1881  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Iancoleman BIP39 Site Changed Domain from .io to .ch? on: November 01, 2022, 04:58:21 PM
Even the original Ian Coleman website is not safe, do not use that website,
If you use the online website, you are right. That's not safe. Even if you enter your seed phrase on iancoleman.io and not a fake website, there's still the chance of getting hacked.
Iancoleman is open source and if you want to use it securely, you should download the source code and run it offline on an air-gapped device.
Take note that any online website and any online wallet (including Coinomi) is unsecure.
1882  Other / Meta / Re: post deletion issue on: November 01, 2022, 02:05:24 PM
I do believe it is not moderators activity, it could be Bot behavior.
I would no longer post in this forum, if I believed that my posts are deleted without being reviewed by a human and they are all deleted by a bot.

Moderators cannot monitor my activities for 24H/7 days to find me online and delete old posts within an hour or half hour after posting a new discussion.
You are right. Moderatos don't waste their time on monitoring your activity.
Moderators review your posts if they are reported. It's not that they are always looking at your post history to check if you have made a new post.
1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Volume decreasing over time, what does this tell us? on: November 01, 2022, 12:52:53 PM
Why would a respected platform like Tradingview use crappy info like Bitstamp then? I can now see on Coin Gecko that yes volume is increasing, the exact opposite of Trading view?!
Is CG the preferred platform for stats?
Tradingview allow you to change the data source.
Just click on "Bitstamp" to see a list including some other exchanges. I don't know why by default it has been set to Bitstamp. Maybe, it's kind of advertising.

Is CG the preferred platform for stats?
Coingecko is a website for tracking different cryptocurrencies prices.
The price and trading volume reported on coingecko is calculated using the data extracted from different exchanges with weighted average formula.
1884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Iancoleman BIP39 Site Changed Domain from .io to .ch? on: November 01, 2022, 12:18:22 PM
Iancoleman's domain hasn't been changed and I can access the iancoleman.io without any problem.
It's the first time I've heard of the .ch domain and that's probably a fake website created for scamming purposes.

Edit:
I just searched for "iancoleman" on google.
It shows the .ch domain as an advertisement. It's not the first time I see google is promoting scams.

1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Volume decreasing over time, what does this tell us? on: November 01, 2022, 12:08:55 PM
I am just looking at BTC/USD on Trading View and on the weekly zoomed out, those little red and green bars are telling me volume is dropping, they are getting less prominent? What am I missing here?
Tradingview extract the data from exchanges and by default it's set to Bitstamp.
If you are looking at the data extracted from Bitstamp, that decline simply means that the bitcoin trading volume has been decreased on Bitstamp and they have lost the competition to other excahgnes.
According to Coingecko, Bitstamp's share from the total trading volume is below 0.15%.
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Volume decreasing over time, what does this tell us? on: November 01, 2022, 11:09:26 AM
Your information is wrong.
According to Coingecko, the 24 hour trading volume of bitcoin was around 3.5 billion dollars at the first day of 2017 and 2.3 billion dollars at the first day of 2018.
Now, the 24 hour trading volume of bitcoin is  around 36 billion dollars which is around 10 times the first day of 2017 and 15 times the first day of 2018.
1887  Other / Meta / Re: post deletion issue on: November 01, 2022, 07:55:07 AM
why was my post deleted after i posted?
and why when i don't make a post, none of my posts get deleted?
Your posts are deleted because someone reports them and moderators agree with the reporter. When you don't make any post, no one see you and your posts aren't noticed by spam busters.

I checked few of your posts. You say things that have been said multiple times in the previous posts.
Click here to see one of your deleted posts on Loyce.club.
You made this post on 25th page of a thread just to say that bitcoin is a good investment and investing in centralized coins is wrong. The same thing has been surely mentioned in the previous 500 posts multiple times.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How PoW becomes more centralized? on: November 01, 2022, 07:18:30 AM
You should edit to your topic to "How PoS becomes more centralized?"

In POS cryptocurrencies, for validating transactions, you must stake your coins and unlike bitcoin, you don't have to do any work. Therefore, in a POS cryptocurrency, the more coins you have, the more control you have over the network. Since a significant percentage of POS coins are usually owned by the developers, they can have big control over the network.

Here's the deleted post.
There are many other deleted posts.
If you go to modlog now and search for 854735 (the user ID of len01), you will see that 22 posts have been deleted only in the past 7 days. According to BPIP, 36 posts have been deleted by moderators in overall.

I checked a few of deleted posts through Loyce.club. All the posts I checked had been made in spam mega threads.
1890  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to get back to the first address of a wallet. on: October 31, 2022, 08:55:53 PM
No login, its just password,I haven't used electrum walle,
Am use to trust wallet, its good to learn something new.
I don't really understand you.
In the OP, you were talking about your electrum wallet and signing message an asked how to see your addresses. Now, you are saying that you haven't used electrum and you are using trustwallet.
As far as I know trustwallet gives you a single address for bitcoin and doesn't support signing/verifying messages at all.
1891  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to get back to the first address of a wallet. on: October 31, 2022, 05:40:37 PM
The problem I have is that, how can I go back to the first wallet address which I copied when before choosing the new address I wanted to use in signing a message.
You can see all your addresses in "Addresses" tab.
If you don't see "Addresses" tab, click on "View" at top of the window and select "Show addresses".

