  IT is common knowledge that Nigerian roads are generally either in a state of disrepair, poorly maintained or altogether untarred. With Nigeria boasting of the largest road network in Africa, it is not surprising that only about 60,000km out of its estimated 195,000km or road network is paved. Majority of the nation’s road network was constructed between the 80s and 90s, with a larger portion of them currently deteriorated because of poor maintenance. Even when the existing roads are constructed or supposedly maintained, it soon falls into disrepair due to the use of low-quality materials. Despite huge budgetary allocations been committed annually to infrastructural development projects, much yet remains to be seen on how the condition of the roads justifies their fiscal allocation. The Nigerian road network is majorly classified into three. First is Trunk Road “A” which encompasses the framework of the national road grid and cuts across regional boundaries. The Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, is responsible for financing, constructing, and maintaining this class of roads. Second is the Trunk Road “B” which connects the major cities within states. They are financed, constructed, and maintained by the state governments. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says visibly underage persons who attempt to vote during the 2023 elections will be arrested. Festus Okoye, INEC national commissioner for information and voter education, said this on Monday during an interview on ‘The Morning Show’, a programme by Arise Television. Okoye said in an effort to address issues around underage registration, INEC has summoned all its officers in areas where underage registrations were recorded.

Now no be say fuel no dey but who when sell at a cheap price now when they fit sell later at a higher price. what happened? I missed the Chelsea vs Nottingham game and now I feel quite surprised at the score 1-1. Nottingham really made a surprise in this match. and I was more surprised by Chelsea who didn't seem able to do much to put pressure on Nottingham Forest. because even though Chelsea has 73% possession of the ball, Nottingham has more Shots on Target than Chelsea. I think Graham potter should think harder to provide a better strategy for Chelsea in the next game. because in the next match Chelsea will face a tougher opponent, namely Manchester City.
You shouldn't be surprised, this is how Chelsea plays without Reece James. We can only win games comfortably when Reece James is playing as he bring stability into the team. Chelsea season ended the moment Reece James sustain his recent injury as that'll keep him out for 1 month and by then we must have lost the hope of finishing top 4 talk more of having a trophy this season. Chelsea should have sealed the game in the first half but couldn't play football. We were even lucky to draw this game as Nottingham forest were dominate in the second half and play with determination to win the game. As we play more game I start to question Graham Potter reasonings, why bench Aubameyang and steadily killing his confidence. You can't buy a striker and bench him constantly then expect him to turn up for you with just few minutes left to play. It's disrespectful and at the same time killing the team. From the stats I saw online, Canada has been given a higher probability for winning the match against Nigeria. I believe either Manchester City, Liverpool or Napoli will win this season because they're very hungry to get this trophy.
Manchester city and Liverpool are definitely potential winners of the tournament because their side are playing very good football and have the squad to win other strong contenders in the tournament but what's Napoli doing in that statement. They have no chance of winning the champions league even with Osimhen been on the form. I'm even suspecting him leaving the club this January as he has many interest all over Europe and he better take his chances now and go to a more profile club. Fans will be counting on Messi to bring same spirit from the world cup to the champions league and help PSG win the champions League. Was Messi the best player at the world cup? He wasn't, he just scored cheap penalties and was favored all through the world cup just because the officials wanted him to win and it was obvious. I don't think they'll favor him in the champions league. PSG aren't winning the champions league until they let go of signing superstar and focus on signing players that still have alot to prove and put all on the line on the field. |

I'm always in search of new reasoning that newbies can bring into a discussion as it seems the old members here have no new contributions as whatever they have to say have been heard before but sadly you don't see much of that from the newbies instead what we see are those just here to engage in generic discussion, get their post count up then hope on giveaway threads to get some merits to rank up. I must say, the newbies we have today aren't as productive as we did few years back when the merit system was newly introduced. Then you could see captivating discussion getting started weekly and this will attract you to engage with such thread but now, hardly before you see a productive thread get started, all we mostly have now are just below average. Kudos to those putting in effort though and you can see this with the amount of merits they're packing up. That been said, newbies should note that there's enough merits now that if you put time into your writing you'll get appreciated so I see no reason for you to be discouraged. You came at the easier time take advantage of it.. |

