1921  Economy / Economics / Re: usa dollar future on: October 31, 2020, 10:10:08 AM
Nothing complex with the future of USD. Atleast for 100 years USD is on the safer side. After years of growth it has took this position defeating other currencies that are in the lead in the past. With the pandemic USA has suffered big, and that's been connected with the decline of the USD value. This will soon gets recovered, as there are more countries suffering negative economy by now.
1922  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: October 31, 2020, 09:34:56 AM
Going cashless these days is a common thing, because people are getting used to card transactions and other forms of digital payments through mobile. When you don't have cash in hand there is more chances of spending on unnecessary things. Even the small shops have started to provide QR code for payment. Through digital payments corruption is made easier. Whatever might be the pros and cons, if it is used for the bad it affects the reputation and same is when used for good.
1923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't money and that isn't bad! on: October 31, 2020, 07:20:53 AM
just because you can't understand something or can use it that doesn't mean bitcoin can not be used as money or instead of fiat. over the years bitcoin usage as payment has been increasing. there are currently multiple countries that have accepted it as a legal way of payment. now you can play with words all you want (currency, store of value, money, payment system,...) in the end bitcoin can be used as money.

in any case cheeky link spam advertising your website using a controversial subject!
Even the traditional currency doesn't have these many access as bitcoin. Currency has been used as a paper carrying value. Bitcoin has been used as value store, as an investment asset similar to stocks and forex. Bitcoin as a means of payment has ease large scale transactions with much reduced fee. In other terms such a volume of transactions can't be handled by banks. No doubt, bitcoin is money and rest is upto the user.
1924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple the next bitcoin? on: October 30, 2020, 11:54:23 PM
Ripple to be the next bitcoin isn't gonna happen. Ripple once took the second position of ethereum. It was mentioned to be a manipulation to reach the top position, but the growth was quite a phenomenal one. As it partners with more and more number of private banks and financial service renders it is given an outlook of completely centralized one.

According to me, it have been partnering and getting into real-time usage which is must for growth. So with trust one can invest on ripple and it isn't the next bitcoin. Ripple will be always ripple.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: During Bitcoin Block Halving Cryptocurrency Prices are expected to be.. on: October 30, 2020, 11:33:53 PM
More new players are into the market. The market situation at present isn't same as the year 2017 in terms of adoption, usage and large scale companies participation. The development and the existence of new forms of financial freedom too is marking its presence strong in the market. As an user mentioned we can't expect the past happenings to take place in the future.
1926  Economy / Speculation / Re: how many Bitcoin do you need to live comfy in event of hyperinflation? on: October 30, 2020, 11:11:25 PM
Okay I am 63. Lets pretend I live 30 years at my current standards.

I need about 2 million usd. pretending zero inflation.

so 150:coins should do it.
That looks to be a much sophisticated living. Possibly you're from first world country. With third world country a man ends his life peacefully without facing any financial difficulties if ha had such an amount. As per my living standard I need about 1-2 bitcoin per year with the present market value.
1927  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to live without banks? on: October 30, 2020, 10:31:05 PM
Banks have created an financial infrastructure, and people are used to it. Also with the physical availability of banks throughout, it is accessible and used by all levels of people. Even the people who haven't studied make use of banking services. Living without banks is possible, but that doesn't mean people are into bitcoin. I've seen people saving and holding each pennies in their own hands.
1928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not needed but only for investment purposes on: October 30, 2020, 10:11:42 PM
Different people have difference of usage with bitcoin. Majority give importance to bitcoin as a form of investment.

Everytime there arises controversy whether bitcoin is an investment asset or alternate to traditional fiat.

As of now it is  multiple usage asset that evolved from a state of payment gateway. People who haven't used it for other needs than investing will tend to consider it an investment asset and not required for other needs.

