Countdown to auction end: 27 minutes

So, we are nearly there for auction deadline! Check out this nice image of a leonArdo instance I am using for testing. It's great having a product that pays you to test
as I'm interested in this product and a long time user of bitcointalk, I would offer the service for the leonArdo Team, if they accept and trust me. I would charge a 1 % fee in BTC for the transactions (this seems normal here on bitcointalk for low risk transactions).
Fantastic. We will take care of the fees for everyone. If you don't want to wait a few weeks before getting a copy, secure your copy tonight The auction ends tonight at midnight CET/ 11pm UTC.

Hey Guys, Are any of you senior/hero members interested in providing the escrow service for leonArdo? We thought: why not pay the fee to someone who is interested in leonArdo and is reading this thread anyway Just drop us a message. If no one calls dips we'll run it through someone else. Have a nice day and keep on bidding

Countdown to auction end: 27 hours And remember that a further benefit of being one of the auction winners is that you will receive all future market plugins for free. Our next step is to implement a plugin for Cryptsy, then counterparty or bitstamp...
were you doing something for XCP on this leonArdo?
Actually our plan is to support all major exchanges and also de-centralised exchanges such as counterparty (XCP). We have started with BTC-e, and will next add Cryptsy before tackling XCP and bitstamp and whatever else there is a demand for! We have already had very positive contact from the XCP team and are looking forward to working with them to create the best possible user experience. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions

Please take a few minutes to watch our video. We can't believe that so many people have clicked onto the thread but not clicked through to the video? We promise that leonArdo is hands down the best crypto trading experience you can get. So check it out and let us know what you think! (it's not just a promo video, it's more like a leonArdo tutorial)

Wow! Sieht toll aus!
Danke.

0.62 Cheers Big Ears Edit: Would be great to see what you can do integrating this software with counterparty (and the other 2nd gen dex when they get round to theirs!). Welcome and thanks for your bid Until next week we are focused on the first release, but we are already in talks with other developers to join the project. Getting leonardo to work with counterparty and other DEXs is something we are really looking forward to do. We will keep you updated!

I agree, it's a really great idea.
Couldn't there be client-side "automated BTCpay", though?
If I understand that correctly, than that's exactly what leonardo was built for: Handle stuff that you don't wanna handle manually while providing the functionality via an easy to use interface
That's a great idea. I love it. It'd be great to have such an interface to Counterparty, which indeed right now has a good deal of functionality under the hood, but is somewhat lacking in powerful and intuitive interfaces. The only potential problem I see is in trading with BTC on Counterparty, which requires a follow-up transaction (and API call) to finalize the purchase of another asset. Of course, that won't stop it from working with user-created assets and XCP.
Is the code all closed-source? What are you looking for, from us, to add Counterparty support to leonardo?
We also think counterparty and leonardo could be a great fit. Even so leonardo is not open source (yet) and will stay that way for a while. Until now our abstraction layer was designed for centralized exchanges in mind but I don't see a big problem in adding additional xcp related functionality (even follow-up transactions). All we have to do is talk to counterpartyd/bitcoind locally + maybe some state/event handling, right? I have to take a closer look at it though. Haven't had enough time to play with counterpartyd other than setting it up
What would it add to what the protocol already does
nothing It does not add something to the core protocol. It is a front-end to the functionality of the protocol itself. It would basically provide the functionality that website of centralized exchange (cryptsy, poloniex) provides.

Hej. I am one of the three guys who developed a trading application/framework called leonardo. At first we just wanted to create a better trading interface for centralized exchanges but with the built-in market abstraction layer it shouldn't be that hard to get it to talk to counterpartyd. What do you think? Do you like the idea? Do you see problems? More info on leonardo at: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=506317.0If you have scam concerns, please read our announcement before yelling at us

Sometimes, an idea pops into your head and you ask yourself: why didn't I come up with something that easy/trivial in the first place The same happened to us when we were re-thinking the account verification process. The result is that you don't even have to provide us with half of one of your keys anymore (which was already less than some others ask for). Now, a simple hash (SHA-256) of it is all we need!

A quick update from us:
At the moment we are working on the last touches for the first release but also on a unified trading API (e.g. REST as proposed by one4many). With that API we want to enable you guys to be able write your own strategies without worrying about the implementation details for every market. Also leonardo can be used to analyze/control your bots as you can see in the video. If anyone is interested in writing their own strategy, feel free to let us know your needs and feature requests.
some personal remarks on the use of trading bots: If you don't have access to the sources make at least sure you run it in a safe environment (e.g. VirtualBox, kvm, vmware), generate a new trading key and revoke any withdrawal privileges from that key. Or even setup a new trading account for the bot entirely. And as always: don't risk more funds as you are willing to loose. (Disclaimer: I also develop/sell algo trading software, so expect my opinion to be a bit biased

At the moment we are working on the last touches for the first release but also on a unified trading API (e.g. REST). With that API we want support users to write their own strategies without worrying about the implementation details for every market. Think of that as some kind of plug-in. leonardo will then work as frontend to supervise, adapt and backtest those custom strategies. If anyone is interested in that feel free to let us know your needs and feature requests. If you don't want to read the lengthy post we also have a video tutorial for leonardo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjLbJuUsp0A

Bevor Ihr also laut Scam schreit, schaut doch mal in unsere "Piece of Mind" Section im ersten Post. Wenn Ihr noch Fragen habt, stellt diese gerne hier oder natürlich auf im oben genannten Thread. Wir wünschen ein schönes WE und freuen uns über Vorschläge und Kritik.
