btw anyone else thinks that dev is a bit of a scammer? it seemed to me that first blocks were huge, about 93k for instamining.

same with -v 32 and -v 512 any ideas?? they need a modified cpu miner for that pool. I changed github link so you have to remove the previous cpuminer and do it again. cd rm -rf cpuminer-heavycoin this will remove the previous miner and then you should do everything again from here and on. I changed the OP : git clone https://github.com/1gh/cpuminer-heavycoini cant test it right now cause i have to leave but i will test it later if there are problems... |

Is it just me or does this sound like pretty big news? Well the armory isnt that big as silkroad. But sure it is! We all wanted to buy products with Darkcoins right? Well now you can buy that AK47 you always wanted with your mined coins. lol |

at first i said well it is just a hype coin that dev will not deliver. but then dev seems commited...
so since i dont have technical knowledge i want your criticism on that aspect.
Edit: i am asking here because obviously if it is serious it would be good for bitcoin obviously.
While I think the system is "legitimate", I don't believe it would do the Bitcoin ecosystem much good. Bitcoin is obviously becoming more "legitimate" and part of that comes with further tracking and regulation. since when bitcoin wants regulations? regulations are for the centralized fiat exchanges. not for cryptos... |

I had to add some extra nodes to heavycoin.conf from the main thread to make sure it connected.
more nodes added! so guys everything was fine or i should change something in the guide? It's been working for me for a while using your conf. Honestly I couldn't say 100% sure where the problem was before, since all it took was a couple reboots, regardless of minor conf edits... so thanks again. Now it's about deciding whether 1) Going to bed leaving it in solo mode (and hear it weep and struggle) or 2) Going to bed leaving it playing ping pong with the pool. If we just had an ETA  personally i will leave all my VMs solo mining even if i havent got anything yet..after all solo seems stable at least... |

So, why? Price is very low, you have to get 10000 HVC (15 blocks!) just to earn 0.34 btc.

coin might be shit. actually every IPO is shit. and except for some minor things this coin hasnt something you. but you make fool of yourself when you are attacking a coin that has been out for less than half a day especially about the price...you can attack whatever else. but the price? really? this isnt even in a known echange yet... and dev doesnt need to premine. he already has done it...its an IPO. its a big reason not to mine this coin. but seriously the price after 12 hours and 350 mined blocks doesnt say much... |
