Is it worth to auto convert from Monero to ETC and withdraw. How pool calculates conversion fees?
They generaly have low fees. I haven't ever done any conversion or withdrawal with either of these two coins (I guess you're an AMD user and I'm an Nvidia user  ), but I've checked the conversation history of other coins and the fee seems to be close to 0%. In either case, I'd do as few converstions as possible, since they auto-trade your coins it would be possible to trade during a momentary spike that'd make you lose more than just paying XMR's withdraw fees. |

Έχω την EVGA 1070 FTW, αγορασμένη 20/7/2016 και με εγγύηση έως 20/7/2019. Είχε αγοραστεί από Γερμανία ( https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/?gcc=gr) αλλά το support γίνεται απευθείας από EVGA. Θέλω να τη δώσω στα 450€ 420€ 400€. πάντως προσωπικά με το bitstamp όποτε το έχω χρησιμοποιήσει κυρίως για αγορές και πώληση bitcoin ποτέ δεν είχα πρόβλημα. Το χρησιμοποιώ αρκετά αν θέλω να μεταφέρω bitcoin από ανταλλακτήρια που κάνω trading alt-bitcoin σε δικό μου wallet επειδή έχει τα χαμηλότερα fee από το bittrex και kraken.
Δλδ μετατρέπω τα alt μου σε bitcoin μετά σε litecoin και από εκεί μεταφορά στο bitstamp για αγορά bitcoin και μεταφορά σε δικό μου wallet. Βγαίνει πολύ ποιο φτηνή αυτή η διαδικασία από το να πληρώσω τα εξωφρενικά fee στο bitcoin του bittrex η του kraken.
Ναι και εγώ είχα προσέξει πως έχει λίγο πιο χαμηλά fees από το KRAKEN, ή ίσως το margin να ήταν πιο "στενό". Αυτός ήταν και ένας λόγος που προσπάθησα να κάνω account, και ο 2ος επειδή διάβασα κάτι για μια υπηρεσία credit card το οποίο ήθελα να δοκιμάσω. Αλλά αν δεν έχουν καλό support φοβάμαι να τους χρησιμοποιήσω και προτιμώ το KRAKEN όταν θέλω να χρησιμοποιήσω fiat χρήματα και BITTREX/Cryptopia/CryptoBridge όταν θέλω από crypto σε crypto. Πάντως το μέλλον πιστεύω είναι τα decentralized exchanges, ειδικά αν αρχίσουν τα κράτη να πειραματίζονται με φορολογίες και περιορισμούς θα είναι μονόδρομος τα decentralized καθώς όποιος θα θέλει να τα ελέγξει/κλείσει θα έχει όση επιτυχία έχει και ο έλεγχος των torrents! By the way είπα να δω αν έχω γίνει verify στο Bitstamp... VERIFY ACCOUNT STATUS: PENDING Από 7/12 βλέπω έχω κάνει register!! Και περίμενα υπομονετικά 1 μήνα και μετά τους ρώτησα αν υπήρχε κάποιο πρόβλημα με τα χαρτιά μου... η απάντησή τους μετά από 1 εβδομάδα ήταν πως έχουν μεγάλη κίνηση νέων εγγραφών και να περιμένω.  Αγαπητέ chek2fire εύχομαι ειλικρινά να μη γίνει καμιά στραβή και πρέπει να χρησιμοποιήσεις το support τους, φοβάμαι την ταλαιπωρία που θα φας. |

I can't help but wonder... why does the transition have to be scheduled 2 months in the future? If you've tested what you're about to implement, wouldn't just 1-2 weeks be enough?
Or are you aiming for a specific amount of supply before you change into POS? I'm a bit curious about that part of your decision.

