1961  Economy / Economics / Re: How Bitcoin can solve financial problems in Africa on: October 17, 2014, 12:23:26 PM
Africa is struggling with ebola and the problem is only going to get higher now... they can't focus on complex shit now, what they need is external help to stablish normality, then you can talk about stablishing a new economic system. Bitcoin could help in forms of donations for them, but it seems only DOGE and PND focus on charities.
1962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [For your information] BTC fixed deposit available today at JUA on: October 17, 2014, 12:17:43 PM
How can I trust that they will not fly away with my money the day I least expect it? Look at what just happened with Moolah. A lot of friends got scammed. Im scared of anything that involves depositing money long term in the crypto world. Everything seems like a god damn scam.
1963  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is satanic and Satoshi is lucifer! My uncle claims! on: October 17, 2014, 11:58:43 AM
I've heard all the theories possible on this. Namely, Satoshi is the NSA, Satoshi is the Rothchilds+Rockefellers, Satoshi is Obama, Satoshi is Lucifer, Satoshi is Dorian Nakomoto... there is nothing new to say, what the hell is next?
1964  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we love the rich and hate the poor on: October 12, 2014, 05:39:07 PM
1) in NYC 5000 people out of 8.4 million pay 50% of all city taxes

2) in California 150,000 pay 50% of state taxes

3) in America the top 1% pay 40% of all federal taxes.

No other country rips off the rich like we do in America but ,sadly, the joke is on us because when you take incentive and capital from your most productive citizens and give to your least productive, ie., liberal bureaucrats and free loaders, everyone suffers in a poor economy whose heart has been cut out.

Dangerous times when people group together to demand more pay rather than work harder.

Bitcoin is full of hustlers though. Love that shit!

Have you considered the fact that if everyone followed your shitty logic slavery would still be legal?
1965  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin survive the impending financial crash? on: October 12, 2014, 05:28:03 PM
This is my theory... as each the dollar and the euro collapses, people will rush to metals as well as Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is such a small economy, the price will start skyrocketing. As it does, holders of Bitcoin will start purchasing assets for next to nothing - particularly real estate and businesses. BUT what this will do is get Bitcoin in the hands of everyday people... I think this will help lessen the blow of any total collapse and prevent society from deteriorating into complete chaos.
1966  Economy / Economics / Re: Solution to poverty - Socialism or Capitalism? on: October 12, 2014, 04:48:16 PM
I love communism. It was paradise. The best economic system all time. Everybody was satisfied.

From what planet do you come from?
1967  Other / Off-topic / Re: You are everything on: October 12, 2014, 04:44:33 PM
What the hell is going on in this thread? shit just got real  Huh
1968  Economy / Speculation / Re: $31000 to spend on bitcoin need advice on: October 04, 2014, 12:30:39 AM
You are insane. The price is TANKING! Wait on it, and you'll see how low it really goes.
1969  Economy / Economics / Re: How do central bank accounts really work - and who are their sysadmins? on: October 03, 2014, 11:55:08 PM
Only 3 Countries Left Without a Rothschild Central Bank. At the end of the day it's all controlled by the same fucking people.
1970  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market tanking away to day. on: October 03, 2014, 11:44:09 PM
BTC is dying, but good news around the corner, US stock market is about to collapse, just read at http://www.businessinsider.com/the-us-stock-market-is-now-at-a-critical-juncture-2014-10

How does that help the BTC economy at all? If the US stock market collapses, the BTC will follow, it's not like the US collapse is collapsing because whales are moving their FIAT into the BTC economy so...
1971  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falllling is right again, Bitcoin will continue the downtrend on: October 03, 2014, 10:59:39 PM
Will it hit 300?HuhHuh?
Of course, give it 2-3 months.

I'd say 2-3 days is more likely. In fact, we might very well be sub 300 by Sunday. Then it won't take much to push us to 200 or lower. Everyone is leaving this pyramid scheme.
Why don't you as well?

Why are you assuming he didn't tho?
1972  Economy / Speculation / Re: Daily reminder if you held the bag, you are a fool and will be a loser in life. on: October 03, 2014, 10:44:32 PM
I feel bad for not buying early enough to take advantage of our only chance to get rich during ourlifetimes in no time, but I feel WORSE for these that did not sell at the peak.
1973  Economy / Speculation / Re: How LOW will we go? on: October 03, 2014, 09:37:01 PM
DieJohnny is on point, be mentally prepared for it to go lower than a bronx stripper, when this baby hits 188 USD we are going to see some serious shit.
1974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Black Swan Event on: October 03, 2014, 09:27:37 PM
better they sell now then for those coins to be lost. we can't have tens of thousands coins traped somewhere.
but yeah, we'll prob se a small price dive. again.

Wouldn't lost forever coins make the price go higher? (assuming the demand doesn't fall tho).
Simple logic = Shorter supply + big demand = higher price. R... right guys?
1975  Economy / Economics / Re: Solution to poverty - Socialism or Capitalism? on: October 03, 2014, 05:35:19 PM
Capitalism: a countries trade and industry are privately controlled

Socialism: a countries trade and industry are controlled by the community as a whole

Communism: a countries trade and industry are publicly owned and there is no class system leading to equal profit for all

All of them are shit and do not offer the solutions we need in our times.
This isn't a nuanced definition like others have offered, but here you go. I'd also say these definitions are more about these systems as they are colloquially understood rather than their pure ideological form (which would entail socialism having a potentially government controlled economy).
1976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates on bitcoin technology on: October 03, 2014, 05:18:25 PM
He likes the fact that it's cheap but wants a network that is also not anonymous.
But it's the fact that it's permissionless that makes it cheap, and you can't have a permissionless network differentiate between users who are anonymous and those who aren't.
1977  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 24, 2014, 11:58:25 PM

1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PROBLEMS? LOOKING for A Superior ANON COIN? Look no further, you're just in time on: September 24, 2014, 11:50:45 PM

1979  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEWS Litecoin and dogecoin support from paypal on: September 24, 2014, 11:43:58 PM
I hope LTC recovers, its a good coin, and DOGE is a lovely coin, glad to hear they are getting official support from Paypal.
1980  Other / Archival / Re: delete on: September 24, 2014, 11:32:08 PM
