Take, for example, this point:
24. If you are found to be cheating or attempting to defraud Punt Casino, or if you make untrue and/or malicious comments regarding Punt Casino's operation. Punt Casino reserves the right to publicize your actions together with your identity and e-mail address, as well as to circulate this information to other casinos, banks, credit card companies, and appropriate agencies.
-snip
Wow, this is quite concerning they are basically threatening people to don't say any bad things about the gambling site or else their personal information would be exposed. I've read gambling sites banning or restricting gamblers from withdrawing for saying bad things about the gambling site they are playing at but this takes it to another level. I agree, with FarFork, I don't recommend anyone playing on the gambling site as long as they have that rule on their ToS.
This is too much actually on which threatening out people on their documents or simply their identity. This is way too much, in todays standard on which if ever a certain person do commits out a violation then they would be simply be blocked up into their accounts and couldn't withdraw, its up to you whether you would really be that serious on getting those funds back or you would simply skip. This isnt something like this where you would really be having doubts on exposing your identity once you do say bad about them.It isnt really just that right on having that kind of rule or terms.
I do skip out  right away this platform since you cant really have a freedom on telling things specially on those criticisms which you might able to throw off.

Yeah, there's no way they are legally allowed to do this. Such terms of service are ridiculous, and I don't know what idiot wrote them, but what they are doing is absolutely unprofessional, not to mention illegal. Nobody has a right to publish someone else's personal data publicly or to use it for purposes other than those for which the person has given consent. It seems like whoever wrote that fine print was either quite or willfully ignorant, either of the laws or of the basic common sense.

Hey @Punt Casino, your casino sucks!

Here you go, I just wrote a malicious comment about your business. Are you going to publicize my identity and address now? Idiots!
1922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: October 01, 2022, 10:33:38 PM
Sometimes there are some crypto projects that have almost the same white paper as other projects or in other words, they partially copy it from the previous project. And it turned out that unexpectedly, the project was actually a success in the market. The success of the project is not due to the white paper it has, but depends on the team and the goals of the project.

I have never come across a project with a plagiarized whitepaper that was ultimately successful. Can you give us an example of such a project?
I mean, if the team wasn't competent enough of writing their own whitepaper, what are they really capable of anyway?
1923  Economy / Gambling / Re: Euphoriabet.io NO KYC Crypto Esports Betting and Roulette on: October 01, 2022, 09:12:21 PM
we no have license

Thank you for the answer, although it was visible on your casino's website, do you think that this may cause distrust on the part of potential players, maybe you should think about purchasing a license? It seems to me that this would be a good step towards the development of your online gambling platform and a guarantee for players in case of disputes.

Lets just see the fact that there are many licensed casino become scam, it means that license is not really giving a legitimate view from players. They can run the project without license, as long as they can prove themselves to be reputable and reliable casino then license is not that important. As a gambler I do not really see or feel the benefits of the license.
License are just there to prove that they are a legal business. The trustfulness will depends on the gambler, Having a license is a additional points to me if I want to play on a new casino, Though this is not a deal breaker for me especially that I honestly don't look for license intentionally. I only see license as a way of a casino to build a trust to their possible customers given that they are paying tax and they abide the law.

Well, I agree. There is no guarantee that a licensed casino cannot scam. However, when it comes to KYC and my personal information, I would never give them to some unregulated site without even a license or a legal backing. Euphoriabet.io is an unlicensed and unregulated gambling site, which means there is no legal regulation requiring KYC from players, and there is no legal protection of our personal data. There is no way to tell what they are doing with it, it could be sold on the black market or used for all sorts of illegal purposes. As they are not governed by any laws, they are free to do as they please.

1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: October 01, 2022, 10:06:41 AM
Have you ever had an experience betting in which you knew that you were going over the limits of you finances and still continued?
I imagine that everybody who has been gambling for a while has gone through this. We say to ourselves, "Just one more game". And before you know it, we are over our budget. We've already exceeded the amount of time we agreed we would spend betting after just one more game. I believe that this behavior is motivated by both the excitement of the game and the perceived reward.

Ever wonder why gamblers bet more than they could reasonably afford? What is going on in their minds? I believe there is a type of addicting factor involved, and I'm not talking about just the excitement of the game.

Maybe it is the buzz. Maybe it's the thrill. Maybe it's the relaxation that you feel after a win. Maybe it's the sense of accomplishment that gambling provides. But whatever it is, I believe that if we can't control this factor, we will see a repeated cycle in which we fall deeper and deeper in debt and become progressively more and more unable to control our compulsive gambling behavior.

So how can we stop the cycle? I believe that the solution is to develop a spending plan that you can commit to and use as a guide when the urge to gamble arises. You need to decide how much you can afford to spend on gambling on an average basis. Write it down and then set limits that you can live with. Each time you gamble, take a mental look at your spending plan and decide whether you can keep to it. If you are out of money, don't gamble. Make a list of activities you could substitute for gambling, and pick one of them. Choose something you enjoy that is fun, but affordable. This is the method I'm currently trying to apply.

