Can I request a feature?
I was manually doing margins and watching the cool display through the bot. Is there perhaps a way to have a display like that (lines, profit %, etc) for regular trading? That would be awesome!
For manaul trading you can use leonArdo's ruler. Click in the chart at a completed order and drag up or down to see the profit you want after exchange fees. Then you can align the manual price line and place your order! You can lock the ruler to a candle or order. Really glad you like our visualisation for margin trading  Best wishes, Jonathan |

I am a noob but have decided to take the plunge. I signed up for the demo and learning to use the margin maker strategy. I haven't had a chance to read through the whole thread, but have 2 questions: - Can someone please point me to a previous comment that helps out noobs with initial strategies to try with the bot
- I ran it for 12 hours and the bot did about 10 trades in total - where can I see the P/L for all those trades. I wasn't able to locate this

leo, we talked a while back about being able to ping pong by setting satoshis above or below sell ask prices...it's a strategy that has worked well for me in the past with the old Quatloo trader bot.
Any plans to implement this as an advanced strategy? I could give you some screen shots from the old bot I used. unfortunately its broke now. But the program still runs...just cant connect to the API anymore

I suggest everyone stop using any bots on Poloniex when they are overloaded. The DDos claim is utter bull. Their systems are always bogging down when they hit more than 35K users. there were almost 40K yesterday. It's down again today too. (still is). No API access is working and tons of people have lost money because of the lag/inability to cancel orders or cover short positions. Scary.
Unless they beef up their systems BIGTIME ASAP, a LOT of people will and are pulling their accounts off there for other exchanges. I might be doing the same too.
On the other hand, Leonardo works very well on GOOD exchanges. :-)
We really hope things improve at Poloniex. Sorry to all our users who have had bots stopping on them. leonArdo tries and tries, but at a certain point it has to stop if the API doesn't return. I am sure the guys at Poloniex are working hard to fix the issue. Best wishes, The leonArdo guys |

Another question:
From time to time it happens that a window pops up
"One active order remains. Do you want to cancel it?"
Im pretty sure that I didnt accidently press buttons, so why it is happening?
And deosnt matter what Im clicking "yes / no" the bot stops on that currency.

The best I can tell is that it does that when it's trying to draw funds that aren't available (perhaps the coin value has increased). Try to leave some btc & altcoin for a bit of wiggle room. Well, in my case I left some btc in the wallet, but yesterday this ocurred again but this time in all coins at a time (i noticed that it was when poloniex was offline), and then it stopped the strategies alone, even for the coins for which there wasn't nothing to buy, in fact there was a sell order of a previous buy, not a buy order, so the bot was not trying to buy anything. So my guess is this is an API disconnection issue, and not only an issue with lack of btc balance because bot was not trying to buy in some cases. Sure, if the API goes down leonArdo's bots will stop! |

accidental buy instead of sell Now I understand more  Its just the first bet, but its pretty important what to start with....depends (as well) on the curve.and what my actuall aim is...right? Another Question: Do I "have to" readjust the setting if the graph is getting out of my setting range? Does it goes out of that range or is the sell/buy area range "auto adjust" and follows the curve? thx If you sell and the course keeps moving upwards then the bot will not place the next buy unless you have allowed for a negative Min. I see mArgin maker and Ping pong strategies in leonArdo, do you have plan to implement more strategies such as ARB and balancing?
We plan to implement more strategies, but in general want to give you the tools to create your own. Our strategy editor will enable that. How is that memory leak bug fix coming? I have to restart the program every other day. It's a bitch. Thought we had it a few times, but turned out we didn't. Horrible work but we will find it. Really sorry for the inconvenience. Best wishes, Jonathan You'll figure it out. Had it shut my program down once with a bunch of pop ups (something about c+ errors). The other times it just gets SO slow. One question I have. Is the program supposed to recover when exited (and restarted)? Because I've never been able to get it to continue trading (they all say suspended, but if you change it to resume, it doesn't take control). It works fine when losing internet connection, though. Yes, after re-start all strategies are put in suspend mode. Actually, we want to add a Resume all strategies as right now you have to go through each one and manually resume each one which is a bit of a pain. But after a re-start resume always works for me. Is it not working for you? The bot should look for its last order. If it finds it, it grabs it. Otherwise, it switches actions and places an order. Best wishes, Jonathan |

Alt coins are performing incredibly...
Yup. Any idea when the next release will be and what will be changed? We're still very eagerly waiting for a profit/loss per day kind of thing per coin/market, etc. and/or a way to setup smaller automated trades with offset stats and have leonardo populate this for us, vs manually doing orders . The next release will contain some much needed maintenance for the memory leak and some CPU optimizations. After that stop-loss is on the cards. Reporting will follow. Sorry the pace is a little slow, but I am putting together an all-star team of devs now which means the pace will quicken going forward. Best wishes, Jonathan |

Yup, that's it. After I start leaving at least 1% of whatever coin and BTC in reserve related to it, that has not come up. Thanks for helping out guys!
