1861  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: September 10, 2017, 12:52:05 PM
is bitcoin more popular than US Dollar ?
As of this moment and unfortunately, Bitcoin has no chance of beating USD especially in terms of popularity. In fact there are atill people are country wherein Bitcois not yet recognized or know nothing about it. And also, USD is a regular currency, it has a physical market value and its price is more stagnant compared to the market value of Bitcoin. But who knows what tomorrow could bring for Bitcoin.

The stock market is 70% overvalued ... crash now inevitable

Author Charles Dickens' classic, A Tale of Two Cities, begins this way: "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness ... ."

According to one stock market analytical firm, GMO, today's market behavior resembles Dickens' book, which was published in 1859 and was set during the time of the French Revolution some seven decades earlier.

As the firm noted, in recent days much of the investing and financial world was focused on a meeting in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, attended by Federal Reserve chairperson Janet Yellen. But GMO analysts were watching other things and events happening in the market.

In August, the firm noted in its monthly report – reproduced in part by Zero Hedge – that Shiller P/E, a respected metric for measuring U.S. equities valuation, surpassed 27. Given that normally its range is somewhere slightly above 16, it appears that valuations are looking a bit larger than they should be.

What's more, GMO noted, the last time the Shiller P/E was above 27 was in October 2007, "and we all know how that movie ended," the GMO report said.

'A tale of mediocrity, at best'

And though no one at the analytical firm is saying that the nation and the world are set to experience another Great Recession and near-meltdown of the global economic order – and nothing is written in stone saying that stocks are not allowed to become more expensive – "we continue to maintain our bias against U.S. stocks," the firm said in its report.

At the same time, the firm said, it was tracking a widening disconnect between fundamentals of the U.S. economy, corporate America and their stocks. "It really is a tale of two cities," the analytics firms said, "one of mediocre fundamentals versus a meteoric rise in markets."

In assembling some relevant metrics pertaining to the overall health of the economy and some top-line/bottom-line figures from the S&P 500 index, the firm looked at gross domestic product growth, productivity and household income, in addition to some others like revenue and earnings for U.S. stocks, just to round out the assessment.

"It is a tale of mediocrity, at best," the firm wrote in its report.

After that, analysts contrasted those metrics with actual market returns of the S&P 500 Index spanning the past five years. "Truly meteoric," the firm wrote, adding this caveat: "As an aside, we at GMO have always been leery of drawing too many investment conclusions from staring at economic data–we are more valuation-oriented, after all–but even we are struck by the divergence."

Cool
Bitcoin is a good investment and is profitable to most of its users especially its investors. It is a good investment because it has a high market demand and market value. Its price is increasing from time to time and as time passes by. It is also a good investment because there are lits of ways to make profit in Bitcoin. And just by holding it in a long period of time, you will already earn profit in the future.
1863  Economy / Marketplace / Re: how earn btc from online??? on: September 10, 2017, 03:53:42 AM
hey...I want to know easily  earn btc from online...can you give some tips about it...someone only tell me that earn btc easily bt they not given any tips...plz...anyone help me
Join different campaigns. Campaign is a good source of income and also to earn Bitcoin. Weekly campaigns directly pays Bitcoin as a reward while bounty campaigns uses tokens as rewards. Those tokens can be converted or traded to Bitcoin which its value varies on the market's rate of exchange. You'll just need to finish the cmpaign to be able to receive a reward at the end of the campaign. You may look for campaigns in Altcoin section, marketplace then bounties thread, and choose a campaign as you like. Rules on the campaign shoild be followed.
1864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin 5 years from now? on: September 10, 2017, 02:59:53 AM
What are your thoughts guys or is it worth to hold Btc for 5 years.
Five long years from now? Maybe Bitcoin is already legal to most of the countries because as of now, more people are interested to Bitcoin on how profitable it is and with its features such as being decentralized which allows its users to freely use  their wealth. The demand is already increasing at this point so I think we can already expect for the best on Bitcoin in the future.
1865  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: September 10, 2017, 01:59:51 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.
I think, no one knows how long will it exactly last. Twenty years is a long period of time, and based on the overall statistics of Bitcoin from the market demand, to its market value, I can say that it is possible for Bitcoin to last for that long. And after 20 years? Maybe Bitcoin is legal to most of the countries as a currency and will be accepted by local retailers of most countries in the future.
1866  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is that possible to earn bitcoin with Youtube Channel? on: September 09, 2017, 10:48:08 PM
We often earn money from youtube channel by showing ads from adsense and suppose if someone want to earn bitcoin by showing ads on their youtube videos then is there any alternative ad network which provide ads for youtube channel?
As od this moment, unfortunately is not. Usually a youtube channel will earn profit from the number of views and popularity. Youtube is under adsense. Adsense is responsible for youtube monetization. Profit earned by youtube channels are paid trhough fiat or paypal   it is just that regular currency is used . Maybe in the future, it will be possible especially if Bitcoin will be legal to most of rhe countries.
1867  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 09, 2017, 10:22:05 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
It will somewhat depend with your goal. If you want to make more profit out of your money, you shoukd invest it online. Why online? because it is the new trend. Lots of companies are bringing their businesses online to cope up with technology. And if you're afraid of the risk on investing, maybe you should just save it in banks and use it whwn it is needed.
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Bitcoin is better than Gold? on: September 09, 2017, 09:42:05 PM
So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
I think, in some aspects it is. But overall, and as an investment, Gold is still better. Ofcourse, the market value and market capital of Bitcoin is way higher than Gold's. But as an investment, still, Gold has more investors and is widely used by different countries for a long period of time bevause it has a physical market value, and more stagnant value than Bitcoin, which is good when it come to an investment.
1869  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: September 09, 2017, 11:31:55 AM
Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

