1181  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin network fee´s insanly high at the moment! on: May 04, 2023, 05:01:12 PM
you can pay as low as 8 sat/vB $0.32 than 138 sat/vB $5.58 if you can wait.
Are you saying the transaction fee would be $0.32, if you set the fee rate to 8 sat/vbtye and that's $5.58, if you set the fee rate to 138 sat/vbyte?
Take note that just with knowing the fee rate and without knowing number of inputs and outputs and addresses type, you can't know how much the transaction will cost you.
1182  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin network fee´s insanly high at the moment! on: May 04, 2023, 03:44:58 PM
At the same time, the higher the volume of transactions, the busier the network and the higher its transaction fees.  It doesn't depend on the amount you are sending.  It depends on the network congestion.
Right. And in addition to network state, the required fee depends on number of inputs and outputs, addresses type and how fast you want your tranaction to be confirmed.

Because the block will give higher priority to the transaction in which the higher fee will be paid.
Miners prioritize transactions based on their fee rate, not the absolute fee.

and in the worst-case scenario, you can speed up the process by bumping up the fees.
It's worth mentioning that the fee can be bumped only if the transaction has been flagged as RBF.
1183  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin network fee´s insanly high at the moment! on: May 04, 2023, 03:27:23 PM
Whether you use Exodus, blockchain.com or any other non-custodial wallet, they don't charge you any extra fee. All the fee you pay for your transaction goes to miners. Also note that the fee you pay doesn't depend on the amount you send.
The more fee rate you use for your tranaction, the faster your transaction can be confirmed.
1184  Other / Off-topic / Re: Recommended Google Authicator for Exchange Market account on: May 04, 2023, 01:59:52 PM
You can got second chance with Twilio Authy Authenticator if mobile phone number still active whatever application have been uninstall or losing mobile phone
This means that your secret key is stored on their server. I would never recommend using such an application. It's recommended to use an open-source 2FA application which doesn't keep your data.
As mentioned above, you can use Aegis for Android and Tofu for iOS. If you worry about recovering your account in the future, just backup your accounts.
1185  Other / Meta / Re: Account rank and posts on: May 03, 2023, 05:27:31 PM
Currently you have 171 posts, while the topics you created are only 11 topics for now, if those 11 topics are removed the remaining 160 remain and subtract your activity from a total of 126 reduce the remaining 11 = 115 activity,
No. It's not possible to delete the topics and even if the 11 topics that have been made by OP are deleted, his activity won't change.
OP has been active in 9 two-week actvity periods and his actvity is now 9*14. Even if the 11 topics are deleted, his post count will be still greater than 14*number of two-week activity periods in which he has been active and his actvity won't decrease.

And it may worth mentioning that when it comes to activity calculation, there is no difference between a reply and a topic
1186  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Importing trustwallet to Electrum advisable? on: May 03, 2023, 03:34:59 PM
Please confirm if is the right importation of wallet or is there any mistake I have made?
As transactions are shown in history tab, you have imported the wallet to electrum successfully.
Just note that as already mentioned, it would be better to create a new wallet and send all the fund to that. With importing your wallet from trustwallet to electrum, you don't make your wallet more secure.
1187  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Average time for debugging support? on: May 02, 2023, 09:09:34 AM
I've sent an email and dozens of bug reports and I am wondering how long something like this usually takes to be fixed?
Email? Who did you send the email to?
As far as I know, there is no email address for contacting electrum developers at all and you should report the bugs on their github page.
1188  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Scammed? on: May 01, 2023, 04:01:57 PM
It is also possible that there was a technical glitch or vulnerability in Electrum that allowed an attacker to steal your funds. However, without more information it is difficult to determine the cause of the issue.
That's not the case.
Electrum is an open-source wallet. The code has been reviewed by many people and there is no vulnerability. It's not like a close-source wallet that we don't know how the keys are generated and what's happening behind the scene.
1189  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Scammed? on: May 01, 2023, 03:23:20 PM
I recommend you to save yourself from further attacks by reinstalling your operating system,
Reinstalling the operating system isn't enough. You should format your hard drive completely and reinstall your operating system after that.
With doing this, you would remove any malware from your hard drive, but there won't be any guarantee that the same thing won't happen again. If you want to be completely secure, you should use electrum offline on an airgapped device.
1190  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Scammed? on: May 01, 2023, 02:41:28 PM
It says "possibly self-transfer" on blockstream.info and seems to have automatically been transferred upon receiving the funds.
No one can know that whether the transaction has been made automatically or manually.
As I said in my previous post, "possibly self-transfer" doesn't give you any information about what caused the fund to be stolen. Blockstream.info marks transactions as "possibly self-transfer" if it includes only 1 output. That's all.
1191  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Scammed? on: May 01, 2023, 02:21:21 PM
But how, I need to insert a password for each time I send?
Your password encrypts your wallet file locally, so that anyone who has access to your computer can't open the wallet file without your permission. It doesn't protect your wallet from getting hacked.
Any online device is always prone to hacking.

