1921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Airdrops 1 Million BTC to the Poor on: February 06, 2016, 02:10:01 PM
nah, can't see him do such a thing assuming he still has access to his coins. i also wouldn't do it. i hope at some point he can nicely enjoy the value of his coins with some hot girls. Cool
1922  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: February 06, 2016, 02:06:56 PM
Of course there will be a change. I think the price now I find already quite low and many people find it too low. But they must realize that it can later be worth much.
People need patience and they should just wait quietly.

right now the price isn't really that low. if it was, then people would buy up and make the price go higher. if the price falls back to very low $300's, then you can consider the price to be low.
1923  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your predictions for 2016 on: February 06, 2016, 02:04:14 PM
Bitcoin will go low than was in 2014. Maybe in 2017 or 2018 price should be much more higher Smiley

what do you mean? that the price will go lower than the low in 2014? the lowest price in 2014 was around $320 in december 2014.
1924  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think the price will rise again above $400 on: February 06, 2016, 10:49:19 AM
right now there is not much that can make the price go and stay over $400 again. this will be the same situation when we were sitting below $300. it took a very long time before we finally left sub $300 prices behind us. it won't stay at these levels for longer than a month or so. it's just temporary.
1925  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pump only happened to liquiidate Short Stops, Dump has now wiped out Long Stops. on: February 06, 2016, 10:45:45 AM
it was an expected dump. we have seen the price go up and down quite a lot. don't think many people beside noobs were expecting it to go higher than $400. it's pure manipulation. it's a money making opportunity for the smart guys.
1926  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: February 05, 2016, 03:58:03 PM
bitcoin lives thanks to the community, if we stop to support bitcoin, bitcoin will die. It's simple

it's partly true. i think the biggest factor is the demand that comes from the outside world. if bitcoin keeps growing as currency and as investment, then the demand will simply only gets higher. a slowly growing price means that bitcoin will be a great store of value. for every aspect of bitcoin there are different people who use bitcoin the way they want. we just need to make sure that bitcoin gains more attention of institutional investors. price must grow throughout the years.
1927  Other / Archival / Re: should i save btc for future? on: February 05, 2016, 03:48:31 PM
We should save, atleast a few, or else, we'll end up buying bitcoin at higher price in the coming years..  Smiley

the thing is, a lot people don't have the balls to buy when the price doesn't move or goes down. they are waiting for the price to go up and then buy because they see it as a confirmation that the price goes up. i always buy when the price is going down, and so far i have made a decent profit throughout 2015.
1928  Economy / Speculation / Re: 400 will not hold on: February 05, 2016, 03:44:11 PM
The 400 dollar did not hold but this price at this moment will hold.
I think its stays like this till the halving will begins.

i don't think so. the closer we come to the block halving, the higher the price will be. a lot can change in a few months time. just be patient and the price will hit at least $500 before the block halving. everything higher than $500 will be a nice bonus for us.
1929  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: February 05, 2016, 03:25:32 PM
I dont see that panic buying will come ya but from yesterday it has jumped more than $20 after a fall, so like this only be going to be in this market for now, till the halvic problem is not solved

everything that is happening right now is nothing compared to what we will go through 1 or 2 weeks before the block halving. that's when people will start with panic buying like there is no tomorrow. that's when we will see price swings of $20 and higher several times a day. can't wait for that time to happen. there will be a lot money to be made while day trading.
1930  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders will be next USA president? on: February 05, 2016, 03:18:39 PM
donald trump is just a funny guy, that's all. can't believe some one is being really interested in seeing him take over the place of obama and seriously rule the country. i think hillary clinton will be the next president. she has the status and knows exactly what to do.
1931  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2020 on: February 05, 2016, 03:14:06 PM
Predictions are useless and always can be misinterpreted.
I always remember story about Nostradamus..
Can somebody tell us for sure what price of btc will be tomorrow?

no one will be able to tell you what the exact price of bitcoin will be tomorrow or next month or next year. that's why people make guesses about what they think the price will do. if you have some decent knowledge about how the market works, then you have the highest chances of getting yourself some nice profits. smartest guys make best profits.
1932  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market ended. Now going to $500 on: February 05, 2016, 02:37:16 PM
Bear market's now over guys.

Get ready for the $500 and then $1000  Grin
i think you are wrong now price is slight down and probably drop to below $350, i dont think bitcoin can reach $500 until middle of this year

I don't think that your suggestion goes right, because even those days of sudden fall it doesn't touched 350$. It may take time to reach 500$. Now its not a time to expect growth to 500$

There is strong buying support below $350. There are many whales waiting to buy at that price. The price will go higher next month.