I sent the address since I opened it to a business partner and he will be sending btc into the wallet soon.
I hope my coins will enter my electrum wallet.
If the address belongs to your wallet and you didn't take that from somewhere else, any fund that is sent to that at any time will be shown in your wallet.
1892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to find the public key of btc address on: October 30, 2022, 09:08:23 PM
However, if there is at least 1 transaction on the address, then you could search an explorer or look up the firstbits on walletexplorer.
This is not accurate.  You can find the public key of an address if there's an outgoing transaction. It's not that any transaction on history of an address can help you to find its public key.
For making a transaction, you have to reveal your public key, so nodes can verify your signature. Your public key isn't revealed when you receive a transaction.
1893  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does the trust system work and is it really important in this forum? on: October 30, 2022, 03:20:41 PM
But what if a given trust is misused only for personal gain? whereas according to others the negative belief is misdirected or unnecessary.
Take note that by default only the feedback posted by DT members are shown in the trust page and the other feedback are shown as untrusted feedback.
If someone abuses the system and gives positive trust or negative trust to other users without any logical users, then the DT members can distrust his/her judgments, so his/her feedback are not shown by default.
You can also exclude anyone you want from your trust network.
1894  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: 3 questions about wallets and DEXs on: October 29, 2022, 09:59:14 PM
As far as I know two features are missing in the mobile version of electrum. One is coin control and the other one is signing/verifying messages.
If you need coin control feature for your transactions, you can use bluewallet. It's non-custodial and open-source.
1895  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does the trust system work and is it really important in this forum? on: October 29, 2022, 05:09:13 PM
I apologize if this bothers you, sir, and I would appreciate it if you could elaborate on this.Does it mean rating doesn't mean anything to a member who is only here for discussion?
You can read the posts and create new posts regardless of your trust score and your trust list.

So every member can add another member to their trust list, but what matters is the feedback they give on why the member should be trusted.
I feel you haven't still understood how the system works.

You can go to someone's trust page and post a feedback. With your feedback, you actually say that I don't trust this user. You can also post a comment and tell the community why you don't trust this user.  You can also tell the community I trust this user.
Take note that with posting a feedback, you don't make any change to your trust list.

With adding someone to your trust list, you actually tell the forum (not the community) that I trust this user's judgments. You can also go to your trust list and tell the forum that I distrust this user's judgments.
With creating your trust list, you actually tell the forum which feedback you want to see and which ones you don't want to see.
1896  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does the trust system work and is it really important in this forum? on: October 29, 2022, 03:02:49 PM
To know how the trust system works, I recommend you to read the topic created by qwk.
A short introduction to the Trust System

And read the topic created by LoyceV to know how to use the trust system correctly.

1897  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ENEDEX SCAM EXCHANGE , enedex.org SCAM on: October 29, 2022, 10:05:45 AM
Can you please provide some evidences that can prove your claim? Accusing a service of being scam without any evidence is useless.
It's the first time I've heard of this exchange and I couldn't find any scam accusations against them here in this forum or even through google.

Edit:
I thought the website in question is an exchange. It seems to be a token website. They even have a thread here in this forum. Their representative has been offline for around a year and half.
1898  Other / Meta / Re: Question About Report to moderator on: October 29, 2022, 09:17:02 AM
I am still new and never have had experience as a reporter, Possible I will receive a mark bad when continuing because I still don't really understand the rules, when I look at BPIP I have 26 Posts deleted by moderators from 387 posts.
Read the forum rules. It will help you to know which posts have been made against the rules.
Also, if you doubt whether a topic has been made in the correct board or not, you can get help from Guidelines for threads.

My stats, for example, show that I have 1 bad report and 8 unhandled ones. Yet, my reporting accuracy is 100%.
It may worth mentioning that the report accuracy is always rounded up. So, any percentage above 99% is reported 100%.
My report accuracy is now 99% while the exact percentage is 98.37%.
1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to find the public key of btc address on: October 28, 2022, 09:39:37 PM
If the address isn't yours (I mean you don't own its private key) and there isn't any transaction made from that address, there is no way to find the public key of the address.
You can't derive public key from the address. The address is derived from the public key through a one way function.

If there's a transaction made from the address, you can find its public key by checking the transaction details in a block explorer.
If the address is P2PKH (legacy), the public key is the second part of Sigscript.
If the the address is P2WPKH (native segwit) or P2WPKH-P2SH (nested segwit), the public key is the second part of witness.

Here is the sample address: 1N45DoSuhiNi5dCqMTpC2k3tfSaHEw1uKk
Since no transaction has been made from this address, there is no way to find its public key.
To know the public key of this address, you need its private key.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why btc cannot move pow to pos on: October 28, 2022, 03:25:28 PM
This question comes, Do btc network can move to pow to pos?
You can change the code and create a new coin which uses POS algorithm. But that would no longer be bitcoin. That would be a shitcoin like many other cryptocurrencies.

I am just asking and there is a issue that electricitybill too. Enery problem
If you think that bitcoin consumes so much energy, I recommend you to read the topic created by fillippone.