1-Quick transactions – Bitcoin is transferred quickly over the Internet.
2-No expenses/low charges – Unlike credit cards, Bitcoin can be utilized for nothing or low costs.. This enhances revenues margins deals.
3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.
5-Much More Easier – Bitcoin is Much more easier rather than we think.Means to say It’s Much more easier than transfering a Payment from bank account From bitcoin you can even transfer a Payment in few clicks even While listening songs.
-Hope this will help you in believing Bitcoins !
I agree with the things listed. But the thing that I think people needs to consider is how profitable Bitcoin is. There are lots of ways to earn profit from Bitcoin, which means if an individual is capable of doing those things, more profit will be assured. Just by holding your Bitcoin, you will already earn profit because Bitcoin market value increases from time to time as well as the profit to be earned ehich also shows how easy it is to earn profit from Bitcoin.
1870  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Can be $5,000 Again? on: September 09, 2017, 10:20:28 AM
Just days ago, predictions and projections were pointing to the possibility that Bitcoin can be able to clobbered the $5,000 mark and it did happen. But what followed was a big correction due to massive sell-off (profit-taking is the possible reason here which is nothing alarming actually) and so we are now back almost at the $4,500 - $4,600 range.

However, since Bitcoin had already broken the $5,000 wall, it would be now easier for it to do it again this time. We just don't know when can that be...will it be tomorrow, next week or just within the month of September?

I'm not awared with this. I didn't know that it already reached the 5000 dollar mark this month. As far as I know, the highest market value that Bitcoin reached is 4800 dollar and it is the highest value Bitcoin had sincw its existence. But it is possible for Bitcoin to reach the 5000 dollar mark by December and it will be because of the fork that will happen in the month of November, because the fork that happened last month of August made Bitcoin reach the 4000 dollar mark, so things are expected to happen again.
1871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really A Currency or An Asset? on: September 09, 2017, 09:38:37 AM
Bitcoin has been touted as a crypto-currency, capable of replacing fiat currencies but the reality today is that most people prefer to hold bitcoins rather than spend it. Can we really say it si a currency when a large number of bitcoin users treat it as an asset?
In my opinion, it relies in between being an asset and currency. For investors, it is an asset that increases its value as time passes by. And for its users, it is a currency because they may use it to buy the things that they want, especially in countries where Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency is legal as a currency. I believe that it is currently an asset because there are still places where it can't be used as a currency.
1872  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature Campaign Question on: September 08, 2017, 11:40:23 PM
I have no intent to leave my signature campaign but I'm curious to know, is it considered rude or unreliable to join a signature campaign and leave it for another?  I would think it is an annoyance but I see people post in various campaign threads that they are leaving.
It's okay to leave a campaign but make sure that you'll tell it to the Bounty campaign manager to somehow avoid anomalies concerning Campaign advertisements. As a participant, you have a right to leave a campaign if you don't want the service you are getting. Also, it's okay if you'll find another campaign that you want for some reason such as higher profit or related to the length of the campaign.
1873  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: September 08, 2017, 11:05:31 PM
why so many people store their bitcoin in their wallet for a long time, whether the benefits will they get?

