an opportunity to fight against a top challenger or champion in this division.

It's true that Casimero tends to start his fights strongly, and his only loss came from a disqualification. Additionally, being in a division where reaching the required weight is not a struggle for him will undoubtedly work in his favor.

However, his upcoming opponent is also a KO artist, making for a great fight that promises some intense action. Given that both fighters have a reputation for quick finishes, it's possible that we might see a bloody and action-packed match. If the fight goes the full 12 rounds, Casimero may be at risk of losing, as he typically wins his fights with his signature counter-punch KO in the earlier rounds.
We will see. Experience in my opinion is a big plus for every boxer especially when you already reached the top of the mountain where it gets most intense.
All Casimero should do is think of this like a championship fight and he will definitely have the upper hand.

Fillipus Nghitumbwa got his first loss from his first pro fight so I guess he was just shocked at that moment, but he knocked out that boxer when they met again in the boxing ring.
I don't really know much about the guy, but looking at his records, most of his fights are in their country South Africa, unlike Casimero who had experience with different fighters in different places.
This situation shouldn't be a significant threat to Casimero as he would not have to start from scratch if he hadn't lost his belt. He is now attempting to reclaim the championship title in a different division and will need to work his way up from the bottom again.

However, I believe that if he can secure a victory in this fight, it could lead to significant opportunities for him in the future. While I do not underestimate his opponent, he is a relatively unknown boxer.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 29, 2023, 04:49:11 AM
The Warriors are currently losing. What is the best decision to make at this point, the moneyline or the handicap?

It appears that their struggles from the previous game have carried over, as they seem to be experiencing a hangover effect. However, given that they are the defending champions, there is hope that they will sort out their issues in the second half. As an alternative, I am considering placing a bet on the Warriors in the third quarter, as they have a tendency to perform well during this period, especially when they are down at the end of the first half.

Regardless of the type of betting line used, the Warriors emerged victorious. Despite being down by as much as 17 points, they made a comeback in the second half and defeated the Pelicans by 11 points. The Warriors put on an impressive performance, with standout players such as JP and Curry, and particularly Draymond Green, who demonstrated his exceptional defensive skills. In the second half, the Warriors displayed their characteristic strength and dominance, reminding everyone why they are considered one of the top teams in the league.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | POSTPONED on: March 28, 2023, 02:36:01 AM
In any case, what is the latest news? Is this fight only postponed or is there a chance of a cancellation? This might give a chance for Casimero to enter the show if he can challenge someone with a high rank in super bantamweight.

As for now, the status is "postponed", and no rumors of it being canceled. Seems that Fulton's camp is just fine waiting for the rescheduled date to give way on Inoue's full recovery. As per ETA, the rescheduled date will be in Japan's summer period.

As for Casimero, it's easy to challenge those boxers at high rank but the problem is, these top-ranked boxers are not interested "for now" to face Casimero. Quadro Alas should at least settle to fight first at those low ranked and build again his name to be recognized.

Currently, it's good that Casimero has an upcoming fight now. He just needs to continue winning until being involved again in the contender's discussion.
Casimero has to climb the ladder again as he has already lost his superstar status. However, he is showing good development because after a win, he now has an upcoming fight, which I think he has no problem winning. Maybe one day, Casimero will have a championship fight in this division. Besides, he can still attract a crowd due to his good marketing style.

The Bulls are getting 4.5 points here.  Really tough call.  Any suggestions?

I guess keep rolling mate, Bulls are in a mission to win while the Clippers have been struggling recently due to the loss of PG. I would take the same, maybe I'll even put a little bet on the moneyline as this team is legit, they are having a good momentum now.
932  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can old trading strategies work again? on: March 27, 2023, 10:01:20 PM
Thinking about how trading strategies need to always be changed and how one strategy may not work for a long time, what do you do with the strategy that you are about to change. do you just forget about it completely once a new strategy starts working for you? or do you keep it in remembrance for the future. If you have experienced this before; has any old trading strategy that you decided to apply work for you? Is it possible that old strategies may work in the future again?
We can't say that they will still work efficiently but I was sure that some of them can still be usable in some situations. We can still use some of them but it is also important that we need to develop or make some upgrades to our strategies in order to cope with the continuous market changes. It is to know that the market behavior is quite changing as well. If we could think, there are old and new strategies it means that traders continue creating and developing strategies just to align the market behavior and so we need to adopt them as well.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Circulating supply matters to you? on: March 26, 2023, 09:56:15 PM
I choose coins for investment based on these things;
 - circulating supply
 - exchanges

