I have just purchased the bot, how long will it take for me to get it?

Any minute now. Dealing with lots of new customers Smiley

A nice problem to have!

I've got question about bot. Is there any function like this and how I can setup this? 'If numer of buy orders increase(set %) in a period of time(set time) buy a specific amount coins(how many btc)'

No. This is not available yet.

It will be in a future release.

Any approximate time of release this? I will buy bot when this will be available.

Giving an approximate time for this is just not possible now. In general we want to add a strategy editor, but this is a large piece of work which needs to be properly resourced.

I could say in 3 months time, but it could take 6 months or more depending on some other factors.

Sorry I cannot be more specific and thanks for your interest in leonArdo!

Any rough estimate when strategy editor is available?

Not before the end of the year. But we plan to release a host of other bots before then...

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Any news on updates? Still crashing as always and stopping bots for no reasons.

That's unfortunately the same thing for me here.  Poloniex high load or volume => leonArdo crashing more often (because, I suppose, of weird API responses from Poloniex).
I suppose it is much better than it was a few releases ago, but it is still currently very difficult to use.

The next update - which is hopefully coming within the week as we are currently testing it - should reduce the probability of a crash. It also fixes the memory leak and has CPU optimizations, plus a nice little extra surprise.

Sorry it is taking so long, but it was complicated stuff that affected all areas of the codebase.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

buyed a copy
waiting for email reply..

They're in (Germany, I think?), so it may take awhile.

Devs: I had a crash and now upon restart my SC candlestick chart only goes back a few hours. None of the other coins are like that. Is there a way to force it to fetch chart data?

We had to re-start our data collection to ensure SC was included. That means we only have a day's worth of data. Sorry about that.

Best
Jonathan

interesting ...

is there a way to cater for all data - as well as newly included data as an addition? ...

or is it something that cannot be done? ... where you add a coin - and you have to restart your database again? ...

#crysx

Hi,

We need a re-start now.

We are working on scripts to grab all data and sync it with our db so that will solve the issue in the future.

Thanks,
Jonathan

Hi, last week I have purchased a copy of this great software.

I have one question:
I have chosen BB and MACD in my strategy. Will these indicators be used whenever the bot is trading (selling and buying)?

Regards,

Luciano

Thanks for buying leonArdo!

No, those indicators are not used by the bots. We have plans to release a number of new bots over the next few months culminating in a GUI strategy editor which will allow users to create their own strategies. Here, leonArdo's indicators will be able to be used to trigger buys and sells.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Hey,

Does this bot supports arbitrage?

What's the current price?

all the best..

Thanks for your inquiry.

No. We don't support arbitrage. For that we would need to be able to move funds between accounts and we don't want that level of access!

Thank you Leonardo / Jonathan for your great work and support.
I had some issues and the support was great.

Thanks Smiley

Idea / Quesion
A very nice option would be an webinterface to enter leonardo remotely via a password protected page.
DNS:Port (open ports surely required)
What do you think about it and how useful would this feature be?

We like the feature and it is definitely on our wish list.
But security is of utmost important and running with a public accessible open port has undergo tight security audits.
It is all a matter of resources. We will probably add the feature, but at the moment it is more a longterm thing.
Thanks for suggesting features. Just let us know what you guys want in the product and we will do our best to build it Smiley

Overall, the thing which upset me the most is that the software crashes. C++ library.

Would it be because I am running so many bots? Is there a limit to the maximum number to run simultaneously?

It has nothing to do with number of bots.

I do see it more often when Polo is fucking up, though. I think the bot isn't handling something properly when Polo is wonky. I don't know if it messes up on other exchanges.

It did this error for me on Bittrex a number of times, up to the point that I couldn't open the Bittrex market at all.  It was clearly a weird API response from Bittrex (I could see in the logs that it wasn't JSON at all).

So it seems to me that some improvement of error handling would be required here.  Normally, leonArdo should be able to continue past the unintelligible API response, and not simply crash wioth that C++ Library error instead.

We agree. Seg fault crashes should not happen.

If you can re-produce one - we'd love to hear how you can do it.

If you can produce a crash report please send it on.

Any specific information helps us to improve leonArdo. This is complex stuff, but we are working hard on it.

Thanks for all your support guys!

I am under the impression that I wrote it a few times already:  Make orders, then cancel before the order is placed / confirmed on the exchange, or move an existing order then cancel it before it has finished to replace it.  That's a near-guaranteed crash, at least in my experience.