I am against ASICs, but to be truth - what the difference on what machine you mine coin - on GPU farm or on special ASIC. The result is the same - blockchain updates, coin live and new coins are produced. And nowadays the new coins react to difficulty fast, so no hyperinflation, jus some are more profitable others not. If you buy and sell coins its the same on what they are mined. If you unhappy that you GPU not good enough - buy ASIC. Bitcoin, X11 coins are mined by ASICs mainly and live well. Not this is the essence of coin life.
There is no difference, except that ASIC can mine coins faster with less energy. The problem is that, they sell immediately their coins to buy Bitcoin or maybe other coins. That's why ETN price is stuck compare to other coins. I don't see why ASIC miners would sell immediately to buy BTC, I'm an Nvidia GPU miner and I sell X17 coins immediately to buy ARK and ETN. Maybe in ETN's case though, since whoever bought those ASICs must have realised they wasted their money, I believe they'll dumb in order to at least brake even. @xenomorphe1 Also what's different between ASIC and GPU mining, is that ASIC mining is more centralized. A lot of money is going to the one/two manufacturers who produce them and to the few who are greedy and willing to risk an investement into ASIC farms. We can't keep increasing the hashrates like that... what's gonna happen in 2 years? Will the 10% of the earth's electricity beeing wasted on mining when the results would be the same if everyone was using CPUs? Ofcourse CPUs are not the best solution since then it'd be easier for a 51% attack, but ASICs are just overkill. GPUs seems to be somewhere in between and people accept them easier. |

I have a small rig on the side running with 2 1070, I'm building a new 1080ti rig.
But can i add one 1080ti to rig with 1070 it will work fine together?
Should I mine the same thing with al three or can I arrange 1080 for the others too without much headache?
If it's possible, yes (the others have already answered you on that) If you should mine the same algo or different for the 1070s and the 1080ti, that depends on what you mine. If you mine a specific coin and hold it, then maybe you should mine with all cards but it depends on the algo. If you mine whatever coin is more profitable and swap it, then these 2 cards don't excel on the same algos and you might want to setup two instances of NemosMiner or a similar software. For example a 1070 is "mh... okay" for ETH but the 1080ti is terrible. On the X17 they're pretty equal and I believe the 1080ti performs better on X16r. It's not hard to set every card on a different miner and algo, it depends on your knowledge and your nerves! |

Why did you (and many others like you, it seems) quote the entire first post? Your question makes no sense, otherwise - why did you give your friend merit only once? Uh, probably because you only gave it once...  It is difficult to decipher but I'm going with his question makes no sense because he may have quoted the whole OP but he didn't bother reading it. He probably gave his alt friend the one and only sMerit he got in the initial distribution and doesn't know he isn't getting any more. I think I understood what he means... which makes me worry about myself lol Maybe he wanted to send more than 1 merit to his friend but for some reason he could only send 1. Looking at his profile he seems to have sent only 1 merit. I was not a Member rank when this system striked us like he is and I was not given free Merits, therefore I'm not sure how many sMerits he'd have. It is important to understand that ETN is a real company so it will behave differently from most of the coins we have seen in past.
Hence, every issue will be communicated in a very different way.
My interpretation of the ASIC issue, is that they are working on a fix but their new developers are still ramping up. Development takes time and there development/testing timeline will take longer at the moment. The point being is they know when the fix will be ready to launch but this is longer than most be people will desire. For example, a company may look bad if it announces that a fix is being worked on and it will be implemented in 4 weeks. So what they tend to do is wait 2 weeks to announce that a fix is coming in 2 weeks. Different ratios can be applied dependent of issue size, complexity and impact.
It has to be said that ETN's communication strategy and execution is inconsistent across bitcointalk, Reddit and Facebook. However, based on the age and size of the company this sort of behaviour is not unexpected as they want to prove them selves. They also have to balance good news, bad news and transparency to give the right impression.
It is quite clear, and understandably based on the comments on this channel, that ETN will not directly engage in small talk. Once ETN grows I am sure the current/new community manager will get more involved but they have enough on their plate at the moment.
ETN has just started it's journey so appreciate the steep learning curve they are climbing as a real company!
This post covers most of the points I was about to write, except one more thing which I'd like to add. I see a lot of people are saying that "shitcoin A" and "shitcoin B" have made the fork, yet how many of these other coins are different from Monero? If I was to copy-paste a coin's code in order to premine, pump and dumb I wouldn't think twice before copying any new code added to the copied coin. But I feel ETN team is different. They're not making a Monero clone, they're making their own coin which only started from the same base as Monero. I can't know for sure but if they've made big changes to their code, maybe just copying the anti-ASIC change from Monero code will not work as-is. It's logical that they want to run tests first. In the mean time, we can enjoy cheap ETN buying! |