Yes, i think 350$ is a level where a lot of people would buy, the train left the station, who is on is one, the others behind

i am quite sure that when the price is going back to the $350 price level, then we will see it drop even further down. i will buy directly as soon as we go sub $350.
1933  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2k in january on: February 05, 2016, 02:35:19 PM
It's gonna be February in a few hours, let's hope this month we would see the block size issue reach a conclusion and finally see the price gain momentum towards the halving.

it won't happen this month. i think it will take at least 6 months to a year to see an agreement about the block size issue. till that time the community keeps staying in doubt and the bitcoin alternatives keep popping up.

Even after 6 years I don't think that it would happen. The basic reason is everything has some specific value, if the price goes that high the existence of fiat money to gets increased which may lead a situation to end up all decentralized currencies.

within 6 years a lot can happen. by that time we must see the price at least above $1000. otherwise the price is just moving too slow or there is simply not enough demand. don't forget that the block rewards will be 6.25 btc.
1934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Bank??? on: February 04, 2016, 02:48:31 PM
If there is a regulated bitcoin bank and it is safe to do business with, I will save my bitcoins there and earn some interest.

regulated or not, why would you risk your precious bitcoins for a low interest rate? you holding your bitcoins is already an investment which will see its value gain significantly throughout the years. there aren't much possibilities where you can function as your own bank without the need for third parties etc. that's why people love bitcoin so much. they don't need to ask for approval to send or withdraw an x amount of coins. you decide what you want and to who you want to send it. ask a regular bank if it's possible to withdraw all your money in once if you have a decent amount, they will give you a very hard time. a regulated bitcoin bank won't be any different.
1935  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin replaces the money? Could happen? on: February 04, 2016, 02:36:40 PM
It could happen but it would take a lot of time for the bitcoin to do that.
I think it will take 10 years and that's still even fast for a change of the currency's.

it doesn't matter how many years go by. currencies as the us dollar and the euro will never get replaced by bitcoin. what i think might happen, is that a very small not important island might be using bitcoin as second main currency. i think there was already an island where something similar happened. i can't seem to find that news article anymore.
1936  Economy / Speculation / Re: $55 mio series a funding of bitcoin core, wtf ?? on: February 04, 2016, 02:31:49 PM
Who cares guys?Huh

Fork or no hard fork???

Look at the internet. Sure ipv6 is around but mainly people use ipv4. Ask Tim Draper.

This market is freakin stupid. When price goes down any freakin reason to dump.

it shows that there is much interest in the bitcoin protocol. also, the price just showed a tiny $12 spike to around $388 on bitfinex. not sure if it has anything to do with the funding, but it's certainly possible.
1937  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: February 04, 2016, 02:25:50 PM
I wish there is a proper bitcoin bank I can save my bitcoin to earn some interest. Investing with bitcoin is too risky.
yeah agree. maybe in the future. there will be a bankbitcoin that provides interest to its customers
bitcoinbank could profit from lend bitcoin to someone, like doing from bank in the real life

i am not waiting for such a thing as a bitcoin bank at all. the main reason for me to use bitcoin is that i now can avoid dealing with third party companies or services. right now i have full control over all my coins because i hold them in my wallet. if you send your coins to a bitcoin bank to just earn some interest, then you give away the precious control we so much love.
1938  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2016, 02:20:29 PM
i hold bitcoin because i believe in the future of bitcoin. at this point the whole bitcoin economy is very small which shows how much gains we can make. i will always hold some coins in my offline wallets, even when the price is at $10,000 i will not sell all my coins.
1939  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: February 04, 2016, 12:32:50 PM
1 Bitcoin for 15 years or more i think it's good the price would be so high, just stored 1 bitcoin and create paper wallet then keep it safe, that's what iam doing
yeah certainly not a problem of storing 1 BTC only, for the future.
it is for savings
maybe in 15 years, bitcoin prices could rise to touch $ 2,000

i think $2000 it's very high price but anything can happen
i hope the price stable at $1000
it's enough for me if i can hold 100BTC

2k is recheable after the next halving, and after the next bubble, it may be possible as a new bottom also, but it's hard for this year

well, if bitcoin doesn't even get to $2000 when the next block halving brings down the block rewards to 6.25 btc, then i don't know what will.
1940  Economy / Economics / Re: GERMANY CONSIDERS $5,450 LIMIT ON CASH TRANSACTIONS on: February 04, 2016, 12:29:57 PM
to be honest, a limit of $5450 is not that bad considering other countries have much lower limits. it will make bitcoin gain even more popularity as people get tired of all the shitty policies that governments are forcing on them. it's time for people to take action and choose for freedom!