Come share your thoughts

The benefit of storing or holding your Bitcoin for a long time is that, your profit will grow over time. Bitcoin market value increases from time to time, which means if you will store your Bitcoin, its price will increase as well as the profit that you will get in the future. This is the common strategy of Bitcoin investors, this is easier and less risky than trading, but still, the profit is good with this strategy.
1874  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invest in Bitcoin right now? on: September 08, 2017, 10:17:50 PM
Hello!

Thanks for reading this topic.

I have some money at the bank which I actually don't need. The interest rate is a joke, so I'm looking for long term investment.
BTC price is kind of high right now if you look at the charts and history. But I read a lot of topics and it looks like this doesn't matter at all.

Let's say I want to buy like 2BTC. Do you advice to do it right now or wait till when?

Thanks!!!
Do it right now, since Bitcoin market valus is continuously increasing, profit is assured. And there'll be another hardfork that will happen in the month of November. As far as I remember, the recent fork that happened last month of August made Bitcoin to go skyrocket in all aspects. In just 20 days it reached the 4000 dollar mark and we could expect for the same thing in the next hardfork. So if you'll invest now, you'll be able to grab the oppurtunity of having huge profit after the fork.
1875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of Bitcoin you earned? on: September 08, 2017, 09:38:14 PM
Since I'm still a Newbie, I just want to know what is the highest amount of Btc you earned? (especially for high rankers). And what are your techniques to become successful?

I'm curious of how much can Bitcoin change one's life Smiley
I have 0.51789 Bitcoin and I earned it from different campaigns. This amount is mostly from aignature campaign. The only thing I know to succeed in Signature campaign is to have a lot of patience especially if the campaign is a long term campaign that lasts for more than a month. You should also be consistent especially if the checking of stakes is weekly, you need to finish it on the given time to avoid losing stakes or losing money.

1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your top "must have" coins? on: September 01, 2017, 02:22:32 PM
Hello everyone, i'm just wondering what are your top "must have" coins that you think everyone should have? (for long term especially)
Bitcoin and Etherium. Bitcoin because, it is the no.1 cryptocurrency and is the most potent to be continuously grow in the future because of its high demand and large community. Etherium because it is the competitor of Bitcoin and probably the no.1 altcoin as of this moment. Also, Etherium is commonly used in ICOs. Every coin is potent to be a must have, it is just that all crypto are volatile so fluctuations cannot be avoided.
1878  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 01, 2017, 01:43:55 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .

Maybe it is? Maybe it's not?

I know that's not the answer you were looking for. But come on, your asking on a bitcoin forum. Expect biased answers. Yes I personally think it is, and I personally think bitcoin or blockchain technology in general, can reach mountainous heights in terms of worth in the future. If you were to invest in bitcoin or any kind of assets, don't spend more than you're willing to lose. Don't be like that guy who sold his house to invest in crypto.
I agree. In every investment, there'll always be a risk.  That's why when someone is trying to invest, he/she is advised to make a research first if the investment will give the investor profit. But in Bitcoin, it is somehow assured because the price is continuously increasing and is now expensive. As it is increasing, the profit that its users and investors will get is assured to be huge.
1879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: September 01, 2017, 01:03:11 PM
What's preventing Bitcoins from being accepted as mainstream payment forms? I'm working on a new blockchain and would like to learn what drawbacks of Bitcoin urgently need to be improved Wink
Maybe it is because of being volatile. In an investment, having a stable market value is a plus points, because if something's value changes from time to time, it will be risky, especially on an investment or at this case , as a currency. Also, Bitcoin is an open source system, that make countries doubt about the security. But as its demand is increasing, it will be legal to more countries in the near future.