No need to revote, the 100% of your wallet counts toward your vote. The delegate should "scan" the wallets of his voters and pay you the corresponding amount of ARK automatically. |

Provide more info please. Do you mean the "Exchange Wallet" inside MPH's (Mining Pool Hub) site? Or do you mean you withdrew coins from MPH to an exchange and it has not reached it yet? If it's the second case, then the problem is always with the received since you can see the transaction in the blockchain explorer. Maybe you tried to withdraw to Cryptopia? They're know to have high delays but you won't lose the coins. |

Μην ασχολείσαι με Bitstamp. Εγώ περίμενα 3 μήνες και μετά έπαψα να το κοιτάω, είμαι σίγουρος πως τώρα, 5 μηνές μετά, δεν θα με έχουν κάνει ακόμα verify! Μάλιστα στα ticket που άνοιξα να ρωτήσω για το status μου απαντούσαν μετά από 3-4 εβδομάδες. Δηλαδή που να πάει κάτι στραβά και να πρέπει να σου αποδεσμεύσουν χρήματα που βγιάζεσαι! Να σου πω ποια έχω δοκιμάσει εγώ και τα σχόλιά μου, αν σας βοηθήσει μπορείτε να με ευχαριστήσετε με ένα μεριτ! KRAKEN = Το πιο γρήγορο support, μου έχουν απαντήσει σε 30 λεπτά Σαββάτο απόγευμα. Συμαντικό το ότι δέχονται και καταθέσεις σε EUR/USD μέσω τράπεζας. Σε περίπτωση που κάνεις κατάθεση μέχρι το μεσημέρι, εμφανίζονται στον λογαριασμό σου την επόμενη εργάσιμη στις 12:00-14:00 ώρα Ελλάδος. Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι πως έχει λίγα μόνο coins. Cryptopia = Πολλά νομίσματα, όταν είχα κάνει register νομίζω δεν ήθελαν upload ταυτότητες κτλ (αλλά μπορεί και να μη θυμάμαι καλά). Μπορείς να κάνεις ανταλλαγή και μέσω USDT, LTC και DOGE αλλά το liquidity είναι αρκετά χαμηλό στα περισσότερα νομίσματα. Το support είναι ανύπαρκτο και συχνά βγάζουν νομίσματα σε maintenance mode, που σημαίνει πως μέχρι να φτιάξουν κάποιο πρόβλημα δεν μπορείς να κάνεις deposit/withdraw το συγκεκριμένο coin, μόνο το trade λειτουργεί. BITTREX = Μεγάλο liquidity, σταθερό exchange. Δεν έχω χρειαστεί το support τους ποτέ και δεν έχω γενικότερα κάτι κακό να πω. Είναι παλιό και μεγάλο exchange, θα έλεγα πως είναι αρκετά ασφαλές να τους χρησιμοποιήσεις. HitBTC = Σκέτη απάτη, μείνε μακριά. Στρογγυλοποιούν τα πάντα υπερ τους και σε μεγάλο βαθμό... έχουν μέχρι 2 ή 3 δεκαδικούς αριθμούς που είναι γελίο. Bitfinex = Αν δεν κινείς χιλιάδες ευρώ κάθε ημέρα, μάλλον δεν είναι για εσένα. Χρεώνουν υψηλά fees για Deposits που είναι κάτω από 1000$ (!!!) και για κάθε withdraw υπάρχουν επίσης υψηλότερα fees σε σχέση με τον ανταγωνισμό. ΠΧ: BTC Deposit & Withdraw Fee: 0.0004, ETH Fee: 0.0027. SouthXchange = Δεν έχω ιδιαίτερη εμπειρία, μια φορά το χρησημοποίησα μόνο πολύ παλιά. Δεν χρειάστηκε να κάνω Verify, έκανα register-deposit-exchange-withdraw μέσα σε 1 ώρα χωρίς πρόβλημα. Crypto-Bridge = Καινούργιο αλλά με ανοδική πορεία. Είναι Decentralized Exchange, δηλαδή δεν υπάρχει μια οντότητα που το ελέγχει αλλά οι σερβερ τρέχουν από άτομα που κερδίζουν μέρος των fees. Απλά είναι λίγο δύσκολο στη χρήση, πρόσεξε ότι κωδικό σου δώσει να τον σημειώσεις γιατί αν χάσεις κάτι συμαντικό δεν μπορούν να σου επαναφέρουν το account. Φυσικά δεν υπάρχει verification εδώ. Α και μια ιδιετερότητα που έχει... τα fees νομίζω είναι γενικά χαμηλά αλλά για κάθε κίνηση που κάνεις στο σύστημα υπάρχει μια απειροελάχιστη χρέωση καθώς το όλο exchange είναι πάνω σε blockchain από όσο έχω καταλάβει. Είτε αλλάξεις κωδικό, είτε βάλεις εντολή συναλλαγής σε χρεώνουν, αλλά μπορεί να είναι και λιγότερο από 0,01€, ανάλογα τι κάνεις. Απλά δεν συμφέρει να σπαμάρεις εντολές αγοράς/πώλησης και να τις ακυρώνεις. UPDATE: Eπίσης ξέχασα να αναφέρω την εμπειρία μου με το support του Crypto-Bridge. Μέσω του Discord μίλησα άμεσα με 2 άτομα (από το community support team νομίζω) οι οποίοι με καθοδήγησαν και καταφέραμε να λύσουμε το πρόβλημα που μάλιστα ήταν ιδιαίτερο. Είχα καταλάθος βάλει 2 κωδικούς, ένα private key για withdraw και ένα custom password για login & trade, με αποτέλεσμα να μη μπορώ να κάνω withdraw με τον κωδικό μου! Ευτυχώς είχα φυλάξει το private key και μου έδειξαν πως να κάνω σωστά την αλλαγή κωδικού. |