If you want to test and reproduce that, just place many bots (with 0.001 BTC value, or something like twice the minimal value), and have fun moving them around in an aggressive way, like if you want to push leonArdo to the limit.  You'll see it crash quite easily, I believe.

Not a day passes by without leonArdo crashing.

As for a "crash report", would any of the logs be helpful for you?  I've offered by email to send you that a few times, but I didn't get a clear reply on it.

Also, I believe it would be important that you setup PGP key, so that we can communicate securely with you by email.

I am not only talking to you TransAtlantic! There are others on the thread here.

The issue you described has been noted and is a help to us.

The leonArdo logs won't help for a seg fault crash.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I'm running the bot on Poloniex. Why the bot stops and does not run 24/7?
My internet connection is pretty stable.

Suggestion:
when the bot runs in Ping Pong, assuming it starts with a buy. Once it makes a successful buy and a successful sell, would it be possible to make it do a sell (assuming there is enough coins in the balance) and keep it running this way? In other words: buy --> sell --> sell --> buy --> buy ....
Sorry if I am not really clear

It's Poloniex. They have had problems for a week now.

Such bullshit!!!

 Undecided

Actually, it's not bullshit. Poloniex have been under extreme pressure for the past couple of weeks now. At times it takes minutes for an order to get placed and at a certain point if the API stops communicating, leonArdo's bots have to stop.

As for your question. It's currently not possible, but as akeetlebeetle said, you can set up multiple bots on a single currency pair.

I hope that helps.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Bitstamp is adding Litecoin trading (LTC/BTC, LTC/EUR, LTC/USD) in early June.
(source:  https://www.bitstamp.net/article/bitstamp-announces-phase-ii-its-development/  )
and Ethereum "will be made available shortly after".

Any chance that the Bitstamp market on leonArdo be updated to support that?  (and including Ripple too, which is already available on Bitstamp?)

Margin trading at Bitstamp is on the way, too.

Yes! It's on our to-do list!

Thanks for the heads up!

Best wishes,
Jonathan

I just tried buying and selling MYR and it worked. Perhaps when you tried the API had been down temporarily?

It seems fine now.

Can you try again?

Sorry, it was my bad, i misconfigured API settings, now all works perfectly!

Thank you for this amazing software Smiley

Thanks!

I just want to say that this tool is making a lot of money for me. It was down for a week because my keys were not allowed anymore (dont know why), but i found out that normal trading through the website isn't that easy as with this tool

This tool is really worth its buck. Just buy it and support them.

@leonArdo@margin when are new features coming out?

Hey BadAss,

Thanks for your kind words of support.

We will really ramp up new features - stop-loss, reporting, more bots, new indicators etc. over the next few months as I onboard the all-star team I am putting together. But until then we are very light on the ground in terms of resources. And right now we are re-writing thousands of lines of code to fix the memory leak. The next release will be an under the hood one and will not only provide a fix for the memory leak, but also contain many other CPU optimizations.

Please have patience with us. We are doing all we possibly can to make this as fast as possible.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Leo keeps now stopping the bots after a few hours, asking if I want to cancel the order it had set. Not sure why. Plenty of coin and BTC as backup to 'move around' with.

Also keeps saying the Internet is not working and to check the settings. (Everything is fine on my end though). Click 'OK' and it logs in fine.

Just FYI.

Also, the runtime crashing today is crazy. Please make that a priority to fix as it's getting out of hand now.

Hi thedreamer,

The internet connection was an issue on our side that we introduced and then promptly fixed! It should work now!

As for the bots stopping. In most cases that is because the API just stops delivering to leonArdo. There is a bug on our side we need to track down, but in 90% of the cases it is not our issue.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

May I make a much-needed feature request?

On the margin maker bots, could we have a reset button that makes it forget what the last trades were? Say I don't use the margin for a week and then re-start it, right now it's still constrained by its last trade. I literally have to delete the bot and start a new one. That's a bit annoying.

Thanks!

Noted.

Thanks,
Jonathan

No, still the same Sad

Have you ever been able to place an order? What OS are you on?

Is anyone else having this issue with bittrex?

I just set up leonardo for bittrex. I'm able to connect but when i try to open new order i receive an error: "Order could not be placed" however poloniex works just fine.
Does somebody knows what should i do to fix it?