1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why didn't PayPal decided to use xrp than Bitcoin? on: October 22, 2020, 04:32:07 PM
What we see with PayPal getting into bitcoin buying is just the beginning of centralized service platform into cryptocurrency related business. Further we can expect the addition of more and more number of cryptocurrencies. XRP being centralized and has partnered with different bank network, there is more possible chances of XRP partnering with PayPal.
1931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you determine if an altcoin is worth investing in? on: October 22, 2020, 12:53:03 PM
We can't predict the reality of the altcoin market. In anytime the coin could grow high as well as fall low in value. It is always good to invest on altcoins that have got a minimum viable product backing. Altcoins backed by large networks that are already well established in the global market. For example BTT which was the product of torrent have already known and the early investors gained good return within weeks.
1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: which ia the best coin for holding 2021? on: October 22, 2020, 11:42:36 AM
For risk free holding the right choice is bitcoin. Right now the bitcoin value keeps pumping high crossing $13000 which is a good sign of growth. The price didn't reach this level in a short time period, it has grown slowly with a better phase. Apart from this more number of DEFI projects were striking the market. If you're lucky you'll get good return investing on any of those projects in a very short time period.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrencies have the lowest transaction fees? on: October 22, 2020, 11:04:27 AM
One of the most significant concerns people have about a trading platform and exchanging cryptocurrencies involves the transaction fees. Many crypto options have high charges, while others aren’t as dramatic. You’d have to look around to find the lowest transaction fees on the market if you want to find something worthwhile.

Cryptocurrencies come in many forms, and they all have unique features. But you should be aware of how you’re going to find a good fee or charge that works. Knowing what works is essential for your success.

https://swapzone.io/learn/lowest-transaction-fees/

try to send money from your bank account to someone in another country
you will pay at least $ 20-50 for banking services
therefore, compared to such an amount
the commissions in cryptocurrency are very small
Yes, that's true. Transaction in terms of bitcoin will charge you around $5-$7 which is quite low compared to the cross border transaction through Bank. Further when we change the bitcoin to cash it'll be charged little. This way even the transaction through bitcoin is profiting compared to banking. If we do transaction within cryptocurrency then TRC10 is profiting.
1934  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we back to the bull market? on: October 22, 2020, 09:59:25 AM
A few moments ago, BTC crossed 12k$. Many analysts said, if we cross 12k$ we will be back to the bull market. What do you think? Is it a fake out or we are back to the bull market?
i think btc growing up from now. i am not expert but anything can happen in next one month. american election coming & thats why price will be effected. it will be dumped. so many confusion are ahead, but i wants to back 2017 bull run.
Maybe the market is prepared for a bull trend with accordance to the US election scheduled for the falling month. The growth we've been experiencing right now can get carried forward or else can drop based on the election outcome. What we experience right now is just a trend cause and not the pure bull market.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It is not easy to make money in cryptocurrency on: October 21, 2020, 12:13:40 PM
Some has been lucky to make money out of cryptocurrencies, but following them if we try the same we'll not get the same. We need to know the market situation and make the investment or else we need to have the patience to make money holding for a longer time period.

One of my friend without any knowledge about cryptocurrencies randomly picked a coin from coinmarketcap and bought for about $500. Within few weeks time he got a profit of more than $14000, which is pure luck. Later when I saw the same after few months of time, the coin is being delisted.

General community forums, big or small <--- This one here is dead as search engines are not showing any results or people don't talk about them anymore ...
Just because it isn't visible on Google or any other search engine it doesn't mean Bitcointalk is not good for promotion. If your services has got bitcoin acceptance and you prefer promoting your services, then for sure Bitcointalk is the right place and it brings more traffic to your services.

The reason why it isn't visible on Google and on other search engines, no specific team is allocated to do SEO operation for Bitcointalk.
1937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We don't do it in Bitcoin! on: October 21, 2020, 09:47:57 AM
I've come across several such news in the past. This is just common in Asian countries. Most of the time gold is being smuggled into the country from North East Asian country Dubai. Different ways are being followed to smuggle gold. This doesn't have anything to be related to bitcoin. This is quite risky for health and it's a old style of smuggling.
1938  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: October 21, 2020, 08:36:56 AM
The gradual growth of bitcoin is happening at the moment. Whenever there is growth in price of bitcoin automatically there arises discussion of price reaching big values. The market movement of bitcoin mostly attributes with the news getting circulated with bitcoin.

When there is positive news the market moves forward and drops low when there is something like hacks and large volume scam exposed. With all this based on the widening of the market will be the price and we can't judge on $100k now itself.
1939  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What asset would you HODL for the next 5 years?? on: October 21, 2020, 04:53:14 AM
Five years of time is long term and cryptocurrency market changes happen in a very short time period. As mentioned by the users bitcoin always leads and will be on the rising side. No need to worry about it, when it comes to rest of the altcoins it is good to go with the altcoins that've got good use case which is the one that contribute to circulation and growth in the market.