<...>

Yeah. Bayern had a very bad streak of four games without a win before this match, but Leverkusen couldn't make another surprise this season. Having lost five games already, Leverkusen has only won five points from eight games so far this season, which is a terrible start. Only Bochum has a worse start to the season, having managed only one point in seven rounds.
1927  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is the connection between web3 and BTC on: September 30, 2022, 09:51:51 PM
For me personally, Web3 will have more to do with decentralization and blockchain technology than with daps and NFTs, which is what the term is associated with today. Just as Gavin Wood said when he coined the term: "Web3 is really sort of an alternative vision of the web, where the services that we use are not hosted by a single service provider company, but rather they’re sort of purely algorithmic things that are, in some sense, hosted by everybody..."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web3

But these things have yet to actually happen, and the term is still just a marketing buzzword for now.

Account security should be taken very seriously in order to avoid such incidents, because prevention is better than cure.
Maybe users can also make use of the "Secret Question" feature which might help you recover the account if it's stolen, though it is mentioned that this is not recommended since it also kind of acts like a second password, I still think that it is fine as long as you create an answer which someone should not be able to guess easily. (was there any history here where a user successfully retrieved the account using this feature?). Probably, in relation to forum security, signed message really will help recovering the account.

Isn't the option to recover your password by answering a secret question disabled on the forum? I'm not sure, but I think I read somewhere that if you try to recover your password that way, your account will be locked and you will have to request a manual review and recovery process. (I can't find any details about it now though.)

Yes you are right that mate let's give them enough time to prove that they are not asking More KYC in terms of depositing and withdrawal from their customers.  But as I observe maybe this casino telling the truth but its better to be more vigilant and secure so for me if I play here I use a small amount but after that if they are good in managing then theres a chance that ill put such good an out of bet.

What's there to prove? Their Terms of Service clearly state that they require KYC from their customers, so there is no need to prove anything.

You have so many paragraphs talking about KYC and AML policy on your terms of service - (archived) and Privacy policy - (archived)

In my opinion, there are only two possibilities here: They are lying about "NO KYC" in the title of this topic, or their Terms of service and AML policy aren't true. So in any case, they are lying and/or misleading potential customers.
1931  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucetpay paying bigger withdrawals? on: September 30, 2022, 07:40:28 PM
They are doing there business seance 2019 but FaucetPay.io is not well known in this forum. they didn’t open any Complete ANN on this forum and they didn’t doing any type of promotion there site on this forum that's why We are not particularly aware of this site. And since I don't have much real experience with this site, I will never give a positive or negative comment for op's site. I would just say do your own research before using a gambling site

I think they aren't particularly well known on this forum because their service is primarily related to faucets. Although I'm not sure how many users still use faucets, I believe most on this forum are aware that they're a complete waste of time and unprofitable. Those who once pursued faucets and similar methods to earn money have since turned to bounties and shitcoins in the hope of making some profit.

Although positive reviews about faucetpay.io significantly prevails over the negative ones, although the comments are frankly not very. Service there are only two negative points that are of course controversial namely this:
-The website owner hides his identity in WHOIS using a paid service.
-Anonymous payment methods have been identified on this site.

https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/faucetpay.io

But of course the final decision is up to you to take risks or not, but I wouldn't do that.

It is important to note that those two points can apply to almost any crypto-related website, and neither of them is necessarily a sign of negativity.
1932  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🪄 arcanebet.com 🪄 Your new favourite Crypto Casino 🎲 on: September 30, 2022, 07:17:33 PM
On a completely different note, are you (reader), willing to perform KYC when being offered an appealing bonus? For example, a deposit bonus with fair rollover/wager terms. One of the main reasons attractive deposit bonuses are not common in the crypto space is that they are highly abusable when no KYC is required. It would be great to hear your opinions.

This is a great question. It's easy to see why you ask it, of course... As far as the research I have done, the majority of players in the crypto space is concerned, KYC is either extremely unpopular or dead on arrival. KYC procedures can help prevent abuse, but they are no silver bullet. However, legal compliance has its requirements as well.

With that said, money talks, after all; so if people see that something is valuable and desirable, they could be willing to go through KYC (if it's easy and not intrusive) for the chance at a reward. I don't think many of the players will see it as a downside.

Yes, I'm willing to pass identity verification (KYC) if I'm offered an appealing bonus with fair rollover/wager requirements.

My privacy for bonus with wagering requirement? I will not be willing to reveal my document for such bonus obviously. Of course it is all about preferences, but for me it does not make senses to pass KYC just because of bonuses with wagering requirement. I will prefer to pass KYC when I win huge amount only as it can be something worth for me, but for bonuses with no guaranteed value? I will never do it.
I think that for unsecured bonds the issue of complying with KYC is not very necessary, according to what I have read, or maybe there is something that I am missing? In most casinos I have seen that there are some problems due to the KYC requirements, there are even many people who are afraid of leaking their private data, and if it is dangerous, but, unfortunately, there is something that we have to get used to, if we want to be in the best casinos, we must comply with the KYC requirements, because it is a requirement and I see that this is becoming universal, and I think that the greatest obligation is that it be to make withdrawals, because it is the option that forces anyone to comply .

