1901  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: August 18, 2017, 04:01:01 AM
If you had to convert all your wealth to either Bitcoin or gold and keep it there for 10 years, which would you choose? Keep in mind the fact that Bitcoin has only been around for 5 years, and could be fundamentally different in any number of ways in 10 years.
I'll convert my wealth to gold for long time purposes. Since gold is being used for transactions through many years by different countries through different eras. It also has stable market price compared to Bitcoin that almost time to time, price is increasing and decreasing.Gold has also physical value and Bitcoin doesn't.
1902  Economy / Speculation / Re: How MUCH will the FINAL BTC be WORTH? on: August 18, 2017, 02:06:12 AM
Asked before I'm sure.

What ya think?
No one knows since the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency depends on its market demand. If the demand is continuous, the rise of Bitcoin's value will also be continuous. As long as bitcoin is demanded by people, its price won't stop rising. And if Bitcoin wi last for 20 or more years? that would definitely make Bitcoin's price insanely high, based on the demand that it has right now.
1903  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it wise to invest 1k into Bitcoin at this point? on: August 18, 2017, 01:40:23 AM
What is your input?
Yes, because at this moment, and as we are seeing right now, Bitcoin is on fire. Continuous increase on it market value is happening. If you'll invest now and buy Bitcoin, you'll just hold it and see how high will bitcoin increase. It will be a good decision to invest at this point where Bitcoin is more in demand as it was before.
1904  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: August 17, 2017, 11:05:55 PM
What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?
Ofcourse it will surely affect Bitcoin, negatively. But I highly doubt that the negative effect would last for a long period of time. If the dump takes place, investors and miners won't surely allow it to happen for a long period of time. And for sure, most of the people here in Bitcoin community won't do the same, because there are more holders than sellers.
1905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: August 17, 2017, 03:37:09 PM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
People picked Bitcoin over fiat because it is decentralized unlike in regular currency. Regular currencies sometimes requires credit card along with third parties such as banks in order for you to save and use you money. In Bitcoin you can use it as you want including negative ways, because it is decentralized. It has also less charges compared to fiat in transactions and tradings.
1906  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin prices rise high on: August 17, 2017, 02:52:28 PM
Many people are now curious to know what bitcoin is, whereas once bitcoin was just underestimated, now upside down many people stop working instead they prefer to focus on bitcoin

Is this the impact of rising bitcoin prices?

Yes, it surely is. Bitcoin's value increased and went skyrocket after the fork which made its demand higher and its value bigger. More people are now interested to Bitcoin unlike the past years, now that its price is way far from how much it was before. Some people left their jobs because they fins Bitxoin more profitable. We are hoping and expecting from Butcoin until the end of this year.
1907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2017, 01:02:59 PM
What makes people compel to hold the bitcoin in this critical situation? What are they waiting for? Any good reason?
People are looking and expecting for bigger income or return of investments that made them hold their Bitcoins through the dumps and risks. They still know that after dumps, are pumps. It happens often. Those who are panic selling misses the oppurtunity that Bitcoin can give if they hold their Bitcoins during the deflations.
1908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins and making money on: August 17, 2017, 01:35:13 AM
Ok if i buy 100 dollars on bitcoin and in the next days the bitcoin price goes way way down, will i lose my bitcoin can i just leave the bitcoin there for a year and wait till it gets the highest price and sell it?

do you ever lose your bitcoin if they go to low or you can just leave them there forever till they go high o  price?
Once you purchase Bitcoin from other users, the only thing you'll do is to wait until its price increase, nothing more. Since you bought Bitcoin, you'll need patience and disregard whether the price is decreasing because eventually, it will increase again. That's Bitcoin Volatility. You won't loose your Bitcoin if the deflation is continuous, it is just that its price will decrease. But no need to worry, as I've said, it will again, increase.
1909  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: August 16, 2017, 10:49:26 PM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.
When it is legal to most countries or to a certain country for sure, retailers will accept it. And also if it will be damanded by most of their customers. It is now close to possibility that more retailers will accept Bitcoin as a currency. Now that it is being demanded by lots of people and now that it is more popular than it was before.
1910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why owning 1 BTC becomes harder everyday??? on: August 16, 2017, 10:10:40 PM
Wow, bitcoin price is increasing everyday at lightening speed!

