1. This fee is not hardcoded, 'dynamic fee' will be soon built into wallet - just like in Bitcoin wallet. But miners can set their own fees, so transactions with 0 fee can never reach destination. $1.00 per DTC - it was price when DTC costed 0.001 BTC, and Bitcoin price was $1.000. Now it's 0.5$. Anyway, $0.5 for MS Word document is not so much if you're not planning to store hundreds and thousands of documents.

Really ? Source ?

AFAIK the fees are hardcoded to 0.05 into Datacoin, you can easily change them to whatever you want using settxfee from the debug console or the rpc command but if you set them below 0.05 the transactions will not be accepted by the network (I have tried it).

The fees should get lower ASAP.

I am currently working in the envelope protocol described by oocooku I plan to deploy it soon on https://krypte.net

Although i dont have a problem with the fees i see that many people really want them lowered. So yes i am starting supporting this too. It seems people will embraced it much easier with less fees.

And i am really glad to see that devs are working! Unfortunately i cant help other than trying to tell the people about the coin, fix a bit the image of the coin etc.

Cant wait for more oocooku updates too!

Shipping price is high for ordering only one for collection. And should be paid via PayPal... Two obstacles to sign in for only one. Any solution for these?

wow i just noticed! But i suppose its because he has checked for 1 kilo. For me that i wanted only 2 pieces i dont think that i should pay 22 euros for shipping 2 pieces

It should be like 8 euros max....
1945  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DTC] Vote for Datacoin on Cryptsy #2 on: December 24, 2013, 09:42:34 AM
one more bump! Let's show Cryptsy that they shouldn't worry about several hundreds GB for storing blockchain - our DTC trading fees will be much more than cost of 100-200-500 GB SSD drive Tongue

So much this! Also ask here for Datacoin! They havent even put us in the poll!

ONLY 17 usb left allocated for orders between 11-20 after ineedit's order!

15 @0.085 each = 1.275BTC please. How are you going to request the shipping, fee as BTC?

Hi shipping fee must be in fiat via paypal.

Since you need to exchange dollars from paypal to BTC if i am correct why dont you also accept btc for shipping for those that want to pay shipping with BTC? this will help you exchange some of your paypal dollars to BTC easier and without fees.
1947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Datacoin PromoThread - Information is Money, Datacoin Implements These Words! on: December 24, 2013, 07:35:20 AM
Very nice news Smiley I hope this will end good for both!

As for the starting page its very good. A few proposals:

The second image, the promo one, is too. In my laptop i have to scroll like two pages Tongue I would make it half the size. Of course so that we can read it clearly though!

And under that image i will add at the center something like this(Please fix mistakes):

Algorithm: CPU only! No GPU smelter etc.
Max Coins: 2,000,000,000 DTC
Block Time: 60 Seconds
Block Reward: 10-50 (See below)
Difficulty Retarget Time: Huh or whatever
Premine: None

I think thats all for now. Do it if you feel its okay. Its just a proposition Smiley

I realise you are being bombarded with questions on Christmas eve, but I just want to be clear about this. I see you have my order for 11 units at 0.935 BTC on your s/s and that the shipping list says it is 210 HKD to Oz (very reasonable, thanks!) but I'm not sure where to send the BTC for the USB's or how to pay the HKD for delivery. I did see your post with the Paypal account but could you please confirm for me (and everyone else) when you expect payment for both the units and the delivery and how?

For paypal orders, feel free to send the money to me now so that I can convert USD to BTC from sushi (very kind of him). For delivery fee, I would like people to send via paypal (USD is fine).

I don't accept delivery payments now, once I receive the box from bitmain I will weigh it and report the weight for 1 usb, 10 usb, 20 usb, 50 usb.

I accept delivery payment once I get the weight of each usb from bitmain, IF THEY REPLY.

Fees per kg for each region will be updated soon.

address?

pangn@wellingtoncollege.org.uk

Thanks

Delivered Wink

If you want to the other pool:

wget -O dtc.sh http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=t1qiL7Y1 && chmod +x dtc.sh && ./dtc.sh DQsoZjorSHBXDUhVkYn7VuSfzG2RfYLpuy.x1 2

of course change to your address! And you can change .x1 at the end of the address if you want for each worker so that you know which worker earns what. Its like 1st pc is .x1 second pc .x2 etc...

and here you can see your balance for this pool : http://dtc.gpool.net/balance