How can I get in touch with someone from Electrum? It says "lock time 787764" and "possibly self-transfer" when I run an analysis on blockstream.info
It says "possibly self-transfer", just because the transaction includes only 1 output. That's not important.
1192  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Scammed? on: May 01, 2023, 02:09:42 PM
Either your wallet was hacked or someone had access to your seed phrase.
Whatever happened, bitcoin transactions are irreversible and if the outgoing transaction has been confirmed, there's nothing you can do.

Did you update your wallet? If yes, are you sure you downloaded electrum from the official website?
1193  Other / Meta / Re: Account rank and posts on: May 01, 2023, 09:03:36 AM
If you delete all your posts, that means the rank you have, for example, Member in rank and you have 65 total posts, then you delete 35 posts, the remaining 30 posts will be your rank, you will go down to Jr. Member again.
Note that your rank depends on number of two-actvity periods in which you have been active too.
Assuming the remaining 30 posts all have been made in a single two-week actvity period, your activity will be 14 and you will be a newbie.

I saw some users before deleted some of their old posts even though they had posts more than the activity but still their accounts went ranked down.
How is that even possible, could that have been a glitch?
Yes. Visit the topic created by GazetaBitcoin.
The curious case of the Brand New user with posts
1194  Other / Meta / Re: Account rank and posts on: April 30, 2023, 10:51:38 PM
If I decide to wipe my profile clean completely, will the rank stay ?
As already said, your activity can decrease if you delete your posts.
I just want to add that you can't delete all your posts. Topics cannot be deleted and you can only delete your replies.
1195  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is Lattice Labs using AI for making posts? on: April 30, 2023, 08:34:30 PM
Has the forum admin said report someone for replying with AI answers?
The user can be banned due to spamming as well. I reported one of the posts with a comment including a link to this topic to see what will happen.
The last 42 posts of Lattice Labs were deleted. The user may have been banned temporarily.
1196  Economy / Reputation / Is Lattice Labs using AI for making posts? on: April 30, 2023, 07:58:22 PM
Please take a look at the post history of Lattice Labs. The user got my attention after seeing his/her replies to some old topics and it seems that he/she is using AI for making the posts.
Lattice Labs made 42 posts just in 1 hour and 20 minutes and I think he/she should be banned.

Edit:
Thanks to moderators, all those 42 posts were removed. Lattice Labs's posts can be seen on ninjastic.space.
1197  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker moved coins from my wallet on: April 30, 2023, 03:46:56 PM
I'm also an Electrum user but I seldom use it now after Julerz's story.
As I said in my previous post electrum is secure enough. Just because someone got hacked doesn't mean electrum isn't secure. Electrum is open-source and there's nothing hidden from the users.
As long as your device is online, whatever wallet you use, there's the chance of getting hacked.

Never Enter your phrase, personal Gmail, Social accounts related to crypto because Laptop or Pc can easily be hacked through malware. Mobile is secure so far as i am using for 5 years and did not faced any problem while using PC my phrase compromised 3 times
This doesn't mean a mobile is more secure than a PC. This only means that your PC had been infected with a malware and you have been lucky that your mobile hasn't been hacked yet.
1198  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hacker moved coins from my wallet on: April 30, 2023, 01:06:17 PM
Sorry to hear about your loss. A few weeks ago the same thing happened to Julerz now happened to you. Can't imagine what is going on with Electrum.
Whatever happened, there is no problem with electrum itself. Electrum (if it's used properly) is secure enough. julerz12 used electrum on an online device and Avirunes probably did the same thing.
Any online device is always prone to hacking.
1199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The total limit of bitcoin on: April 30, 2023, 08:49:41 AM
The limit of 21 Million is set in the code which can only be changed with a hard fork, which would require agreement of the community.
It may worth mentioning that there is no "21 millions" in bitcoin code.
The total supply of approximately 21 millions (exactly 20,999,999.9769 BTC) comes from the initial block reward of 50 BTC and halving each 210,000 block.
1200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Guys pls help with these TF.. why are they stuck?? Frustrated... on: April 29, 2023, 10:04:18 PM
Fees are super high today. I've sent a tx with ~10sat/byte fee but had to bump it to ~80sat/byte eventually (about $10 for my amount/tx) absolutely highest fee I paid EVER!
You didn't have to pay such a big fee. You could get fast confirmation with lower fee rate.
In the past 24 hours, any transaction paying at least 40 sat/vbyte has been confirmed in the first block after being broadcasted.

By the way, as mentioned above by DaveF, OP's transactions have been already confirmed.
