1941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Portfolio is Down on: May 24, 2018, 12:38:12 PM
I think we've all been there at some point. It just how the crypto market teaches us its way of liquidity. I myself had some points where I could have profited 400% but I lost all the chance which sucks to be honest. At least now you know how this works. That the market is not all about ups, sometimes, it goes down when we are not aware of it. Don't lost hope mate. Cryptocurrency is a vast world. There's still a lot of opportunity out there that you just have to find. I hope that new experience of yours help you in the future.
1942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will ICOs die? on: May 24, 2018, 12:07:16 AM
Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?
ICOs will never die unless the signature campaign is banned from this forum. Signature campaign are the main passage of ICOs so that they will be known by the majoriy. Also, since are technology is always upgrading, one can never tell when is the dead end for ICOs.

Actually, signature campaign is not the main marketing bounty of a project. They have a lot to choose from like ads, social media, and even articles which would boost their recognition to the masses. But still, I agree that it's is difficult to apprehend whether it will end or not in the upcoming years. As the years goes by, new things are being created, new technologies are being implemented and the amount of necessities of the people are next to infinite. It would require a devastating event to end ICO.
1943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO STOP HACKERS TO HACK YOUR CRYPTO WALLET on: May 23, 2018, 04:59:59 AM
That's some nice chunk of information mate. Usually, those are the common things that people usually do which in turn made them vulnerable to certain information leaks. Well, it's good thing that you informed those newbies to techs because nowadays, there's a lot of hackers roaming the internet. I think you should also include the wallets that the user should use because a lot of wallets to this day are infected with virus which could harm the user's information and to recommended a hardware wallet rather than a software.
1944  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 23, 2018, 04:51:47 AM
Well, there are certain circumstances that affects your choices in determining whether to sell or hold your ICO Tokens. In some cases. I just immediately just sell my token as soon as it got into an exchange from the fact that most bounty hunters are dumpers which affects the market price. In some ICOs, selling early enough gives you the maximum profit for that investment and when the lowest price as been achieved, you can invest back and wait for another pump of price. But I hold those who looks promising in my eyes.
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin VS Trading forex ? on: May 21, 2018, 05:01:36 AM
I haven't had much experience about forex trading but from the way I see it, it's hard to profit there with a small capital in hand probably from the fact that it has began way longer than cryptocurrency which makes its market capitalization huge. Bitcoin on the other hand has still a lot of room to grow and it's its volatility makes it great for small time investors or even giant companies. But of course, Bitcoin is much riskier because you never know when the price will make its move but you can have some speculations which will help you. I'd say Bitcoin gives more profit than forex.
1946  Economy / Speculation / Re: how long bitcoin survive under 10K on: May 20, 2018, 02:35:39 AM
It was pretty normal to assume that Bitcoin will stay this way till august. The market is very volatile But a possibility to make a rise is at hand from November. It might be frustrating this time of the year But that's how the market works. You can see it in the market history of Bitcoin. It might take time to recover up to $10,000 but never worry as there's still a lot of room to grow and the people are just beginning to understand what Bitcoin is. Also, people are getting smarter when investing.
1947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are joking about Bitcoin on: May 20, 2018, 02:29:51 AM
That's what you called marketing. It is pretty normal to say that they have a better product than the older one because they are introducing it to other people. If they want their sale to be successful, they have to mock other older coins to make it. They will try to present something new and eye catchy which will make the other coin look crappy. I don't think it has an impact to Bitcoin though. I see this as an advertisement to Bitcoin also as newbie to cryptocurrency will be alerted what Bitcoin is.

1949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW ANN][AIRDROP] 🚀 DSTRA COIN [DST] 🚀 [PoS] [PoC] [AIRDROP] [MASTERNODES] on: May 19, 2018, 03:24:38 AM
Nice. The thread is up and running again. This just shows how great the community and the team is. Keep up the good work guys. I know this coin will reach the public soon and and gain enough attention. Smiley

The links listed at the end of your OP are are wrong, they don't work, please check them.
As a matter of fact, it is common practice to check if the things you do are working or not, I hope you are not applying the same superficiality to the coin itself.

It was a typo on their end, that doesnt reflect their integrity. I just reported it to them so hopefully they will get it fixed asap.

The point is: teams making stupid mistakes usually would continue make stupid mistakes also in future, with all the consequences of that. They had already done the stupid mistake of violating Bitcointalk rules which has resulted in the original DSTRA thread being deleted. I agree this "typo" is a minor mistake, but it is nevertheless the proof of a superficial way of doing things.