Firstly I'll like to encourage the management of the forum to keep up their good work, they have done so well in the past and I have no doubt that the future will bring about more productive features implemented on the forum. A change I'll love to see in 2023 is the creation of more local boards on the forum. Everyone should have an opportunity to connect with their people on their own board and be able to discuss issues surrounding Bitcoin in their locality.
Secondly, more decentralization of source merits. While I must acknowledge all merit sources for the good they're doing in encouraging quality poster, I'll love if theymos consider topping up active merit sources that have little to share around even though it requires reducing that of those that have thousands to send around monthly and increasing the supply of those at the end of the chain. Personally I have drop requests (through DM) multiple times but the answer has always been 'there's no plans to increase the supply of merit' so instead some redistribution can do the trick. The Liverpool - Real Madrid matchup is also like an early finale just as the PSG - Bayern Munich one.
Something tells me the finals might come from this two matches as the teams that wins will advance to the final unless they face each other before the final game. The four clubs playing are worthy champions so far in this season as they have all performed brilliantly. Sadly two has to be knocked out. My prediction are both Real Madrid and PSG get knocked out. Bayern Munich and Liverpool progress to the next stage. I don't think Real Madrid can go very far this season. Sure they're strong contenders but aren't capable of winning champions league back to back especially as they don't have prime Ronaldo leading their front line. PSG will also not progress to the final, sure they have the likes of Neymar and Mbappe in form with Messi full of energy after just winning the world cup but I think Manchester city has the title this season that's if Liverpool and Bayern Munich doesn't meet at the final. Manchester city wins this season and it will push Haaland closer to his first Ballon d'or. |

Everton has surprised me in this game and it's a good thing they didn't lose because that would had been bad for Frank lampard. A draw against Manchester city will be very positive towards him keeping his job as the coach of Everton. Maybe they can build on this draw and probably win the upcoming games. Out of the last five games they have lost three and now draw two while sitting on the 16th position on the table. Frank lampard needs a win as soon as possible or we'll start hearing shout of his sack. Judging from the quality of the domestic leagues of the two teams, not underestimating my Bundesliga then I totally agree that Chelsea is probably better prepared than Borussia Dortmund. Yes, sometimes we cannot deny that the competitive differences of a league will affect teams participating in bigger competitions like the Champions League like this. Paris Saint Germain is the picture I will give when talking about this, what is Paris Saint Germain lacking? they have everything, even they are inhabited by star players, but in the Champions League they can't do more to compete with other teams. No doubt the domestic leagues each teams play in does has some sort of role in who is well prepared for the competition that lays ahead. The premier league is very competitive but yet they're not the most dominant force when it come to the champions league, the la Liga side is, as Real Madrid combined with other la Liga teams like Barcelona has more title than all premier league teams combined and also when ever they do meet at finals, the la Liga teams always have the advantages. This means you shoudn't underate Dortmund just because they're coming from a lesser league. This is the champions league and the atmosphere here is totally different. Chelsea hasn't been very brilliant for we to think that this is going to be a work over match for them. If they want to progress they have to show very strong determination as I believe the game against Dortmund won't be an easy one but I still wish Chelsea all the success they'll need. |

Many people were so sure that he was never going to sign to go to Saudi because of his desire to play in Champions league and in the bigger leagues, Ronaldo has taken the money (enough to tempt any player) and with that his retirement is sure.
Ronaldo will be highly respected in Saudi Arabia, and moving to that new club will give him enough time to play, maybe to regain his lost form.
What does he still have to prove in Europe, he has achieved it all and now it's time to retire. When it comes to the champions league, he'll always be the greatest to even play it. Ronaldo going to Al Nassr doesn't totally have to do with the money. He needs a club that respect him and give him enough playing time. The guys loves to play the game and that he'll do at Al Nassr. Atleast now he'll have piece of mind and be free from the European media that feeds on him daily. When Messi talk bad against Barcelona in the past via granting an interview, he was praised by the media for exposing the club wrong doings but when Ronaldo does the same, the media comes for him. I don't think it's advisable suggesting centralization stablecoin projects to newbies reading this. Among all the stable coins you mention, DAI should be the only go to stablecoin for storing of your profits while the rest can be used for trading since they have more available liquidly as they're been adopted more on exchanges. Before entrusting your funds to ang project for safe keeping do understand how that stable coins works. Many investors didn't understand how UST worked (algorithmic stablecoin) but just patronized it because it was popular and a coin from famous Terra Luna camp. Also do note that just because a project claims to be decentralized doesn't guarantee them been a good project and safe from collapsing.