hi, what should i do if im getting this for last 2 days...? another browser not helped, another pc ( another town) not helped...i really dontknow what to do... ( country ban?) i cant open wallet..nothing, only FAQ tab is working... ty  Same for me I have the same problem sometimes. I also tried clearing browser cache, different browser, different PC, different location, etc. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There's no rhyme or reason. Sometimes when it doesn't work, it just doesn't work, so I decide to take a break and not check it out for a while. What I used to do was opening an incognito tab and it works. It also worked after clearing my cookies and cache I think? Also I was wondering... is there any way to see how when was the first time I started mining on my wallet? I feel like it gives me a lot less than what it's supposed to. On average 2.50EUR with 1x1080ti, 1x1070ti, 1x1070? Even though I get an average of 6€-7€ on NemosMiner benchmark and the prices rallied last week? |

I haven't been following this thread so sorry if this question was already answered. Can someone tell me why mobile miner is not transferring "mined" ETN to my mobile wallet? It worked like a charm before (when pending balance reached 10 ETN, they were transferred to my wallet), but now it's not transferring anymore. My pending balance is already on 80+ ETN.
There were some technical issues and they'll pause the transfering of balance from the mobile miner to the wallet. This is the latest update from them, I'm missing the one prior to it but this one should answer your question, https://twitter.com/electroneum/status/984460504528818176?s=19 |

Hopefully you can move with the anti-asic fork ASAP guys, your "miners" right now are people who are desperate to make back the money they lost when they bought those ASICs or the manufacturer/re-sellers who're stuck with that thing on their hands... most of them must be selling what they mine instantly.