They might have made a mistake, but people learn from it and there are more rooms to improve. Thank you for your opinion. Smiley
1950  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will silence its haters... on: May 16, 2018, 04:54:18 AM
I don't think that Bitcoin will silence its haters though. Every famous things has it's doubters. We know that Bitcoin has gone quite up since since its creation. Since then, there are haters and negative people who gives feedback to it no matter what Bitcoin achieved. We really can't stop them as it is their freedom to do so. Which is why I think even if Bitcoin has boost its price for the next decade, there will always be someone or a group that would find a negative thing on it.
1951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: May 15, 2018, 01:07:45 AM
The only way for the government to trace you is for you to give your personal information. Most exchanges now a days requires a verification of your information for you to exchange Bitcoin to fiat. Also, I think the government can use IP address to track you. You could use decentralized exchanges to avoid that but I myself haven't use any of those. You could use something like TOR to hide your real IP address. Don't worry, it's not that easy to track you as long as you hide your identities away from exchanges that require verification.

1953  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the whales are manipulating the markets on: May 13, 2018, 12:59:23 AM
I personally think that there are some giant investors or what we call "Whales" are partly manipulating the market. Cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and could be manipulated with large sum of capitals. Whales have the man power, money, and influences to use for the manipulation of a market. Whales are a friend of medias which is why I stop listening to some fakes news around the internet because I know that those medias are always bias. Whales also are in a group that helps each other. So I think there's no doubt that they are manipulating or moving the market sometimes.
1954  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin market recovering ? on: May 13, 2018, 12:47:51 AM
You are probably right but there still a lot of things that might happen. I think right now, Bitcoin is just returning to it's actually price after that huge pump. Maybe in the later month or two, we could see an actually price increase. Most of the alternative coins are down and Bitcoin's total domination has increase which means that people are returning their investment to Bitcoin. As long as we have a stable news and flows in price and not a pump, we will be able to have that healthy gain in a few months.
1955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY]⚡REOS: Decentralized Ecosystem for User-Generated Content - Launched ⚡️⚡ on: May 13, 2018, 12:34:02 AM
A pleasant day to you sir sylon. I would like to leave the signature campaign now. Thank you for accepting me again Smiley Have a nice day.
1956  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Paying Your Crypto Taxes? A Recent Study Suggests Otherwise on: May 12, 2018, 07:19:47 AM
Depending on the country you live in, you either have to pay your taxes or not. Most part of the Asia like the Philippines is still doesn't that much regulations to tax Bitcoin. Actually, stores here accept Bitcoin as payment now, there are even actually stores that exchange Bitcoin to real fiat not in the internet. But I think one day cryptocurrency would be regulated and taxed because more people are more likely to use it in the future. I hope it wasn't harsh though.
1957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will kill itself on: May 12, 2018, 01:11:28 AM
Actually, that thing that would kill Bitcoin is the users of it. Bitcoin has it's ups and down and there's no denying it. Bitcoin could be use in illegal things because of it's pseudo-anonymity that people took advantage of. Government will use its power to put as much necessary regulation as possible to prevent those things that harm people. We can't stop the people from using cryptocurrency as a way to scam or take advantage of people which is why one day, they might kill Bitcoin.
1958  Economy / Economics / Re: What is with Buffett and Gates? on: May 11, 2018, 10:05:52 AM
Probably because Bitcoin can sometimes hurt much of the investors. A lot of scams are resurfacing in the crypto space which could lead into bad image in us. I think they just want investors to be as space as possible when they are investing into something. But I personally think they know what a Bitcoin can do, they know that it is a good thing. Maybe when Bitcoin is regulated enough for the good purpose, they might change their opinions about it. I have respect for both. But even if they say that Bitcoin is a sham, it still won't change my mind. I hope you too.
1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is the Fastest of 'em all? on: May 11, 2018, 05:25:25 AM
In my opinion, I think most of the coins today are pretty fast which could only take a second to transfer. The only thing that matters is that if a coin is reliable enough. There might be a lot of them but not all of them are trusted and safe. If you wan't something that is pretty fast and cheap, try Doge coin. Doge coin is fast, cheap and probably one of the most stable and reliable coin out there because of it's stable price and a lot of GPU miners are mining it as it is profitable. Or if you want, try Ethereum, it is also fast but kind of expensive if you ask me.
1960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: May 10, 2018, 02:19:38 AM
It's actually simple. To make profits out of it. Remember last year where airdrop is a thing and a lot of shitcoins are created and the Bitcoin community is starting to boom? That's the time where investors are really not researching things and stuffs and just blindly investing into coins that looks cool and they think they have potential for the hope of someday making bucks into the crypto space. But that's also when those coin developers starts creating coins and advertising them, waiting for a few days, then dumping all their coins leaving some newbie investors in grief.