Are you not afraid someday 1 bitcoin will become currency for the rich dudes?

I know we all want to buy and save more bitcoins in pieces, but the way bitcoin price is going are we really going to keep up?

Edit: I'm talking about owning BTC1 or BTC2... I know people can buy satoshis and save in their wallets.

What do you think, guys?
Bitcoin earning became hard because its price is continuously increasing ang getting more expensive. More people, especially thos who have Bitcoin won't sell it easily at this moment. They are holding their Bitcoin for its price to continue growing. Bitcoin won't be only for rich people. There are lots of ways to earn Bitcoin without buying it or investing from it such as Bounty and signature campaigns.

1912  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 03, 2017, 04:29:59 PM
Regularly small amount of bitcoin is saved and the rest will be used for fun. Most of the time gambling is the one in which bitcoin is spend to have fun. Future need of bitcoin is to profit much from it and make a good earning for a better living. I believe bitcoin saving will make ones life to the next level with its strength.
Actually i saveit for my future. But when my friends invite me to join them to hang out with them. I actually cash it out to haveextra money for my expenses. But not all of my btc. I also still stock a little bit of btc to ensure that i have something to get when im in need.
1913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: July 29, 2017, 10:05:03 PM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin

I actually heard bitcoin first in my classmate. Since he was my buddy and bestfriend he told me about earning money in btc and business world. He told me about free btc's and investing, and also earning by joiningin  campaign. But firsthe told me what bitcoin is. And how to access it .
I asked him if it is illegal andhe told me not. So i tried to.

1915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: July 29, 2017, 07:07:11 PM
For long term storage, please use offline paper wallet or hardware wallets. Paper wallet must be carefully generated though.

For daily/ frequent use, you can consider one of the mobile wallet- after all you do not bring your computer with you everywhere. Try breadwallet.

I eagree that in online you need a regular security and visits but in a offline wallets you can access it not regularly just secure always your password and address to avoid it from hacking.
1916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So much bad news. When will it end ? on: July 29, 2017, 06:51:06 PM
The point is bitcoin is successful, and still decentralised, which means it is ALWAYS available for someone to try and take it over since NO ONE is effectively in charge of it. Think about that and the fact it has a 40 billion dollar economy behind it now. Basically the answer to your question about when it will end is NEVER.

I think if theres abad news there is also a goodnews and for me that is about the success of segwit that is the wayto btchavea big value like never before. And about splitting of btc. I heard it is cancelled for now. So it is good news for us to hear that news.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: July 29, 2017, 03:29:40 AM
For me. You need to secure all your password especually in your wallet. If youre using web wallet you should keep you private keys to prevent it from hackers. You should regularly change your passwords with strong password. You should not use your personal information as a password. Hackers can easily access that.
1918  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Afraid of August One? on: July 25, 2017, 04:28:53 PM
We are already in July and August 1 is coming...the day when Segwit would start signalling for all and what will happen after this date is something many fear of. Will there be a split and what will happen on the split?

I have already read some assurance that at the current rate things are doing, the possibility for a split is getting remote. Maybe the overarching interest of all stakeholders has already dawned to many.

I agree. Someone told me that segwit is already successful. And i believe in him becuase the value of btc right now is rising and i wish it will continue to rise up.
I heard some topics about splitting of btc that it will be cancelled but i dont think if it is true. But im afraid in that day.
1919  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: July 25, 2017, 03:33:30 PM
For me its true because as you can see right now, bitcoin is popular especially in economy because they say that bitcoin is our new currency actually a digital currency. So it is possible to happen. Since it is also the way of earning and also a way of buying something but in the less hassle way. Because through internet you can access it also.
1920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on? Bitcoin for the rich only? on: July 25, 2017, 02:19:44 PM
I dont think so. Because this is not only for the rich who can invest and earn. This is also the way for the othersto eran by simply joining in a particular signature campaign of some investors so that they both earn with the help of each other. But it will only happen if the signature campign succeed. Thats what i think. Its just an opinion.