Investing in the low cap is usually the most preferred by the majority knowing the fact that this will have the chance for the price to grow.
However, it did not just stop there as we also consider the exchanges where it was listed for this will also affect its trend and the interest of the investors/traders. Because not all projects that have low circulating supply become successful, some also fail due to lack of support from the developers and yes, it is listed only in not popular exchanges.
934  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Starting now. on: March 26, 2023, 05:40:26 PM
I had a different thread on how to start on Bitcoin and had so many useful and helpful knowledge given to me at that thread. I just wanna say thanks to all those who replied to my post. And also, yes, I will be starting to do trading on cryptocurrencies. With that being said, I also want to take this opportunity to ask, what would be the best cryptowallet to use at this time?
Staying safe is the most important thing in this crypto currency nowadays. Hardware wallets are the most essential and important to stay secure. Whenever you use hardware wallet you will have no chance of hacking this wallet. Sometimes it is heard that many people's wallets have been hacked. And they find it too risky to survive here later. That's why it's most important for all of us who work here and earn money to use a hardware wallet.
However, despite of acquiring those hardware wallets, we still not be confident enough that we are totally safe. We have to consider the vulnerability to the hacking issue that usually happens to many holders as they are targetting wallet address that contains a huge amount of Bitcoin. As suggested by most, we never keep our funds in a single wallet but rather spread them to different addresses. And most of all, must keep them private and skip those links/emails that we never know where they come from.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 24, 2023, 08:01:20 AM
Ginebra -2 and over 215.5. I think this is a good bet, considering it's the first game and, if I recall correctly, the team that wins game 1 wins the series most of the time. I also bet on the over because I'm sure it's going to be a close game, and since both teams love to shoot from outside and drive the ball, they could easily get into foul trouble while also scoring points from the outside, so it will likely result in going over the point total.
It's easy to take advantage of the odds and make easy money. In Game 1 bet on Ginebra, they are favored by -2 points, and if they lose, you can simply double down in Game 2. There's no way Ginebra will lose twice, and if there is any suspicion of rigging, the referees will likely help them to win by a comfortable margin. That's why I believe it's "easy".
Right now, my bet is looking good as Ginebra is already leading by 15 points. If they continue to play with that great defense, I must say I have an easy win. My total bet on over is also looking good since it's already over 222.5 live. Anyway, the game is not over yet, so hopefully, I'll have a great start today.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 24, 2023, 06:12:19 AM
^ An important game for them (the Lakers) tomorrow as they go up against the Oklahoma City Thunder, who they are tied with for the last play-in tournament spot along with the New Orleans Pelicans. The Lakers winning this game would give them a little separation and maybe take off a little of the pressure of not making the play-in tournament at least.
Indeed, it's going to be a tough game as OKC is also trying to secure their chance in the play-in tournament. The only advantage the Lakers have is their home court advantage because I believe OKC is the better team overall. I'm not sure, but I think I like to bet on the road team just to go against the public.

938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What could have happened to all meme coins on: March 23, 2023, 10:00:48 PM
I am wondering what the fate of projects like Volt inu, Baby Doge and other meme coins would have been if Elon Musk never supported Doge coin, would Shiba inu ever made it to top 20? What would have happen to meme coins? Will there ever be any if Elon never existed?

Doge was the original meme coin which was originally started as a joke. I don’t really know why Elon backed it so much, I think he just enjoyed the love he got from the community & he’s a little bit of a troll. Doge will never go mainstream & be a means of payment in the real world.

I don’t think SHIB & the lesser known meme coins would have done as well without Elon pumping & shilling it no. Lots of people who invested in them made a lot of money, they can definitely be thankful to Elon for his part in the success of these coins.
It was a surprise how Elon Musk do it but never I think this will never happen again unless he really has to play the crypto market and give favor to the investors. However, in the case of Shiba Inu and other meme coins, that is somewhat hard to believe that it shows a huge pump. They are useless projects in general and have no reason to see the bullish nor EM would love to do it.

I don't give hope to the people but of course, I don't stop them either. Yet they must also know the risk of buying these coins as it never gives any assurance for ROI.
939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Trade on Emotions on: March 23, 2023, 09:37:19 PM
That is really the most common problem with newbies, even myself before. I wanted to learn fast so that I could start earning, which is wrong and takes more time if you are doing it, as you keep coming back to learn things you don't know yet. People always think trading is easy, but when they try it, they quit immediately, as it is difficult, takes time, and over the span of years, you are still learning. Also, emotions are a big part of it, which is why others are also coming up with strategies on how they can control themselves.
Controlling emotion is not an easy thing to do. It sometimes requires a lot of experience to have that ability. So, newbies who think to learn it fast, simply fail to have good control of their emotions. This is very dangerous because they will have a big chance of losing money due to lack ability of controlling emotions. I agree that many newbies think trading is easy, whereas trading is a quite complicated thing to do.

I don't think that experience can help it but it should be on our mindset and attitude to do it. Because no matter how long you are here in the market do trade but if you are not able to change the way you respond to a certain situation, something never happens. It was hard for those who are lazy to work on it but for those who have the dedication, that is only a small thing because they that it really affects their trade and that is they have to do it.
940  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price is looking positive green on: March 23, 2023, 12:53:22 PM
It was not unusual to see the current situation as we are expecting this to come after the bear market. The price of Bitcoin moves slowly high and sees a huge impact on the altcoin sections bringing light to them. As we can see, the majority of altcoins are improving their price as well. Yet, it was the question if the market is able to keep on the uptrend momentum or there is a correction occurs in the coming days. But whatever the situation awaits us, we believe that the market will turn bullish someday and we don't have to waste any single opportunity before it comes.