There is no doubt about it, most regulated casinos will require KYC from their customers at one point or another. There is no exception for a crypto-currency casino, most of them require you to sign up with your personal and financial information.

But the question was whether you would be more willing to part with personal information if you were offered a certain bonus for that? At least that's what arcanebetcasino suggested, because it would also reduce the possibility of bonus abuse by bad players.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin should I invest in other than bitcoin? on: September 28, 2022, 10:39:40 PM
If you want to invest in cryptocurrency, Bitcoin is still a good bet. It's the most recognizable name in the game now and looks likely to stay that way for a while. Though, if you're looking for alternatives and want to invest in other crypto assets that have a chance of being profitable then there are a few options out there. You should look at the top coins based on market cap and liquidity. Those are Ethereum and Binance Coin. After that, you should go for coins which are known to have some value or one with a unique purpose. Finally, you can take the riskier approach, with coins that are totally unknown. Just remember that if they do turn out to be fraudulent or a scam, it's unlikely that you'll see any of your money again.
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC and Doge has something to do with BTC? on: September 28, 2022, 10:29:18 PM
While you may have been expecting a serious response to this questions, I am sorry to say that your question itself makes no sense. What does "closer to BTC in all form?" even mean? Are we talking about supply? Technology? Use cases? This is a very strange question and there is no such thing as a "right" or "wrong" answer. Well, with that said, Litecoin and Dogecoin are both cryptocurrencies. Litecoin emerged in 2011 as a fork of Bitcoin, whereas the Dogecoin was launched in 2013 and is based on the Shiba Inu dog meme. Both coins were created to build upon Bitcoin's foundations, so they're definitely similar.

And the most disappointing thing is the correlation between Bitcoin and the stock market. Friend of mine that works for one of the biggest hedge funds tells me the BTC is going to zero value against the USD

It's a tough time to be an investor in Bitcoin, or any cryptocurrency for that matter. But hey, I believe the correlation between bitcoin and stock market is a good thing because that means more technology money will come into the bitcoin ecosystem to secure its place on technological battlefield. More money coming means better tech: more research and development, more people using it, more merchants willing to accept it. More money in its game means better price points and faster adoption as prices go up.
1936  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is Faucetpay paying bigger withdrawals? on: September 28, 2022, 08:23:58 PM
I am not sure how long FaucetPay.io has been in business, but as far as I know, they have been around for a few years (since 2018 if my memory is correct). I haven't seen any serious allegations against them yet. Not on this forum at least. But of course, that doesn't mean the company can't close shop and run away with your money at any time, since it's a custodial wallet service after all.
1937  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: September 27, 2022, 08:41:03 PM
The business world has become very competitive and in order to remain alive in the business for a long time, a business owner needs to be very proficient in many things, hard working, smart enough, financial capable and always keep his/her eyes on the customers.

There are two very important elements that are crucial in running successfully any business. First is the strong business idea and the second one is all about marketing and management skills to be able to keep customers/clients interested in your business. If you are thinking of starting a business, it is good to have a strong business plan that includes all the necessary aspects of your business such as: market research, competition analysis, finances, marketing plan etc. To increase the chances of your business succeeding, you need to ensure that you are constantly updated with current business trends, educated enough to know all the possible market shifts and you must be able to make most informed decisions.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can whitepaper still shows the weakness of a project and their team on: September 27, 2022, 08:06:34 PM
I think the whitepaper is one of the core components of a good project. You could use whitepaper as a good first step in deciding whether or not to invest in a project. Or, you could use whitepaper as just another piece of information in your final decision-making process. Whatever choice you make, make sure that it serves your purposes best.

In the end, you will have to decide what a whitepaper means to you as an investor. But one thing I can confidently say is that if you see a whitepaper that is plagiarized, inaccurate, has grammatical errors or poorly written in general; then it's almost certain that the team behind the project are not serious about their project at all.
1939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Reputation on: September 27, 2022, 07:47:59 PM
Gamblers shouldn't feel ashamed or hide from others, particularly if they are only betting for fun and don't consider themselves to be compulsive gamblers. As long as their gambling doesn't interfere with their regular life, they shouldn't treat it as some kind of secret that they must keep hidden from the world. I think everyone that has a problem with gambling should do something about it, but if you're not obsessed with gambling and you're not addicted to it then I think its fine to gamble. Many professional people gamble in different ways but they're mostly good at their job so I don't think there is a big risk even if someone find out. I can't say what people will think about you or your profession, but if you're a gambler then be honest with yourself, it's never a smart thing to lie to yourself.
1940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 27, 2022, 07:42:08 PM
No doubt, the worst day in the life of a gambler is when he is losing, and the bigger his losses are the more difficult he takes it. For me losing my $2000 bank roll was the worst day of my gambling life. But analyzing it also helped me realize that I had made a few mistakes and my biggest mistake (total action) cost me 50% of my bankroll on that day. So, if you are going to play or attempt to beat the casinos, make sure you are disciplined and do not increase your bet when you are chasing your losses. That's the most costly mistake I made with my bankroll.
