1881  Other / Meta / Re: Czech threads - deleted! on: June 24, 2016, 12:40:48 AM
And since there is no section in other nor announcement for Czech, it stays just in Other. That would be ok right¿

No. Posting translated coin announcements is on topic only in language/location boards that have a dedicated altcoin section.

Ok, so there is no place in this forum for that coin? What kind of censorship is this? really guys?

If there is no dedicated altcoin section it must be in the general section. sounds prety clear to me

Today was the switch over time for DGW algo to take over and it has taken over successfully. Mining now is smoother than before and there won't be transactions delays or too high difficulty for longer periods. Blocks would be solved roughly around 1 minute.
I hope that miners would rejoin pakcoin mining.

Well done dev!!

Turing completeness ? Turing no complete ?

"turing completeness"="being turing complete"

what was the last update from devs?
hey there we are here or rather there ->  #ourcoin
@koad is working on new start up ( accepting CDN as payment )  and im on the new mobile / desktop /  web  wallet / network stats

its all work in progress , screen grabs below

network stats
https://s31.postimg.org/xwvkix3hn/screenshot_localhost_3337_2015_12_05_12_00_18.png

mobile wallet

https://s31.postimg.org/sim7r5nd7/screenshot_localhost_8000_2015_12_19_23_14_20.png

hey hexdump,

thanks for the fast answer.

I'm happy for @koad setting up his own company, but that has really nothing to do with CDN developement

I see you're having some advances but to be honest I've seen some devs do more advances in a couple of months
(for example DubaiCoin DBIC) (More wallets, more services, more exchanges...)

I'm ok with you being the dev but CDN clearly needs more devs.

You can be CanadaCoin Dev Core Team but we need asap a CanadaCoin Dev Unlimited Team

I hope you agree with it, and you can both teams work together in some projects

1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sterlingcoin (SLG) - 100% PoS | Version 1.4 | Services & Merchants on: June 22, 2016, 11:10:18 PM
Hi,

I've been reading about SLG and i've got a few questions

1)What is total coinbase= 63,900,000
The total SLG is gonna be 4,000,000 SLG rigth?

2) SLG is not focused anymore in the UK?

Thanks and congratulations for the great job your doing

1) The total coinbase of Sterlingcoin is 63,900,000. PoW is finished ("normal mining") and lasted 4 months, in that time a total ~3.8 million were mined. As of this second there are 3,865,448.922SLG in Circulation. The remaining coinbase of ~60 million is used for the accrued interest on existing and future holdings of Sterlingcoin. The only way to attain Sterlingcoin is to either trade, buy, faucets and earning it through work.

2)SLG is now focused at a world audience. We learnt within the pre-launch period and first few weeks from launching the wallet our audience was spread globally and the interest far outreached the shores of the UK. Also with a development team based in the USA and UK there was no reason to hold the currency back in any way, shape or form.

Out of interest where have you been looking at info about SLG?

Here are some useful links - http://forum.sterlingcoin.org.uk/index.php/topic,2.0.html

Here is a better quote and its from the devs. And it was Rw13enlib88 that asked the questions but its some time ago so he maybe forgot about it.

Maybe you forgot to quote the rest of the post...

Niche: UK

Fucking undestand it. Not for focusing in a wider audience will make the price go up.
In fact, the unique special thing of SLG is that is focused in UK.
If you dont understand this, learn the basic concepts of marketing or just talk about what you know.

Marketcap is down to 38 BTC.  With 4 million coins and compared to other coins this is low. Devs are activ on the Silk coin and with low buy support  it can go lower. It started good but now its in waiting state.

Dude, stop crying and do something for SLG

I qouted your question and the answere from devs in whole. Your have a understanding problem or you just want to play retarded. Do something yourself. Buy some coins or shut up yourself. I have no problem with keeping my coins. I dont support this coin anymore because they are not working on it. They put all their efforts on silk and darksilk coin. Dont buy coins if you dont can afford to lose all the value of them. And when you ask questions, do remember the answeres. It would be easier for all of us.

I'm done repeting the fucking same concept.

Are you fucking retard or you still dont understand those concepts?

Quote the rest of the conversation I had with devs, where they understand those concepts.

Niche - Segmentation

Your lack of understanding is really scary. Your lack of empathy really is fucking incredible.
I understand you want SLG to be used by all the world.
But you need to think what fucking reason has the world to use your coin...
Wont they prefer to use a coin with their country in it?

btw, saying they are not working is not an excuse for not working on your investment

I quoted your question and the answer from the devs.  They have already stated before you asked about it, that its a global coin. Dont really care anymore about that. Dont get upset. Put up some buysupport and you will feel much better.  Wink

Dude, I've tried to make you understand 2 concepts of Marketing.

Obviously, you dont want to think about it.

ASK SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT MARKETING WHAT DOES HE THINK.
THEN COME BACK AND TELL US THE FUCKING ANSWER
I DONT KNOW WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND BUT
CLEARLY IT IS NOT LAUNCHING PRODUCTS INTO MARKET
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tau-Chain and Agoras Official Thread: Generalized P2P Network on: June 22, 2016, 10:59:01 PM

I can try to give you an analogy. Let's take cargo ships for instance.

I hope this analogy helps making these computing paradigms less abstract. There are many approximations and concepts that I had to stretch to makes them work with the analogy and are not really exact but that should give a rough idea of the differences, and how these affect the distributed computers that implement them.

Great analogy!

What it comes to my mind is that no real business would take this choice
Quote
And if the cargo doesn't fit, it's just thrown in the sea.
Either way they keep the money.

So, can we say...?:
Tau vs Ether
Tau = Practical for real life
Ether = Not predictable, not useful

Hace falta gente q sepa d c++, linux, hacer apps, webs, community manager...

Como digo, no es para dedicarle muchas horas, pero avanzar poco a poco es mejor que estar parados.

1889  Local / Altcoins (criptomonedas alternativas) / Re: [ANN][PTC] PesetaCoin | España | Bittrex - Cryptopia - SouthXchange on: June 22, 2016, 10:30:25 PM

Q tutoriales habias pensado hacer? Descargar la cartera? Compra venta?

1892  Other / Meta / Re: Czech threads - deleted! on: June 22, 2016, 12:20:24 PM
There was a thread about CZC and it was in Bleutrade. Now I'm checking back and it's neither here nor in Bleutrade. They also had a gateway with CZC/their own local currency
It was quite "active" coin
As hard as it to understand this, I'll take a go at it: There is no reason for Czech to have its own section (yet). There are less than 600 posts since the creation of the thread (which was 5 years ago). Since there is not dedicated section, that means that you should not be opening multiple threads regarding the same languages. Altcoin giveaway threads are also disallowed.

One Coin = one thread

In this case one in english and one in the local language.

BF>AC>ANN
BF>Local>Other
And since there is no section in other nor announcement for Czech, it stays just in Other. That would be ok right¿

Hey guys,

what's new here in Canada?

Any improvement from the last time?

I really believe we need to have all prepared for the next btc adoption phase. that will bring a lot of people.

But we need to have something to attrack new people, both investors and developers

the last tweet of @ThisIsOurCoin was 2 years agooooo

Who's managing the twitter?

Please transfer me that account and I'll take care of it.

If not I'll start a new one.

we need a new team and the community helping the new team!!

btw, goverment is ahead CDN and that's is disapointing...

Dev,

te noto un poco ausente....  Angry
